Your P.O.V 

I sighed in relief as I put the last of my clothes into the suitcase. I was in the process of getting ready to go to a different town once again. Only this time, I had someone to meet up with when I arrived. The person was my boyfriend Laurence, who I hadn't seen in person for two years. I never wanted to leave him in the first place, but I had a lot of issues that I needed to work out. I felt like traveling would help and it did. Now I was very happy with myself and my life. 'I hope you're as excited as I am.' I thought, nervously. As I thought about meeting up with Laurence, I unconsciously grabbed the necklace he had given me as a going-away present. It was a habit I developed after awhile of being unable to see him in person. It served as a reminder of his promise he made to me right before I left.

~Flash Back~

"Do you really have to go?" Laurence asked quietly. I only nodded, not trusting myself to talk without tearing up. He hugged me tighter in response. "I'm sorry..." I whispered after awhile. "You don't have to apologize. I understand." He said, kissing my forehead gently. "I'm really gonna miss you though." We hugged each other in silence for a moment longer before I finally pulled away. "I can't stay here much longer." I said,  taking his hand and squeezing it gently. Laurence nodded. "I know. I have something for you before you go." I couldn't help but smile a little when he said that. "You got me something? You didn't have to do that." He pulled something out of his pocket and stepped behind me. A second later, he put a beautiful necklace on me. It had a silver chain and a small heart pendant with an emerald in the middle. I stared at it, a small smile on my face. Laurence wrapped his arms around my waist from behind me. "Like it?" He asked, pecking my cheek. "I love it." I replied, turning around to face him. "That way you know that my heart is always with you." He said smiling a little. I giggled. "You're so cheesy." He chuckled. "I know. That's one of the reasons you love me." He said. "Yeah, you're right." I said, leaning in to kiss him. He met me half way, placing one hand on my cheek and leaving the other one on my waist.

~Flash Back Over~

I smiled at the memory. Even though it was a sad day, he still managed to make me happy before I left. "Here I come Laurence." I said happily, grabbing my suitcase and walking out of my hotel room.

Laurence's P.O.V

I sat on the couch, watching T.V as I waited for (Y/N). I glanced out the window every few minutes. It had been so long since I had seen her and I couldn't help but feel impatient. I yawned, feeling tired as I had been too excited to sleep. I turned off the T.V and laid down on the couch, positioning myself so I could see out of the window. After awhile, I closed my eyes only intending to rest my eyes, but I ended up falling asleep. 

~Time Skip~

I woke up to the sound of a car door closing and it took me a minute to remember that (Y/N) was supposed to be back. As soon as I remembered, I jumped off the couch and rushed to the door. I opened the door and ran outside, grinning when I saw her face. I ran over and picked her up in a hug, spinning her around.

Your P.O.V

I couldn't stop smiling as I opened the car door and stepped out. I walked towards the door, freezing when it opened. I smiled brightly when I saw Larence, almost not believing it was him. He ran over and picked me up, spinning me around. We both laughed as he spun and I couldn't stop giggling when he set me down. He hugged me tightly to his chest and I hugged back. "I'm so happy that you're back." Laurence said, pulling away to look at me. "So am I. I'm never leaving for that long again." I responded, grabbing his hand. "Even if you do, my heart is always with you." He said, tapping the heart pendant on my necklace. I laughed, shaking my head. "Still so cheesy." I said, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Don't lie, you love it." He said, pulling me closer to him. "Yeah, I do." I replied quietly, leaning in and kissing him. Laurence kissed back, moving one hand to cup my cheek. I smiled warmly as I pulled away. "I love you." I said, hugging him tightly and resting my head on his chest. "I love you too." He responded quietly, resting his chin on my head. In that moment, I couldn't have been happier.
