"I think it is Lilypetal...but...I am not sure."

The word does not really taste well in Barkpaw's throat as they turned sour. He still could not believe it, but... that was the closest version of the truth.

Falcondusk raised an eyebrow suspiciously as he asked, "Lilypetal? Are you joking?"

"No," Barkpaw replied, "Don't you think that she is acting a bit weird?"

"Weird? Interesting. I will think of a punishment for her later..." Falcondusk nodded as they reached the tunnel. Barkpaw watched Falcondusk taking a deep breath as he stepped into the hole...

"Do you get anything important, Falconstar?" Barkpaw asked, trying to break the silence.

Falconstar looked at him with unreadable eyes as he replied, "I am sure that it is Lilypetal."

"Why?" Barkpaw mewed as he was trying to keep up with Falconstar's speed. His leg was not co-operating as he limped on the soft ground. Falconstar threw the words, "I just know that."

Barkpaw shut his mouth as he was trying to catch up with Falconstar. He raced through the hard rocks as they faced the shallow scoop. Falconstar left Barkpaw behind as he disappeared into the crowd. 

Barkpaw did not give a second thought to Falconstar's action. Instead, he was ready to return to the medicine cat den when he heard some whispers.

"The plan succeeded."
