Akemi:*I panted heavily as I held my bloodstained pocketknife in my hands. I looked down at my victim, my hands trembling. My friend...My best friend was lying at my feet in a pool of their blood. And I was their killer.* I...I'm sorry! I...I didn't want to...I....I had to! *Tears poured down my face as I recalled the events of the past weeks.*

-Flashback: 2 weeks prior to the murder-

*It was about 3 days since the love of my life, Mondo Oowada was executed. In the first two, I had locked myself in my room and refused to speak to anyone. But luckily for me, Taka wouldn't give up on me and waited outside my door. He was there for me when no one else was. Eventually, he got me to stand up and return to my usual self. It's thanks to his kindness that I'm still living, despite the hellish situation I'm in. So, as usual, I met with everyone in the Dining Hall for breakfast.*

Akemi:*greets everyone* Morning.

Hina:*smiles brightly* Good morning, Akemi!

Akemi:*I smiled slightly. It was good to see Hina staying positive, despite our situation. Before I could comment on this however, Byakuya cleared this throat.*

Byakuya:Ahem. We have more pressing matters here than greetings. *turns to Makoto, obviously annoyed* Why have you called us here, Naegi?

Makoto:*looks up at everyone after gathering his thoughts* Well...We need to keep looking for an escape and-

Akemi:*I interrupted him* What's the point? Maybe...Maybe we should...try to stay here.

Hifumi:*gasps* Ms. Minako! Could it be that...you're giving up?!

Akemi:*I shook my head vigorously* No, that's not it!

Byakuya:Then perhaps she's luring us into a false sense of security...So she can betray us later.

Akemi:No, that's wrong! 

Byakuya:*eyes narrow* Then EXPLAIN. Now.

Akemi:*I sighed heavily* Just ignore him, Akemi... *I turned to Makoto and the others* What I'm saying is...If staying will prevent more people I care about dying...Then maybe that's best. I'm saying....I refuse to attempt an escape! Think about it! Sayaka, Leon, Junko, Chihiro...a-and Mondo too...They all died because we couldn't give up on leaving! I don't want to lose anyone else! S-So...if you guys wanna keep looking, more power to you. B-But...I'M DONE REACHING FOR HOPE THAT ONLY LEADS TO DESPAIR!!! *After that episode, I returned to my room. And slowly returned to the cycle I was previously in. It wasn't as bad as before, of course. I would eat in the Dining Hall (after everyone left). I would socialize in my free time (mainly with Taka), and I would sleep (or rather, I would sleep and wake up due to horrible nightmares of the Killing Game thus far). This routine continued...Until Monokuma announced his murder motive.

The day played itself out with my usual routine. But once nighttime hit...*

*Ding dong, Bing bong!*

Monokuma:*appears on the monitor* Ahem! This is a school announcement. All students, please head to the gymnasium, immediately! *disappears as the monitor goes off*

Akemi:*I sighed heavily, half-angered and half-annoyed* Now what does that damn bear want?! No matter what he has in mind, I won't play this sadistic game of his any longer!!! *With this resolve in mind, I headed to the Gym.*

-Gym-

Akemi:*When I walked into the Gym, the others were already there. And before anyone could say anything, Monokuma appeared out of nowhere, standing on his podium*

Monokuma:Phuhuhu! I've just noticed this Killing Game is experiencing a lack of...Oh, I dunno...KILLING?! So, I believe it's time for my next motive!

Byakuya:What heinous plans do you have in mind this time, Monokuma?

Monokuma:Excellent question, Togami!

Byakuya: *smirks* Actually, I don't really care. Hurry up and tell us so we can continue the game. 

Monokuma:Right, right, right! Alright, is everyone listening? The motive this time is...

Akemi:*My entire body trembled. Whatever Monokuma had in mind, I knew it couldn't be good.*

Monokuma:This!!! *he throws envelopes at our feet* In each of the envelopes, you'll find a special motive! Oh, but don't worry! They're all different! I pride myself on originality these days! I couldn't BEAR it if I used the same boring concept of a single motive!

*With trembling hands, everyone picked up their envelopes*

Akemi:*I opened my envelope and gasped* N-No way! *On the inside of my envelope were the words...*

-Intermission-

Monokuma:*breaks through the screen* Whoa there! If you wanna know the motive, you're gonna have to wait until the Class Trial! Hit it, author!

-End intermission-

-Time Skip; The next morning-

Akemi:*I ran to the Dining Hall, my eyes wide with fear. I burst through the door and caught Makoto and the others' attention* Guys!!! We have to hurry!!!

Makoto:Akemi! What happened?!

Akemi:*I panted heavily* I-It's horrible!!! I-In the Physics Lab Equipment Room! Th-th-th-th-there's...!!!

Kyoko:Akemi, calm down.

Sakura:She's right. Take a deep breath and tell us. There's what?

Akemi:A....A body!!!! A corpse!!! 

*Everyone gasped at my words*

Makoto:What?! A-Are you serious?!

Celeste:I honestly doubt she would be joking about something so serious.

Byakuya:*calm as ever* Take us to it. Now.

Akemi:*I nodded and we headed to the Physics Lab Equipment Room*

-Physics Lab-

Akemi:*We ran into the Physics Lab. The smell of blood permeated the air.* I-In here, quickly!

Makoto:Well then...L-Let's open the door and....take a look...in...side...

Akemi:*Makoto opened the door and...a horrid sight beheld itself before our eyes*

*In the center of the room, in a puddle of her own blood....was Aoi Asahina, the Ultimate Swimmer. A knife impaled her stomach and her eyes were wide, contorted in a mix of shock and terror.*

Makoto:N-No way..! This...can't be happening...!

Sakura:HINA!!!! *runs up to her best friend's bloody body and checks her pulse* This...can't be....Sh-She's dead!!!

-Ding dong, Dong ding!-

Monokuma:*appears on the monitor* A body has been discovered! After a certain amount of time, which you may use however you like, the Class Trial will begin! *disappears as the monitor goes off*

Sakura:*eyes darken as she clenches her fists in anger* Hina...I am so sorry I could not protect you from this terrible fate. *she turns to everyone else* Who...did this? *her eyes flash with anger and pain* WHO MURDERED MY BEST FRIEND?!!!

Kyoko:Sakura, I understand how you feel, but we need to investigate. Getting angry and letting our emotions run wild won't help us find Hina's killer.

Akemi:*I nodded in agreement* She's right, Sakura. We need to work together and bring Hina's killer to justice.

Sakura:...Very well...I vow to do whatever I can to help.

Akemi:*The investigation began without a hitch. Everyone scrambled around the room. Some were asking for alibis, some were combing for clues, and some were looking at Hina's body. I, meanwhile, was looking the Monokuma File over several times while standing guard at the Crime Scene* "The victim is Aoi Asahina, the Ultimate Swimmer. The estimated time of death is 3:00 a.m. The victim sustained two stab wounds, but the fatal wound was the stab to her chest. There is a gash on the victim's right hand. No other external injuries were detected." *I looked back at Hina's corpse and shut my eyes tightly.* No going back now, Akemi. You made this choice...Now you have to live with it. But...No matter what happens to you, at least...He's finally safe. *My thoughts were soon interrupted*

*Ding dong, Bing bong!*

Monokuma:Alright kiddos, that's enough investigating for one day! Time for the long-awaited Class Trial! 

Makoto:Well...It's now or never, I suppose...

Akemi:*I nodded and we all walked onto the elevator*

*Monokuma File #3*- "The victim is Aoi Asahina, the Ultimate Swimmer. The Estimated time of Death is 3:00 a.m. The victim sustained two stab wounds, but the fatal wound was the stab to her chest. There is a gash on the victim's right hand. No other external injuries were detected."

*Knife in Hina's Corpse*- The knife found inside Hina's body. There is fresh blood from Hina's body up to the handle, but dried blood on the top. The dried blood is several days old.

*Taka's Account*- Akemi met with Taka last night before the murder occurred. According to Taka, they were together all night.

*Sakura's Account*-Hina had received a note and went to meet with someone at 2:30 the night of her death. She only told Sakura about this meeting. And Sakura only told Makoto about this during the investigation.

*Akemi's Account*- Akemi had a pocketknife she used for self-defense. It was in her room, kept inside her desk drawer.

*Akemi's Pocketknife*- Akemi's pocketknife. She left it in her drawer, but the morning of the murder, it went missing. Where could it have gone?

*Hina's Note*-"Come meet with me in the Physics lab on the third floor. There's something I need to talk to you about in private. Tell no one else of this meeting, and come alone." There is no signature on the bottom of the note, but it's written in neat cursive.

*Wound on Hina's Right Hand*- Before her death, Hina sustained a wound to the palm of her right hand. According to Kyoko's examination, it was a self-defense wound.

*Monokuma's Murder Motive*-Last night, Monokuma gave Makoto and the others separate murder motives. It is unknown if this motive played a part in Hina's murder or not.

*Monokuma's Account*-While he was watching the cameras, Monokuma saw Akemi leaving Taka's room.

-Courtroom-

Monokuma:Now then...Who killed Aoi Asahina? Time to debate!

Akemi:Well we know one thing's for sure...She was stabbed to death.

Kyoko:Yes. One to the chest, and one to the stomach. The stab to the heart was the fatal blow, but the one to the stomach was inflicted first. I got a closer look at the corpse, so there's no doubt about it.

Makoto:*makes a note of this for future reference* Okay, so we know what killed her. Now what?

Byakuya:Now we talk about the murder weapon.

Akemi: Wh-What good will that do?! It could be a red herring for all we know!

Makoto:Akemi, we don't know that for sure. We need to think this through if we're going to find Hina's killer.

Sakura:I agree. Perhaps talking about the murder weapon will lead us to the culprit.

Akemi:...F-Fine.

-Nonstop Debate:Start!-

Byakuya:The murder weapon that killed Hina...is vital to this case.

Kyoko:Judging from the circumference of the wound...it was a knife. The wound was a clean one too. No serrated or jagged edges anywhere.

Sakura:Which would mean it was a smooth blade. One that wasn't worn out or weathered down.

Byakuya:But does such a blade even exist?

Akemi:No...I've checked everywhere accessible to us and....There are no knives like that around.

*Knife in Hina's Corpse*

Makoto:No, that's wrong!

-Break!-

Makoto:...Akemi, weren't you paying attention? There was a knife like at the scene. Specifically, the one stuck in Hina's body!

Akemi:The knife....in Hina's body?

Celeste:Ah, yes. The one sticking out of her stomach. *glares at Akemi* Did you really miss something so obvious?

Akemi:...*I looked down* It's not that I missed it. I just....didn't want to see it.

Makoto:So we know for a fact that knife is what killed Hina.

Byakuya:The question is...When and how did the killer obtain that knife?

Makoto:Good question...

Toko:Th-Th-Th-Then...I-It's impossible!!!

Hiro:Hate to admit it, but she's right. There's no way for the killer to obtain the knife.

Kyoko:...What if the killer didn't have to?

Makoto:Huh? Wait Kyoko....What are you saying?

Kyoko:I'm saying....What if the killer had the knife with them the whole time? Wouldn't that make the impossible possible?

Byakuya:I...suppose you're right.

Sakura:But would that even be possible?

Akemi:She's right. The only blades at this school are the knives in the kitchen and Genocide Jill's scissors.

Byakuya:Well, Toko? What say you?

Toko:Achoo!

Genocide Jill:Kyahahaha! Sorry! I ain't the culprit this time either! I only kill adorable little men, remember, Master?

Byakuya:...Shut up. That's all we needed to know.

Genocide Jill:Got it! Shutting up now! *smiles*

Hiro:Then if Genocide Jill didn't do it, it's gotta be the kitchen knives!

Makoto:That can't be it either. Because....the kitchen knives don't match Hina's wound.

Kyoko:Exactly. The only kitchen knives left after what Sayaka pulled are the ones with serrated edges. But we've already said Hina's wound contained no such edge wounds. So that rules the kitchen knives out.

Akemi:Then...if it wasn't Genocide Jill's scissors....and it wasn't the knives from the kitchen....what could it have been?

Makoto:...I can think of one possibility. The knife we found at the scene must be....

Makoto:I've got it! It was Akemi's pocketknife!

Akemi:*I gasped* My...?!

Makoto:You told me that your pocketknife went missing the morning of the murder. Right? Then that must be what the killer used!

Sakura:But... Akemi's knife was in her room. How could the killer have retrieved it?

Makoto:That's....a good question.

Akemi:Plus, I always keep my room locked. So there's no way the killer could've taken it.

Celeste:Then surely, it is impossible.

Kyoko:*smiles confidently* No. It's not impossible. Remember what I said before? The killer didn't need to do any of that. *turns to Makoto* As long as you focus on those details, the killer is obvious. You already know who did it.

Hiro:You do?!

Sakura:Then tell us, Makoto...Who killed Hina?

Akemi:*I closed my eyes and smiled slightly* ... *I see....Not bad, Kyoko. You managed to figure it out...Now... it's all up to Makoto to end this!*

((Makoto's POV))

Makoto:*Kyoko's words ran through my mind over and over again.* If the killer didn't need to take the knife from elsewhere, and they had it with them all along... *I gasped* Wait, then that means...! No, it can't be! Why would they-?! *I shook that thought from my mind* It doesn't matter...I have to end this! *I turned to everyone else* The killer....The killer is...! *You have to say it, Makoto. No matter how hard it is to suspect your friends... you have to reveal the truth!* Hina's killer is... Akemi Minako!!!!

Akemi:...

Sakura:What?!

Hiro: You're saying... Akemi's the killer?!

Makoto:*I nodded* That's exactly what I'm saying, Hiro.

Byakuya:Well, Akemi? Do you have any objections to Makoto's accusations?

Akemi:...*has her head down* Makoto....Makoto is r-

Taka:*slams his hands on the podium* No, that's wrong! Akemi....Akemi wouldn't do such a horrible thing!

Byakuya:*scowls at Taka* Isn't that exactly what you said about Mondo in the last trial? Obviously you haven't learned your lesson.

Taka:*in tears* I don't care! I love her! And....I believe she would never do something so horrible!!!!

Akemi:T-Taka....

Taka:Don't worry, Akemi! I'll prove your innocence! Right here, right now!!!

Makoto:*Taka refuses to believe Akemi is the killer. Then...I have no choice but to show him that evidence!*

Taka: Akemi's not the killer!

Byakuya:We've already proven the knife that killed Hina....was Akemi's pocketknife.

Taka:That...That doesn't matter! Anyone could have taken it!

Kyoko: We've already proven that to be impossible. Akemi even said herself....That her pocketknife was in her desk drawer and she keeps her room locked. The only person who could've taken the pocketknife from her room....was Akemi herself.

Taka:No, you're wrong! Because....Because...! Because Akemi has an alibi!

Sakura:Then tell us this alibi.

Taka:Last night, before Hina's murder occurred... Akemi met up with me. We were talking and fell asleep together. In other words... Akemi and I were together the entire night!!!!

*Monokuma's Account*

Makoto:No, that's wrong!

-Break!-

Makoto:Taka, you may not have known it because you were asleep but...Last night, Monokuma saw Akemi.

Monokuma:Yep yep! True as true can be! Right as rain! Hit the nail on the head! I saw her on the cameras! She was leaving her boyfriend's room!

Taka: Wh-What?! *eyes widen*

Akemi:...*shuts her eyes tightly*

Hiro:For serious?!

Monokuma:Gimme a break! I wouldn't lie about something so serious!

Kyoko:So you saw her. What time did this take place?

Monokuma:According to the time stamp on the camera, it was.... Exactly 2:10 in the morning!

Sakura:2:10?! Then....Akemi could've committed the murder!

Celeste:It certainly seems plausible.

Kyoko:It's more than plausible. It's a fact. Recall the note we found on Hina, and you'll get the answer you need. The culprit asked her to meet in the Physics lab. And since you left Taka's room, that means you could've very well met with her!

Taka:You've got to be kidding me!!! You forget, there's no signature on it! So Akemi couldn't have wrote it!!!

Kyoko:True, there wasn't a signature...But, there's another clue that proves it!

Akemi:...Let's just stop this. We've already lost a friend...Do you truly want to convict an innocent one? Taka's right. I'm not the killer! And putting the fact that my pocketknife killed Hina aside...You have no proof I'm the one who killed her!!!

Makoto:*No, she's wrong. Hina's note must hold something to shoot down Akemi's contradictions!!!*

-Nonstop Debate:Start!-

Akemi:Yes...The knife found in Hina's body is mine. And yes, I did leave Taka's room. But...It was only to use the restroom! I was only gone for a couple minutes! That doesn't mean I'm the killer!

Kyoko:True, but as I said...Within the evidence, there's hidden proof.

Akemi:Hidden proof? Don't make me laugh! Hina died at 3:00 in the morning. And I left Taka's room at 2:10.

Taka:Exactly!

Akemi:So there's no way I could've killed Hina...If someone met her at 2:30!!!!

*Sakura's account*

Makoto:No, that's wrong!

Makoto:Akemi...You just made a fatal slip-up. We all agreed that Hina met with someone, that's true. But we....never said anything about the time!

Akemi:Ngh!!!

Makoto: So how could you have possibly known the time?!

Akemi:I...I-I-I-I-I-!!!! I heard about it! Yeah that's right!

Makoto:That can't be it either. Because the only ones who knew about what time Hina met with someone...Were Sakura, who she met with prior to the murder, me, who Sakura told about it during the Investigation...And the murderer.

Byakuya:Sakura, did you tell anyone else about the meeting's time?

Sakura:No. I only told Makoto.

Akemi:...Ngh!

Kyoko:Now then, I think its time to end this. Makoto, would you do the honors?

Makoto:*I nodded* Gladly. *I opened my mouth to speak, but Monokuma beat me to it*

Monokuma:Nope sorry! No can do! This chapter's gone on long enough! Wouldn't want to bore our readers to death now would we? No summary this time! Let's just move on to the main event!

Taka:Don't do this!!!!

Monokuma:That's enough out of you, Mr. Ishimaru! It's time to vote! Pull the switch and save your necks!!!

Taka:PLEASE DON'T!!!!!!!! *breaks down in sobs*

Akemi:Taka....It's okay. It's... It's time to put an end to this trial.

Byakuya:So you're admitting to it.

Akemi:*nods* Well done, Makoto. You figured it out. That's right. I...I did it. *sobs heavily* I'm the villain...who murdered Hina!!! So please... go ahead...and vote for me. I deserve it.

Taka:Akemi, no!!!

*The votes come back as a majority for Akemi*

((Akemi's POV))

Akemi:*I smiled sadly and tears rolled down my face as the results were announced*

Monokuma: Absolutely right! The villain who murdered Aoi Asahina, the Ultimate Swimmer....was Akemi Minako!!!

Akemi:...So you all voted correctly. I'm glad.

Monokuma: Actually, Ms. Minako! It wasn't unanimous! Apparently, since he couldn't bear to lose his lover...Kiyotaka voted for himself yet again!

Taka:*sobs loudly*

Akemi:Taka...I'm sorry.

Taka:*chokes out words through his sobs* I...I don't... understand...Why? Why would you...do this? TELL ME WHY!!!!

Akemi:...

Makoto:I want to know too, Akemi. So please...tell us.

Akemi:...Very well. It all started last night. After I got my motive from Monokuma.

Kyoko:I had a feeling that had something to do with it. So what was it? Your motive, I mean.

Akemi:...When I opened my envelope, it said..."Commit a murder before 24 hours is up...Or the person most precious to you in this Killing Game will die!"

Makoto:The...The person most precious to you?

Akemi:*I nodded* Yes. When I read that motive, I knew...I knew that Monokuma...was going to kill him if I didn't.

Byakuya: Him? Who are you talking about! Stop spewing riddles and tell us, idiot!

Akemi:...Taka.

Makoto:Taka?!

Akemi:Yes. The reason I had to kill Hina...was because Monokuma...would've killed Taka if I didn't. So I moved forward with the plan. I sent the note to Hina. I met with Taka and waited until he fell asleep, so I would have an alibi. And at 2:00, I made my way to the Physics Lab Equipment Room. I got there around 2:30 due to the detour I had to make to get my pocketknife from my room. Hina was already waiting for me. We talked for a while, but then she said she was tired and wanted to rest. And...when she had her back turned...I stabbed her in the stomach. She fell. Then I tried to attack her again. This time she fought back. And that's where the gash on her right hand came from. But doing that left her chest wide open. So from there, I dealt the final blow. I cried and apologized several times. But by that time, Hina was bleeding out and her life was fading. She probably couldn't hear me tell her my reasoning. So there you have it. That was my motive.

Makoto:So...You didn't kill Hina to escape or kill us all...You were just...

Taka:P-Protecting...me?!

Akemi:..I know that's no excuse. I did a horrible deed. And now I must atone for it. *I walked up to the black-and-white bear* Okay, Monokuma. I'm ready. Let's just get it over with.

Monokuma:Of course! It's time for the spine-tingling punishment everyone's been waiting for!!!

Taka:Wait, no! No, I won't let you die! Not like this! *he grabbed onto my hand, gripping it tightly as he put me behind him*

Akemi:*My eyes widened* T-Taka?! What are you doing?!

Taka:You risked your life to save me...and now I'm doing the same for you!!!! I won't let Monokuma take you away from me!!! *he spread his arms protectively, doing his best to shield me from Monokuma*

Monokuma:Why you! Punishment Time is sacred! I won't let you interfere!!! Unless, of course, you're thinking of breaking the rules and defying your Headmaster? *bares his claws at Taka threateningly*

Taka:If it means saving the one I love, then yes! I won't let you do this to her!

Akemi:No, don't! I'm the one who killed Hina, so I alone shall be punished! That's what the rules say! Besides, I fulfilled your conditions stated in the motive. If you go back on your word and even ATTEMPT to hurt Taka...Gungnir Spear punishment be damned. I won't hesitate to attack you!

Monokuma:*growls angrily then nods* Fine fine. You're right. I have to abide by my own rules. *he smirks evilly, laughing as he did so* So let's get this Punishment Time underway!

Taka:Akemi, no!!!*gets on his knees and sobs heavily* Monokuma, please! I'm begging you, don't do this!

Akemi:Taka, it's okay. I don't care if I die. As long as you're safe...that's all that matters to me.

Monokuma:Now then! I've prepared a very special Punishment...For Akemi Minako, the Ultimate Singer!

Taka: DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE!!!!!!!

Akemi:*I walked up to him and kissed him one last time. When I pulled away, I smiled* Taka...I love you. And...I'll always be watching over you. So be strong, okay?

Taka:A-Akemi, no...! Please don't go! I...I need you! Please, don't leave me!

Monokuma: Let's give it everything we've got! It's...PUNISHMENT TIME!!!!

Taka:I CAN'T LOSE YOU TOO!!!! *he sobbed and held me close*

Akemi:*I hugged him back just as tightly, and sobbed, unable to hold back my tears any longer* I...I love you...I love you so much..!

*We stayed like that for a long time, neither of us wanting to let go. Until...*

Monokuma:Aww, how precious! Who would dare break up such a loving and caring relationship? *smirks* I would!

Akemi:*In a swift movement, he wrenched Taka and I apart and dragged me off to my punishment*

Taka:NO! AKEMI!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monokuma:*raises his gavel and bangs it down on his red button*

-Game Over: Akemi has been found guilty! Time for her Punishment!-

Akemi Minako's Curtain Call

*Akemi is standing on a stage with a metal collar attached to a chain around her neck. In the audience are several Monokumas. A microphone drops into Akemi's hand. On a karaoke screen in front of her are the words "Sing for your life"! Suddenly, a Monokuma appears onstage beside Akemi and the signing competition starts! At first, Akemi is in the lead, but suddenly, she feels someone tugging at the chain attached to her neck. She looks up and sees what looks like Hina's ghost. Akemi cries and apologizes multiple times, trying to explain her reasoning to Hina. But Hina's ghost keeps pulling the chain, choking Akemi more and causing her to miss several notes on her song. Until finally, the screen in front of Akemi flashes with a skull and crossbones with the words "Loser = Death" underneath it. A trap door opens beneath Akemi and she falls out of her neck chain and onto several sharp music notes, impaling her body with them. ((Taka's POV))

Taka:*I sobbed heavily as the execution ended. Akemi Minako, the Ultimate Singer, the love of my life who's smile always kept me going...Was now dead. Executed at Monokuma's hands. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't stop sobbing.*

Monokuma:Yahoo! EXTREEEEME!!!! That was the best execution by far!!! Now I have Akemi Pancakes to go with my Mondo Butter!!!! Ahahahahaha!!!!!

Taka:*Monokuma's words angered me greatly.* URAAAAAAAAH!!!!!! *Before anyone could stop me, I ran up to where he stood and punched him as hard as I could manage until I was satisfied. Taka:*I gasped as the Monokuma I hit before disappeared, and in its place...Stood a fully operational one*

Monokuma:Now then, Mr. Ishimaru.... IT'S TIME FOR YOUR PUNISHMENT!

Taka:*Monokuma snapped his fingers, and suddenly...I felt severe pain. This pain coursed through my body several times. I looked down and saw the spears that killed Junko before impaled throughout my body. I coughed up blood and my vision began to blur* D-Damn....you! *Monokuma removed the spears and I fell to the ground, blood pouring out of my body. In that moment, Makoto ran up to me*

Makoto:Taka!!! Just hold on!!! Y-You're gonna be alright!!!

Taka:*I shook my head, unable to speak from the blood bubbling up in my mouth. After what I saw happen to Junko, I knew I wasn't going to make it. I coughed up the remnants of blood in my mouth, and looked up at the ceiling, seeing Akemi's smiling face* Akemi...Don't worry...I'll...be....with...you...soon... *I closed my eyes and everything around me went dark*

Taka:*I ran straight into Akemi's arms as I saw her. I gasped as I felt something wet hit my shoulder. She was crying.* Akemi...

Akemi:Why...did you do that?! I...I wanted you to live!!!

Taka:*I held her tighter* I know that, but...I couldn't just allow Monokuma to insult your memory like that! Plus...*I touched her face gently* I'm out of the Killing Game and... I get to see you again. That's all that matters to me. Now we can be together, and nothing can tear us apart.

Akemi:*smiles through her tears* Oh, Taka... I missed you so much! *sobs heavily into his shirt*

Taka:*I wiped away her tears before hugging her again.* Shh...It's okay now. We're back where we were meant to be...In each other's arms. That'll never change. No matter what.

Akemi:*smiles and snuggles closer to me*

Taka:*I smiled. It was over. The despair we'd felt after losing Mondo, and the pain Akemi went through to save my life....Was no over. Now Akemi and I could be together, forever. With no regrets. I closed my eyes and held onto my everything as tightly as I could. And this time...no one would ever tear us apart.*
