A/N: With the threat of Hurricane Joaquin about to hit the East Coast and the immense rain that my college city has gotten so far (doesn't help that we're below sea level), my classes have subsequently been cancelled. So after two weeks, here's another part. Enjoy.

Ellie

I remember waking up from my dreams with the delectable smell of Old Spice and feeling comfortable warmth. My eyes opened to a smile and bright green eyes staring intently at me.

"Well hello there, had a nice nap?" He asked me

"Yeah, it was nice. What's on tv?" I asked, lazily flipping over to lay on his chest

"Just reruns of Scrubs. Hey listen, Brandi and Josh are having a cookout today and I was wondering if you'd want to go with me?"

"Sure. When is it?"

"It's already started."

"I'll get dressed."

"I'll be here when you're done."

Once I came out from the bathroom fully dressed, Leo cut off the television and grabbed the car keys. I opened the hotel door and we both walked outside towards the car.

"This couldn't have came at a better time because I am starving." I said

"Me too. It's like we didn't even eat lunch."

"This is what I get for being pregnant." I teased

"You have the best excuse though: You're eating for two." He smiled, rubbing my stomach

I kissed his cheek and rubbed the stubble on his face.

"You need to shave."

"No can do, I'm not shaving until the baby is born."

"You are going to look like a mountain man." I laughed

"So be it. Speaking of the baby, we're gonna have to make you a doctor's appointment so we can see how everything is doing and also get you some prenatal vitamins. And also book some lamaze classes and parenting classes too so we know some basics."

I was so proud to be able to call him the father of my child.

"Also, we gotta pick out a name and buy those 'what to expect when you're expecting' books."

"Leo, take a breather. We have time, I'm only a month at the most. We got 8 more, trust me."

"I know, but I want to have things in advance," He said excitedly

I watched him drone on and on about the small stuff that had to be done, but to him it was like the biggest thing in the world. It filled me with so much love to see the love in his own eyes for a baby that wasn't even here yet. I was so proud to be with him.

 "...We have to buy clothing and a crib and toys and some classical music so the baby will be smart an-"

I smiled slowly and started walking closer to him, he didn't even notice. I kissed him and he immediately quieted, melting into the embrace.

"Leo, we're gonna be fine. Now come on, let's go to this cookout before they eat all of the food. You know how Evan and Jack are bottomless pits." I teased

"You're right." He smirked

"Oh, and I'm driving. Keys please." I requested

He gave me a weary look and hesitantly passed them to me.

"Oh relax, I won't damage your precious car."

"Forget the car, I'm worried about the steering wheel and your unprotected belly. We're staying in the slow lane the whole way up."

"Fine, stop worrying so much." I laughed as we got into the car

Slow lane my ass!

"Ellie, slow down!" Leo yelled, hanging on for dear life.

I of course was in the far left lane and was going five above the speed limit.

"Leo, relax! I got this. Besides, I bet the baby is loving this." I laughed

"You are getting a spanking later!"

I gasped and laughed even harder.

"I wondered when Mr Dominant would make an appearance."

I got over into the middle lane because our exit was coming up soon.

"Trust me, he's been waiting in the shadows. Just wait until after you have the baby, you are so getting it."

I glanced over him and smirked.

"Hm, I bet I won't. "

"Just wait Els, just wait."

I got off on the exit and drove to Josh's house where the cookout was being held.

"Finally, I get to eat!" I exclaimed as I got out of the car and threw the keys back to Leo.

There was music playing and i heard excited chatter and laughter in the backyard, as well as smelled the delicious food I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into.

"Wait a minute."

I looked back to see Leo still standing by the car.

"But....food Leo! Food!" I whined

"Just come here, it'll only take a second." He chuckled

I walked over to him. 

"What's up?"

"Are we telling them about the baby?" He asked me

"I wasn't planning on it today...did you want to?"

"I do, but only if you're okay with it."

"Then yes, I think we should tell them."

"Great, come on let's go in."

We both got out and walked towards the front door, ringing the bell.

Josh and Brandi came to the door. Josh, with a half eaten hamburger in his hands and a portion of it in his mouth and Brandi who was all smiles.

"Hey guys, glad you could make it! Come on in."

Brandi and I hugged and Leo and Josh did that guy thing that resembled a hug. 

After all the greetings were out of the way, I followed them into the house and to the backyard where everyone else was. I saw Amber, Cairo, Jack and Evan, Oliver and Kate, and even Mrs. Calavry and James. Oh, this would be interesting.

"Looks who's here.." Josh announced

Everyone looked up from their conversations and towards us with huge smiles on their faces. Leo and I both waved and people started coming up to us, well, mostly me.

"Ellie! God, I am so happy to see you again!" Katie squealed, hugging me tightly

I hugged her back and stepped back with a smile.

"How have you been!? You're absolutely glowing and you look so pretty!" She said, talking fast as usual.

"I'm fine. How have you been? How's Ajax doing?" I smiled widely

"I've been doing good, and little man is growing up perfectly. Looks just like his dad."

I peeked over at Oliver and Ajax watching them play. Oliver was ticking him and he was laughing like no tomorrow. He was so adorable.

"He's precious." I smiled

"Ellie, we must catch up. We should go to lunch or something soon, have a girls day. Well....if that's not too weird for you."

"Why would it be weird?"

"Well you know....since you and my brother aren't together anymore."

"Well, I think you'll be happy to know that we got back together a little while ago."

"Really?!" She asked excitedly

"Yeah."

"Thank God! I'll be honest, no other girls are good for my brother like you are for him. Just please, no matter what happens, never give up on him. He was such a wreck when you left. I know it's not your fault but I'm just saying, he needs you even if he won't outright admit it."

"But he had so many girls when I left."

"Is that what he told you? Honey, he lied. All he did was go to work and come home and get drunk. I had to often intervene when he drank too much one night and called me crying."

"Why was he crying?" I asked her calmly

"He missed you that much. And knowing what he did killed him. He couldn't even look at other women, I think he just said that so when he actually saw you again it wouldn't hurt as much and maybe he thought it would help him move on. A couple of times he thought about flying to the DR to win you back"

"I'm here to stay this time. You won't have to worry about him."

"I'm so glad. I actually missed you Ellie, I'm glad you're back." She smiled, hugging me

"I'm glad to be back too."

Leo

As the night wore on and the party slowed down, I thought about it being the best time to do what I had been wanting to do since I could remember. I was nervous, and I had half a mind not to even go through with it, but I figured, it was now or never. 

I got everyone's attention and made sure that all eyes were on me.

"Can I have everyone's attention please?" I asked them

All talking ceased immediately and they looked at me.

"Els, you mind coming here for a second?" I asked her

She left the side of Oliver after handing him back Ajax who she was entertaining.

She walked over to me quickly and stood in front of me with a confused look on her face.

"What's up?" She asked

"I have an announcement to make and there is something I want to ask you."

Everyone gave us their undivided attention.

"Well Ellie and I are pregnant. We found out last week and we thought that we should share that with you guys."

The look of shock on everyone's faces was expected, but soon they were replaced by faces of pure happiness and adoration.

"Congratulations!" Amber, Brandi, Katie, and my mother exclaimed, running up to Ellie and hugging her

"But that's not my only announcement."

I walked towards Ellie and grabbed her hand, pulling her towards me and sunk to one knee.

"Ellie Ophelia Coleman, I come to you today a man in love and dedicated to our lives together on bended knee professing his everlasting love for you and our unborn child."

She stared at me quietly with the most shocked expression on her face

"What?" She whispered, quickly getting teary eyed.

"I want you to marry me Ellie. I've never loved anyone as much as I love you. The two years we were apart are the two years I wish never would've happened, because I would've done this much sooner."

I grabbed the ring box out of my pocket and opened it, showing her the heart shaped ring with her initials on one side and mine on the other.

"What do you say love, will you marry me?" I asked, swallowing nervous spit

If my heart was beating any faster in my chest I was afraid it would explode. I watched her face for any signs of what the answer might be, but her face was expressionless., all she had were tears streaming down her face. Oh no...this couldn't be good.

"Come with me." She said quickly, running into the house

Dazed, I got up and followed her.

"We'll be back in a second guys, go back to what you were doing." I yelled to the others before closing the patio door

I found her in Josh and Brandi's guest room, trying to catch her breath. I didn't want to cause her a panic attack.

Shit

"Ellie, look at me."

She barely could and I saw her eyes watering more.

"I can't breathe." She choked out in between breaths.

"Like we talked about, try calming yourself down, take deep breaths. Think of the ocean."

She sat on the floor and did just that and five minutes later, she could breathe again.

"Sorry about that." She sniffed, wiping her tears

"It's not your fault. Maybe I should've done this in private."

"It's okay. Are you sure you want me of all people to marry you?" She whimpered, wiping more tears from her eyes

I crouched down in front of her and took her face in my hands.

"Of course I do. Baby I can't think of anyone else I'd rather spend my life with than with you. No one has ever made me feel like you do. And no one has ever had my heart like you do. I'm yours forever and I just want you to know how much I love you."

"I know you love me. I know I love you "

"Then why can't you accept that I want to be with you huh?"

"What if one day you get tired of having a wife that has panic attacks and nightmares every night and day?"

"I won't. Ellie we're both psychologists, I know traumatic experiences take awhile to heal from. It's okay, as long as you get better that's all I care about."

"Really?" She sniffed

"Yes, really. Now what do you say? Will you marry me, or am I gonna have to go out there with my tail between my legs?"

"Of course I'll marry you." She said softly

"Really? You're not just saying that right?" I teased

"Yes really!" She bit back playfully, crying once again

"Stop crying, you know I hate it when you do." I said softly

"I'm just happy." She said sincerely

"I'm happy that you're happy. Here, let me put the ring on."

She held out her left hand with a smile and I slipped it on. It fit perfectly.

"Perfect fit." She smiled, staring at the ring in awe

"Indeed, Mrs Calavry."

She smiled silently and blushed.

"Come on, I bet everyone is wondering where we are."

I helped her up and put my arms around her shoulder, leading her back outside.

"Everything alright?" Josh asked us.

"Yep. Everyone, meet the future Mrs. Calavry."

Everyone clapped and for the next few minutes, congratulated us. My mom came up to us not too long later and embraced Ellie.

"Congratulations dear, welcome to the family!" She said happily

"Thank you Mrs Calavry."

"Ah ah, either call me Jennifer or mom if you prefer."

She smiled and nodded and my mom kissed me on the cheek, hugging me as well.

"Don't mess this up Leonardo, I really like Ellie." She whispered in my ear

"I won't mom, I promise. And please, don't call me Leonardo. It sounds so dorky." I playfully wined

She laughed and pinched my cheeks knowing I hated when she did that.

"Love you ducky, I'll see you later alright? James and I have to get going."

"Hold on mom....are you and James a thing now?"

"My lips are sealed sweetheart, I'll see you soon. I expect you and Ellie over for dinner next Sunday." She said quickly, starting to walk away.

"We'll be there mom."

She kissed my cheek once more and then left.

"So, Leonardo, why did you never tell me that was your full name? You know, it does fit, you are a painter after all."

"Ellie, I'm warning you I will fight you here and now if you call me that."

"Okay I'm sorry....Leonardo." She smirked

"Just wait Els, oh do I have plans for you."

Music started to play and I grabbed her by the hand.

"But first we'll dance and enjoy our engagement party."

"You planned this?" She asked

"Of course I did."

"Wow. What if I would've said no?"

"No one would be the wiser. I only told Josh about it anyway."

I spun her around and pulled her towards me.

"You are so slick." She smiled quietly

"I know."

"I love you." She smiled

"And I love you."

"I've always been yours." She said quietly

I smiled and grabbed her hand, pulling her towards me and kissing her softly, I didn't care who saw.
