"The magician with powerful arts, calls upon his friend with magic might to match his own in order to protect, Seek Your Mate!" Kurai stated

4 cards flew out of Kurai's drop zone and returned to the deck then a light surrounded his deck and scanned through it, then a card flew out from the deck.

"The magician of forbidden arts and black magic unite as one to protect all that is mystical, Magician of Black Magic, Shada, Legion!" Kurai announced

A second brown haired man wearing a dark purple wizard cloak with mystic symbols etched across the outfit and holding a large wooden staff with a large green orb at the top appeared by the black haired males side as the crossed weapons preparing for battle.

"By the end of this battle...you'll be out of my life for good Kiniro!" Kurai exclaimed

"Now I use my vanguards legion skill" Kurai said with a grim tone as he turned two cards face down from the damage zone "Your partner Clockwork and your Master Dragon will fall under the curse of my hex" he continued as purple chains had risen from the ground beneath the timelord and white dragon as they were ensnared

'This is his decks strategy. I better be careful' Kiniro thought as he watched Kurai prepare for his assault "My Kamlocks effect, he moves to the soul and your Hourgal shall be ensnared as well" Kurai explained as the same thing as before would happen to the small dog weighing it down

"Now then time to show you my fury. Shada, Tsukikage, Legion attack! (20000)" Kurai declared "I guard with Legacy Hero Healer, Doreen and Legacy Hero, Fast Forward Swordsman! (31000)" Kiniro countered as he placed down his guardians

"Tch, seems you had a decent defence left but it won't stop me. Twin Drive (Black Magic Dracokid - Critical Trigger) A critical, the effects will go to Shada. My second check (Enchantment Warlock, Drake - No Trigger)" Kurai revealed

"I survived his attack" Kiniro celebrated with a grin as this would remind Kurai of their first fight making him grip his fist "You're not through this yet! Shada attacks and with his effect since one of your units is hexed he gets 3000! (17000)" Kurai declared

"I guard that with Legacy Hero, Rewind Tiger! (21000)" Kiniro countered

"I'll...end my turn there" Kurai stated

"It's my turn Kurai! Stand and draw!" Kiniro exclaimed as he drew his card and he glanced to it smiling as he looked back to Kurai "Time for me to follow up with my bond" he said referring to the legion as he hovered his hand over Clockworks card

"The master of time from the far future, calls on his former self to bring about peace, Seek the Mate!"

4 cards flew out of Kiniro's drop zone and returned to the deck then a light surrounded his deck and scanned through it, then a card flew out from the deck.

"The Master of the present and future band together to fix anomalies throughout time, Present Generation Legacy Hero, Chronic Clockwork, Legion!"

A second blond haired man wearing light blue Graphene armour with clocks engraved in it, a hat with an orb on it, holding a great sword made of time energy and a wrist device on his left arm stood beside the older and wiser version of himself as they crossed their weapons ready to fight.

"I promise you Kurai..I'm going to win this and show you that you aren't alone" Kiniro suddenly said as he kept his smile as Kurai only looked down "I use Hourgal's skill!" he continued as the small dog broke from the chains turning into a light as it went into Clockworks armour "My vanguard gets a new effect" he finished then hovering a hand over Master Dragon

"Now Master Dragon's skill. I counter blast and place a card from my hand to the bottom of the deck to reveal the top card (Chronic Sage, Sean) since he's higher than grade 1 I add him to my hand and Master Dragon gets 9000 power (18000)! Since a card went to my deck Hourgal's given skill is triggered giving Clockwork 2000 (22000)" Kiniro said

"Now I call Chronic Sage, Sean! (9000) and Legacy Hero Beast, Temporal Wolf! (7000) Now Master Clockwork and Chronic Clockwork! Legion attack! With Master Clockwork's skill they get 3000 power! (25000)" Kiniro declared

"I guard with Chimera and Black Magic Dracokid! (31000)" Kurai countered

"Alright my twin drive! (Legacy Hero Data Drone - Draw Trigger) A draw trigger, the power goes to Sean and I draw. Second check (Present Generation Legacy Hero, Chronic Clockwork - No Trigger)" Kiniro revealed

"Now I attack with Sean, his effect I soul blast to give him 4000 power! (18000)" he continued resting his card

"I won't guard that damage check (Magician Guardian Dragon - No Trigger)" Kurai decided as he revealed the top card of his deck placing it in the damage zone

The black haired male had flapped his silver cloak in the wind as he channeled a blue and gold energy firing it at the males in mystic sage-like attire causing a small explosion that knocked the two off their feet as both would rise back up slowly.

"Finally Master Dragon attacks with a boost from Wolf! (25000)" Kiniro declared

"The magic circles of ancients combine to form the ultimate shield! I summon the powers of the dark arts! Magic Circle Summoner, Lester! Quintet Wall! (Magician of Forbidden Arts, Mystic Tsukikage (5000), Young Magician, Quince x2 (5000 x2), Black Magic Dracokid (10000), Mystic Beast, Fenrir (5000))" Kurai countered

"That will end my turn" Kiniro said with a grin

"Your Master Dragon and Clockwork's hex is trigger. What will you do?" Kurai questioned

"I'm sorry Master Dragon, Clockwork" Kiniro said but nodded to his dragon getting one in return as Master Dragon turned into dust and Clockwork kneeled as the chains tightened around him (6000)

"This turn I will end you Kiniro. You don't need to get involved with me ever again. I stand and draw!" Kurai declared as Kiniro would smile a bit as the response seemed to remind him of something "Why are you smiling!?" he said but Kiniro didn't respond as he grit his teeth

"I call Forbidden Arts Prodigy, Kadabra, Trickster Mage, Presto and Enchantment Warlock, Drake! (9000) (7000) (7000)" he continued

A man with bright blond hair wearing a blood red cloak, holding a scroll with chains wrapped around it and a rune in his right eye, a teen wearing a blue top hat with a white ribbon around it, a purple tuxedo with a red tie, holding a black and white wand and a wearing a question mark mask that covers his whole face and another grey haired man wearing wizards robe that covers his entire body, he has a scroll floating above his hand open with information on enchanting weapons and equipment and holding a potion in his other hand had appeared from pillars of purple light.

"Now I use Presto's skill! I soul blast and counter charge 2 cards. Next I use Drake's skill from the soul! I send it to the drop zone to give your Temporal Wolf Hex! I follow up with Tsukikage's skill! I counter blast 2 to give Clockwork and Sean Hex!" Kurai declared as three lots of chains had wrapped around all of Kiniro's units as they were constricted

Even as his units were restrained Kiniro seemed to smile which continued to irritate Kurai. "Tsukikage gets an extra critical since you have 3 units that are Hexed! Plus Kadabra's skill makes him get 3000 power and a new skill as long as you have a hexed unit! (12000) Tsukikage, Shada! Legion attack! (20000)" Kurai declared his composure breaking more and more

"I nullify it with Legacy Hero Protector, Historic Pterodactyl" Kiniro countered as he discarded a card

'I just need to get a critical...if I can get a critical it will finally be over' Kurai thought as he looked to his deck hovering his hand over it then looking back to Kiniro to see his smile again as it caused a wave of memories to wash over him "Twin drive! (Forbidden Arts Prodigy, Kadabra - No Trigger) Nothing there...the second" As Kurai grabbed the second card his hand shakes a bit as he then turns the card and his eyes would be shadowed by his hair "Mystic Tsukikage...no trigger" he revealed

Kiniro sighed in relief as he laughed a bit but this caused Kurai to snap again. "Cut it out! Why are you so happy!? Presto, Shada! (21000)" Kurai shouted "No guard, the damage check (Knight of the Leap Year, Herman - No trigger)" Kiniro revealed not answering the question

The male mage with a staff containing a green orb had gathered magical energy firing it at the two blond haired males causing them harm.

"Answer me Kiniro! (21000)" Kurai shouted again as he rested Kadabra and Drake "I won't guard that (Legacy Hero, Data Drone - Draw Trigger) power to vanguard and I draw" Kiniro responded again placing the card into the damage zone

The blond haired male with the blood red cloak had muttered some words as the chains around his scroll had moved and wrapped themselves around the timelord constraining him even further

"I don't understand...I was sure to cut my ties with you so why...why...why can you smile now!?" Kurai asks loudly in confusion.

Kiniro hearing the question again kept his smile as he tilted his head to the side "Because even with all that is at stake..I'm just glad to be able to fight you like this Shade, like the day we met" he answered as Kurai hearing that had his eyes widen from shock the memories he had flashing before coming back more vividly than before

"I...end my turn and Clockwork is freed from last turns effects (11000)" he said not meeting Kiniro's gaze as the chains from earlier around Clockwork disappeared as he stood tall

"It's my turn Shade. Stand and draw!" Kiniro said putting all his feelings into it as he smiled as he looked to the card

"You won't have to go alone anymore Shade. I'm here to help you so we can go back home and fight again" Kiniro said as Kurai shakes his head "No! I won't let you get involved..his power is not like before I won't let anything happen" Kurai said and realising what he said he grips his hand

"It's just like I thought" Kiniro said with a relieved smile as he thought about his conversation with everyone just before arriving

"I call Mighty Legacy Hero, Oda Nobunaga! (9000)" he declared

A man with long black hair tied at the back to stick up and a black goatee, wearing a long purple jacket that is red inside, black samurai armour on his arm, legs and body with a white robe underneath, an advanced watch and two swords tied around the waist appeared beside the two blonde haired timelords.

"Now I use Clockwork's Legion skill! I counter blast, persona blast and send one card to the bottom of the deck giving Clockwork 10000 power and 1 critical!" he declared as Kurai looked to his powered up units in shock. Chronic Clockwork, Master Clockwork! Legion attack! Master Clockwork gives them 3000 power! (23000)" Kiniro declared

"Kadabra and Finnagus guard! I intercept with Shada! (26000)" Kurai countered 'As long as he doesn't get a trigger I can manage to survive the turn' he thought "My twin drive, the first (Knight of the Leap Year, Herman - No Trigger) second check (Legacy Hero, Rewind Tiger - Critical Trigger) a critical trigger! All effects go to Clockwork! (28000/2)" Kiniro revealed

"I can't lose..if I lose you'll be in danger" Kurai said as he gripped his hand looking down "I'll be fine Shade, because we can take him on together" Kiniro said with his smile as Kurai looked back to Kiniro

The two blonde haired males looked to the black haired male as the latter individual would nod as he clocked his eyes and the two timelords charged in and slashed the two mages as they fall to their knees.

"Damage check..(Wise Forbidden Arts Master, Alakazam - No Trigger, Magician of Black Magic, Shada - No Trigger)" Kurai revealed

As he placed the last card Kurai had seemed to have his body relax as he sighed a bit looking to Kiniro "You really got stronger, huh?" he said as Kiniro nodded still smiling

The damage zone cards began to emanate an aura as Kurai looked to the damage then back to him "Do it Kin, it's the only way to get out" he said using the nickname he used to use again causing Kiniro to smile "Judgement" Kiniro said

The cards in the damage zone formed a pillar of dark aura then the stone statues eyes start to glow along with the language on the wall, at that moment the statues mouths started to move and the words came out of the wall and tied themselves around Kurai and enveloped them in a purple aura with a magic circle on their chest.

"AHHH!" Kurai screamed out in pain as he falls to his knees and the field began to disappear as Kiniro helped him up "You okay Shade?" he asked as Kurai nodded slightly "I'll manage" he simply answered "I'm sorry for everything Kin but-"

All of a sudden everything started to shake as the two looked around in shock. "Is that an earthquake!?" Kiniro asked and Kurai could feel exactly what it was as he shook his head looking down towards the hall leading to Aichi's chamber "It's much worse than that.." Kurai mumbled

With that the Kiniro and Kurai fight is all done! I hope everyone enjoyed it and for those that might have picked up on things that might have been mistakes in this chapter and the previous, I apologise for said mistakes as that is all due to not having much interest in writing fight chapters for the old stages of the game and the clans I had made and changed since then.
