Ok so yes I know I just made a big deal about my final story but I had an idea and it was a pretty simple one to make, so I decided to do it.

That idea was a full remake of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Truth. It's by far my most outdated story and doesn't even really fit in with the other parts of the Shadow Saga. So I wanted to fix that.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past is a full remake of Shadows of the Truth that fixes the narrative and completely retools it.

I've spruced it up, added in tons of additional context and world building, and some fun bits of story that tie it into the sequels much nicer. To the point where I think reading the trilogy blind from start to finish would actually be a thematically cohesive piece.

I didn't change the plot too radically since it still has to fit in with the two sequels, however small parts of their stories were edited when I had to make large changes to fix massive inconsistencies. This was mainly just in One Last Night in Gamma Gate of Shadows.

The tale will be somewhat familiar but overall a much more cohesive narrative, and while I'll be unpublishing the original story, it'll still be available in a text document you can find at the start of Shadows of the Past.

This somewhat new adventure is the perfect way to start the Shadow Saga, so check out the cover and a summary of the story! The adventure will begin on September 16 and is fully content complete at the time of releasing this, so it'll be released every Friday until its completion! Enjoy!

A full remake of an almost six year old story and the beginning of the Shadow Saga trilogy.

Zax and Alpha are finally ready to join the Bolt Guild together. They race through their hometown to join but are met with their longtime rivals, Jet and Omega, signing up right after.

The Zangoose, Heatmor, Durant, and Seviper have to learn to get along and coexist in the Guild as they explore Malena and complete quests alongside other Guildmembers.

Many quests seem to come back to a mysterious group of Pokémon stealing native Pokémon from their homes. What do they want? Where do they come from? How will our heroes get to the bottom of this mystery?

With a tournament to prove their strength on the horizon and the brewing mystery, the two teams must work through their internal issues and the issues they have with each other if they want to have any chance at surviving what this island has to offer them.
