Here are my concepts for the Christmas card I did for art club, and the finished product! (Ahaha it took me so long to do this chapter...)

The deer was originally based on this

First sketches~ ✨

So, to start I experimented with an idea of them having alters for people to give offerings because they think they grant good fortune.

A terrible pine tree because I imagine they live in a pine forest in the arctic somewhere

Here I was experimenting with jewelry on their horns? And ears.

Christmas card concepts

Quick concept I did for my friends. I actually like the table a lot though <3

This is actually the very first sketch on a clay ornament I never got around to actually painting...

Then I started doing more detailed concept sketches ✨👯‍♀️ This one is a baby

This is the main reference I used for the previous sketches~ ✨

I started my Christmas card and WHOAH I liked this deer (yes, it's a female, but since these are made up blue deer, she has horns and you can't stop me 💅)

I added a baby but I inked the mom before drawing him so it's a little weird-

And then it's COLORED. I wish I could have done it digital since it looks low-key ugly but whatever 😭😂
