(3rd POV)

Y/n: Mom look it's where the Faunus live!

Mom: Hmmm... go bother the other kids Y/n. I'm very busy at the moment

Y/n's looked down at his feet. He didn't understand why they don't pay attention to him. All his mom was doing is working on her tan. He hasn't seen much of his father since the cruise started. The times he does see him, he is drinking at the bar.

Y/n and his family were on a cruise ship that his father helped build. They were given a free cruise from it. They were docking at Menagerie to refuel for the sail back to Vacuo.

Y/n: Can I  go explore Mom?

Mom: Didn't I tell you to bother someone else kid

Y/n could never remember a time his mom actually called him son and his dad was usually to drunk to remember Y/n's name.

Y/n ran down the ramp and looked around the dock. All kinds of Faunus were walking around and trading goods. The market was continued onto land and took up a good portion of the area.

He walked up to a stand selling grilled foods. A big puma Faunus was flipping all kinds of fish and fruits.

Y/n: Hello!

Puma Faunus: How ya doing kiddo? Would ya like something?

Y/n: Yes please!

The man stuck the fish and fruit on a wooden stick and handed it to Y/n. Y/n gave the man some Lien and continued down the market.

He talked to a lot of the Faunus working behind the stands and learned some things about Menagerie and Faunus. Most of the people were nice to Y/n, but a few would glare and snap at him.

Y/n understood why they did that. Since Y/n comes from a noble family he became well versed in history and It's no secret that Humans and Faunus don't get along very well.

Y/n saw other passengers starting to get back aboard the cruise ship. When Y/n tried to get back on a security guard stopped him.

Guard: Sorry kid can't let you back on without a pass

Y/n: Why not?

Guard: It's just the rules kid

Y/n saw his mom looking down at the people getting back on.

Y/n: Mom! Tell this guy I was on the boat!

She looked at him for a second, before turning her back on him and walking away.

Y/n: Mom!?

Guard: Please stop disrupting our guests. That woman obviously doesn't know you

Y/n tried to run past the security guard, but was grabbed by the arm and thrown to the ground.

All Y/n could do us watch as the ship leave the dock. His mom didn't even look back at him. He felt like his whole world just shattered. Even if his mom ignored him he still believed she loved him, but it was apparent how she feels.

Timeskip Night

Y/n stared up at the shattered moon. He wasn't sure what to do now. There was no use in crying about what happened. Nothing was going to change it.

Y/n was so captivated by the moon, he didn't hear the person coming from behind him. He yelped and fell down when he felt a hand on his shoulder.

???: I'm sorry... What's a boy like you doing out this late?

The person's figure was radiated by the moon's glow. Her yellow eyes, filled with concern. Y/n couldn't help staring at her natural beauty.

Y/n: S-Sorry... I was l-left here

???: Left?

Y/n: My... mother abandoned me... the ship wouldn't let me back on...

The woman standing in front of Y/n clenched her fists after hearing that. She understood humans can be cruel, but for a mother to abandon her own child.

???: I'm sorry to hear that... Do you have a place to stay?

Y/n: N-No...

???: Come with me then

Y/n hesitated for a second before he grabbed her outstretched hand. She helped him and started leading him back.

???: What's your name?

Y/n: Y/n L/n

Sienna: Well I'm Sienna Khan. It's nice to meet you Y/n

Y/n: Likewise

They soon arrived at a large building. The walls were red and a darker red carpet lead to a red and copper throne. Faunus wearing masks surrounded Y/n in an instant.

WF: Stop right there Human!

WF: Leader please step back!

Sienna: Stop this instant! He is a guest and is to be treated like one!

The grunts looked at each other, before stepping away from Y/n. They growled under their breath when Y/n passed them. The idea of treating a human with any kind of kindness repulsed them.

Y/n was was terrified. He didn't think Sienna would be part of the White Fang, let alone the current leader to the entire faction.

She sat on her thrown and patted her lap, signaling Y/n to join her. Y/n blushed lightly when he sat on her lap. He hasn't ever sat on his mother's lap.

Sienna: What is your opinion about the White Fang Y/n?

Y/n: What do you mean?

Sienna: What do you think about us? About what we do? What we've done?

Y/n: Oh... I don't think they are in the right... but they aren't in the wrong either... I understand why they do it

Sienna: Is that so...

Sienna started patting Y/n's head. She smiled down at the boy in her lap as he blushed from the pampering. He let out a long yawn, before rubbing his eyes.

Sienna: You must be tired

She carried the boy as he started to fall asleep. His head drooped down and landed in between her breast.

She smiled at Y/n's sleeping form and cuddle him closer to her. Her bed would have to suffice for the both of them.

Y/n subconsciously cuddled closer to Sienna and reviled in the warmth of her body.

Y/n: Mmm... goodnight momma...

Sienna: Goodnight kitten...
