Obi's POV -

"Obi!" , I heard a knight call up to me as I was sitting in my normal spot, high up in a tree. "What is it?", I said while looking down. "Sir, Prince Zen wishes to speak to you at once" he said getting impatient. I could see the tick mark on his forehead begin to grow as I acted like I didn't care. "Alright, alright I'm going" I said with a smirk while jumping down from the tree. The knight finally gave up and left, which just left me with why Master wanted to see all the sudden. As I started walking I could not get this one thing off my head... Zen and Shirayuki are to be married soon. I don't know why but whenever I think about it I get all depressed, but maybe that's all just in my head. Why does them getting married make me have so many emotions... Looking up I then realized I was right in front of Zens room. Turing the door knob I walked in with one hand behind my head, and a smirk. "So you wanted to see me Master?" I said. "Yes, Obi you know how I make you look after Shirayuki hear and there?", Zen said while he still was very focused on his papers in front of him. "Ya, what about it?" I said, but I don't really get what's he is going to say. "Well our wedding day is drawing near, and with that I'm afraid Shirayuki's safety will be in danger. Many people will want to get ride of her, especially people who disagree with a low ranking maiden taking the crown... I can't pinpoint who but I know some people to look out for. So with that said I want you to fully be Shirayuki's full protector now" Zen said looking piercing into my eyes. "If that's what you wish master, I will do my best to protect Shirayuki" I said. "Good, thank you Obi, I don't know what I would do without you" Zen said sighing with relief looking down back at his papers. "No problem Master", I said smirking. I wonder what else is bothering him... He seems kinda down. "Well you start tomorrow so report here at 7:00am, goodnight Obi", he said smiling. "Night Zen", I said walking out of the room. "WOW!!! *crash* opps..." I heard down the hall. Looking down I see that Shirayuki just tripped, fell, dropping all her books, and herbs. Rushing to her side I started helping her pick up her stuff. "Let me help you miss". "Oh thank you Obi", Shirayuki said with a warm smile on her face. Not realizing it we both reached out for the same book, causing our hands to touch. I could instantly feel her pull her hand away quickly, and looking up for one moment I could see a hint blush on her face. I then handed her the book as we both stood up. "No problem miss, well I'm going to bed so goodnight" I said smiling and walking away. "Wait, Obi... Can you walk me to my room", Shirauyki said looking down at her feet. I could feel my face heat up at her words. "Sure, anything for you", I said with my words shaking at amazement. "Thank you" she said mumbling. Walking to her room was quiet but once we finally got there she told me to tip toe so we wouldn't wake anyone else up. This I wasn't bad at but Shirayuki was terrible... I told her she was the one that will probably wake everyone else up. She just giggled, and as did I. We finally got to her room when all the sudden Shirayuki tripped over some books left at her front door causing her to fall right on top of me. My eyes were glued shut until I felt a pair of warm soft lips press against mine, that's when I opened to see Shirayuki accidentally kissing me. Gasping she quickly stood up with her face being completely red at the thought of what just happened. I could feel my face was also red at the thought. "I am so sorry, I didn't see the books and I tripped..." Cutting her off in mid sentence I said "Look I know it was an accident, nothing to worry about!! You really should be more careful miss, if master saw this he would probably flip" I said nervously giggling while rubbing that back of my head. I then stood up and extended my hand out to hers, she then took it standing up with my help. Her hands were ice cold which made me concerned as I let go. "Well goodnight Obi, and one again thank you" she said blushing. "No problem miss, goodnight" and with that said she went in her room. After that kiss I then knew I was in big trouble.
