An Eruption occurred in the river!! Assemble your troops now!!

Quick! Deploy them to the city! Evacuate the citizens! Set the city on fire! And exterminate the city!!

In a quick response to the Honkai Eruption that occurred in a city, Schicksal has deployed a special squad of Valkyries to exterminate the city.

The dropship hovered between the skyscrapers and dropped down 4 people. They landed on the ground with no parachute, just on their feet, and they are safe.

"Alright guys, let's get this done." - Theresa Apocalypse, who was in the dropship, also who is like the leader of the group said.

In the group, there are 3 girls, and one boy, looks young, with silvered hair. He wielded a sword that looked like none wielded by Valkyries. It looked more heavy and powerful, yet so simple that no one would've thought it's different from other blades at first sight.

The group walked into the city center, on the way they were greeted by several beasts but they're not a problem to Valkyries. But the deeper they go into the city, the more of these creatures crawl out from wrecked vehicles, buildings, holes on the ground,...

"Hey June!! That building looks good to set up a sniping spot!" - Theresa yelled as the group engaged with Honkai beasts. The girl with purple, short hair, has a sniper rifle on her back nodded to her. "Rebecca! Go with him! Continue your way into the city center!"

"Roger!"

The squad leader goes with the sniper, to cover her while she acts like a sniper from a distance. While the silver haired boy and the other Valkyrie girl went to the city center together.

"Hey! Slow down!"

The girl had trouble catching up with the boy, as his skills with his sword was on another level, even by the standards of Valkyries, he cut through all those who approached him as enemies so swiftly and gently, finishing them all in one strike, for those who are bigger in size, it required a several more cut, but that does not slow the boy down.

The Valkyrie ran in the way of blood and corpse pieces, behind the reaper in front of her very own eyes as she focused on catching up to him. Shortly after, they made it to the city center, or at least, outside of it. As they saw dozens of beasts, furiously lined up, forming a defense towards these warriors from Schicksal who had come here to burn them down.

"Alright... We could wait here." - Rebecca pulled out an axe and wielded it with one hand, while on the other hand, she took out a pistol. "Or do you prefer slaughtering them first?"

Rebecca looked over to the boy, he had already wiped his blade clean of Honkai blood. That would be him saying "agree".

"Let's go then, it's us doing the exterminating after all... Theresa should regroup with us soon after June is done." - Rebecca said as she charged forward with the boy. "Go all out, Nero!"

"Okay!" - The boy responded as he cut through the first defending line all by himself, they were easy to cut through, as the first line of defense was down, the second unorganized group charged towards the two attackers.

Rebecca used her one-handed axe to chop the beasts in pieces, quickly and forcefully, she took good care of those big ones and small ones alike. Meanwhile Nero clashes with a Templar-level beast, it has a tough shield on its right arm, allowing it to block Nero's attacks. On the other hand, it wields a long rapier like a pillar.

It thrusted the rapier, Nero blocked it with his blade, then he leaned to his left when the beast still hadn't stopped focusing on the rapier to let it pass, creating his own opportunity to take the beast's head. But this one was more clever than Nero expected, it swung the rapier to Nero, throwing him away, although he suffered no injury from it, but he has been separated from Rebecca, the Valkyrie who is still busy dealing with the other creatures.

Nero charged at it again, but this time with a proper strategy in his mind, the beast raised its shield to block its front, lower than its eyes for view as he expected. It also thrusted its spear many times in quick succession, preventing Nero from approaching it from the front, or at least slowing him down. But Nero's eyes and arms were quick enough, to block every thrust perfectly, also used the last thrust as a platform, to help him leap on top of the beast and strike the beast's head from above, where it's not protected.

The beast has fallen, its defeat made the other beasts in the area shudder, they slowly backed up as a whole, probably planning to charge at him at the same time, or waiting for another one to show up that might be able to deal with this fearsome warrior standing in front of them.

"Come at me." - Nero provoked them as he stuck his blade into the ground, then with the other hand, he pulled out a pistol and started to shoot at them. The terrified beasts broke their formation, some charged at the silver haired boy, while the others ran away.

But they were all killed, by spears falling from above, pierced through their bodies so casually, then Theresa landed in front of Nero.

"Took you long enough, big sis." - Nero said and he picked his blade up, he seemed excited seeing Theresa here.

Some of the enemies took this as their advantage for a surprise attack, they jumped at you and Theresa, who seem to be unprepared. But they got shot on the spot, all of them, at almost the same time.

"Nice shot there June." - Nero said.

"Worth the set up." - Theresa looked at the path ahead, it had been cleared to enter the city center.

"Theresa, I will be able to support you from afar as long as you're on the perimeter." - June contacted them.

"Alright."

Rebecca regrouped with them as she came back with blood all over her battlesuit, her axe, even her gun had blood dripping off.

"Seems like quite the mess you made there, Rebecca." - Theresa looked at her and said.

"Yes, they are many in numbers but weak in power... Seems like the Eruption only attracted the weak ones here." - Rebecca said, Nero lent her his handkerchief, she took it to wipe the blood off her face.

"A Minor Eruption then?" - June asked.

"Uhh... Maybe. But it's still better to clean the mess up, we don't want this city to become a Hive." - Theresa said.

"Then let's go?" - Rebecca said as she gave Nero his handkerchief back, it's dirty and stained with lots of blood, even some blood drops dripped from it. Nero had no other choice but to take it back and secretly throw it away, no way he's gonna put one in his pocket.

"It's an exterminate mission so... Let's go."

Cut to the next part, when they are back to the Schicksal's HQ, after they're done killing the Honkai beasts invading the area, and chase the remaining broken ones away.

"Good work crew, mission complete." - Theresa said as she stood in front of the other 3, they were about to depart at the airport after landing. "Go home and rest now, I'll handle the report."

The other two Valkyries said good-bye and went back to their place, but Nero followed Theresa all the way into the elevator which will take her to Amber's place.

"..."

"..."

The quiet atmosphere in the elevator where there's only the two of them is getting more awkward as each second passes by. Nero tried to break it by starting a conversation. "Uhm... These beasts are roaming around a lot these days, right sis?"

"Mmmm..." - Theresa mmming for a bit, then she responded to that question. "Yeah... Compared to back in my day... There are only one or two swarms like that every month."

It's so strange, seeing a little girl saying "back in my day" as if she was some kind of world war veteran, but the last time Nero asked something like this, he was put into a coma for several days thanks to Judah.

"Hmm... I see."

"You know... Nero, you don't have to follow me all the way back for a report. You could go to the cafeteria or go somewhere, rest while waiting for me." - Theresa said.

"Nah, we're going back to St. Freya anyways, besides, things are boring here, I don't even know anyone around by the way." - Nero said as he turned back and faced the glass, which showed the view of a part of the HQ.

"Why don't you try to make friends around? I could introduce you to some-"

"It's not that I can't make friends, sis. But it's because I don't want to, you know exactly why."

"..."

Theresa silenced for a bit before she talked again.

"I'm sorry."

"No no... I'm sorry sis." - Nero turned back around, kneeled down and hugged Theresa from behind. (As he is obviously taller than Theresa like how Kiana is to Theresa [game models btw]]) "It's scary." - He whispered but Theresa heard it.

"... Poor kid. He'll not be able to overcome it any day soon..." - Theresa thought as she remembered the day when she first met him...

It would be 2 years after he was brought back to the HQ, as the reports Theresa once read indicated. Knowing this, Theresa furiously made her way to the HQ with some of her friends who were willing to lend her a hand against this inhuman action from their Overseer.

"Only Theresa may enter the building, the rest of you have to go home." - Otto stood on top of the stairs, looking down on them on that rainy day, when Theresa's group tried to break through the defending robots that guarded the building where the boy is kept in.

"Don't fuck with us!! Who knows what you're going to do with your own granddaughter!"

"I'm sorry." - It was not an apology from Otto, but rather... "But did you just assume that I would do something to... My granddaughter?" - The group could feel the tension in the air escalate, just by his look and his words, Otto was able to pressurize the group to the point they got terrified. "I did not want to fight against my own people over some misunderstanding, but the secrets kept behind my back won't be able to assure your safety once you've witnessed it."

"..."

"It's alright, I'll go." - Theresa said as she deactivated the Divine Key.

"Theresa!"

"It's alright. He won't do anything to me..." - She said with a slight smile on her face, and asked her friends to trust her. "Go home now. Thank you for coming here with me."

"..."

Theresa went inside the building with Otto, it's been a while since they've been close after the Second Eruption. Theresa blamed Otto for Cecilia's death, and also she established a Valkyrie school as Cecilia wished, she hadn't been back to the HQ since then.

"Who informed you of the boy?" - Otto asked calmly as they walked.

"... What happens if I tell you?"

"Of course termination, as I said, this is a secret for a reason." - He wasn't joking.

"... I refuse."

"Very well then."

Otto opened a door, which led them to an empty hallway where there's a big piece of glass on the wall, which allows them to observe the room behind it.

"What-"

"AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Theresa was completely shocked, terrified, and scared because of a boy's scream, that was the scream of a child being hurt badly, and desperately screamed for help. She was stunned for a few seconds before she rushed over to the glass and watched.

A boy, blindfolded and strapped to a chair by scientists, with a deep wound on his arm, blood leaked out from it.

"Today is his 5th experiment with the Gem of Desire. He's the only subject that has survived this far. But for some reason his body always pushes the crystal out whenever the synchronized level reaches 90%, so we've been trying to insert it in different parts of his body, in hope of being able to have someone control its powers..." - Otto walked up to her as he explained what he had been doing with the said boy. "Everytime he screams, I feel as much pain as you do. But this is for the greater good... Mankind needed all of the possible potential."

Theresa slammed the Oath of Judah down to the ground so hard that the impact could be noticed in the other room, scientists stopped as the boy still screamed.

"You open this door... Grandfather. Or I'm ripping one for you." - Theresa said as she held one of its spears against Otto out of anger, otherwise, there'll be no way Theresa is threatening Otto.

"Do you really think I will let your emotions decide the boy's fate?" - Otto asked, sounds like he's not going to open the door.

Theresa says no more after Otto's rejection. She lifted the Oath of Judah, and smashed the oversized cross into the glass and broke into the room. Everyone in the room was surprised, even the boy stopped crying there, but he is still confused about what happened. Otto just let it happen, he did not have the intent to stop Theresa. Even when she rushed to the boy and released him from the chair and held him by her side.

The boy was mostly confused and scared, but for a moment there, he felt safe and was being protected. The scientists backed up, but some of them convinced Theresa to drop the kid down, but they got ignored, for Theresa only focused on Otto.

Knowing that her grandfather will never let the boy go, Theresa has no other option to think of, but to hold the spear against herself.

Otto turned away and said, "Fine, my dear. I'll hand that kid over to you."

Everyone was surprised, even Theresa did not expect such a thing.

"Should you give him a normal life or raise him right in this world, your decision." - Otto said. "I'll postpone this entire project as long as you want."

"....."

Theresa, who is still surprised, looked at the boy in her hands, still sobbing, calmly pats his head.

"It's alright... You're fine..."

End of flashback.

They are now standing in front of Amber's office, where they should write the report in,

"Alright, Amber, we're coming in." - Theresa opened the door and the both of them entered the room.

Amber was sitting on a chair, filing the documents. It seems like she is busy at the moment but she still greets the visitors with a smile.

"Welcome back, madam Theresa and Nero. How can I help you?" - Amber asked as she looked at the two of them walking in.

"We finished the mission required, we're here to file the report." - Theresa said.

"Please take a seat, I'll give you the papers and pen." - Amber looked for papers in the drawers, while the other two took their seats. "We are still appreciative that you accepted our request for your assistance, madam Theresa. We are short on deployable Valkyries these days..."

"Don't mention it, even if I have a school to run, I am still a Valkyrie. I still have duties to do." - Theresa said as she received the things she needed to write the report, and she began writing.

Writing the report was quick, since for most of the mission there was nothing much to describe but to beat the hell outta enemies.

"Thank you, once again." - Amber bowed as she received the papers.

"Thank you too, now we're heading home."

"I wish a safe flight for the both of you."

They left the office, and left the HQ by the transporting ship, heading back to Schicksal's Far East Branch, where St. Freya is located.

God that took my quite a long time to write and upload, I didn't expect I'll be dropping this back then hah.... Yeah.... My bad as I've been busy with some... other stories at this point... 

I'll be trying to update this more since I probably got the motivation back lets gooooooooooooo
