Backstory/This apprentice was the runt of her litter. Being the smallest of five kits, you can often get over looked as poor Butterflypaw had been. While growing up, the clans were faced with a harsh leaf-bare and many kits started to die. Being so small, her parents didn't think she was going to make it, so they focused their attention on her stronger siblings.
Personality/ Growing up in such a neglectful way would understandably make any cat bitter, but surprisingly enough, Butterflypaw is the complete opposite. She is light hearted and cheerful, always trying to have an optimistic look on life, which is the only reason she has kept pushing to keep surviving. Many no longer feel sorry for her, and some have forgotten her awful upbringing. "How could a cat so cheerful have such a dark past? Certainly not." While She may seem happy in the surface, she suffers from severe depression and PTSD. She pushes her dark feelings down inside her, causing her to be even more depressed. Despite her cheerful nature, she doesn't have any close friends. Butterflypaw desperately needs someone to express her feelings to, but her trust issues prevent her from getting close to anyone.
