I knew it was him. His voice had deepened, and his body had developed into one of a man, but it was him; I would always recognize him. I attempted to push his hands off my legs and stand, tears coming to my eyes, but he held me firm. "Let go of me, Julian." I spoke, trying to keep my voice steady and the emotions out of it.

"You left me. I came back, and found the love of my life had left me." His voice was raspy, I could hear the sadness and anger seeping into it.

"I didn't have a choice!" I whispered, dropping my head so he couldn't see the tears slip out of me eyes. I remembered what his father had said and I quickly shoved his hands off me and stood, forgetting I was in heels I tumbled to the ground.

I covered my face as silent sobs wracked my body, pulling my knees to my chest as I sat on the ground. "Y-You can't be here, Julian. You have to go." I managed to say. I heard movement, and I felt his suit jacket being draped across my shoulders and I was pulled against him as he hugged me. Unable to help myself, I hugged him tightly, sobbing into his chest.

"I missed you so much, Nikki." He whispered, making my heartbreak even more. "Four years...I've had to live every day without you there for four years. Father told me you had chosen to leave, that you'd grown tired of me and I couldn't believe it...I couldn't!"

When he mentioned his father, it made me remember why he to go in the first place. "Julian, you have to go, n-now, before your father finds out, p-please go." I begged, looking up into his eyes with desperation and fear.

"You didn't hear?" He questioned, his eyes searching mine.

"Hear what?"

"He's dead." Silence filled the room, you could almost hear a pin drop as I tried to process what he'd said. His father was...dead? That's why he suddenly went looking for me. It all made sense; he had waited, for his father to die.

"O-Oh, I'm sorry." I managed to say, even though I really wasn't. I hated his father for what he done to Julian...for what he'd done to me, and my parents.

"Don't be. He was an asshole, I hated him." Julian said with a shrug, looking down at me. "Forget about him, I want answers Nikita. All I know is that 4 years ago, the love of my life was gone with no message or anything, and she never came back or reached out to me." He growled, annoyance seeping into his cold brown eyes. "Why, Nikita? Explain it to me, please." He ordered.

"W-We didn't have a choice." I whispered. "He waited for your business trip, and he threw my parents and I out. He gave us a suitcase full of 300 thousand dollars, and told us to leave and never come back. I wanted to s-so badly, Julian. But he threatened us, s-said he'd kill my parents a-and send me to marry s-some old guy, and he said he'd marry y-you off." I sobbed out.

Julian's eyes darkened as I spoke. "That bastard's lucky he's not still alive, or I'd kill him myself." He spat out. He cupped my cheek with his hand. "Nikki, I'm so sorry. I never stopped looking for you, my love. I came as soon as I could." He whispered to me, his eyes filling with a softness and care I had missed.

"I didn't want to leave you, I wanted to stay...but I was so scared." I whispered, clinging to him, my eyes looking up at him with a desperate, sad look.

Before he could speak, a gunshot sounded through everything. My head shot up in surprise and fear as I watched the doorway and Julian tensed up, holding me tightly.

"Stay here, Αγάπη μου." He spoke firmly, forcing me to look at him by moving my chin. "Do not leave this room unless I say you can." He growled out. He stood up, slowly walking to the main door, pulling a gun from a holster on his hip.

I watched with wide eyes as he opened the door and slipped out into the darkness. "Julian!" I whispered harshly, scared as I was alone in the room.

I glanced around, unsure what to do. I flinched as another gunshot rang out, followed by so many I lost count of them all. I whimpered, terrified and worried for Julian. What was going on? Nothing like this had ever happened before.

The door behind me, leading to the private areas, slammed open and three men entered, all aiming guns at me. My eyes widened in fear as I backed up to the wall. One of them brought out a photo and glanced at me.

"This is her. Secure her and bring her to the truck." He barked out. The other men approached me slowly, one of them pulling a syringe from his pocket and taking the cover off it.

"JULIAN!" I screamed at the top of my lungs in fear as the two men held me down, one jabbing a needle into my shoulder. "Julian..." I whispered as everything got dark, my eyes slowly blinked shut.
