Chapter Two: Fire and- nope, doesn't work.

-Morning-
-[Y/N]'s POV-

Jay and I restrain a laugh as we press our ears against the bathroom door, the recorder against it to.

Auroras singing in the shower. Best. Blackmail. EVER!

Aurora is actually quite a good singer, but she doesn't actually like to sing in crowds unless it's for good reason- like a mission or something. Which is why this is forever good.

Though, this didn't sound like Aurora. The voice was a bit more high, hitting higher notes. Aurora hit low notes mainly, so it was kinda surprising. And yet I still jumped when a voice said behind me;

"Why are you recording Nya singing in the shower? I mean come on Jay-Jay, not cool" Aurora said, her hair wrapped in a towel. Other then that she was wearing her kimono, her hair just took time to dry.

I gapped, and me and Jay fell back as the door suddenly swung open. Nya dodged us, and looked down. She was wearing a kimono too, her hair dried- a hair drier was in the bathroom and her hair dried fast. Water ninja who's hair was rarely wet for more then a minute? What are the odds?

"JAY?! [Y/N]?!" Nya screamed as Lloyd walked in. I first bumped him and Cole as well. Jay gapped

"You lied!" Jay yelled pointing accusingly at Cole. I watched, before face palming. He got the info Aurora would be in the shower from Cole?! I thought Aurora told him. Since Aurora hated people being around when she sang in the shower- a bit like me. Never trust a Jay.

Aurora wrapped an arm around Cole, another Lloyd.
"What did you expect, Jay-Jay, revenge is sweet" she winked. I gave her a glare, and a look that meant 'I'll get you'

She just grinned.
Gosh darn that Cheshire grin, it always meant trouble. Pair it up with the dangerous glimmer in her eyes and you've a recipe for disaster.

But then again, I wasn't any easier. This is why we are sisters- blood may be thicker then water, but water makes blood.

"It's time for training though" Aurora said, letting go of the two boys. I gulped for one reason and one reason only. I was going to be taught by Aurora and Kai.

Please by the scales of the great devourer let Lloyd save me.

-A bit later~-

"SAY THAT AGAIN! I DARE YOU NIGHTMARE GIRL!" Kai said, being held back by Lloyd.

I face palmed, how on earth did it get to this? Aurora meanwhile smirked, leaning forward confidently.

"Make me." She challenged. Lloyd would've face palmed, don't provoke flame brain was ninja survival 101

I'm guessing Aurora never read that book..

"GUYS YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE TEACHING ME NOT ARGUING LIKE LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!" I yell. Aurora turned to me, chuckling and scratching the back of her head, embarrassed.

I sigh. We've been training for one hour. A whole hour. And we got nothing done. Zero, nothing, zilch, nada.

"You guys get along like fire and- nope, doesn't work" I mumble. Uh! Couldn't Lloyd or Cole or someone else teach me? Even Aurora and someone else, or Kai and someone else.

But those two together?
The world is out to get me.

"WHY DO YOU GUYS EVEN HATE EACH OTHER SO MUCH ANYWAY?!" I asked loudly, ticked off. I felt like I was in one of those tv shows where you could see the ticked off mark on the persons forehead. I'm weird like that. Sue me.

"Reasons." All three of them state as Lloyd let's go of Kai. Kai glanced back, before giving Aurora a glare that could kill.

"And the reasons are..?" I had to ask. I sighed as Aurora looked away, obviously not wanting to tell.

"Let's get back to training" Lloyd said as Kai huffed, though both he and Aurora nodded.

I sat back down in my cross legged position, closing my eyes and taking deep breaths.

"Good." Lloyd said, and judging by the fact his whisper cane out slightly loud, I guessed he was sitting beside me. I heard a soft 'thumb', Aurora and Kai had probably flopped down to.

"Concentrate..." Lloyd whispered, and I did as asked, trying to force the energy to flow correctly. It made a sphere, which seemed bright.

"Good, good, keep that up.." Lloyd says, and I did so. But then something flashed behind my eyes, a memory in my head. I tried to focus but I was to late, it had already changed.

It had darkened, the purple light changing into a black darkness. The spheres shape shifted into a dagger, sharp and deadly as I gripped its hilt. All I saw was the person behind my eyes.

Evil, it consumes you. Let it take over. I can help, I am part of you. Don't you wish to get revenge? From the world who took away what's dear one step at a time? From the person you see now in front of you, so close? Don't you want to hurt this person like he hurt you?
Or are you a coward?

'I'm not a coward!' I yelled in my head, swinging the dagger in an attempt to hit the person who I thought was there. Meanwhile, outside my thoughts Aurora, Lloyd and Kai were fighting back, surprised in my sudden change.
Since I wasn't fighting anything in my head, it was a trick an I was now fighting my friends.

"Aurora! Get in her mind!" Lloyd commanded and Kai grabbed Me to keep me in place. Aurora took a breath before walking over to a struggling me.

She closed her eyes before opening them- they were now glowing light blue. Lloyd stepped back, though he was ready to pull us apart if things got.. to far.

Aurora pressed two fingers against my neck, and pressed with the right finger lightly. A light glowed, though muffled, behind her black choker.

"Dark spells into me, light fight into thee." She spoke clearly as I opened my eyes- which were now glowing a strange purple shade. Purple swirled around her right finger, blue her left as our eyes swapped colours.

She closed her eyes, shaking her head as her eyes reverted back to their usual brown- black hue. It took a few seconds before mine did the same, [E/C] flowing back into its depths.

I gripped my head, feeling dizzy beyond belief.
"What the heck happened?" I murmured. Aurora sighed as Lloyd spoke.

"Your powers got out of hand, we shouldn't have made you do so much so quick. Sorry [Y/N]" Lloyd said, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"But we have to go fast" I muttered to him, looking towards my feet. "We don't know when the final battle will happen. It could happen before I'm trained and I nearly hurt you guys now when I didn't mean to and-"

"And you made a mistake. It's time to move on" Kai said. Aurora for once agreed with the flame ninja.

"But I can't! This one mistake could've hurt you! You guys don't know the effects of one mistake!" I yelled in the flaming heat of the moment.

"Oh but they do. I think it's time we told you a story [Y/N]" Misako said, and I jumped. How long had she been standing there? Great, now I'm embarrassed to. But the thought of learning more about the ninja and the past made up for it slightly.

She looked over at Kai and Aurora before finally Lloyd. Aurora and Kai were giving her the looks 'please don't tell' but Lloyd nodded slightly, smiling at his mother.

"Take a seat, it's time you found out why Aurora and Kai don't get along anymore. And it all came because of one mistake.."
