"I am so annoyed." Maisie groaned as she drove with me on FaceTime. "I really wanna be there with you, and not here, driving to school." She complained.

"It's okay!" I laughed as I laid in bed. "I'm not even doing anything, I haven't even done anything really."

"Exaaacctlyy." She said, dragging her vowels. "It's like what? 1pm and you've been in bed??" She shook her head in disbelief. "If i were there I'd be..." Maisie paused.

"I don't fucking know, entertaining you??" She said as she focused on the road. "Wait, pause that sounds gross, I don't- AHH-" She got flustered, making me laugh.

"Hey, I don't wanna spend it with anyone else! I'll just wait until I visit you." I shrugged.

"STOP." She smiled. "STOP THAT!"
"Hehe." I smirked wide, as she took a breath. "It's true Maisie, I don't wanna celebrate without you."

"But. I am streaming late tonight." I added on. "Karl and Quackity said they had a surprise for me on the server." I said with a yawn.

"Do they?" She raised her eyebrows. "Interesting" It looked like she pulled into a parking lot.

"Probably something stupid." I stretched my arms, adjusting my position in bed. "100% it's just a penis statue on the SMP." She said with a straight face.

"Oh, but I also do have this birthday dinner my friends planned." I shrugged. "It's stupid because they know I hate fancy things but they're still doing it." I groaned, rolling my eyes. "It's also like, super last minute too."

"HA." Maisie laughed. "But hey, it's the thought that counts!" She smiled making me smile.

"Yeah, I guess it is." I agreed.

"But wait..." She paused. "Friends?" She looked at me as she sat in her car. "Is Savannah gonna be there?" He face went blank, clearly uncomfortable with that thought.

"Probably." I said under my breath as I rubbed my eyes. "But hey, like I've told you, I already called her out on her stupid bullshit." I yawned.

"If she tries one thing. You call me, and I am booking the next immediate flight to Houston." She shook her head.

"Of course." I laughed.

After a couple seconds, I saw her sit up in her car before she put on her glasses, letting out a loud groan. "Well, I'm here, and I really don't wanna get out." She pouted.

"Just drop out!" I told her. "Nope." She shook her head and gathered her things. "I can't disappoint my girl, Nicki."

"Hey, but I'm Nick!" I tried to be funny. "I'm better."
"Don't disrespect Nicki Minaj ever again." She said blankly and unamused.

"Lame as hell." I shook my head as she laughed. "Well then. You drop out , then I'll drop out." She smiled wide "Simple!"

"Okay, bet." I got cocky. "No balls you won't, shut up." Maisie scoffed as she got out of her car.

"Oh, I will." I tried to argue. "Okay fine, do it and then we'll see about me." She smiled and began walking to wherever. "Maybe then, I'll drop out!" She sarcastically smiled.

"Hey, remember when you didn't choose me on Love or Host?" I quickly brought up a different topic to tease her.

"OKAY-" Her hand flew over her mouth. "DO NOT." She looked into the camera and stared me down. "You're an actual dick for bringing that up." She mumbled as I laughed at her.

"Oh, am I?" I raised my eyebrows, making her go silent.

"...........That was hot." She whispered, throwing me off guard. "HAHAHAHA??" I laughed.

"And you know what?" She stopped. "I chose Owen, and I'd do it again." She said confidently before laughing.

"No." I shook my head. "No, you wouldn't." I denied her statement. "And that is in fact...very true." She continued with her walking.

"You still won in the end, anyways." I smirked. "I'm just the best boyfriend ever!"

"Ohhh... I don't know about that one." She shook her head.

"WHAT??" I gasped.

"IM KIDDING!!" She looked at me and smiled. "I did win, and you are the best!" She looked around her surroundings and whispered softly. "The most sweetest, handsomest, nicest, funnie- Nah, Im funnier, but you-"

"I AM FUNNIER THAN YOU." I cut her off. "Nice try." She laughed and continued on with listing things about me.

"Okay..." She let out a deep breath. "I've made it to my .... class." She said, moving her hair out of her face before showing me the campus building.

"Don't leave me!" I frowned. "It's my birthday." I tried to guilt trip her as a joke. "You're an idiot." She laughed. "I'll call you when I'm done, okay?" She sighed. "Promise." She held her pinky out.

"Yeah, okay." I sighed in disappointment, not wanting to hang up. "I love you, birthday boy!" She smiled softly as I just admired her. "I love you??? Say it back????" She got closer to the camera.

"I love you MORE!!" I said loud into the speaker. "Have fun on your exam!" I mocked her. "I hope you do a shitty job!"

"Aw thank you! I will, just for you!" She said sarcastically.

"You're the best!" I held a thumbs up. "Yeah, I know." She nodded. "Bye!" She laughed and blew a kiss before ending the call.

Once the call ended, I set my phone down before sitting up in my bed, catching the attention of my dog Cash who began jumping on me.

"Hey-" My sister Eryn suddenly came in, unannounced.

"Mom said she needs help downstairs...." She paused. "With carrying something...." She said weirdly.

"Uh.. where's dad?" I asked her.
"He's with her, they needs your help." She shruggedz

"Uhhh... okay." I got up confused "What is it?"

"JUST GO DOWNSTAIRS, OH MY GOD." She facepalmed. "OKAY, NO NEED TO BE AGGRESSIVE." I whisper-yelled making her laugh.

"Follow me." She said before going directly downstairs.

I did as she said and followed her to see neither of our parents, leaving me confused.

"What did she need help lifting..." I looked at Eryn.

"SAPNAP!" I heard two familiar voices.
"QUACKITY?" I gasped and turned around.
"SAPNAP!!!!!" Karl jumped up and down
"KARL" I got even more excited.

The two came up to me as I greeted both of them happily.
"HOW.. WHY-" I asked confused "I THOUGHT???"

"We're here because we have a surprise!" Karl clapped.
"Not on minecraft though." Quackity chuckled.

"....Oh??" I said confused. "What is it?-"

"WE ARE GOING ON A SECRET TRIP!!" Karl jumped and down, his hands rubbing together.

"DONT WORRY, We're gonna bring you back before the fifth." Alex reassured me. "Cause you're gonna see Maisie in California and all." He laughed.

I looked at them weird because it was kind of suspicious but I just ended up going along with it.

"Uhh, when are we leaving?" I asked. "In a couple hours, or so?" They shrugged. "We already have the tickets, it's for tonight."

"Oh, I have a dinner." I mumbled, rubbing the back of my neck. "Oh, yes we heard!" Karl laughed. "Which is why we will be joining!" He smiled.

"So, we leave after your birthday dinner!" Quackity explained as I just nodded.

We continued to talk before the three of us decided to move our conversation upstairs to my room where we all just hung around. Karl sat on my desk chair, Quackity just stood, and I sat back, against my bed.

"Yo, are you planning to move out soon?" Karl asked as he played with a random rubix cube he found on my desk.

"I want to. Plus my mom encourages it." I let out a sigh. "Why you ask?"

"Just curious." He shrugged.

"Yeah. It sometimes feels weird living here... as a YouTuber and stuff." I stretched my arms. "I'm trying to move in with Maisie, but I haven't really figured out a way to ask her." I looked at them. "Properly, at least."

"Just ask her you pussy?" Alex laughed at me. "She's your girlfriend??"

"Yeah, no shit-" I stared at him. "It's just when I teased the question around Christmas, she like... got kinda scared?" I mumbled. "I don't know, she changed the subject like so fast."

"Christmas was 3 months ago." Karl butted in. "Her mind could've changed!" He suggested. "Maybe. But, I think I'll just wait."

"How long are we gonna be gone?" I quickly changed the subject. "Like, what the hell do I pack?" I questioned.

"It's.. just... a few days." Karl said weirdlyZ
"Yeah." Alex nodded. "Maybe pack extra, because I don't know, you could shit your pants or something." He laughed.

"HUH?" I turned to him and stared.
"I'm just saying you could shit yourself!" He argued.

"Yeah, I HEARD YOU." I squinted. "Ha, you know what I'm just gonna pack lightly." I shook my head.

While I began to pack, I was shoving everything into a small duffle bag, unaware of where these two were going to take me. We continued to talk about random things, and before we knew it, we had to get ready for my dinner.

It was a fancy dinner so I put on a black button up, tucking it into some dress pants held up by a random belt I had before I rolled up my sleeves and folded them to make them look a little cleaner and presentable, making the final decision to wear vans because I had no fancy shoes. To make it feel more like me, and a little more casual, I grabbed one of my little hats and kept it on, feeling better about my looks.

"OH, HES HANDSOME!" Quackity gasped and elbowed Karl in the side. "LOOKIN PRETTY!" Karl exclaimed.

The two seemed to be fitting the dress code as I saw that Karl was wearing a turtleneck with nice dark pants and Quackity was wearing a dark blue button up with dress pants, along with a beanie to cover his hair. Homies looking snazzy!

The three of us hang around for a bit longer before I checked the time to see it was nearly 5:00 so I asked them if we could start heading out now so we could make it in time. They quickly agreed and we continued to walk out of my room to go down the stairs, while I quickly said goodbye to my family and continued to leave and get into my car.

I went into my messages with my buddy, Mikey and checked the location to see it was in the city, at one of the most expensive restaurants there.

After about a 20 minute drive of laughing and listening to music, I pulled into the parking lot of a fancy building, leaving Karl and Alex in slight shock.

"NICK!" My friend Eddie called me over as we all got out of the car after I parked. "Follow me." I told the two.

"Hey man! Happy birthday." Eddie greeted, giving me a bro hug. "Thanks man." I smiled.

"Soo uh..." He paused. "Savannah might've gone out of her way to uhh... rent the whole restaurant for the night?" Eddie scratched the back of his neck as I internally groaned.

"WHAT-" I said in confusion.
"Yeah... used her dads money." He shook his head. "We told her not to, but she said anything for you."

"My god." I mumbled in disbelief. "Dude, shes fucking insane." I groaned as he laughed. "Yeah."

"Oh by the way, Eddie this is Karl and Alex, Karl and Alex this is Eddie." I introduced them.

"Sup." Eddie dapped both of them up as they casually greeted him back.

"Alright, then." He clapped his hands together at once. "Let's go in?" He turned around, leading us further into the restaurant.

We walked in and I saw all my friends standing around before they all smiled and turned as I entered the room.

"Yo, Nick!" Mikey and Jack walked over. "Happy twentieth, bro!" The both said as I smiled.

All my friends continued to greet me with a happy birthday, and before we could finish, we were told to get seated so the food could be served.

"Yo, who is that?" Alex nudged my side, pointing at one of my friends.

"That is Harlow, and she is taken." I whispered through a small laugh. "Oh shit... uh what about her?" He pointed at another girl. "Savannah, and she's a bitch, don't even think about it." I warned him.

"If you wanna date one of my friends." I looked at him "I suggest the guy friends." I joked around.

"Who is she-" Karl whispered and pointed at Lina.
"That's Adelina, my favorite, she's the best!" I told him "You should go for it, to be honest." I encouraged him.

"AW COME ON!" Alex sighed.

We continued to walk toward the center of the restaurant, where the dinner was being held at a long table. To the right there was a stage of live musicians that continuously played , with a bar for alcoholic drinks on the opposite side, it was all actually really nice.

I sat at the center of the table, with Karl and Alex taking their seats across from me as Eddie sat to my right. I was hoping for Mikey to sit to my left, just because he's one of my closest friends but that was ruined when...

"Hey, Nick!" Savannah sat in the seat I was hoping where Mikey would sit. "Fucking hell." I grumbled.

"Happy birthday!"
"Thank you." I raised my eyebrows, looking over in front of me at Karl and Alex so I could avoid looking at her.

"You look handsome." She placed a hand on mt back and began softly rubbing it back and forth.
"Savannah." I moved away from her touch. "Stop it." I scolded in the nicest way possible, trying not to cause a scene.

"Uhh.." She paused and scoffed. "Hello!" She continued to smile and wave at the two in front of me. "Care to introduce?" She switched gazes between me and across the table.

"Uh.. savannah , this is Karl and Alex, Karl and Alex, this is Savannah..." I paused. "Unfortunately." I said under my breath.

"Hey there." She smirked. "I'm sure you've heard lots about me." She gave a flirty finger wave.

"Uh.. No." Karl shook his head. "I haven't."

"I would remember a pretty face if I heard of one." Alex flirted as I death stared him. "Stop." I mouthed the words for him to understand.

"Where's Mikey?" I asked Eddie who wasn't paying attention to me. "Probably trying to get it with Lina or something." Savannah answered my question as she shook her head. "Like usual." She shrugged making me let out a small and unimpressed laugh.

Staring at Karl and Alex in slight discomfort, I took a deep breath since I was barely an hour into this dinner when I already just wanted to leave.

I've had a talk with Savannah about my boundaries ever since the New Year's Eve situation and she clearly hasn't listened or gotten the hint.

"Hey, you know what George did the other night?" Karl laughed as he looked at me, bringing down the tension.

"Who's George?" savanna's butted in while Karl ignored.

"He was facetiming me." He let out his usual laugh. "CRYING because his dog threw up on his lap." Karl said, making Alex laugh aloud. "NO WAY?" Quackity covered his mouth trying to not be too loud.

"I have the screenshots-" Karl said between panting breaths and pulled out his phone to show us.

Alex and I both began to lose it before we tried to quickly hold it together when the servers brought in the meals.

"I pre ordered the meals for everyone!" Savannah told me "And I already know how you like your steak." She smiled wide as a server set down a plate in front of me.

"Uhh." She looked over at Karl and Alex. "I didn't know we were having extra guests so I'll just ask for more." She stood up. "Any requests?" She asked, sounding polite for once.

"Uhh, anything is fine." Alex shrugged. "Yeah." Karl agreed. "Okay, great." She smiled before walking off.

"Thann god." I mumbled, rubbing my face in irritation.
"Well, she's something." Alex raised his brows. "I regret flirting." He whispered.

"Dude, I literally just cant fucking take it." I shook my head. "I mean.. she's nice i guess?" Karl shrugged. "But very weird.."

"Okaaayyy." Savannah quickly came back. "Do either of you care for a stuffed crab?" She asked as Alex smiled st the dish since Karl didn't really find it appetizing.

"Alright then." She said as Quackity took the plate. "So, I guess the alfredo can be for you." She smiled, setting the plate down in front of him.

As the night went ok, everyone began to mingle and chat as we all shared a meal together. It was probably some of the best food I've had in a while.

"This is delicious, what the hell?" Alex said in shock. "Yup! The best in the city." Savannah smiled proudly.
"All for Nicky." She pat my shoulder as I shook my head.

"Soo, wheres Maisie?" Salem asked from the other side of the table. "She had back to back exams this week." I nodded in slight disappointment. "Ohhh, that's too bad." Eddie said from beside me.

"That's a shame." Savannah giggled as Alex bit into his food with slight discomfort.

"Oh, Nick" Becca said from beside Savannah, making me turn my head. "Congrats on 4 million subscribers, dude!" She laughed. "That's hella cool.

"Oh, thank you!" I laughed. "Yeah, actually its impressive." Savannah nodded in agreement. "I can't believe 4 million people just watch you play that games" She giggled as Karl and Alex glance at her weirdly, eating ate food while I shook it off. I fucking hate her LOL

Going on with the evening, I continued to talk to Eddie, Karl, and Alex when we were cut off by the loud laughs of my friends, Harlow and Jack.

"NICK." Jack called my name.
"Sup?" I turned my head.

"Remember." He wheezed. "In senior year when you fell face first by the flag pole." He laughed out as Harlow cackled at his statement.

"Hey, I told you never bring that up again!" I said through a laugh as I shook my head.

"OH MY GOSH, that reminds me of when Savannah and Becca had that cat fight by the flag pole." Eddie butted in.

"Oh gosh, don't bring that up." Becca hid her face in embarrassment. "Gosh that flag pole has seen so much. Especially when Nick and Sav would exchange saliva nearby ALLL the time." Kaylani said as my smile kinda faded.

"Lani-" I stared at her uncomfortably. "Oh, shit sorry-" She gasped as her hand flew over her mouth.

"Huh-" Karl tilted his head.
"Forget about it." I shook my head and continued to eat.

"Nick is such a good kisser." Savannah laughed. "I miss those times." She smirked which made Alex and Karl go silent.

"Christ." I mumbled under my breath.
"Savannah. Come with me." I stood up, clearly irritated.

I felt her stand up beside me before I walked off and continued to hear her heels follow me into the pathway of the nearby bathrooms.

"Dude, can you STOP." I turned around as we stood away and secluded from everyone.

"What?" She asked confused. "Can you leave me alone?" I sighed. "Like seriously. What we had was in fucking highschool. LEAVE it there!" I tried not to shout. "I don't like you like that anymore, why cant you fucking understand that??" I told her off.

"You say all this gross shit, while my girlfriend's close friends, MY close friends are here, please just shut the hell up??" I shook my head. "It's actually ridiculous, JUST LET ME BE HAPPY."

"She's not here though." She shrugged.

"THAT DOESNT MATTER??" I covered my face in frustration. "Maisie is my girlfriend, and I'm beyond happy with her"

"YOU TOLD ME YOU LOVED ME." She argued.

"WELL I DONT ANYMORE??" I nearly laughed in her face. "THAT WAS TWO YEARS AGO."

"I do all this shit for you Nick, and you still can't see how madly in love I am with you?" She teared up.

"Do you not realize how completely different we are?" I asked her, nearly speechless. "That's literally why we're not together. You don't understand half THE SHIT I do, and you don't even KNOW ME." I shook my head "You're fucking insane, Savannah."

"I do know you Nick." She whispered.

"You planned a FANCY dinner for christ's sake. EVERYONE knows I hate this crap."

"You don't understand." Savannah sighed. "You and I... We had a connection, a STRONG ONE." She tried to grab my arm as I pulled away from her, and backing up.

"Occasionally kissing means literally nothing." I shook my head. "I will say it and I will repeat it as much as I need to. I love maisie, and only her. It's never going to be you, now get that shit straight into your brain." I said aggressively before walking off.

I stormed off with frustration racing in my head, going back over to the table as I shook it off before Eddie par my back. "You're just in time for the cake, it's coming out." He smiled at me as Savannah came back with tears streaming down her face.

"Sav, babe are you okay?" Harlow asked.
"I'm fine." She wiped her tears.

"CLOSE YOUR EYES." Alex smiled
"Huh, why-" I turned to him in confusion.

"JUST DO IT." Mikey called out. "But, it's just a cake?"

"THATS THE SURPRISE, THE CAKE, NOW CLOSE THEM!!!" Karl laughed.

"Happy birthday to you..." They all sang.
"Happy birthday to you..." I heard placed in front of me.

"Happy birthday dear Nick...."
"Happy birthday to you..."

"OPEN YOUR EYES!!" Eddie patted my back as I heard tiny squeals and small cheers.

"Turn Around." Was all the cake said.

I stared at it in confusion before I listened and turned my head to see a girl in a long black dress, looking up to match the dress to Maisie's beautiful face.

"H,I MY LOVE!" She smiled, holding out her arms. "SURPRISE!"

"MAISIE!" I laughed in shock before I stood up.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" She hugged me as I picked her up in excitement.

"HOW?" I asked while she was in my arms.
"Mikey reached out to me." She let go and smiled. "He's the only one who knew about this PLUS Alex and Karl."

"BRO WHAT?" I turned to him.
"You're bat shit crazy for her bro." He shrugged. "I had to." He laughed.

"But, your exams?" I questioned
"The ones today were real." She laughed. "But, tomorrows exams were a lie." She said making me smile before I cut her off with a kiss.

"I missed you." I smiled as I let go for air.
"I missed you more!" She placed her hands my face.

"YEAHHHH OUT FAVORITE COUPLE" Karl and Alex interrupted as they clapped.

"Hi, Savannah" Maisie turned to her with a petty smile.
"Hey." The blonde smiled back. "Had no idea you were coming." She stood up before throwing her napkin on the table and walking off.

"Thank GOD." Maisie clapped. "About time she left." She continued to mumble, making me laugh.

"Hmm." I thought to myself. "Guys, is it cool if we don't stay for cake?" I asked my friends.

"Of course." They nodded. "It was Savannah's money so it doesn't really matter." Jack laughed.

"Yeah, go spend time with Maisie!" Salem smiled.

"You guys are the best!" I held a thumbs up: "Let's go?" i looked at Karl and Alex. "Yes." Karl smiled. "But wait." He walked and came around the table.

"HI MAISIE!!!" He immediately jumped and down to greet her. "KARLOS!" She laughed, letting go of me to hug him.
"ALEX!" She brought him in as they group hugged.

"If only we had Dream and George." I frowned.
"If, only." Maisie sighed.

"Sooo, are you packed?" She asked, changing the subject as we walked off out of the restaurant.

"Packed for what?" I asked.
"The surprise trip." She laughed.

"Oh, you know about that?" I asked confused.
"The trip is to San Francisco." She raised her eyebrows.

"OH?" I looked over at the other two.
"YUP!" Alex nodded.

"So should I pack more?" I asked.
"Oh, no need and there's a reason for that, But I won't tell you til we get there." She smiled at me.

"My surprise gift for you is back home." She held my hand. "So, you're gonna have to wait!"

"Uhh.. okay. Alright." I nodded as we all go into my car.
"You guys ready?" I asked as we all buckled up.

"Yeah." They all said in unison.
"Great." I started the car and drove out of the parking lot.
