(Mavis Pov)

I sighed, getting out of my bed. Today was the start of my first day at Fairy Tail high. Let me tell you, I have no idea what to expect. I moved from a very small village where I was sort of considered the life in everything. I did a lot of volunteer work and everyone just sort of knew me. I had a nice life there, but my mom got a job offer over here that'd work much better for our family. So it was goodbye village, hello huge town.

I can't see this going well. I brushed my teeth and got my hair somewhat brushed as well. I preferred a natural look so my makeup was very minimal on me. I gazed in the mirror. I had long light blonde fluffy hair that fell to my legs and vivid green eyes. I looked very young, younger than I really was. People often mistook me for a child.

I put on a pale pink dress with white leggings and shiny black shoes. I looked quite adorable. It couldn't be helped, I love looking like this.

"You ready for school?" My mother asked me. I smiled nodding.

"Yep! At what time should I catch the bus?" I asked her, trying not to sound nervous.

"What? I thought you were getting a drive with your father." Concern fills her voice. Oh no. This isn't good.

"No, he's working. What time is the bus going to arrive?" I asked, hoping it hasn't already left.

"You have two minutes." She told me, gazing at her wrist watch. Dang it, that's not nearly enough. I'm going to be late. Great.

"How will I get to school?"

"It's ok, I'll just get you to drive with the neighbours daughter Lucy. She seems very nice." Mom said, already calling Layla and Jude. She made close friends with the neighbours really quickly, I was a bit shy but I'm always happy to meet new people.

"It's ok. You have a ride just be ready." Mom told me.

"I will be." She gave me a hug and ran out to go to her meetings. A few moments later a silver car pulled up to my house. The Heartfilia's are sort of very rich. So they have multiple cars.

I ran out and hopped into the passenger seat. Driving, was a very pretty girl with medium length blond hair, dark brown eyes, and one of those hour glass figures I wanted so badly! I was just skinny with a straight figure. Oh well. Can't worry to much about it.

"Hi, I'm Lucy. You must be Mavis." She said showing me her hand. I shook it.

"That's me! Hello!" I said cheerfully. Better start things off with a good foot. This girl is probably wildly popular, which means I should be on her good side. She pressed her foot on the gas and we started to drive.

"You're going to love it at this school. We might be a bit insane, but a lot of us are really cool. Plus there's a lot of cute boys." Lucy teased. I grinned wildly.

"That sounds great!"

"Yeah, there are a few groups you have to watch out for, but otherwise we got each other's backs." She explains to me. Maybe this place won't be to bad! Who knows, it could be a lot of fun!
