"This will be a one on one Pokemon battle!" Percy announced as people started to surround them. "Winner will be decided when the opposing Pokemon is knocked out. May the battle begin!"

"Lets go! Snivy!/Come on out, Cerberus!" Artemis and Nico shouted as they threw their pokeballs into the air and their Pokemon popped out.

"I'll start us off," Artemis said. "Snivy! Use Tackle!"

Snivy then ran towards the dog-like Pokemon and Nico gave his own command, "Cerberus, dodge it! Then attack using Ember!"

Houndoor dodged and fired small embers towards the grass type Pokemon as Artemis cried out, "No Snivy!"

The embers hit Snivy and Snivy cried out as it felt the burn from the fire-type attack.

"Can you still fight, Snivy?" Artemis asked as Snivy nodded and Artemis said, "Use Vine Whip to throw Cerberus, then follow up with Tackle!"

Snivy threw Cerberus up into the air, before jumping and tackling the dog-like Pokemon. After Cerberus recovered, Nico said, "Use Ember! Full power!"

"Dodge it!"

But Snivy was too late and was hit by the fire type attack that caused a small explosion and when the dust cleared, Snivy was unconscious, getting Percy to say, "Snivy is unable to battle. Nico and Cerberus wins!"

"You did good, Snivy," Artemis said as she held up her Pokeball. "Take a good rest."

"Nice battle you two," Percy said as he walked up to them. "Hey listen, I was going to go on another journey now that I have my best bud with me and I was wondering if you two wanted to join? That way you can get experience and make some new friends along the way."

"Sounds like fun," Nico replied.

Percy nodded with a smile on his face, before looking at Artemis and saying, "What about you?"

"It's not like I have anything better to do," Artemis replied with a shrug. "But I swear to every Primordial out there, if you two so much as look at me in a way that I don't like, I will castrate you. Understand?"

Percy and Nico nodded.

"Good," Artemis replied with a smile. "Now what's the plan?"

"You two will pack up while I make some calls," Percy said after a moment of thinking. "Then we'll stop by my mom's place so that I can tell her what's going on, after that we should stock up on camping supplies as well as food, and finally get started on this journey. Sound good?"

"Yeah," Nico said. "I think we should also get a map. That way we won't get lost."

"Good idea," Percy said as he remembered all the times he and his friends had gotten lost on his many odysseys. "We should also heal your Pokemon. We don't know what we'll encounter, so we should all be at full strength."

"I'll also need to contact my Hunters and tell them what's going on and that they should stay here for the time being," Artemis told him. "I'll see you in about an hour."

Artemis then walked off and Percy turned to Nico who said, "Well, guess I should start packing. See you in an hour."

An hour later, Artemis and Nico walked up to the Bighouse and heard Percy say, "Alright. Thank you Professor. Tell Clemont and Bonnie that I said 'Hi'. If you hear anything else call me immediately. Goodbye."

"It's no problem Percy," the two heard another man's, but much older, voice. "Whenever you're in the country, stop by."

"I will," Percy replied as he got off the Holo-Caster.

"What was that about?" Artemis asked after he got off his Holo-Caster.

"Just a little side project," Percy replied, waving it off. "You two ready?"

"Heck yeah," Nico said with a grin. "Lets get going!"

After getting a ride from Argus to the nearest Pokemon Center in New York, Percy and his two friends headed to his place. When they arrived a few minutes later, Percy saw Mr. Mime and the Son of Poseidon said, "Mr. Mime! How are you?"

"Mime, mime," Mr. Mime said with a smile at seeing it's trainer's son once more.

"What's this Pokemon?" Artemis and Nico wondered aloud before scanning it with their Pokedex.

The Pokedex then said, "Mr. Mime. The Barrier Pokemon. It shapes an invisible wall in midair by minutely vibrating its fingertips to stop molecules in the air."

"Percy!" Sally said walking up to him. "How are you?"

"Pika, pika!" Pikachu shouted with a pout.

"Good to see you to Pikachu," Sally said before seeing Nico and Artemis. "You going on another journey?"

"Yeah," Percy replied. "I came by to say goodbye and that I'll call you when we reach the first town."

"I'll see you at the League then?" Sally asked, knowing that her son was going to be taking part in the North American Pokemon League.(NAPL).

"Yeah," Percy replied. "And I'm going to win this one just like the last."

"Then you'd better get going," Sally said with a smile. "Show them all what it's like to be a champion."

"Will do," Percy replied.

"I think that you're forgetting that we need to get a few things, Percy, before we actually get on the road," Artemis said. "Like supplies for instance?"

"I know that we need to get supplies," Percy said. "Alright, we'll split up. Artemis you will take the camping supplies. Nico will take the food and cooking utensils. I will take care of the map and my registration for the NAPL at the Pokemon Center. We will meet up at the road leading out of the city."

"Sounds good," Nico said as he shadow traveled.
