PRESENT TIME.
After that unfortunate event five years ago, both persons did not expect to see each other again. The chances were down to zero percent because at that time, no one wanted to start anew. One chose to forget and move on while the other had chosen to go on with his life but still having his love remain intact.
But look at them now, with Jaejoong staring at him with those tear-filled eyes for whatever reason, may it be because of the almost accident or because of seeing him once again… all Yunho wanted to do was to hold the man in his arms and wipe those tears away for him. It’s been five years and Yunho knew, he has not moved on even a bit. He never tried and he never will.
Beginning of Flashback
~~Five years ago~~
Jaejoong was running towards his lover’s building, the business department that was situated almost 500 meters away from the art and music department which he belongs. With his hand clutching the paper he so eagerly wanted to show to Yunho, his running turned into fast walking since it was not allowed to run on the building’s premises because there would be a high risk of disturbing an on-going class.
Soon, his footsteps followed the familiar trail of Yunho’s room. It was lunch time and Yunho would be in the classroom instead of the cafeteria. The moment his foot stepped on front of the door, he clumsily opened it and shouted for Yunho’s name.
“Yunho!” He yelled happily but soon his hand found its way to cover his mouth and the paper to completely cover his red faced. Everyone was looking at him. Out of excitement, Jaejoong forgot that many students stayed in the room to avoid hassle but no one found him annoying, since all of them grew found of Jaejoong because of his sweet nature. “Mianhe…” he bowed to everyone repeatedly while still having his face covered.
“Jaejoong, it’s alright. No need to feel embarrassed.” One of his lover’s classmates shouted only to make Jaejoong even more embarrassed causing him to blush more.
“Okay stop it.” Yunho said with a chuckle, his hand making its way on his lover’s waist and pulling him a little closer. “Behave.” He warned his classmates playfully.
And now, turning his full attention on Jae, Yunho then removed the hand that was covering the beautiful face so he can stare at it. “What brought you here boo?” Yunho asked, not even minding the fact of showing public affection.
“Ohh…” And now, as the embarrassment completely forgotten, Jaejoong then blabber about the paper on his hand which led Yunho utterly confused so he stopped Jae by placing a peck on his lips, only to make Jaejoong blush once again because of the audience’s woos.
“Speak slowly boo. I can’t quite catch what you’re saying…” He said while caressing the cheek he wanted to shower with kisses.
“Oh I’m sorry Yun but I’m just so excited and I really wanted to tell you this first.”
“I know boo. So what is it again? An invitation for what?” Yunho asked as he had taken a look at the gold and silver card on his lover’s hand—a simple card that will soon break them into pieces.
“I was invited to play for the President of Arts and Music school in Paris. You remember the school I wanted to apply at first but umma did not let me go? He is a famous person in the field and I’m really happy that I’m the one chosen. Yunnie, I’m really really happy.”
“Wait so you’re going to Paris to play the piano?”
“Yup Yunnie and if someone took notice then I will be able to debut as a pianist and be famous one day.” Jaejoong told him. It was no doubt that he was excited and overwhelmed because of the chance but it made Yunho suspicious as to why Jaejoong, a fashion design student who accidentally happen to play as a substitute for the recent Foundation day of the university was chosen. Don’t get him wrong. He did not doubt Jaejoong’s ability as a pianist since Jaejoong was talented.
He was taught to play by a famous pianist also whom Jae really admire but since Jaejoong had taken a liking to design, he decided to pursue it instead of playing. Jaejoong once reasoned that he both love it but chose to take the first opportunity that came which indeed was to have his own line of clothing at an early age and even as a student.
“But Boo, when would it be?” He asked, this time, he found Jaejoong’s neck much more interesting instead of the card on his hand.
“Hmmm…” Jaejoong mumbled while trying to look for the date and time of the performance.
“Don’t tell me you rush here to tell me the news without looking at it properly?” Yunho, more of stated than ask a question, stared at his lover with his eyebrow raised.
“Well… hmm… here it is Yun… it’s this weekend and I have to leave… on Wednesday to prepare.”
“That early? But I’m gonna miss you… you’ll be without here for five days… can’t you not go?”
“Yunnie I won’t be away for too long. You won’t even miss me. It’s only for five days.”
“Well…” Yunho leaned closer and whisper something on Jaejoong’s, “Stay with me tonight?”
Although the blushing face was back once again, Jaejoong nodded and struggled out of Yunho’s hug only to rush out of the building because of the thought of the things they will do later at Yunho’s flat.
“Boo, careful!” Yunho shouted and followed Jaejoong with his eyes until the man disappeared in the corner.
For Yunho, Jaejoong was an angel and it scared him how he felt something will come up in Paris. Without him, his lover will be alone tending to himself for five days. He just wished that he could go with him but they have a thesis to defend that day, unfortunately. He just hoped that Jaejoong will be safe.
After class, Yunho waited for Jaejoong outside the arts and music building. He was thinking of excuses to not let Jaejoong leave Korea. He felt unsure and the only thing he wanted to do now was to lock Jae in his arms and not allow him to go.
He was still contemplating and did not notice that Jaejoong was already on the way towards him with that same smile on his face. “Yunnie? What’s wrong?” His lover asked worriedly.
“Boo, can you not go? I don’t feel good about it.”
“But Yun… you know I really want to do it right? I promise to make it up to you.” Jaejoong swore.
Yunho seemed to think for a moment then a grin that was all too familiar to Jaejoong showed up, “Yah! Yunnie you pervert. We just did it yesterday and now you’re like this again…” He said with a pout.
“But boo. You said you’ll make it up to me. Now. Now. Let’s go to my house eh?” He said playfully, earning a playful smack in the head from Jaejoong.
~~~RATED~~~
That night, Jaejoong complied with Yunho’s every wish. He let the older man mark him in every place, his neck, the shoulder, his chest, his abdomen, and his inner thighs. He let out the sweetest moan that turned Yunho on even more. He was then completely undressed showing his naked glory in front of his lover. His legs were spread with one of his leg over Yunho’s shoulder. After preparing him, Yunho’s manhood came in contact with his bottom; slowly entering him as if a sudden thrust will tore his lover apart.
Yunho was always gentle and Jaejoong loves this side of him. It was always making love, not having sex. It was always to show how much he loves Jaejoong, not how much he lusts for him. If everyone’s relationship was about sex then for them, it’s always about love, nothing else.
“Ahh… Yun.” Jaejoong moaned when his sweet spot was touched. More shivers he felt, the louder moan he released.
“Kim… Jaejoong. I love you. I will always do.” Yunho muttered while thrusting in and out of Jaejoong in a much faster pace compared before. He made sure that in every move, he’ll hit the spot where Jaejoong felt the most pleasure for him to earn the lovable moans and for Jaejoong to feel more than contented.
“Ahh Yun. Yun. Yun.” Jaejoong’s hand clutched unto the bed sheet as Yunho’s movement became faster, soon, his hands made its way on Yunho’s back. He tightly clutched it and even almost clawing it because of the pleasure. “Yunnie… slowly… slowly.” But his protest got denied for Yunho was not minding the pain on his back, for as long as he can see this state of Jaejoong then he will be more than happy.
Deciding that it’s okay for him to be a little risky, Yunho gave Jaejoong satisfaction all in the same time by pounding on him intensely while his other hand was pumping Jae’s shaft and the other on the younger man’s nipple. “Too much… not too much Yunnie~~” His tongue was then found its way with the other’s tongue, playing on it while taking in Jaejoong’s moan. He felt the climax soon and even Jaejoong was into contracting his muscles.
In a moment, Jaejoong released his cum along with the longest whimper he could master while Yunho released his seeds inside of him that was so hot that it managed to make Jaejoong shiver.
Placing the leg back on the surface of the bed, Yunho traced kisses from Jaejoong’s thighs towards the younger’s chest. Jaejoong was still heaving, panting, and catching his breath. For him, it was the best love Yunho and he made so far and it just showed how much more they can give to each other.
“I love you Mrs. Jung…” Yunho playfully whispered as he reached the man’s ear.
“I love you Husband Yun.” Jaejoong replied while nuzzling his nose on Yunho’s neck, also placing a chaste kiss on it before Yunho pulled his head to rest on his shoulder.
“You can’t go to university tomorrow for sure boo. Stay here with me for the rest of the day, okay?” Jaejoong just nodded and just let the sleepiness seeped into his system while hearing Yunho said I love you for the last time that night.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The dreaded day for Yunho then arrived. The flight was scheduled in the afternoon. Yunho had helped Jaejoong packed the things he will need with the assistance of Jaejoong’s mother who even bought Jae new sets of clothes for the trip. Both Yunho and Mrs. Kim were worried for Jaejoong but the younger man just assured them that he will be alright since Mrs. Han, his pianist mentor will be there accompanying him all throughout.
Arriving at the airport, Yunho did not once let go of Jaejoong’s hand and did not even fail showering Jaejoong with kisses despite the fact that Jae’s parents were with them to see the younger man at the airport. The parents did not mind though because they accepted Yunho and their son’s relationship. They found out that Yunho would be the best choice for their son and Yunho will be the only one deserving of their heir.
“Baby ah…” Jaejoong’s mom cooed. “You should be careful there okay? Call us if anything happens…” his mom brushed the bangs that was covering Jaejoong’s eyes.
“Ne Umma. I love you and I’m going to miss you.”
“Son, call appa first, okay? I’ll be there in a minute. If anything goes wrong, I’ll fly wherever you are.” His father said sternly.
“Appa… a super hero eh?” Jaejoong said playfully. Whenever it comes to his father, he would always be playful and sweet at the same time since his father was always tense, just for relaxation he would do it.
“Aish Jooingie… I’m being serious here you playful kid.”
“Boo, don’t kid around you pabo. I’m gonna miss you too. I’ll call you every hour and every minute.”
“But Yun, you have class…”
“I don’t care.” Yunho said stubbornly.
“Aish you guys. Come on. Hug each other, kiss each other then say goodbye. The plane’s leaving unless Jae does not want to leave his future husband anymore.” His mother teased.
“I’m leaving now umma, appa. Yunnie, fetch me when I come back okay?”
“I will boo. Take care. I love you.” With a final kiss, Yunho led Jaejoong towards the check-in area and see him off safely.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It’s been two weeks since Jaejoong left. He was supposed to be away for only five days. Yunho grew worried since every time he called Jaejoong, his call always got rejected. He even tried to call for the man’s parents but he was told that the Kim’s were away for a business trip. Yunho even thought of booking a trip to Paris but cannot since he has thesis to do and other requirements to pass.
It was on the Monday of the third week when Jaejoong came back and totally different.
“Jae!” Yunho yelled as soon as he spotted his lover stepping out of someone’s car. Saying that he was happy was wrong because the man was obviously beyond that. It’s as if he was in ecstasy. Just seeing Jaejoong safe and complete was his total happiness. He was relieved until someone else stepped out of the Volvo and placed a hand on his lover’s waist.
“Jae…” Yunho called softly when his distance with Jae was only a few feet.
“Yunho.” There was something with the tone of Jaejoong that made him feel that something wrong was going on.
“Jae, what took you so long? Aren’t you supposed to be here two weeks ago?” he asked, not minding the fact that Jae’s hand was already being held by the man beside him.
“I’m sorry but Min, could you wait for me in the car? I need to finish something here. Give me a few minute.” And to say that Yunho was shocked was wrong; he felt more than that when Jaejoong placed a kiss to the new comer’s lips.
“Alright but make it quick.” Changmin told him. ‘Jae what are you planning?’ Changmin thought sadly while sparing Yunho one more glance and stepping back inside the car.
“Jaejoong what’s happening here?” Yunho asked sternly.
“Well Yunho as you can see. I find someone else already. He is my childhood lover. We met each other in Paris and that’s the reason why I came back late oh and I won’t be staying at this school anymore. Changmin and I will study in a famous school in Europe. I only stopped by here to get my requirements. Didn’t you hear about me dropping out?” Jaejoong asked. His voice was masked with mockery but deep inside, he really wanted to cry. Getting hurt was nothing compared to seeing his Yunho hurt like this but what can he do? It would be much better than Yunho staying with a dirty person like him.
Grabbing Jaejoong’s arm, Yunho asked “What happened Jae tell me? If something’s wrong, I can fix it. I will fix every mistake just tell me. If it’s something I did then say it to me. I don’t want you to leave, please Jae?”
‘You can never fix me Yun… I no longer deserve you. I can never have you.’ “I just realized that a man like you is not what I need. Changmin is much better. He always was. Actually I never love you; I just needed someone to replace Changmin. I was so lonely when he left but finally Changmin and I are united so I decided to grab this chance and be with him.”
“Jae… please… tell me you’re kidding. I know that you love me. Don’t do this please.” That point, Changmin knew that Jae would not be able to hold it any longer so he stepped in the conversation and called for Jaejoong.
“Goodbye then Yunho. We will never see each other anymore.” That time he turned his back on his lover, was the time Jaejoong felt his life broke into millions of pieces. It shattered his heart to see Yunho cry. It pains him that he won’t be able to have Yunho by his side anymore as a lover or even as a friend. It was then that Changmin took him. Jaejoong’s parents new about what happened to their son but Jae refused to live with them. Min promised that he will take care of Jaejoong and the Kim’s complied for they knew that Changmin was the savior their son needed. At a time like this, Changmin will be the one to ensure Jaejoong’s safety with the guidance of the Kim’s.
Continuation of flashback.
~~~~~Three months after~~~~~
Jaejoong was busy cooking breakfast for Changmin when he suddenly felt nauseous and ran off towards the bathroom to vomit instead of the sink where the ingredients were placed.
‘Something’s wrong.’ He thought because it was not the first time he felt like vomiting. The first time happened a week ago and it kept on happening to him after that. He also felt tired despite not doing anything and felt sleepy despite having a full rest. Actually, Changmin already asked Jae to have a check up and even promised that he will come along with him.
That same day, Jaejoong called Changmin, asking the latter to fetch him at home so that he can go to the hospital. Changmin was still at the university that time but luckily, Min’s class had ended early.
In the hospital, Jae waited for their family doctor. The doctor was still in another hospital and they were told to wait for a moment.
“Mr. Kim Jaejoong?” the nurse called. Jaejoong then entered the examination room with Changmin by his side since he was still afraid of going alone somewhere unfamiliar. Inside, they both saw a different person they had expected. It was not Dr. Park that Jaejoong was expecting to see but a younger man who seemed not much older than them.
“Good afternoon Mr. Kim. I’m Doctor Park Yoochun.” The professional greeted.
“Ah but Dr. Park, it’s Dr. Park Min Young I’m looking for.” Jaejoong told him.
“Dr. Min Young is my sister. She’s on maternity leave. I’m sorry for the trouble.”
“No, it’s alright but Dr. Park, I’m kind of uncomfortable with new people.”
“Don’t worry Mr. Kim. I will let your friend stay with you. No need to worry.”
Jaejoong was told to give a urine sample, because his complaints were the same as those of the doctor’s sister. Dr. Park did not say anything yet just to make sure that what he was thinking was right. He let Jae wait for another hour for the results.
An hour had passed and Jaejoong was called inside once again, this time another Dr. was present. The new comer had short hair with a cute and bubbly face. He seemed to be very lively so Jaejoong felt at ease right away. The man was smiling at him while holding what seemed to be a chart in his hands.
“Dr. Park is there something wrong?” this time Changmin voiced the question, obviously, worried to death.
“Oh there’s nothing wrong Mr. Shim. Since Mr. Jaejoong’s case is a risky one, I would like to recommend Dr. Kim Junsu to handle your case. He is the best Ob-gyne in the hospital and the most trusted one.”
‘If I needed an Ob-gyne then that means…’
“Oh my God no… no…” after three months, Jaejoong once again underwent a breakdown. The two doctors were confused as to why Jaejoong was reacting like that? Usually, the couples were happy receiving such news but at this case, it was totally different.
“Mr. Kim, I advise you to calm down, please. It would not be good for the baby.” Junsu cooed. He tried to calm Jaejoong down but achieved no response at all. They made Jaejoong lie down on the bed inside the room to tranquil his state. All the time, the man was holding onto Changmin’s hand as if asking for security. He could not attain to abort the baby but having to take care of another person was not in his future plans.
“Mr. Jaejoong?” Junsu tried asking once again.
“This baby is a sin. How will I be able to take care of it?” Jaejoong said at once, his tone so harsh as if he was spitting venom. He was scared. He was lost.
“What do you mean by that? We have to know everything so that we would know what we are dealing with and you don’t have to worry. Everything will be confidential, only Dr. Park and me will know and the two of you.”
“Min… min… I… leave me alone for a moment…” Jaejoong begged silently.
“Okay. We’ll leave you alone but please don’t do anything harsh.” Dr. Park said.
Outside the room, Dr. Park turned to question Changmin, who was still debating whether it would be alright to tell them what happened or not but before he could even answer, Jaejoong’s parents came and asked the doctors if the news was true.
“Yes Mrs. Kim, Mr. Kim. Your son Jaejoong is on his third month of pregnancy. It is a risky stage so I advise you to take care of him and not stress him out. Oh and about that, the reaction we received from him needs a further explanation. As his doctors, we would like to know what we are dealing with. We could not let the patient stress himself like that. Psychological stress would be the worst risk at the moment.”
“Dr. Park. Our son…” Mrs. Kim began, “our son was raped three months ago. It took us this whole time to make him act half of his normal state. He would never leave Changmin’s house. He would not want to live with us. Without Changmin, he does not feel safe.”
“I will have Mr. Kim undergo counseling but at the moment we will observe how he will deal with the pregnancy. By the way, I’m Dr. Kim Junsu, an Ob-gyne. I will be handling the case of your son.”
“Just tell us what to do and we’ll make sure that my son and the baby will be healthy throughout.” Mrs. Kim then bid goodbye to the doctors and went to see Jaejoong in his room.
Jaejoong was already calm but his eyes were still looking so lost. He was staring at one point but the moment he saw his mother, he ran to her and hugged her with his dear life.
“Hush baby… Umma’shere. Appa and I won’t live you. Will you and Changmin stay in the house for the mean time?”
“Ne umma… I will tell Min about it.”
“Stop crying okay? Remember what I told you before?” his mother asked.
“Babies are a gift… yes umma, I remember. I will make sure that the baby will be born healthy but after that, I don’t know what I’ll do anymore… please help me umma. I already lost Yunho… and I heard that he migrated in Japan a month ago. He will not come back umma. I won’t be able to see my Yunho anymore.”
The whole night, despite his mother’s warning, Jaejoong cried and let all his worries out through those bittersweet tears. Changmin who was just outside the door and kept on listening also to Jaejoong, he also felt his heart break hearing Jaejoong’s desperate sobs. No matter what he does, he knew he won’t be able to fill Yunho’s empty space beside Jaejoong even as a friend.
Changmin had been in love with him before but ended up falling out of love when he realized that there was no chance for Jaejoong and him to be in a relationship together. They then became just best friends and with that, Changmin was still satisfied and happy.
Six months had past and the due date of Jaejoong’s pregnancy arrived. It was fortunate for him that Changmin was with him when he felt the contractions. The pain was unbearable but he was able to hold on. Jaejoong was immediately brought to the hospital thus avoiding complications for his risky pregnancy. He was a man after all.
“Min, don’t leave me. Please hold on to me.” Jaejoong choked. The contractions and the pain were too much. It showed how much he was hurting with the way Jae clutched onto Changmin’s hand.
After hours of labor, Jaejoong gave birth to a healthy baby boy through C-section. He was half awake and half numb just like how he had wanted it to be.
A day after that, Jaejoong was able to meet the baby but refused to hold the child in his arms. His parents did not force him to but they were still sad for both Jaejoong and the baby. The baby was named Moonbin by Jaejoong’s parents. But the odds were that Moonbin looked nothing like a foreigner, maybe because he was still a baby or maybe he got more genes from his mother but nonetheless, they still loved the child and they knew that Jaejoong would accept him in no time.
Every day, Jaejoong would hear his baby crying nonstop but he couldn’t step forward and carry the little bundle of joy in his arms. He was too scared that he’ll let go of the baby once he remembered on how his son was made. He’s afraid that he’ll despise his son and hate him for everything but soon all that changed when he finally had the chance to see his son’s face.
“He looks like him.” He whispered but then he felt down when he remembered that the man who caused him all the misfortunes also looked like his ex lover.
“I should forget about him right Bin? But why does it hurt so much to even start doing it?” He asked his baby as if he was going to reply back at him. Starting that day, Jaejoong made up his mind that even if he won’t be able to carry his child, he will still be with the child, because Moonbin was still his son and that was the fact that no one would ever be able to change.
“I will still treasure you Moonbin. It’s not your fault. It won’t be your fault just please wait for umma to forget about everything…”
As Jaejoong’s parents watched outside the door to the room, they couldn’t help but cry a little out of loneliness and happiness at the same time. For once they were happy that Jaejoong had finally accepted Moonbin as a gift and not as a thing, but at the same time they were lonely because Jaejoong might have accepted Moonbin but their son’s heart was still not open for the baby’s company.
~~~~~Three Years Later~~~~~
(Continuation of flashback)
It was Moonbin’s third birthday and everyone was very excited. The whole mansion was busy with preparation for the party but Jaejoong was nowhere to be found. Since it had happened before, Jaejoong’s parents did not bother to look for him because they knew he was with Changmin. He refused to celebrate his son’s birthday because he would only reminisce that night which changed his whole life.
Moonbin could talk already and was looking for his mother but the child was told that his mom went somewhere and will be back late at night. As a child, he felt sad, but he understood his umma. For his age, Moonbin was way too smart. He knew that his mother did not like him but he still loved Jaejoong.
On the other hand, Jaejoong and Changmin were busy choosing a gift for the said angel.
“Jae, every year we do this. Why don’t you just give this present to your son in person? You love Moonbin but refuse to show your feelings to him.” Changmin said as he checked for his own present to give to Moonbin.
“You do understand that I cannot stand being near him. He brings back everything from my past. All of the things I want to forget. But Min, I love Moonbin with all my heart that’s why I’m doing this. I could not hurt him so I choose to stay away from him.”
“Don’t you think you are hurting him more like this?”
“No. I will only hurt him more if I chose to be close to him.” Jaejoong stayed stubborn and refused to be with his son. The child was living with his parents while Jaejoong lived with Changmin. Although this was the circumstance, Jaejoong still managed not to miss every first time of his baby… the first walk, the first time Moonbin get sick, the first time he said Umma.
“Jae-hyung, do you think Binnie would love this?” Changmin asked as he showed Jaejoong a huge elephant plushie.
“Of course, my baby loves elephant.” Jaejoong answered as his smile grew even wider when he saw more elephant themed things on the far corner.
“Pft. You’re just saying that because you love elephants too…” Min muttered while strolling behind Jaejoong as he carried the huge elephant plushie. After having shopped for their gifts, Jaejoong was driven back to Changmin’s home while Min attended the party of their baby Moonbin.
“Uncle Minnie!!” Moonbin ran off towards Changmin who was having a hard time carrying all the gifts Jaejoong and he had bought.
“Easy Binnie…” Changmin chuckled. “Here these are my gifts for you…” But just one quick eye contact with Jaejoong’s parents, they knew that more than half of the wrapped presents were from their son, Jaejoong. The smiles on their faces grew wider when Moonbin began opening the gifts that all were based on his liking. The bags, the plushies, the clothes but the gift he loved the most was the set of school supplies inside the cute elephant bag.
“Wow…” one by one, Moonbin fished out everything that was inside the bag. The elders were extremely happy seeing him like this but what shocked them the most was the moment when Moonbin excitedly said, “Thank you umma.” while hugging the things inside his short arms.
“Binnie?” Changmin called for the young child. “What did you say?”
“I can feel umma through these, Uncle. Umma loves me right? I love umma too.” The elders couldn’t help but become teary-eyed when Moonbin had said those things, even Jaejoong who managed to sneak in the party began crying. His baby was really kind. He was blessed because even if he couldn’t be with him, Moonbin still loved him dearly.
“Umma loves you too Moonbin.” Jaejoong whispered as he left the mansion with his heart bursting with happiness.
“Your Umma loves you too Moonbin.” Changmin said as if he heard what Jaejoong had just stated. He then gently patted the child’s head before lifting him off the ground and let him open other presents given to him.
And during that same year, Moonbin was going to enter a day care since the child was smart and was excited to study. It was Jaejoong who processed everything regarding his son’s studies.
He chose the best toddler school and the safest just for Moonbin to enjoy the start of his school life. It was also Jaejoong who personally brought Moonbin’s set of school uniform. How? He asked Changmin to bring Moonbin to the tailor with him almost lurking in the shadows. Jaejoong kept himself hidden all the time while Moonbin had his measurements taken.
At that moment, Jaejoong came up with an idea and soon he was opening his own clothing line for children that were on the same age as his son.
Jaejoong opened Hero’s, the clothing especially dedicated to children aged 1-6. Although his parents were sure that it was mainly for his son, Jaejoong refused to tell them that. He began working again with his sketches and let Changmin show it to Moonbin, so that the child would choose which clothes he wants to wear.
“Min, which did my son choose?” Jaejoong asked excitedly but soon began sulking when he saw Changmin’s frowning face.
“I’m sorry hyung but Moonbin chose *deep sigh*… ALL.” Changmin teased while handing Jaejoong the sketch book once again.
“Yah You! You almost gave me a heart attack. I hate you Min.”
It might have been because of mere luck or Jaejoong was just too good with what he was doing, but his new clothing line was a big hit and even became a global brand. He once stated that it would be temporary since Moonbin would not be a young child his entire life but he assured that every piece he makes would be the best, of course with the help of his son.
But Moonbin had no idea that the Hero who drew the designs was his mother, or that was at least what Jaejoong thought.
~~~~~Two Years Later~~~~~
(PRESENT TIME)
The sun was shining brightly as if greeting Moonbin on his first day in elementary school. Despite the leaking ray of sunlight out the window, the little angel was still fast asleep since he went to bed late due to the excitement.
Aside from having his first day of school, it was also the child’s first time to have his mother accompany him to school like other parents did.
Moonbin was awakened by his grandmother who gently tapped him and helped the kid wear his cute uniform. After an hour of preparation, Moonbin rushed outside to meet Changmin and especially Jaejoong.
“Good morning umma…” He greeted sweetly but Jaejoong did not even bother to reply back, instead he just stared at his son and smiled a little which was almost unnoticeable but Moonbin still managed to catch it, before Jaejoong headed towards the car and sit at the back.
“Uncle Min, did you see my umma smile?” the child asked, his eyes beaming with happiness.
“Hmm what did I see Binnie?” Changmin teased softly, which made the young kiddo pout cutely.
“Haha… of course Binnie, I saw that.” He said with a smile, while ruffling the young kid’s hair much to Moonbin’s annoyance.
“Uncle Minnnnnn~~” He pouted and stuck out his tongue before entering the car.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Binnie we’re here.” Changmin said. From the rear view mirror, Changmin saw Jaejoong fidgeting in his seat. It was obvious that the young man was nervous unlike Moonbin, who was beyond excited. The child kept on bouncing on his seat the whole way and even Jaejoong smiled softly, after seeing how his son acted. Jaejoong was proud that at a young age of five, Moonbin was already a Grade 1 student.
“Come on Binnie… I’ll bring you to your room.”
“Oh alright Uncle Min. Bye umma!” He waved as Changmin ushered him towards the school.
It was fortunate that Moonbin did not bother to ask why his mother did not accompany him to the school house as he knew that his mom was still acting distant with him.
Sometimes, Moonbin would catch his mother smiling because of him and he spotted Jaejoong hiding in a corner, when he was trying on his new uniform a week ago. He was so happy that he even bugged Changmin for a whole day about that.
“Uncle Min.” Moonbin called before he slipped off his hand from Changmin’s grasp.
“Yes Binnie?”
“Tell Umma I love him…” he then left Changmin before the man could give him an answer.
‘Such a good kid. Jaejoong must be really happy.’ Changmin thought while walking his way back to the car. Outside, Jaejoong was waiting with his arms crossed on his chest. He had a wide smile on his face that told the world how contented he was because of Moonbin.
Changmin never once thought that Jaejoong will be able to care of or love Moonbin. He still remembered how devastated Jaejoong was, when he found out he was pregnant but now, it seemed as if nothing bad had ever happened. His best friend, the once cheerful and lovable Jaejoong was slowly coming back and he was waiting patiently for Jaejoong’s full return.
“How’s my baby, Min?” Jaejoong asked.
“Do you want to know what Moonbin told me?” Changmin replied with a question but the other man did not answer. He just cocked his head to the right and stared intensely at the younger man. “Buy me food.”
Jaejoong smacked Changmin on the head, who in turn stuck a tongue at him before riding back with his Volvo.
On the way to the restaurant, Jaejoong pestered Changmin nonstop, while the latter was driving, about what Moobin had told him. Changmin scolded his hyung that if Jaejoong won’t stop asking him, they would end up in an accident. The older man nodded and stopped asking, patiently waiting, his famous pout decorating his beautiful face.
Once they arrived at the restaurant, Jaejoong and Changmin ordered some food to satisfy their hunger. Both woke up early and hadn’t managed to eat their breakfast because Moonbin’s school started 7:30 in the morning. They had to travel about 10 minutes to the house of Jaejoong’s parents and another 20 minutes to the school.
The food arrived and finally it was Jaejoong’s cue to interrogate again.
“Now Min, tell me what my son said.” Jaejoong demanded. His face was almost a foot away from Changmin, who just kept on munching his food.
“Min, if you didn’t spill it this second, I would have to deprive you of my cooking for a whole month.” He threatened angrily and successfully managed to take Changmin’s attention away from the food.
“Hyung. You wouldn’t do that! You love me!” Changmin yelled with his eyes wide in shock.
“Pft. Just tell me what it is. I’m dying of curiosity here.”
“Alright, alright. Binnie said…” Changmin started, while watching his hyung nearing closer to him with his doe-like eyes filled with child-like curiosity and he wanted to laugh his ass off at how cute Jaejoong looked, but chose not to.
“Binnie said he loves you.” was his reply that earned a wide and bright smile from the older man, a smile worth more than a thousand pictures. If only Jaejoong knew that Moonbin knew everything, except the detail of his father, then Jaejoong would have punched Changmin really hard by now for spilling the older man’s secrets.
~~Flashback ~~
“Wow, uniform fits Binnie well.” The three year old child beamed with happiness.
“Of course Binnie, your umma was the one who made it.”
“Really really really? Wow. Umma the best. Binnie will be the best also.”
“Your umma’s trying his best Binnie. You always make him happy.”
----------
It was winter and Moonbin was sick. The four year old kid was shivering even under a thick layer of blankets. Jaejoong’s mother had called for his son, telling how Moonbin got a cold. Hearing about Moonbin’s sickness, Jaejoong told Changmin to drive him to the mansion, where he was greeted by his parents, who looked worried and relieved at the same time.
“Where is Bin umma?” Jaejoong asked.
“In his room. He’s sleeping.” His mother told him.
Without further ado, Jaejoong rushed to the direction of the room, heading for his baby’s bed and checked his son’s condition. The child had a high fever, but the doctor said that Moonbin did not have to spend the day at the hospital.
The entire night, Jaejoong stayed awake beside his son, confirming Moonbin’s temperature from time to time. Although he did not want to be near Moonbin, that idea was suddenly washed away and replaced with immense worry over his son’s well-being. It was the first time his son had fallen sick and it had taken Jaejoong by total surprise that it had managed to erase the notion of ‘staying away from his son’ from his mind.
“Hyung, you better sleep. I’ll stay with him.” Changmin offered, but was immediately declined by the older man. He refused to have any help since he wanted to check Moonbin’s health on his own.
“Hyung?”
Without paying any attention to Changmin, Jae rested his hand on top of his son’s head and almost jumped in shock when he heard Moonbin suddenly mumbling something. For a second, he thought the child was awake, but found the boy still deep in sleep, “Umma… umma.”
“Hush Bin. Umma’s here. Please get well.” Jaejoong cooed then kissed the child’s forehead before placing a new cold pack of ice over it.
When Jaejoong was sure that Moonbin was feeling better, he went back to the first floor where his parents and Changmin were already waiting for him.
They were all sitting in the receiving area when they heard Moonbin’s voice echoing in the corridors and Jaejoong immediately scrambled on his feet to find a place for him to hide, so that Moobin wouldn’t see him. He hid inside the connected room and watched his son getting being so energetic and happy as if he hadn’t been sick at all.
“Binnie!” Jaejoong’s mother scolded. “You’re still not well, stop jumping around.”
“But Binnie’s fine now Mama.” The child said with a pout. He used to call his grandparents Mama and Papa because Moonbin once told them that, “Mama and Papa are still young. I love calling Mama and Papa, Mama and Papa.”
“No. that won’t do Binnie…”
“Mama where is umma?” Moonbin asked with his head tilted to the side.
“Hmm?” the old woman hummed while eyeing Jaejoong’s hiding place.
“I felt umma’s hand. He’s here, right Uncle Minnie? Umma’s here right?”
“Oh well Binnie. Umma’s not here.” Changmin said but did not managed to make Moonbin believe him because the child had just spotted his mother’s silhouette when the man was dashing towards the hidden room. Besides, the maid told him that his mother had stayed with him all night.
“Hmm okay. If Uncle Minnie says so but Uncle Minnie should tell umma I love him.”
While ruffling the child’s hair, Changmin also eyed the room where Jaejoong was, before answering the kid, “Of course. I will tell him and Binnie, you know that your mother loves you too, right?”
“Yes Uncle Minnie… Binnie will be the best for umma.”
~~End of Flashback~~
“Earth to the food monster!” Jaejoong playfully said as he waved his hand in front of the lost man.
“What were you thinking Min?” he asked.
“Nothing hyung… by the way hyung, I saw some announcement in Binnie’s school bulletin that the parents have a meeting in two weeks. Will you go?”
“Of course, it’s about my son.” Jaejoong told Changmin without second thought that got the latter smiling like a crazy man.
“Geez Min. There’s no need for that kind of reaction. Stop it or else I will still deprive you of my wonderful cooking.”
“Hyung! Ok I’ll stop. Pft. I’ll tell Bummie that you are bullying me.”
“Yah! I am not bullying you my dear Changmin. It was your fault and besides, you know who Bummie will side with.” Jaejoong told him with a smirk that got Changmin sulking quietly, before admitting his defeat.
After two weeks, the awaited meeting arrived. Jaejoong came with his mother because Changmin had a sudden appointment to attend that day. He was worried of socializing so he asked someone to come with him. Luckily his mother was free and had no meeting to attend, although the truth was that Mrs. Kim had canceled every meeting she had that day, because both her husband and her knew that Jaejoong was still scared of going somewhere alone, no matter where it was.
When they stepped inside the room, everyone grew quiet seeing an older woman and a younger man walked inside. Their thoughts were, ‘Wow. What a couple.’, ‘what a disgusting couple.’ As much as Jaejoong wanted to not pay attention to it, he still got ticked off, thus he glanced scarily to the direction of those bashing parents.
“Umma, where do you want to sit?” He purposely had his voice raised louder than usual, so that other people would hear him. First meeting and Jaejoong was already annoyed.
“In the front, son.” His mother replied, oblivious of the malicious connotation of the other parents.
Jaejoong eyed once again some of the mothers in the room, who looked at him with embarrassed and apologetic looks. Some of them were looking elsewhere just to avoid meeting his eyes.
‘Pft. Bitch.’ Jaejoong thought.
The parents’ meeting lasted for two hours and it was all about the welcoming party for the kids. It would be like a talent show where the children were able to show the audience their special talents.
At that moment, Jaejoong started wondering what his Binnie would do to impress others. Changmin had once told him that his son was great in dancing and singing. Whether to trust Changmin’s words was under a debate, because the younger man was obviously Binnie biased.
Every day, Changmin would leave the house early to fetch Moonbin, so that the child would be able to practice his hidden talents. Jaejoong was not allowed to go along with them nor did he know what his son was up to. It was all in the sake of surprising Jaejoong once the child stepped on the stage.
When the day of the welcoming party arrived, Changmin was the only one there, but Moonbin was told in secret, that Jaejoong was somewhere in the crowd, so that Moonbin would be able to do his very best to make his mother proud.
All throughout the event, Changmin stayed with Moonbin in the backstage, while Jaejoong was at the very back holding a camera in his hand. His parents were also there but they were in front with some video cameras so that they would be able to watch Moonbin’s performance over and over again.
“Our next performer is Kim Moonbin. Please step on the stage.” The emcee called. Changmin ushered Moonbin to the stage, while he himself move back towards the audience to capture pictures of the young child.
As Moon stepped in front, a red blanket-like cover was removed and a grand piano was shown much to Jaejoong’s surprise. The moment Jaejoong saw the piano he felt his gut twisting into knots, but chose to stay put in order to see his son performing to him.
Moonbin put his hands on the piano and began playing a wonderful tune. Almost at the middle of the performance, Changmin decided to check Jaejoong’s reaction, hoping to see a wide smile spread on the man’s lips, but he was shocked to see Jaejoong holding his camera down, his body shaking terribly.
At that moment, Changmin suddenly remembered everything that had happened five years ago and he knew that Jaejoong was also thinking of his past. He ran quietly to where Jaejoong was standing and looked closely at the man shaking before him.
“Jaejoong. Jaejoong listen.” He palmed the older man’s face only to see Jaejoong crying with his eyes looking oh so lost and empty. “I’ll get you out of here. Binnie will understand.” Too weak to protest, Jaejoong just nodded and let Changmin led him outside towards the car. Inside it, Changmin let Jaejoong to calm down before the latter began to talk.
~~Flashback~~
“Min. Help me. Help me.” The older man cried helplessly while clutching at his best friend. “I was too weak. I cannot even defend myself. Min, he… he.”
“Ssshhh Jae. I’m here. No one will hurt you now. Let me clean you up, ok?” Changmin palmed the man’s face so that he can take a look at him.
“No min. Please take me away from here…”
----------
It was the day when Jaejoong came back from Paris. He was brought back to his house by his parents and Changmin along with them.
On the way to Jaejoong’s room, they passed by a music room, where every musical instrument owned by Jaejoong was being stored. Jaejoong was calm at first, but he suddenly became very violent and angry, when he caught a glimpse of his piano standing in the middle of the room.
“HELP!” Changmin yelled when he felt his strength getting lesser by every passing second as Jaejoong kept on struggling in his arms with such force that threatened to make them both get hurt. Jaejoong was throwing stuff around inside the room, destroying everything in the process. Mr. and Mrs. Kim soon ran up to them and gave Changmin a helping hand in calming Jaejoong down.
“Jae you love the piano, you don’t have to throw away a precious thing like this.” Changmin reasoned slowly.
“Please… please take it away from me… Min please.” Having no choice but to comply, Jaejoong’s parents ordered everything in the room to be hidden away from Jaejoong’s sight. The room was soon locked, the key long forgotten, despite it being completely empty.
~~End of Flashback~~
“Mama? Papa? Where’s umma?” Moonbin asked with his eyes almost at the edge of watering, because it wasn’t only his mother who missing but also his Uncle Changmin.
“I- Well… Binnie, baby. Something came up, your Uncle Changmin…” but before the old woman could finish her sentence, Moonbin ran outside as fast as he could, the older couple not managing to catch him before the boy disappeared out of their sight. They called for Changmin and Jaejoong but both weren’t answering their phones. Then they asked for teacher’s help to look for their grandson.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yunho had just come back from Japan not long ago, but in order not to sadden his favorite niece, he had agreed to attend a welcoming party as a substitute for his sister, who wasn’t able to attend the event. He was busy watching his niece’s performance with his camera that he failed to notice a kid running towards him.
“Ummp…” Moonbin choked as he fell on his butt. Yunho thought immediately that the child was seriously hurt, because the boy was crying so hard that the child’s eyes were all puffed and his nose was all red and runny.
“I’m sorry little boy. Stop crying now.” Yunho started softly, but it shocked him, when the child suddenly hugged him and cried against his broad chest. He always had had a soft spot for children, so he let the child cry on him, while he drew little circles of sympathy on the child’s back to calm him down.
“Little boy, stop crying. Boys are not supposed to cry. Hush now…” Yunho fished out his handkerchief to wipe the kid’s tears away and the snot on the kid’s nose. “There, you’re all fixed. Stop crying now.”
Once the child calmed down, Moonbin faced the ahjussi he had just bumped into, because somehow he had felt the same warmth radiating from the stranger that he experienced whenever he was with his mother. When he looked up into the man’s eyes, Yunho was surprised to see a child, who was an exact replica of him when he was as old as the child. Even with those puffed eyes, he still could see a strong resemblance to himself that made Yunho instantly grew attached to the young boy.
“What’s your name little boy?” Yunho asked.
Although Moonbin was always reminded not to talk to stranger, he felt secured with that ahjussi, so he told the man that his name was Binnie, Moonbin to be exact.
“I’ll call you Bin then.” A smile formed on the child’s face as he heard the same nickname that his mother used to call him.
“Or do you want Binnie instead?”
“No. Bin will do ahjussi.”
Yunho then ruffled Moonbin’s hair when he saw the kid smile.
“Now tell me what’s wrong?” Yunho mentally hit himself once he saw water forming in the child’s eyes once again. “Hey hey Bin don’t cry.”
“Umma… umma does not love me…” he began to sob again, “He just left. Binnie is doing his best, but umma did not like Binnie’s performance… even Uncle did not like it…. they left me.”
“Maybe something came up Bin. I am sure you are wonderful. I was watching your performance.”
‘You even reminded me of him.’
The child looked up to the man as the latter wiped his tears, “You think so ahjussi?” he asked with hope glittering in his eyes.
If you are to ask why Yunho did not meet Jaejoong nor saw the younger man’s parents, it was because the man had arrived almost in the middle of Moonbin’s performance, so he did not even hear the child’s name that time, but still got stuck on his place due to the wonderful song the kid was playing. He also sat at the furthest end in the rows of seats, because there was no vacant seat available in the front. Yunho was engrossed with watching the recording on the camera into which he had capture his niece’s performance.
“Of course Bin. Now now. I am sure they are looking for you so go back inside okay? You don’t want them to be worried, right?” Moonbin just nodded his head cutely and jumped off the bench. “Thank you ahjussi. Binnie’s really happy. I will tell them I’m sorry.”
“Good boy.” Yunho chimed.
“Bye Ahjussi!” Both waved and Yunho watched Moonbin walking back inside the event hall. Yunho didn’t even notice that the people with whom Moonbin held hands with were his ex’s parents. If only he had chosen to stay and watched, he would have finally realized that an angel had tied Jaejoong’s and his fates for a second chance. It was an opportunity that Yunho was longing to have - to finally meet his ex-lover whom he had left five years ago after the younger man had broke up with him without further explanation.

After Jaejoong calmed down, he checked his phone and it had five missed calls from his parents. Changmin had also received the same amount of missed calls on his phone. They became instantly worried and rushed out of the Volvo to look for Jaejoong’s parents. The duo found the old couple waiting anxiously outside the event hall with Moonbin in his father’s arm.
“What happened?” Jaejoong asked worriedly but dared not to touch his son because he was still under the notion of the past.
“Is he hurt?”
“He’s fine. Moonbin’s tired, he just cried.” His father said. The old man was obviously upset of his son’s behavior.
“I’m sorry appa-” Jaejoong apologized but was cut off by his father.
“We’ll go home now. Moonbin’s asleep. Go and take a rest too Jaejoong.”
“Hon, don’t talk like that. Let Jaejoong check his son.” Mrs. Kim reprimanded.
“It’s alright Umma. I deserve it. I’m sorry appa…” Jaejoong said, before leaving the event hall, his tears falling from his eyes once again. Changmin was about to follow the smaller man, but was stopped by Mrs. Kim’s gentle voice.
“Watch him for us, will you Changmin?” the man just nodded before trailing after Jaejoong.
“Hon, you know what happened to our son. You shouldn’t have said that.” Mrs Kim said, sounding upset with her husband.
“I’m sorry, I was just disappointed. I’ll talk to Jaejoong tomorrow or after the two of us have calmed down.”
On the way home, Jaejoong asked Changmin to bring him to a club to have a drink and get drunk but the younger man did not agree, because it was still too early, so Jaejoong just let Changmin drove him back to home. He decided to lie down on his soft comfy bed and forget about everything that had happened today. He chose to concentrate on his son’s performance that was really great despite the kid’s young age.
Moonbin was obviously very talented and got Jaejoong’s skill in playing the piano. If only he could have a joint performance with his son but he knew himself that he won’t be able to handle nor get near a piano ever again.
“Jae hyung, come on. You have to rest.”
“Oh, alright Min.” Jaejoong replied. He then unfastened his seatbelt and stepped out of the car and followed Changmin inside the house. He was gently grabbed by Changmin on the way.
“Hyung are you really okay?” Changmin’s voice was masked with worry but soon he smiled seeing Jaejoong get back to his new old self.
“Yes Minnie… you don’t have to worry. I’ll just take a rest and cook dinner for you later.”
“If you say so… but if you need anything just call me.” Changmin placed a peck on Jaejoong’s forehead before letting the man close the door of the room and have that peaceful atmosphere he wanted.
Once Jaejoong was alone, he slumped on his bed and scolded himself.
“I’m so stupid! I just hurt my son. I shouldn’t have reacted that way. I need to make it up to my baby or he’ll think that I hate him. I should also apologize to appa. He’s really mad at me…”
When Jaejoong was done reprimanding himself, he lied down on his bed and immediately dozed off.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When Yunho arrived to his new home, his mind was filled with that child’s crying face he had bumped into a while ago. He can still remember how warm he was feeling the moment the kid and him engaged into a gentle eye contact. He can still feel the longing when the child hugged him and cried in his arms. It was surreal. It’s like you found out a new discovery. It makes you terribly happy.
Just then, Yunho hoped that he would be able to meet Moonbin again. He longed to carry the child in his arms and hush his cries just like a father would do when his child was hurt. A father? Why it did suddenly came to him? How strange was it?
“No. He just resembles me…” he muttered before taking off his clothes to take a cold shower, before trying to take a good rest, because the next day, he would be as busy as hell, since the hotel needed a lot of guidance.
“I’ll just meet up with that kid again… he just reminds me of him… why Jae? Why am I still missing you?” too tired to think, Yunho soon drifted off to sleep at the same time Jaejoong did. Both were tired mentally and physically. Maybe because of the connection, after years they dreamt about each other again.
~~off to dream land~~
“Boo, I love you. I love you. I love you.” Yunho mumbled repeatedly as he twirled Jaejoong as if dancing though no music was being played.
“I love you too Yunnie… I’ll be the best for you. I promise.” Jaejoong replied with as much enthusiasm as the man he loves. They danced to the tune of their hearts. It kept playing a wonderful song that made both of them too engrossed with each other.
“I will always love you. No matter what happens Boo, I will always stay in love with you.”
“I love you Yun… I really do.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jaejoong woke up with tears decorating his face. He just dreamt of the person he was trying hard to forget. He thought about the dream and how those promises were broken just like that. He thought of how their lives would have turned out if he only he had chose to tell Yunho what had happened to him, but he knew that in reality there was no turning back. It’s either you succeed in facing the future or failed in doing so. And at this point of time, he discerned that it was the latter.
“Who knows what will happen when we see each other again.” Jaejoong mumbled. He was off to cook dinner for Changmin, but was surprised to see that there was food already on the table. Everything was prepared and set.
“Finally hyung… I’m rea-lllly hungry.” Changmin said while rubbing his stomach.
“I’m sorry Min but you could have waked me up if you’re really hungry. You know that I would not mind.”
“Geez… you deserve all the rest you can have because tomorrow you have to attend a meeting. It’s about your clothing line hyung.”
“Ah. Good thing you remind me. Could you show my new sketches to Bin? I wanted my son’s opinion first. He’s the real man behind my success and I’m thankful of that.”
“Sure tomorrow morning then I’ll follow it up to your office.”
“Thank you Minnie, you’re really the best.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A week after Yunho met Moonbin, he was finally given a chance to be with his niece thus giving him a reason to see the young boy too. He was really skeptic when he found out that Minhae, his niece and Moonbin belonged in one class.
Yunho bought gifts for Moonbin and Minhae. He still could not deny the connection that he felt once the young boy hugged him and cried in his arms.
Once he was in the school premises, Yunho parked his car and waited for his cute little niece to come out of the entrance. He was lucky enough that day when Minhae arrived with Moonbin holding her cute little hands.
“Uncle Yunnie… this is Binnie… he’s the one I’m telling you… Binnie’s a great friend.”
“Of course dear. I know that Bin is a good child. I met him a week ago.”
“Oh really? Uncle Yunnie also likes Binnie?” the little girl asked.
“Yes. Uncle also likes Binnie.”
Ever since then, Yunho will see to it that once a week, he will meet Moonbin along with Minhae. He was really happy that the two children were getting along well. He even bought the young boy gifts that Moonbin will in turn show to Changmin, who then informed Jaejoong about them. Jaejoong then would have Moonbin give something handmade as a token of appreciation to his son’s new friend thinking that the friend was a young boy like him. But Moonbin will always tell Changmin to just have his mother cook a dish since his friend seemed to love a lot his mother’s cooking.
There was this time when Minhae’s mother had invited Moonbin to go to an amusement park with Minhae. Fortunate enough, Jaejoong let Moonbin go when Minhae’s mother called asking for Jaejoong’s permission although Jaejoong was still hesitant. The will to make his son happy had still overcame his guts to say no.
So that day, Changmin drove Moonbin towards Minhae’s house to meet the mother of Moonbin’s first friend. After more than one assurance to Jaejoong, Changmin then left the house to head to his work.
Soon after, Yunho arrived to fetch both Minhae and Moonbin, since Yunho’s sister had a sudden emergency meeting. To not upset both children, she asked for Yunho’s help and the man immediately agreed, when he heard that the child he grew fond of was also coming.
“Remember to always stay by uncle’s side okay Minhae, Bin?”
“Neh Uncle!” the two children yelled.
Yunho was carrying a backpack filled with the two kids’ things and his hands were holding Moonbin’s and Minhae’s little palms to assure the kids’ safety. He could not afford losing them. He knew he would be in big trouble.
Once inside, the crowds’ attention was immediately focused to them much to Yunho’s annoyance. It’s good that the kids were oblivious of it or else they would have to change venue so that Moonbin and Minhae wouldn’t feel uncomfortable.
“Wow. They look like models from a magazine.”
“He’s so young to be a father.”
“The kids look really cute.”
“What a handsome father!”
Yunho heard almost everyone’s comments but chose not to mind them, instead he focused his attention to the two kiddos he was babysitting.
“Where do you want to go first?” He asked either of the two.
“Hmmm… carousel uncle. Carousel!” Minhae jumped up and down in excitement.
“Okay okay Min.” Yunho chuckled then he repeated the same question to Moonbin, but the latter just told him to go wherever Minhae wanted to go.
In the mid-afternoon, Yunho settled both Moonbin and Minhae who were still energized even after rounds of walking. The two already rode 5 kiddies attractions since they arrived.
At the moment, the trio was in a restaurant to eat and change clothes after.
“What do you want to eat Bin? Minhae will choose chicken, I’m sure of that.”
“Umma does not let Binnie eat chicken because Binnie is allergic of chicken.” The boy told Yunho.
‘Just like Jaejoong eh?’
“What about seafood Binnie?”
“Binnie is allergic of shrimp Yun ahjussi… but fishes will do.”
“Oh. I am also allergic of shrimp Bin. So no shrimp then let’s eat steak? I love steak.”
“Binnie also loves steak!”
While the food was being cooked, Yunho took the chance to change both the children’s clothes. They still have a lot of time to engage in the amusement park. Both Moonbin’s mother and his sister packed three sets of spare clothes for their children and snacks that were appropriate for them.
Once they were done, Yunho let the kids rest first before continuing their little adventure. It was nearing dusk when the children tugged on his shirt, telling him that they were tired and that they finally wanted to go home. Since they were still far away from the parking lot, Yunho lifted the two kids off the ground and carried them in his arms. His action garnered another round of attention, but Yunho shrugged it off on the way.
Yunho settled Moonbin and Minhae on the back seat of the car, so that they could rest properly. From time to time, he checked the two through the rearview mirror. He also drove extra carefully, afraid that the kids would fall off their seats. In no time, Yunho arrived at his sister’s house and parked his car outside.
It was also the day when fate decided to act once again.
Yunho brought Moonbin and Minhae home ten minutes before 6:00pm. Both kids were already asleep because of tiredness. He carried the two in his arms, before bringing them down on Minhae’s bed. He watched for a moment the way the two little angels slept, before deciding to leave the house since he still had some work left undone.
“Hey Yunho.” his sister called.
“Hmmm why?” he mumbled.
“You know, if you or Minhae did not told me firsthand about Moonbin then I would have thought that he is your son…”
“Huh?” he faced his sister. “Please. You know I will never be able to have a family if it’s not him.” He said.
“When will you be able to forget about him Yun? It’s already been five years. Won’t you ever get tired?” his sister asked once more as they both stared at the sleeping form of the young boy.
“You already know the answer and you still keep asking. I will stay in love with him even if he has already stopped.”
After placing a kiss on both Moonbin’s and Minhae’s forehead, Yunho left the house and drove back towards his office.
Five minutes later, Changmin and Jaejoong arrived to fetch Moonbin. Changmin had told Jaejoong to stay inside the car since the older man was not feeling well. Jaejoong agreed and just waited for the two of them to come out of the house.
Jaejoong had seen the car that had just left and remembered Yunho immediately after seeing it. It was the dream car of his lover… now the thought wouldn’t get out of his mind and once again, he became unfocused until a knock from the window woke him up from his trance.
“Be careful…” Changmin whispered so as to not wake up Moonbin still deep in sleep.
“It seems that Moonbin really had a lot of fun today, don’t you think Jae?”
“Yes. I just hope that he did not give Mrs. Hwang a hard time.” He whispered while brushing of the hair that was covering his son’s face.
If only Yunho chose to stay for a few more minutes then he would have finally met Jaejoong. If only then Jaejoong hadn’t declined staying in the car then he would have seen the pictures hanging on the wall of the house, the pictures where Minhae was being carried by a certain man, pictures of the time when Yuna had got married and of course Yuna herself, Yunho’s sister who totally supported Yunho and his relationship.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jaejoong was busy checking the layouts of the photo shoot for Vogue Kids scheduled next week. The theme was ‘Kids Just Wanna Have Fun’ and Jaejoong was going to be the one supervising the whole event.
As soon as he was finished with the paper, Jaejoong proceeded on sorting the clothes, but he could not concentrate for an unknown reason. It began the same morning and up until that moment, he had been feeling unease.
Jaejoong had a feeling that something bad was going to happen and it took a lot of effort to keep those thoughts aside. He was almost done with his work, when his phone rang. He rushed to it, when he heard the familiar ring tone.
“Hello?”
“Jae?”
“Yes Minnie?” He put the phone in speaker mode, so he could still sort the clothes, while talking with Changmin.
“I won’t be able to pick Moonbin today Jae and it’s almost the end of his class. I got an emergency meeting.”
Jaejoong could hear his best friend’s co-worker talking in the background.
“Okay Min. I’ll talk to umma or appa, be careful there.”
“You too Jae. Bye.”
“Bye.”
Jaejoong hung up to make a call to his parents. May it be a sign or not, a chance or just a coincidence, both his parents were not able to pick Moonbin up and he only had 20 minutes before the class of his son's ended.
Jaejoong’s mother suggested that Moonbin would be picked up by their driver, but Jaejoong declined the request, because he could not trust his son to anyone else but his parents and Changmin. Jaejoong was left with only one choice and that was to pick Moonbin up by himself.
Fixing everything first before leaving, Jaejoong checked the time and saw that he only had 10 minutes and it usually took Changmin and him 30 minutes to drive from his office to Moonbin’s school.
“Shoot… Moonbin might get scared.”
Jaejoong hurried towards his car. It was a gift from his parents when he was able to drive again alone after a month of trying without Changmin.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Binnie, are you sure you don’t want me to stay? I can wait with you, so you won’t get lonely…” Minhae suggested.
“It’s alright Noona. Uncle Minnie will arrive soon.” Moonbin adjusted the bag on his back, because it was starting to get a bit heavy.
“Are you sure Binnie?” the young girl asked once again.
“Yah! Moonbin!” a kid named Woonsok yelled making both Moonbin and Minhae turn around to see who had called for him.
Woonsok was the main bully everyone was scared of except the two of them, Moonbin and Minhae, which really pissed off the taller and older kid. He had three other kids with him that also bullied other classmates around the school.
“What do you want Woonsok?” Moonbin asked while guiding Minhae to stand behind his back.
“Well, no one’s here to pick you up? Haha. Poor Moonbin. Even his uncle hates him now.” Woonsok mocked, but Minhae quickly defended Moonbin by saying that the Uncle Changmin was just late and he’ll be there in no time.
“I heard that your performance sucked that’s why they both left during the welcoming party. You’re just a waste. I heard my mom say that you have no father. Face it Moonbin, no one loves you.”
“Stop it Woonsok! Binnie did great!” Minhae yelled.
“My umma and Uncle Min loves me.” Moonbin said firmly with his fists closed, trying his best to control his anger.
“Moonbin is unloved.” The other children chimed making Moonbin even more upset.
“They love me. You’re just jealous!” Out of anger, Moonbin came running towards, Woonsok but the taller kid was much stronger. He pushed Moonbin hard, making the smaller boy fall on his butt.
“You’re such a weakling, another reason for your mother to hate you!”
“Stop it! Stop it! Woonsook!” Minhae screamed, but it was too late to stop Moonbin now, because the latter was already running towards the street. The red light for the cars was still on, but it turned green the moment Moonbin reached the sidewalk.
Moonbin was too unfocused that he did not notice a car speeding towards him.
“Moonbin!” He heard his mother yell.
Fortunate or not, Moonbin tripped on the sidewalk making him fall on the side of the road, which miraculously saved him from getting hit by the car.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From time to time, Jaejoong glanced at the digital clock of the car. The bad feeling this morning suddenly came back and he was now even more anxious to meet his son and have him by his side inside his car.
When he was almost reaching the school house, he saw Moonbin with a girl and three other kids. At first he thought they were just playing around, but a moment later Jaejoong saw Moonbin charging towards the taller kid, which made him stop his car abruptly.
Jaejoong climbed off of his car to walk to the entrance, but Moonbin started suddenly running. Jaejoong also ran from where he was standing to follow Moonbin’s steps and he could only scream for the little kid, when he saw the speeding car heading towards his son.
“Moonbin!”
Jaejoong rushed to Moonbin without caring about anything else but his son’s safety.
“Bin. Bin my baby…” Jaejoong helped the crying Moonbin to stand but the child was refusing to do so, so he pulled Moonbin up and laid him gently in his arms. “Binnie… binnie. Let me see your face.”
Once he saw the state his son was in, bittersweet tears immediately fell from his eyes one by one.
Moonbin’s mouth was bleeding horribly and a cut on his lips was very deep. Moonbin’s left cheek had a big bruise and a cut on it. The child’s hands were red and parts of them were bleeding horribly, as well as the child’s knees.
“Oh my God Binnie… baby I’ll bring you to the hospital.” Jaejoong said in panic. He knew his son was really hurt, because it was the first time he saw the child crying that much.
“Damn it! Can’t you look after your son better? What if I had hit him!?” the driver of the vehicle roared angrily at Jaejoong, who only managed to stare at the man in shock.
“Mister please let me bring my son to the hospital first, before talking about the damage, if there is one.” Jaejoong begged as he stood up and adjusted Moonbin’s position in his arms. The angry man seemed to calm down a bit, when he saw Jaejoong’s beautiful face smeared with hot tears.
“Well, I’ll help you bring him, there so we can talk later. What do you think?”
Although the man was obviously flirting with the smaller man, it was left unnoticed by Jaejoong since his mind was utterly occupied with immense concern over Moonbin’s safety.
“It’s alright I can bring my son there on my own. Thank you.” Jaejoong declined the man’s offer softly and that made the man get very pissed again.
“Come on. I’ll help you.” The man said demandingly. He reached to touch Jaejoong, but the latter slapped the hand away out of instinct, which boiled the stranger’s blood once again.
“Yah!” He was about to hit Jaejoong, but his hand was stopped by a new comer that was eyeing him dangerously.
“Don’t touch them.” The voice was deep and it had a overflow of firmness and anger plastered in it.
Jaejoong knew that voice very well. He had tried to forget it for many years, yet he never once succeeded.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yunho was on his way to the school to fetch his niece and also to meet Moonbin again. He had just bought the kid a new set of books to read and was excited to see the boy’s reaction. He was also excited to get his hands on the food that Moonbin’s mother prepared for him.
Yunho really enjoyed eating those home cook meals, because it somehow reminded him of Jaejoong’s cooking, when they were still together.
Every time they met, Yunho would give something to Moonbin and the child would then give him something in return on the next day. He just hoped that Moonbin’s mother won’t think badly of him.
“Well, Moonbin will surely love these books, besides he wanted to ask his mother to buy these for him, but Bin’s too shy to ask. Geez, better teach that child to be more confident.”
When Yunho checked his watch, he told his driver to hurry since he was already running late. Moonbin would either be gone or was still sitting outside the school house with his niece. But the odds were 5:1. It was rare to see Moonbin going home late and if he was, the child would call his uncle to fetch him 30 minutes late so that Moonbin and he could play little bit of the piano.
Yunho asked his driver to drive a little bit faster so that they would be able to catch up with Moonbin.
Driving around the corner, Yunho immediately saw the commotion just across the street and he spotted his niece trying to wipe her tears as she watched the scene. He told his driver to stop the car and park it so he could help out whoever was being hurt.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Don’t touch them.” The voice was deep and it had a certain firmness and anger plastered in it.
Jaejoong knew that voice very well. He had tried to forget it for many years, yet he never once succeeded.
“Who are you huh? Didn’t you see what happened to my car?”
“I don’t care about that trash. Don’t you dare touch my wife and son!” Yunho saw the badge that the Jung employees’ wear.
“ I will have you fired from our company in a split of a second. Now leave!” Yunho yelled angrily, which shocked the man. He had finally realized that the other man he had just yelled at was the CEO of the company he was working in.
“Mr. Jung I’m sorry. I-I didn’t mean…”
“Leave! Just leave!”
Once the man had left, Yunho faced the mother and son he had just helped, not even realizing who those people were, so when he finally was able to take a good look at them, he was utterly shocked and mixed emotions were slowly filling up his whole body.
He simply couldn’t believe that the person he was looking at now was the person he had longed to meet for years.
“Jaejoong…” Yunho whispered softly.
He was hiding so many more feelings than he was actually showing at the moment. After that unfortunate event five years ago, both persons did not expect to see each other ever again. The chances were down to zero because at that time, neither of them wanted to start anew.
One chose to forget and move on, while the other had chosen to go on with his life, but was still letting his old love remain intact in his heart.
But looking at the man now, with Jaejoong staring at him with those tear-filled eyes for whatever reason, may it be because of the lucky accident or because of seeing him once again- all Yunho wanted to do was to hold the smaller man tight in his arms and wipe those salty tears off his breath-taking face.
It had been five years and Yunho knew, he had not moved on not even a bit. He had never even tried and he never would.
“Umma… Yun ahjussi… hurts…” Moonbin mumbled. With those bruised and bleeding lips, Jaejoong wondered how Moonbin was still able to talk. Pain. Hurt. Those hurtful words snapped Jaejoong immediately out of his thoughts.
“Binnie, I’ll bring you to the hospital.”
“I’ll go with you Jaejoong. Come on, I’ll drive you.” Yunho offered and was easily accepted by Jaejoong, because in the condition he was in, he wasn’t obviously able to drive safely.
“What about my car Yun?”
‘Yun. So you still call me Yun. You’re still by boo. If only I can call you that again.’
“I have my driver with me Jae. I’ll have him follow us with your car. Minhae will have to join us.”
With Moonbin still crying in his arms, everything was soon forgotten. It pained Yunho seeing the child he had grown so fond of, crying in Jaejoong’s arms, but the sight of his loved one crying helplessly hurt his heart even more. He kept glancing on his side to check Moonbin’s condition, but driving safely was what required the most attention at that moment, so he controlled himself and just speed off.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once they were out of the care, Jaejoong being led by Yunho, they dashed towards the emergency room to have Moonbin treated. They were asked to step outside, but Moonbin did not want neither of them to leave the room, so the nurses and the doctor himself just let the couple stand beside the crying kid.
“No. No. It hurts.” Moonbin yelled loudly, when the doctor cleaned Moonbin’s cut on his forehead. The cut needed a few stitches and hearing the word “needle”, Moonbin immediately got hysteric.
“No umma umma help. I don’t want it. Umma!!”
“Bin. Baby, oh my God I’m sorry…” Jaejoong covered his face with his hands and started to cry again. He felt so helpless at the moment, but when Yunho suddenly pulled him into a tight hug, he felt Yunho’s warmth and security envelope his whole body and mind, his cries soon subsiding to quiet sobs, Yunho running his hand up and down on his back in small circles to sooth his weeping form.
“Sshhh… Bin’s fine now.” Yunho whispered.
“I-I’m fi-fine umma. I won’t cry now, stop cry-crying too…” Moonbin mumbled weakly.
“Mrs. Kim you can hold him. I’ll just make a few stitches on cut, so it would heal faster.” The doctor said.
Since Jaejoong was still trembling, Yunho decided to led Jaejoong closer to the child and and help him hold onto Moonbin’s hand.
“Bin you’re a brave boy right? You are your umma’s protector right?” with every question, Moonbin nodded determinedly, while having his eye fixed on his mother.
“Yes Binnie is a brave boy and Binnie will protect umma.”
After almost 30 minutes, Binnie’s treatment was finally done and both men sighed in deep relief. They were told to wait for the result for Moonbin’s CT scan before going back home.
It was then that Changmin arrived with Jaejoong's mother trailing on his back.
“Yunho.” The old woman greeted. Happiness and relief were seen on her face once he saw the man, that his son Jaejoong was waiting for almost five years, finally standing before them.
“Auntie… How are you?” he greeted softly but his eyes were not on the woman, but on the taller man standing beside her.
“I’m fine Yunho. You’re still polite like before. Oh, it’s so good to see you.” With a smile, Yunho next faced Moonbin, who was still holding onto his mother’s hand.
“Bin, I’m leaving now. Your father’s here and I still have something to do.” Truly, he was all free the whole day, but seeing the man who took Jaejoong away from him standing before him, was making him crazy.
He was slowly losing control.
“Father? Binnie’s father? No, Yun ahjussi. Uncle Minnie is my uncle… he gave me many presents. He’s the Minnie hero I’m telling you Yun ahjussi.”
What to expect from that news? Yunho did not know. He was happy and confused and jealous at the same time. Who was Jaejoong’s husband then? Who managed to give Jaejoong a wonderful child like Moonbin? But Yunho remembered that Moonbin is a Kim and after the taller man, who else Jaejoong had a relationship with?
“But still Bin. I have something to do in my office.” He kneeled to be at the same level with the child.
“But I don’t want you to go Yun ahjussi.” The child begged with a sweet pout.
“Bin, let Yunho go. I’m sure he’ll make it up to you later.” Jaejoong spoke with a hoarse voice to convince his son.
“You promise Yun ahjussi?”
“Of course Bin. I promise.” replied Yunho.
“Trust him Bin. He has always kept to his promises.” Jaejoong chimed in. He was so tired and was relieved to see his son agree and finally let Yunho go. Yunho was just about to leave, but not before he made eye contact with Jaejoong and asked him if they could meet later to have a talk.
Jaejoong handed Yunho his business card and told him to just leave a message in the number written on the piece of paper. Removing his coat, Yunho handed it to Jaejoong that confused the younger man for a second.
“You’ve got blood on your clothes Jae and what you are wearing right now won’t fit with the weather outside. It’s getting dark and cold so wear this, please.”
“Oh, thank you Yun. I’ll give it back to you when we meet.”
“Yes when we meet Jae. I will call you…”
When Yunho was nowhere in sight anymore, his mother sat beside Jaejoong and eyed him suspiciously. Even Changmin was gazing at the smaller boy as if he had done something wrong. Luckily, Moonbin was facing the wall since Jaejoong was still carrying him in his arms.
“What?” Jaejoong asked softly, finally noticing the strange stares he got from both sides
“Spill it Jae.” Changmin demanded.
“Pft. He just helped me Min. He is my son’s friend. How it happened? I truly don’t know.” He told them softly, but the two still were still reluctant to believe him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On their way home, Jaejoong tried to ask Moonbin about how he had met Yunho or even why it seemed the two were extremely close to each other, but Moonbin would not say a thing, saying that his lips still hurt and he was still tired to talk. Besides he loved being in his umma’s arms.
Realizing that, Jaejoong smiled widely as it had been a long time since he was able to carry Moonbin in his arms and he knew that he won’t be able to let go of Binnie ever again after what had happened.
The whole happening made it clear to Jaejoong that he should start making it up to the lost time with his son. He was very close to almost losing Moonbin and he would never let that happen again.
Upon arriving home, Jaejoong finally made a decision and that was to have his son live with him and take care of him.
“Umma, appa. I-I want Moonbin to live with me. If it’s alright, I would want to make it up to my baby.” Despite trying to control his bittersweet tears of fear, loneliness and pure longing fall down his cheeks, small droplets of water still slid down from his doe-like eyes, making him seem even more breath-taking than he already was.
“Are you sure about this son?” Mr. Kim asked quietly. The old man only wanted to make sure that Jaejoong wouldn’t come back to their house after regretting the decision made.
“Yes appa. I have made up my mind.” Jaejoong said with confidence.
“But Jae, you can’t just take and throw Moonbin away when you find it hard living with him.” His mother reasoned.
“Please umma. Give me a chance to be with Bin. I really love my son umma. Please don’t doubt the love I have for my baby.”
When Jaejoong broke down and literally begged for his parents to fulfill his wish, the old couple saw the determination and love hidden in the depths of Jaejoong’s eyes.
It was the first time their son had asked for something like that and who were they to not allow it?
Moonbin was Jaejoong son. He had all the rights to be with his little angel and it was about time they finally reunited.
“If you’re really determined then we will talk to Moonbin about it tomorrow. For now, let him rest.”
“One last thing umma…” Jaejoong muttered while wiping his tears and reached out for his mother’s hand, before looking up at her smiling face.
“Can I sleep beside my son tonight? He is still scared and I want to be his safety blanket, when he gets a nightmare.”
“Yes Joongie… you are deeply welcome… as I said, Binnie’s your son.”
“Thank you umma. Thank you.” And with that, Jaejoong skipped off to his son’s bedroom without minding the fact that Changmin was standing just behind him and he had just left without even saying goodbye to the taller man.
“Ah dear. Changmin, I’m sorry about that. Would you also like to stay here and sleep tonight?” Mrs. Kim asked, while ushering the maids to prepare the guest room for Changmin.
“Well aunty. You already asked the maids to prepare the room, so I guess it’s okay to stay. Besides, Jaejoong needs someone to drive him to work tomorrow also.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Slowly, Jaejoong lifted up the blanket that was covering his son and quietly laid his body on the bed. His body was feeling extremely tired, but the sleep was still not enveloping his mind. He was waiting for something that he could not quite distinguish. He tried to busy himself with caressing Moonbin’s face gently as well as playing with the kid’s hair but still, Jaejoong was awfully restless.
“If only he’ll call.” Jaejoong mumbled. His son stirred and woke up suddenly, before smiling at the sight of his mother beside him, but winced visibly when his wound on the lips got stretched a little.
“Umma…” the kid muttered.
“Careful baby. Don’t hurt yourself. I’ll stay here with you. Tomorrow I have a surprise for you.” Jaejoong told the boy while placing a kiss on the kid’s forehead.
“Hmmm ‘night umma. I love you.”
“I love you too baby…”
At last, the mother and son were asleep together and so was the savior of the day, who had been dying to call Jaejoong, but decided not to as not to disturb the child’s sleep.
From today onwards, Yunho knew that his life was going to change and soon the past would come back again. He was determined to start anew with Jaejoong. The smaller man was obviously with no one at the moment and Yunho was certain to pursue his ex lover once again, no matter what.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Moonbin found himself alone on his bed when he woke up. He remembered having his mother slept beside him last night and he was so sure about it. He even gave his sleeping mother a peck on the forehead.
Moonbin felt lonely and was about to cry until he heard some rustles inside his walk-in dressing room, a gift especially made for him by his mother.
“Minnie make sure to put every shoes inside that box, okay?” Jaejoong pointed towards the huge box on the far corner.
“Yeah yeah I know Jaejae. Pft. Waking me up this early just to order me around. Yeah you love me hyung.”
“You know I do Minnie.” Jaejoong chuckled, not noticing that Moonbin was watching them in awe at the door.
“Umma?” Moonbin called Jaejoong.
“Oh God Binnie, why did you climbed off the bed on your own?” the older man rushed towards his son to check if Moonbin was alright.
“Are you in pain again?” Jaejoong asked worriedly.
“No umma. I was looking for you umma.” The five year old pouted.
“Oh, did I scare you?” Jaejoong embraced his son and was about to pull away but Moonbin would not let him go.
“Baby, I have to finish packing so I can bring you with me.” He said with a smile.
“Oh. You’ll bring me with you umma? But where are we going?” The child asked confusedly.
“Well. This was supposed to be a surprise but… Bin baby, do you want to live with umma?” Jaejoong asked with that hopeful and longing voice.
When Moonbin did not say a word, Jaejoong thought that his son would not want to live with him until Moonbin surprised him by jumping on him while crying.
“Bin… I’m sorry. Stop crying. I-”
“I love you umma. I love you. I really want to be with umma. Binnie’s really happy. I love umma. I love you umma.” The child cried, wetting Jaejoong’s shirt on the process. Jaejoong tried not to cry but the happiness was just too much. He burst out crying while Changmin hushed the two of them.
Two hours after, finally the trio was done packing. Moonbin helped Jaejoong putting his clothes inside the bags. Moonbin will surely miss his room but finally having the chance to live with his mother was even more exciting. Watching his mother smiling like this made him happy too.
“Baby, your room in Minnie’s house will be your temporary room since the other room was being renovated. I wanted this room to be the exact replica of your room in the Shim’s mansion so that you’ll cope up easily.”
“Can I sleep with umma until the room is fixed?” Moonbin nuzzled his head on his mother’s chest.
“Of course Bin. I would love it if you sleep beside me.” Jaejoong petted the kid’s hair making the younger one yawn.
“Umma… will Uncle Min allow Yun ahjussi to visit us? Yun ahjussi is really cool.” The kid asked as if Changmin was not there with them.
“Of course Bin. I will allow anyone who makes you happy to visit you.”
~~~~~FALSHBACK~~~~~
“Yunnie… I’m really tired.” Jaejoong pouted when Yunho won’t stop playing a game on his phone.
“Boo… five more minutes. I’m almost on top.” Yunho replied without even glancing at him.
“Hmmpp. I’ll go home.” Jaejoong said irritatedly.
In one swift motion, Jaejoong was cradled like a baby on Yunho’s lap; the phone was thrown somewhere and now only Yunho cared about was getting Jaejoong to sleep.
“Boo, sleep.” He whispered as if he hasn't done anything wrong.
Yunho petted Jaejoong’s hair making the smaller man yawn as Jae nuzzled his head on Yunho’s chest.
“Sleep with me Yunnie.” Jaejoong mumbled.
“Of course Boo. I love you baby.” The man whispered as he pecked Jaejoong’s lips. The phone was long forgotten as he watched his lover sleep.
“I love you too Yunnie.”
~~~~~END of FLASHBACK~~~~~
Yunho was too engrossed with the view outside his window. He was thinking about Jaejoong and what happened the day before. The younger man has not changed at all despite the fact that it has already been five years and that his ex-lover was now a mother. He searched for his phone and was about to dial the numbers he was itching to call since last night until the intercom interrupted him.
“Mr. Jung, Ms. Yuna is here.” His secretary informed.
“Let her in.”
Seeing his sister’s excited form already gave him an idea on why she was visiting him today.
“Spill it my dear twin brother.” Yuna eyed him suspiciously.
“I guess Minhae told you something.” Yunho said.
“Well, I have to calm down Minhae and the only way to do so is if I let her tell me everything. I thought I misheard her saying Jaejoong’s nickname so here I am, asking for some info from you. You know how much I love your lover… well I mean your ex-lover Yunho.”
“I know noona but you don’t have to say ex at all. We’ll be together eventually.” He told the woman determinedly.
“Yunho don’t destroy a family. Umma and Appa will be upset no matter how much they like Jaejoong too.”
Yunho sighed and got quiet for a moment.
“Noona, Jaejoong has no husband. He only has Moonbin.” He managed to say.
“What do you mean Yunho?” Yuna asked in puzzlement.
“I don’t know what happened either but I am happy that Jaejoong is a free man. I will make sure not to waste this chance noona.”
“I’ll support you Yun but please… don’t get yourself hurt… again.”
“I know noona… I just can’t ask Jaejoong at this point of time. Changmin, his best friend had warned me.”
Yuna bid goodbye after the duo was done eating their lunch. Yunho picked up his phone once again and called Jaejoong.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jaejoong was playing with his son inside his office. He brought the child with him since no one will be watching Moonbin at the Shim’s mansion besides he was still scared that his precious son will get hurt again. They were playing building blocks when Jaejoong’s phone started ringing.
Jaejoong quickly accepted the call on the first ring making Yunho chuckled on the other line.
“Hello…” Jaejoong said shyly once he heard how Yunho laughed at him.
“Hello Jae.” This time, Yunho tried to suppress his laughter but Jaejoong knew the man too well.
“Yah! Stop it Yun.” Jaejoong pouted although the other man could not see him.
“Yun ahjussi!” Yunho heard Moonbin exclaimed from the background.
“Careful Bin. Here.” Jaejoong handed the phone to Moonbin.
“Hello there Bin. Are you feeling well already?”
“Ne Yun ahjussi because umma never left Binnie’s side. Umma even sleep beside me and Yun ahjussi, I will be living with umma! Binnie’s really happy.”
“I know Bin. I can hear it from your voice.” Yunho said calmly.
“Bin baby. Let me talk to Yun ahjussi. Come on Bin. Give the phone to me. I’ll let you eat your favorite ice cream if you hand me the phone.” Jaejoong persuaded.
After a few seconds, Moonbin gave the phone to Jaejoong who happily walked away from Moonbin after pecking the child’s lips.
“Are you still with the little monster?” Yunho asked.
“No. I left him outside the office but I can still see him from here.”
They talk for a few more minutes.
“I really wanted to talk to you in person Jae. Uhh Can I meet you later? I’ll fetch you in your office.”
“You will? Can I bring Bin with me?” He answered excitedly.
“Of course you can Jae. I’ll pick you up at 6:00pm. See you later Jae…”
“I’ll see you later too Yun. Be careful, okay? Bye.”
“Bye.”
Jaejoong turned his back and squealed in delight as he thought of Yunho. He wondered how his employees will react later when they meet Yunho. Surely, everyone will be shocked. It was the first time a man aside from Changmin and Mr. Kim will visit him.
“How should I introduce Yun to them? Hmm… I have beautiful employees and I don’t want them running after him… Aish! Jaejoong!” Jaejoong scolded himself. Just the mere thought of Yunho with other women or men already made him jealous what more if it came into action?
Jaejoong glanced back at his son outside but saw no one. The man frantically dashed outside to check where Moonbin was. His heart was pounding too much that it hurts but the laughter of that familiar voice instantly calmed him.
“Binnie…” Jaejoong sighed in relief once he found Moonbin playing with one of his employee.
“Umma…” The boy reached up his arms towards Jaejoong who in turn picked up his son and carried him in his arms.
“Don’t do it again baby…” Jaejoong said as he showered Moonbin with kisses.
“I’m sorry Mr. Kim. Moonbin wants a juice so I brought him here to choose.”
“It’s alright Shina. Oh about the draft. Give it to me by tomorrow.” Jaejoong asked as he glanced at the clock. It was exactly 3:00pm.
‘Another 3 hours…’ Jaejoong thought. His smile immediately brought curiosity to the office’s employees. A genuine smile like what he was showing now always brought peace to other people. Whoever made their boss happy was really great. A calm and relax Jaejoong brought never failed to bring them good luck.
Yunho was out of his office at 5:00pm and it will only take him 15 minutes to drive to Jaejoong’s workplace. He decided to stop by into a flower shop. He bought Jaejoong a dozen of red roses which was the younger man’s favorite flower. He also bought Moonbin his favorite chocolate cake. He just hoped that Jaejoong will allow the child to eat sweets for a treat.
Yunho parked his car outside the building. His watch showed 5:30pm. He was still early as he made his way inside.
‘I might as well surprise him.’
Once Yunho stepped inside, he can feel many eyes on him. It was not new at all but at this moment, it made him feel uncomfortable. He made his way towards the reception since he did not know where exactly Jaejoong’s office was.
“I am here for Mr. Kim Jaejoong, may I know where is his office?” He kindly asked to the stunned woman.
“I-ah… Yes… uhh…” the woman beside her elbowed her.
“Do you have an appointment with Mr. Kim?” the woman managed to ask without stuttering.
“I am Mr. Jung Yunho. I came here to pick them up.”
“Mr. Jung? Yes. Let me just call Mr. Kim…”
“No. Don’t. Actually, I wanted to surprise him so if it’s okay, could you just bring me to his office?”
Without further ado, the woman receptionist stood up and led the way towards the elevator. The office was located on the 5th floor of the building. Once Yunho was outside the room, he told the woman that she can leave now which the woman hesitantly did. He searched for Jaejoong and saw the man on top of a shelf?
“Jaejoong” Yunho nervously exclaimed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jaejoong was cleaning his office when he saw one of his workers trying to climb up the chair. It was alright actually but what got him worried was that the woman was four months pregnant. Leaving what he was doing, Jaejoong made his way outside and scolded the woman.
“Taeyoon, what are you doing?”
“Mrs. Kim, there’s something I need from the top shelf. I cannot ask Mrs. Hwa to get it. It’s dangerous.”
“You said it yourself Taeyoon, it’s dangerous. For God’s sake you’re pregnant. What if you fall?”
“I-I’m sorry Mrs. Kim… I-I”
“I’ll get it for you. What color is the folder?” Jaejoong pulled a chair and stepped on it.
“Blue sir.” Taeyoon replied. She knew the man was clumsy. They all knew that so even Mrs. Hwa, Jaejoong’s secretary grew nervous.
When Jaejoong finally got the blue folder, everyone sighed in relief until…
“Shoot…” Jaejoong muttered.
“What’s wrong Mrs. Kim?” Mrs. Hwa asked as she walked closer to Jaejoong.
“I’m stuck.” Jaejoong sheepishly smiled. His coat got caught somewhere and he could not pull it out, afraid that the folders will make a mess if everything fell.
Jaejoong was slowly getting numb. He was on his tip-toe. He felt the strength from that foot slowly weakening.
The door suddenly opened but Jaejoong did not notice it until he felt an arm snaking on his waist. In shock, Jaejoong tried to pull away which made some books fell from the shelf.
“MRS. KIM!” Both Taeyoon and Mrs. Hwa yelled.
“Jae what are you trying to do?” Jaejoong heard that familiar tone where he knew Yunho will began scolding him.
“I was just trying to help Yun.” He defended his self.
“Could you hand me a pair of scissors?” he asked no one in particular. Once he got the scissor, Yunho checked where Jaejoong’s cloth got stuck and without listening to Jaejoong’s protest, he cut it and saw how Jaejoong pouted.
“There. Come on. Hold on to me Jae.” Yunho helped Jaejoong climbed off the shelf. When Jaejoong was safely on the ground, he was pulled into a hug by the man who just saved him.
“I’m alright Yun but my cloth isn’t.” Jaejoong managed to mumble since he was sandwiched between Yunho’s arm and chest.
“Geez Jae. You never changed.” The taller man chuckled as he checked how much damaged he had done on the other man’s cloth.
“Yun ahjussi? YUN AHJUSSI!” Moonbin excitedly yelled when he saw Yunho with his mother. The child just came back from the comfort room and he was not expecting to see his favorite ahjussi inside his umma’s office.
In a swift moment, Moonbin was off the ground and was carried in Yunho’s arm while Jaejoong and the others watched them in admiration. The two look like father and son but Jaejoong knew too well and the truth made him sad. Maybe Yunho noticed it because Jaejoong was also enveloped in the taller man’s arms.
“Hey… what’s with the saddened expression?” Yunho whispered just enough for Jaejoong to hear.
Jaejoong’s co-workers one by one left to give the trio some privacy. Yunho put down Moonbin so he could give the smaller man the flowers he bought as well as the cake for Moonbin.
“Yun. you shouldn’t have…” Jaejoong muttered shyly.
Yunho got the flowers from Jaejoong which made the smaller man pout because he knew the man was teasing him.
“Alright. Alright. Thank you Yun. I love y-the flowers.” Jaejoong’s breath got caught up once he realized what he had almost said.
As if Yunho did not hear him, “You’re always welcome Jae. Are you done with your work?” The man asked as he eyed Jaejoong’s office.
“Ah. Yes Yun. Let me just get Bin’s coat then we can go.”
Although Yunho wanted to treat Jaejoong and Moonbin to a fancy restaurant, Jaejoong told him that he already promised Moonbin that they will eat ice cream that night so Yunho agreed without further argument despite the fact that ice cream as a dinner isn’t good at all.
When they arrived, the trio sat on a private corner of the place. Jaejoong ordered a platter of Carbonara, two bottles of mineral water and Moonbin’s favorite ice cream.
“What about you Yun?” The younger man asked.
“Carbonara will do and water.” He told the waiter irritably as he noticed how the other man glance at Jaejoong sneakily.
“What’s wrong Yun? I’m sorry I asked you to bring us here.” Jaejoong apologized as he looked anywhere else as long as his eyes won’t be in contact with Yunho.
“Hey…” Yunho held Jaejoong’s hand with his but the younger man was still not looking at him.
“It’s alright Jae… we used to date on a place like this. The waiter just ticked me off.” Yunho told Jaejoong truthfully while the younger man nodded in understanding.
While waiting for the food, Yunho used the time to talk to Jaejoong. They catch up from a few of things but never the issue about Jaejoong’s son. The time they have today was too short to converse a lot. Yunho saw the same waiter was bringing their food so he take a hold of Jaejoong’s had firmly with his. The said man saw the gesture and finally got the message from Yunho so he stopped sneaking glances of Jaejoong as he gave them their food.
“Pleas enjoy your meal.” The waiter bowed then left, avoiding Yunho’s deathly glares.
All throughout the meal, they ate in silence. Jaejoong will sometimes talk but only to his son. Yunho just sat there watching them. The silence was soon gone when the dessert arrive. It was such a cute sight for Yunho because it wasn’t only Moonbin who was happy but also his soon-to-be-lover again. Ruining it was not a good idea so he let them be as he drank his water.
“Do you want some Yun?” Jaejoong asked which brought Yunho some memories from the past.
“Do you want some Yun?” Jaejoong asked.
“I don’t like sweets boo.” Yunho declined.
Yunho smiled while saying, “I don’t like sweets that much Jae.”
But Yunho knew what Jaejoong will say.
“Come on Yun just a taste.” Reaching the spoon an inch away from the latter’s mouth.
“Come on Yun just a taste.” While the spoon was almost an inch away from Yunho’s mouth.
But before Yunho could answer again, Jaejoong will take this chance to just put the spoon inside and feed Yunho with his favorite ice cream. Yunho tasted it while smiling at the younger man.
‘Just like before…’ He thought.
At 7:30 in the evening, Changmin called Jaejoong asking the man’s whereabouts since Jaejoong forgot to call him about Yunho fetching them.
“Yunho came Min… Yes, we’re fine… Alright… fetch us here at XXXX… You’re already around the corner?. Don’t worry… Okay, Bye Minnie.”
When Jaejoong hang up, he saw how Yunho reacted from the phone call. The man was obviously upset for whatever reason it was. Soon, he will explain everything to Yunho. If it was really their chance then God will both give them time to adjust to the situation and the right time were Jaejoong will be able to tell Yunho everything.
“Uncle Minnie’s here umma.” Moonbin broke the deafening silence. Yunho already paid the bill despite Jaejoong’s protests.
“Bye Yun ahjussi. I’ll see you soon, okay?”Yunho just nodded as Moonbin pecked Yunho on the cheek before running inside his Uncle Minnie’s car.
“Goodbye Yunho. Something came up with Changmin so we have to leave now. Thank you for the treat Yun. I’ll treat you next time.”
When Yunho did not respond, Jaejoong felt quite sad but he did not push the issue so he just gave Yunho a goodbye hug without waiting anymore for the taller man’s response.
“Be careful Yun.” He told Yunho as he closed the door of Changmin’s car. Once the car was out of sight, Yunho sighed deeply to calm his nerves.
“What is that man really to you Jae? Should I feel threatened?” He muttered sadly as he too climbed inside his car and drove off towards the direction of his sister’s house.

It was a perfect love. It would always stay that way. It seemed nothing had happened and it scared Jaejoong of the consequence once Yunho find out the truth. At this point, Jaejoong tried to remember the past he was trying hard to forget. It was painful but Jaejoong knew that he could not hide from it forever. The time will come when Yunho needed to know about the incident five years ago and it will be happening soon.
~~~~~RATED FLASHBACK~~~~~
Jaejoong was ushered to the stage by his mentor. He was too nervous but soon relaxed when Yunho had called him a minute before his performance. His once trembling hands were gone now. What replaced it was the confidence that Jaejoong will be great just like what Yunho assured him. The lights were dimmed as Jaejoong headed towards the piano. He sat there carefully and gently placed his fingers on the key.
The moment he began playing Yiruma’s If I could see you again, everybody was enticed as if captured by Jaejoong’s radiant shadow. Despite not being able to practice the piano all the time, Jaejoong was still beyond perfect. It’s as if he owns the song as he played it. It was loved by everybody especially the man lurking behind the curtains who quietly waits for the evening to end.
“Thank you.” was the only words Jaejoong had mastered to say for he was nervous and without Yunho, he knew he won’t be able to relax anytime soon. The audience applauded his performance and that moment, he felt the smile forming on his angelic face thus capturing much more people compared before.
“Jaejoong, you did really great. I’m happy for you.” Mrs. Han congratulated him as he made his way down from the stage. He was appreciated deeply and he can’t wait to call Yunho for the good news. Fishing out his phone from the pocket of his suit, Jaejoong was stopped midway when a certain Mr. Leroy came to him and talk to his mentor. He never studied French seriously and now he wished he did.
“Mr. Laurent wants Mr. Kim Jaejoong to play for him at the gala later. Will he be able to comply?” The man said in French. His mentor seemed to think for a moment. It was shown on how her eyebrows creased.
“Yes of course. Mr. Laurent is one of the famous persons in the industry and for him to look for Jaejoong means good news.” The word yes was the only word Jae understood.
‘Maybe something came up?’ He thought to himself.
“Ah Jae, my dear. Mr. Laurent wanted you to play the piano for him later but I won’t be there since I have to meet Mr. Martinez. There’s something he would like to discuss. Will you be alright by yourself? Don’t worry, Mr. Laurent speaks English and I know you do too. Oh, and Jaejoong actually when I saw Mr. Laurent’s face in the picture, he kind of looks like Yunho and he is half Asian as well so I bet you won’t find a hard time getting along with him.”
“Really?”
‘But Yunnie will always be the most handsome.’ Jaejoong smiled at the thought.
“Okay Mrs. Han. I will do my best then.” He assured the woman. Jaejoong thought about what he would play but he never thought of how his life would change after.
~~~~~~~
When Jaejoong was brought into a room, he knew something was off. Shouldn’t a gala have many people celebrating, socializing and having a festive?
‘Then why am I alone?’
Since Jaejoong was not a suspicious type of a person, he shrugged off the feeling and just waited for the people to come. He thought that they were late; if only Jaejoong knew then he would be able to save himself.
There was a grand white piano in the room and Jaejoong thought that it wouldn’t hurt if he tried to practice for a while so he headed to where the piano was and began playing View from the window. He was deep and so into playing that he did not notice a person stepped inside the room and locked it on his way.
The man carefully walked towards Jaejoong and stopped when he was only a foot away from the man. It was in no time that Jaejoong ended playing but as soon as his finger was off from the keys, a hand was placed on his shoulders to restrain him from standing.
“Oh.” He tried to stand but was blocked so he extended his head to look up for the person who has hands on his shoulder.
“Keep playing…” the man huskily said. Jaejoong then felt the way one of the hands made his way to his waist so he stopped it by placing his hand over.
“Mr. Laurent?” Jaejoong asked. He was trying to show he was calm but the truth was that he really was scared.
“Keep playing Jaejoong.” The man once again said so he began playing again but soon stopped when he felt the man’s breath ghosting on his neck.
“Sir. I—“
“I said keep playing.” Laurent demanded, this time with a firmness that managed to scare the hell out of Jaejoong.
Midway of the song, Jaejoong’s hand trembled. He was so scared that most of the keys were off as the hand on his waist move to touch his inner thighs. Right at that moment, he knew he was in danger so he stood but did not managed to turn around for he was caught within the man’s strong arms.
“Sir, please. I want to go back to the hotel.” He said only to get a hush from the other man.
“Sshh… my lovely pianist. We should have fun tonight for the success of your performance, right?” The man then pulled Jaejoong closer to him.
“Sir please! Don’t touch me…” he begged while trying to pry off the hand that was slowly unbuttoning his shirt.
“Keep still or I’ll hurt you.” But Jaejoong struggled more so Laurent got impatient and lifted Jaejoong off the ground to pushed Jaejoong to the piano after closing the lid harshly. Jaejoong painfully groaned when his head hit the edge of it.
“See, I told you to keep still. Damn it!” In no time, Jaejoong’s shirt was tore off of his body. He was still struggling but soon his slacks was removed and thrown on the carpeted floor. Jaejoong’s boxer later followed.
“Please… please don’t do this.” He begged but the older man did not seem to hear him, instead he spread Jaejoong’s leg and slapped Jaejoong on his face when he tried to close it.
“You better listen to me!”
“Yun… yun… help me.” Jaejoong mumbled while struggling out of the man’s hold but his effort became even more useless when he was slapped once again and his head hit the lid of the piano harder. He became dizzy and numb at the same time. The other man used this chance to enter two fingers inside his bottom without any lube.
“AHH!” Jaejoong moaned way too painful as soon as he felt the intrusion. His cries were gone unnoticed, his pleas were all denied. Not any longer, he felt the man’s manhood entering him forcefully, in one go.
“Your lover wouldn’t like you anymore after this. You whore!” Laurent then thrust his shaft inside and out.
“Damn, so tight.”
Laurent took his time at first but soon got impatient thus he began thrusting fast inside Jaejoong and since there was no lube, Jaejoong felt nothing but pain and disgust while he cried his heart out and thought of what would happen now to Yunho and him. Because of too much pain, he soon passed out and that made Laurent mad after he shot his load inside the broken angel.
“Tainting you is better than expected might as well continue this on bed. It’s rather uncomfortable here, isn’t it?” He talked to the unconscious Jaejoong.
Laurent did Jaejoong once again on the bed despite having no response. He enjoyed every intrusion, marking the younger man here and there, and spurting cum inside Jaejoong.
When Jaejoong woke up, he felt nothing but pain on his entire body. His head felt like it was too heavy, his body felt so sore and his bottom felt like hell. As soon as he remembered what had happened, he did not even noticed the way his tears fell from his eyes as he fumbled for the phone in his suit that was thrown on the ground. Right then, Jaejoong knew he could not call for Yunho or his parents. He thought of anyone to call for help and dialed that familiar number of his best friend, Changmin.
“Hello Jaejae?” Changmin happily chimed but soon became worried when he heard his best friend’s sobbing.
“What’s wrong?”
“Min. Min. Help me.”
“Where are you? Are you still here in Paris?” Changmin asked frantically.
“Yes min. I’m at XXXX Hotel. Please Min, I need you. Help me.”
Given 30 minutes, Changmin arrived at the hotel and got the shocked of his life as soon as he saw the state of his best friend. Base from the cum on the piano, the torn top and the totally scared Jaejoong, he knew right away what had happened to his best friend.
“Jae…” Once Jaejoong heard his friend’s voice, his immediately grabbed him and buried his face on the man’s chest.
“Min. Help me. Help me.” The older man cried helplessly while clutching at his best friend.
“I was too weak. I cannot even defend myself. Min, he… he.”
“Ssshhh Jae. I’m here. No one will hurt you now. Let me clean you up, ok?” Changmin palmed the man’s face so that he can take a look at him.
“No min. Please take me away from here…”
“Yes I will Jae. Let me fix you first and we’ll call your parents.”
“NO! Don’t, don’t call them please.” He begged but Changmin did not listen.
“Jae listen. We need to tell this to auntie and uncle. This is not something you just have to shrug off, do you understand? I promise I will stay with you just please, let me tell your parents okay?”
With a weak nod from Jaejoong, Changmin sighed and took the man away from the place.
~~~~~END OF FLASHBACK~~~~~
“Jaejoong what’s wrong?” Changmin questioned once he saw Jaejoong crying silently outside the veranda.
“Nothing Min… I’m just worried about Yunho.”
“Why? Tell me.” He asked as he sat down beside the man.
“I’m worried that Yun will hate me after finding out the truth. I don’t want him to know but I have no choice. I really want to be with him but I’m scared that he’ll find me disgusting and even despise my son.”
“Jae, how much do you love Yunho?” asked Changmin as he watched Jaejoong stared somewhere else.
“Jae?” Lifting the other man’s chin, Changmin then secured his hand so that Jaejoong will look at him directly.
“Min… I love him so much that it hurts me. It hurts me that I am no longer deserving of his love. It hurts that he did not change. If only he chose to look for someone else then I’ll be flooded with relief.”
“Will you really be able to take it if he has someone else already?”
“Min… I”
“No Jae. Stop talking like this. Just grab this chance and be happy. If Yunho really loves you then he will accept everything just like what I did.” Placing a peck on Jaejoong’s forehead, Changmin then bid goodbye for he will be late on his meeting that morning.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For the next few days, Jaejoong received flowers from the man he thought he will never be able to claim again. The employees often teased him because of how he smiled whenever one of them handed him the gifts being delivered from ‘his secret admirer’.
“Mr. Kim, there is another delivery…”
“Huh? Haven't I already received one this morning?” Jaejoong asked, confused while staring at the bunch of flowers on the couch inside his office.
“Yes Mr. Kim but this one is special.” The secretary said as she emphasized the last word.
“Oh, well bring it inside if it’s not heavy.”
“Alright Mr. Kim.”
After a few seconds, a cute loud voice rang inside his office that was heard up to the outside hall.
“UMMA!!!”
“Binnie!?” Jaejoong squealed happily as he open his arms wide for his son to jump in. Once Moonbin was secured in his hug, Jaejoong twirled and almost lose balance but luckily Yunho managed to catch him in time.
“Careful Jae…” Yunho said that got Jaejoong surprised as he looked behind his back and stared at him.
“Yun…” Jaejoong mumbled shyly.
The two made it up on the phone since Yunho has a lot to do in his office. Jaejoong was still sad but it brought him relief when Yunho talked to him as if the man was not upset at him at all.
“Well, I called Changmin asking him if I can fetch Moonbin and bring him here and he agreed so here we are.” Yunho voiced.
“Surprise?” he said with a grin.
“I’m really surprised Yun and I’m happy.”
“Umma, umma. Can we eat dinner with Yun ahjussi?” Moonbin tugged on his shirt and stared at him with those cute hopeful eyes that gave Jaejoong no choice but to agree so after 30 minutes, here they were in Moonbin’s favorite restaurant.
“Here let me wipe it Bin.” While Yunho was wiping the sauce out of Moonbin’s face, Jaejoong received a call from Changmin asking if he was okay or if he needed him to fetch them both but Jaejoong told Changmin they were okay and there’s no need to worry about.
“How are things with you and Changmin?” Yunho asked. Both of them were watching Moonbin play on the playground with other children.
“We’re living together…” as soon as Jaejoong said that, he regretted doing so. From the looks on Yunho’s face, he knew the man was devastated and it seemed his heart got broken once again.
“Don’t get me wrong Yun. We’re best friends and Changmin has a boyfriend that he really loves. They both insisted we stay so Binnie and I did besides Binnie can’t cope up with new surrounding easily especially if he has stayed in that certain place for too long.” He defended that eventually got Yunho’s smile back on.
“But Moonbin stayed with your parents, right?” Yunho asked this time he was confused and suspicious.
“Yes but Yun, Changmin often bring Moonbin to his home when he’s free. Kibum will sometimes baby sit my son. Oh and Minnie have one of the room remodeled in a way that it look like the same room Bin has in the Kim’s mansion.” Jaejoong reasoned.
Yunho thought for a moment before speaking again. “Jae… I’m starting new with you. I hope it’s clear?”
“Yes Yun. I’m not naïve but Yun I think it’s best if we become friends for now. I’m still not ready…” breaking the eye contact, Jaejoong once again fixed his gaze to his son.
“Jae please look at me.” When the younger man did not comply, Yunho had put his hand on the other man’s chin and made Jaejoong face him.
“I will wait however long it takes. I wanted this chance and I know how you wanted it too. I will put my trust in you and wait for the time that you will be able to tell me everything. I know you are hiding something. Just… just give me this chance Jae…” He caressed the smaller man’s cheek and waited for what Jaejoong will say.
“Yun. Will you really do as you promise? Will you really stay in love with me?” Jaejoong asked, this time there were tears forming on the corner of his eyes that was threatening to fall.
“I never broke my promise Jae. When it comes to you, everything was fixed. I’m a one-word man. You know that I will never hurt you.”
“I-I yun…I’m scared… I~” but before they can talk more, Moonbin came back to the table and asked the two adult to take a picture with him on the beautifully landscaped garden outside.
The place was filled with different flowers and plants. All the flowers were on its full bloom which made the place even more beautiful.
There, they took a lot of pictures of themselves, sometimes it was only Moonbin or the child partnered with either Yunho or Jaejoong but Moonbin wanted a picture of them three so Yunho asked one of the waiters to take one for them.
“1,2,3 Smile” the waiter instructed.
Once Yunho had gotten hold of the camera, Jaejoong tiptoed to take a look at it too. The forgotten Moonbin then tugged on Jaejoong’s shirt because Moonbin was excited too. Instead of Jaejoong, it was Yunho who brought Moonbin off the ground and carry the young boy on his arms. The three of them then stared at the photo of their undeniably happy faces with Moonbin being squished in the middle. Yunho’s other hand was on Jaejoong’s back trying to pull the younger man closer. Jaejoong’s head was tilted to the side where it gently leaned on Moonbin’s head.
‘A happy family’, the thought made Jaejoong’s smile falter a little. Don’t get him wrong. Being with Yunho really brought him happiness, love and hopefulness but that hopefulness always made him think of the ‘what ifs’.
Before they leave the restaurant, Jaejoong excused himself to go to the comfort room thus giving Yunho and Moonbin some time alone. At first, Yunho was just quiet as he watched Moonbin play with the displays on the garden but his curiosity decided to bother him so he tried to get Moonbin’s attention. Luckily, the kid did.
“Bin, how’s your stay with your umma?”
With the head tilted to the side cutely, Moonbin eyes sparkled as he told Yunho everything, “Umma… umma always sleep beside me. He hugs me and caresses me and hums a song for me when I sleep. Umma never wants me out of his sight. He makes sure that Binnie’s alright. I really missed umma, ahjussi. I really love umma.” The kid beamed brightly.
Yunho’s lips curved into a smile as he took in the emotions being shown on the child’s face.
“He loves you too Bin. He loves you so much.” Yunho told the child.
“I know that Yun ahjussi. I heard umma every time umma tells me he loves me when I am sick and even at Grandma and Grandpa’s house.”
“You do?” Yunho asked in wonder while Moonbin just nodded his head as he eyed his mother lovingly.
“Let’s go home?” with Yunho’s arm secured on Jaejoong’s waist, the trio then drove off back to Changmin’s house much to Yunho’s annoyance. He was never the jealous type but some things have to change and the jealous trait was under consideration.
On the way, Jaejoong received a call from Changmin again that he won’t be able to go home since Kibum was sick and no one was there to attend to his boyfriend. He asked if Jaejoong was alright and would just sleep tonight on the Kim’s house but Jaejoong told Changmin that Moonbin and he would be fine.
“Are you really okay on your own Jae?” Yunho asked worriedly. The Kim’s once told him that Jaejoong was scared of being alone especially if it was not an adult he knew that was accompanying him.
“Ye-yes… Yun.” Jaejoong unsurely replied.
“Ah Jae. Is it alright if I just invite you to my house since you don’t want to bother your parents this late at night?”
“Yun, Bin’s not used to sleep somewhere else… what if he can’t sleep? He still has class tomorrow.” Jaejoong gently shifted the weight from right to left since his arm was already getting numb.
“But Jae…” Yunho paused. “Let me just head towards my condominium since its closer here. I will get a few things and I’ll stay with the two of you. Changmin wouldn’t mind right?”
FYI: Yunho has both house and a condominium.
“I’ll call Min. I guess he won’t mind.”
Jaejoong made a quick call to his best friend who was already tired base from the man’s voice on the phone. Jaejoong told Changmin that Yunho will be staying in the house and Changmin agreed because Jaejoong was not used being alone and Moonbin was not into sleeping in other houses thus it’ll just cause them trouble.
When everything was confirmed, Yunho then diverted their way to his condo instead of his house because it was far from where they were. He had Jaejoong wait patiently inside his car that was parked at the private lot of the building. It would be a hassle if Jaejoong move since he was still carrying Moonbin.
The light from the car might have taken someone else’s attention. It scared the hell out of Jaejoong when a stranger knocked on the window.
“Yun…” Jaejoong then switched off the light from the car so that the stranger would not be able to see the two of them.
“Yun where are you….?”
The knocking only stopped when the door from the driver’s seat was opened that made Jaejoong scream in surprise, waking his son in the process.
“Jae?”
“Umma?”
Yunho and Moonbin called at the same time.
“What’s wrong Jae?” Yunho closed the door again before moving to the other side to check on Jaejoong.
“There is someone knocking and he won’t stop. I’m just scared…” Jaejoong sobbed as he held Moonbin closer to him.
“Sir I’m sorry. I did not mean to scare your wife. I was just inspecting the place and noticed that the light in your car was open so I checked if someone was inside.” The guard apologized once he saw how Jaejoong reacted from what he did.
“I can’t say it’s alright since my wife’s really scared but I know you’re just doing your job so I’ll let it pass.” Yunho told him.
“Thank you sir and I am sorry madam.” The guard bowed once and left Yunho to handle the situation.
“Jae… it’s alright. Calm down honey please…” Both Moonbin and Yunho wiped the tears away from Jaejoong’s face. Moonbin even hummed a song for his mother to stop trembling. Soon, Jaejoong stopped crying and muttered an apology to Yunho who in turn just place a kiss on the younger man’s forehead.
“It’s good that I did not let you go home alone. If you’re this scared now then what more later?”
“I’m sorry Yun… and thank you.”
“It’s okay Jae.” Yunho replied understandingly.
“Umma is Yun ahjussi my appa?” Moonbin mumbled sleepily.
‘I hope so Binnie.’ Jaejoong thought.
“Bin. Yun ahjussi is just playing with the guard. Forget about it okay?” Yunho told the still sleepy Moonbin
“But I love ahjussi. Why can’t ahjussi be my appa, umma?” the kid stared at Jaejoong intensely that it made him uncomfortable.
“Bin. Let your umma rest okay?”
“Okay ahjussi.” The kid said obediently.
Once Moonbin was fast asleep again, Yunho halted his car to see how Jaejoong was doing. The younger man was also asleep. Relief flooded Yunho when Jaejoong sobs finally subsided. It pained him to see how Jaejoong was scared from a mere event like a while ago. It was a simple misunderstanding and Jaejoong was never like that before. It seemed that his Jaejoong developed a phobia from the years they were not together.
Yunho regretted leaving but he was too heartbroken five years ago. Maybe if he did not leave and tried pursuing Jaejoong then the younger man would not have been like this.
“Jae… if only I can turn back the time…” Yunho sighed. He stroked the cheeks he missed so much. A smile gently formed from Jaejoong’s face so Yunho had withdrawn his hand, scared that Jaejoong might be awakened.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once Yunho arrived in front of the Choikang’s, he lightly shook Jaejoong so Jae will wake up.
When the gate was opened, Yunho parked his car just beside the car owned by Jaejoong. Then he opened the door from Jaejoong’s side and gently lifted Jaejoong who has Moonbin still secured in his arms.
Yunho carefully brought them inside with the aid of an old maid towards Jaejoong’s room. He managed to lift the two because Jaejoong plus Moonbin’s weight were still light. He would have to talk to Jaejoong about it so the mother and son will gain weight.
“Hnnggg.” Jaejoong stirred once Yunho settled him down on the bed.
“Sshh… sleep Jae.” Yunho cooed. When he’s sure that both Jaejoong and Moonbin were sleeping soundly, he placed a kiss on the duo’s forehead.
“Ah Madam.” Yunho asked politely.
“Why are there two beds here? I thought Jae and Moonbin sleep on one bed?”
“It is for you Mr. Jung. Young Master Changmin called us and asked us to bring an extra bed inside Young Master Jaejoong’s room.”
“Oh. Thank you. I’m sorry for disturbing your sleep. I can manage from here. Good night madam.”
“Yes. Good night Mr. Jung.” The maid bowed and closed the door once she left.
“Jae, look what happened! I told you to change your clothes but you just lie down and slept like a log.”
“But Yunnie… I’m really tired and sleepy…” Jaejoong pouted.
“But Joongie baby. You do know that you get allergies when you don’t wash yourself right? See. These are the proofs.” Yunho showed Jaejoong the rashes on the younger man’s arms and the red patches on Jaejoong’s cheek through the mirror.
“I’m sorry Yunnie… I’ll just drink my medicine, okay? Don’t get mad anymore. I love you Yunnie…”
‘Is he still like that?’
Standing from the bed, Yunho walked towards Jaejoong and gently woke the man up. If Jaejoong has still that allergy then he should wash up tonight besides the man was wearing a light make-up.
“Hmmm Yun?” Jaejoong mumbled sleepily.
“Jae, I know you’re tired but you have to change your clothes and wash your face. You don’t want your allergy to act up again, right?”
Jaejoong sat up straight once he heard the word allergy causing him to stumble out of dizziness.
“Careful Jae.” Yunho’s hand found its way immediately on the younger man’s body to support Jaejoong.
“Mianhe Yun.” Jaejoong muttered with a pout.
After Jaejoong finished taking a quick shower, Yunho followed while Jaejoong was undressing Moonbin. The child was not a light sleeper so it was okay to change him. He waited for Yunho before dozing off to sleep once again. He has still a lot to thank the man. Although there were still people Jaejoong knew in the mansion, he still did not feel safe around if Changmin’s not there. The man was like his security blanket. Without him, he felt insecure and paranoid.
“Ah Jae, why are you still awake?” Yunho asked as he emerged from the bathroom. He has one of his hands on his head and a towel.
“Thank you for staying with us Yun. I know it’s hard for you but you still did it for Moonbin and for me.”
Yunho walked towards Jaejoong and gently held the man’s face with his hands.
“I wanted you safe Jae. I’ll do anything for you.” He told him sincerely.
“Thank you Yu-” even if it was a chaste kiss, it still felt wonderful for the both of them that after five years, they had finally able to feel each other’s sleep once again.
“Sleep Jae. You still have work tomorrow.” Yunho pecked Jaejoong’s nose and proceed to his bed.
“Good night Yun…”
“Good night Jae.”
It was one of those nights that Jaejoong really missed. He missed those nights when Yunho and he were on the same bed, cuddling and sleeping. Time to time, Yunho would whisper something on his ear that he will either respond or not.
Jaejoong missed this warm feeling. Despite not being on the same bed, the warmth and the assurance that he’ll be always safe were radiating from the man lying on the other bed. Through Yunho, he felt relaxed and peaceful. If only Jaejoong did not become a coward before then maybe Yunho and him were creating a big family now.
“It’s not the time to regret… he’s here with me now. I won’t ever let him go again…” Jaejoong mumbled and soon he was dozing off with Yunho and Moonbin on his mind.
“What?! Oh God. Oh God. Why now?” Jaejoong shrieked in horror when one of his crews informed him that two of the children for the Vogue Kids got sick. Everyone on the set was frantic because there were no substitutes ready. Delaying the shoot for one day will cause Jaejoong’s credibility to go into crumble because it was one of Jaejoong's major projects.
Jaejoong was trying every connection he has but the photographer could not accept the pictures of the kids that were being sent from the agencies.
“Jaejoong, they won’t do. I need angelic looking kids. These kids just won’t do. Jaejoong you knew that I’m very particular with my models.” The photographer demanded.
“But Hye sun, we have no time. You know that we cannot delay this project.” Jaejoong reasoned.
“My dear Jaejoong. Do you want the pictures to look cheap? These kids won’t do… I need someone who is sweet and playful at the same time. Come on Jaejoong, I know you know someone of that description.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While Jaejoong was busy sorting out the pictures, unexpected guests arrived in the set that surprised him once again.
“Umma umma umma!” Moonbin ran towards Jaejoong. Moonbin almost knocked the light lamp on the way.
“Bin, careful…” Jaejoong scolded but soon giggled when his cute lovable child showered him with kisses.
“Yes. Perfect!” Hye sun squealed in delight once she saw the kids. Her eyes were busy scanning them the moment they arrived.
“They are perfect Jaejoong.” She once again stated.
“Moonbin and Minhae?” a new voice butted in.
“Moonbin and Minhae.” Hye sun repeated. She smiled in delight as those kids stared at her curiously.
“Names just suitable for beautiful angels. Jaejoong prepare them now. We cannot delay this shoot any longer.” Hye sun who was obviously eager and excited to start the shoot said.
“Yun-ah… you’re my savior. Thank you for bringing my son and-” Jaejoong’s arms were reaching forward to envelope Yunho in a hug.
“Your daughter is really beautiful.” The woman behind the camera complimented.
“Yes she is. Thank you.” Yunho replied. He did not notice that Jaejoong’s smile turned into a frown.
“Yes… your daughter Yun… Thank you for bringing them. Now, if you’ll excuse me.” Yunho was not able to get a grip of Jaejoong because the younger man was faster. He’ll just clear things to him later.
‘Boo you’ve never changed… but I like this side of you… Well, I guess I just wait for Yuna…’ Yunho thought as he watched Jaejoong walked a little sulky compared before.
“Umma what are we going to do?” Moonbin curiously asked as the make-up artist put a light foundation on the kid’s face.
“You’re going to model for umma, baby. Just be natural okay?” Jaejoong smiled radiantly seeing Moonbin wearing the clothes he made just for him.
“Neh umma. I’ll do my best for umma.” Moonbin said determinedly with those cute sparkling eyes..
“You’re always the best Bin. You always do your best for me.” Jaejoong heartwarmingly said then he placed a kiss on top of the child's head.
After half an hour of make-up and dressing preparation, the shoot began with Moonbin and Minhae as the main stars. There were two other children but the one shining and most noticeable was Moonbin. Eyes were all fixed on him. Even the parents of the other kids looked at him dearly.
“There, okay smile. Be playful.” Hye sun instructed.
Every flash of the light, her smile will be wider because of satisfaction. The children were the perfect choice and they were not giving the photographer a hard time unlike what other kid models do.
“Good. Look straight ahead. Smile. Minhae dear look to your right and Moonbin smile and look to your left.”
“The kids are great, right Jae?” Yunho muttered. He found his way and stood beside Jaejoong who has his eyes directed on his son.
“Yes they are Yun…” Jaejoong paused and took a deep breath.
“Your daughter looks really great. She’s beautiful… just like your sister Yun.” He mumbled sadly.
“Of course she is Jae. Minhae-”
“Jaejoong?” Both Yunho and Jaejoong turned their heads when a certain person called. You can see that Jaejoong’s eyes were twinkling once he saw the new visitor.
“Noona!” Jaejoong ran towards the woman and enveloped her in a hug.
“I really missed you!” Jaejoon almost yelled but he remembered that they were on a set, he should be careful.
“I miss you too Joongie... how have you been?” the woman asked but her eyes were directed at his brother.
“I’m doing good Noona. Oh, but what are you doing here?” he asked with a puzzled expression.
“Yunho called saying that my daughter will suddenly have to model for a special someone. Since I am out of work early, I decided to drop by besides I’m really curious about the special someone.” She replied casually.
“Your daughter?” Jaejoong questioned with his head tilted cutely to the side.
“uh huh. Minhae… is she doing okay?” Yuna asked as she searched for her daughter. Once she found her, Yuna waved and received a smile in return.
“Minhae? Minhae’s your daughter and not Yunho’s?”
“Geez Joongie. Do you think Yunho will ever get married if it’s not you who’s going to be the wife and the mother?” She playfully and lightly hit Jaejoong on his head.
Yuna’s statement brought the blush on both Jaejoong and Yunho’s cheek. Yunho’s blushing due to having caught red handed and Jaejoong’s because of the bold statement.
“Yah! Yuna.” Yunho retaliated.
“What? I’m merely stating the truth besides will you ever learn to call me noona? Despite us being twin, I’m still older for about 30 seconds.” She said with her arms crossed.
“But you’re acting like you’re younger than Jae and even younger than Minhae.”
“Okay okay stop it.” Jaejoong chuckled as he got in between.
“The photo shoot will end soon, please have a dinner with us? I really miss you Noona. We have a lot to catch up.”
“Yes Joongie. Go on. I don’t want to trouble you at work.”
Once Jaejoong was gone, Yuna eyed his twin brother suspiciously, wanting to know every detail that Yunho was hiding from her.
“Spill it Jung Yunho.” The woman said firmly. Don’t get her wrong. She’s not mad or anything. In truth, she was really happy to see Jaejoong again. Just a little teasing won’t hurt his brother.
“Yuna, can’t we talk about it later?” Yunho begged.
“Yes but you have to tell me everything Yunho. As in everything.”
Seeing that he can no longer avoid his sister, Yunho just nodded his head in agreement before leaving Yuna to find where Jaejoong was.
The photo shoot ended in time for an early dinner. Hye sun had invited Jaejoong and the kids to eat with them but Jaejoong refused since he already asked Yuna with the same invitation. He promised to the woman that he’ll just treat her next time besides it was not the end of them working together. Hye sun was one of the people that Jaejoong trusted.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jaejoong, Yunho and Yuna drove towards Moonbin’s favorite restaurant using separate cars. It was the same place they ate days before. Moonbin was with Jaejoong while Minhae was on her mother’s car. It took them ten minutes from the site to the restaurant.
As soon as they arrived, Moonbin dashed out of the car and stomped his way inside without waiting for anyone. The waiter greeted the familiar child since Jaejoong and Moonbin always ate there every weekend.
“Good evening Mr. Kim.” The waiter greeted while sneaking some glances to the tall man that Jaejoong brought before.
“Good evening. May I have a table for five?” Jaejoong asked.
“This way sir.” The waiter showed the way to a private part of the restaurant. Everyone knew about Jaejoong so they already know where to have them seated whenever they visit the place.
“Mr. Kim looked really happy, right?” Doojun, one of the waiters whispered.
“Yeah… but Mr. Shim is not with him. It’s quite unusual although he was with the same man before.” Jonghyun commented.
“I guess you’ll have to get back to work guys.” Shinye, the manager butted in.
“Sorry Manager Park.” The two bowed and hurriedly made their way towards the counter.
Jaejoong excused both Moonbin and him before starting to eat and Yunho took this chance to warn his sister.
“Yuna, don’t ask Jae anything about the past. Just let him talk. Never ask about Bin, okay?” Yunho whispered since Minhae was eyeing them curiously.
“I will take that in mind Yunho.”
After a moment, Jaejoong came back with a newly dressed Moonbin in a casual and comfortable set of clothes. Jaejoong also changed his clothes into a simple jeans and a v-neck long sleeve while his son wore a pair of shorts and a baby blue polo.
“How have you been Noona?” Jaejoong broke the silence once he finally made sure that Moonbin was at ease on his seat.
“I’m fine Jae. Six years happily married and with Minhae, Ah in and I are happy.”
“I’m happy for you too noona. Wait, this only means that Minhae is my goddaughter, right?” Jaejoong asked cutely.
Yuna nodded.
“Wow. My Minhae grew really beautiful just like you Noona…”
“Of course Jae. It’s me we are talking about.” Yuna boasted playfully earning a roll in the eye from Yunho.
“Geez Yunho.” Yuna pouted then not so gently hit his brother on the arm.
When the food arrived, Yunho lifted Moonbin off the chair to put the kid on his lap and fed him instead of Jaejoong doing the feeding.
“Say ahh Bin.” Yunho instructed which the kid gladly obeyed.
Both Jaejoong and Yuna were watching as Yunho make Moonbin eat while Minhae only stuffed herself with the food besides it was her favorite cuisine she was eating.
Once everyone was done, they left the restaurant with promises from Yuna and Jaejoong that they will meet again soon to have a long talk. It has been five years and there were a lot of things to catch up. Yunho was trailing Jaejoong’s car with his to ensure the younger man’s safety as well as Moonbin’s. He felt so close towards Moonbin that he wished the kid was Jaejoong and his son. Even Yuna noticed the resemblance but if he was really Moonbin’s father then Jaejoong would have already told him so before instead of leaving him.
“Yun. Go home now. Changmin’s here. You don’t have to worry.”
“But Jae… it is rare that we can be alone.” Yunho whined like a child.
“Hmm… but it’s getting late. You still have to drive.” Jaejoong retaliated.
“Jae why are you so eager in shooing me away? You won’t even give me a goodbye kiss.” Yunho pouted, this time he pulled Jaejoong dangerously close to him.
Jaejoong was now blushing so he tried to avoid Yunho’s gaze.
“Hey…” Yunho whispered on Jaejoong’s ears.
“Yun… someone might see us…” Jaejoong tried to push Yunho away but the other man would not budge even an inch. He was still leaving sweet kisses on Jaejoong’s neck and cheeks.
“I love you Jae. I will always love you.” Yunho mumbled before pulling Jaejoong’s face closer through the chin and planted a firm kiss on the younger man’s lips. It was a long gentle kiss.
“Hmm…” Jaejoong moaned and a flash of what happened in Paris crossed his mind making him push Yunho a little harder.
“Jae?” Yunho sounded hurt.
“I-I’m sorry Yun… let’s just meet tomorrow okay?” Jaejoong was sorry but the memories of before scared him.
“Yes. I’ll see you tomorrow.” Yunho placed a final kiss on Jaejoong’s forehead before entering his car and driving off to his place.
‘I’m sorry Yun… give me more time…’
Jaejoong watched as Yunho’s car slowly faded away from his sight. He has his arm crossed over his chest as he thought about the kiss he shared with Yunho awhile ago and how Yunho looked when the man was rejected.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Changmin found Jaejoong still starting outside the window. He slowly made his way towards the man and gently tapped him so Jaejoong won’t get scared.
“Min…” Jaejoong mumbled sadly. Changmin got worried when Jaejoong suddenly cried.
“Hey Jae, what’s wrong?” Changmin pulled Jaejoong onto his chest and caressed the older man’s hair.
“Yun… I’ve hurt him…”
Changmin did not say anything instead he guided Jaejoong to the couch and let the man sit on it.
“Stop crying Jae. Yunho will always understand you.” Changmin reassured Jaejoong so the older man would not get insecure anymore.
“You didn’t see the look on his face Min!” The tone of Jaejoong rose as he suddenly faced Changmin with his tear-stricken face.
Realizing what he did, Jaejoong immediately apologized to his best friend.
“It’s alright Jae… you’re tired so take a rest. You still have a lot of work to do tomorrow.”
Changmin checked Jaejoong for the last time before leaving the said man. Moonbin would be sleeping with Changmin tonight because of Jaejoong’s condition.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yunho got home with only the incident awhile ago clouding his mind. It was the initial reaction from him when Jaejoong pushed him and he was really sorry for it. His saddened reaction caused Jaejoong to feel guilty which was not supposed to happen.
As much as possible, Yunho wanted Jaejoong to feel comfortable and happy when the man was with him. Starting tomorrow, he will make sure to act careful of being intimate with the younger man or else they will both end up in an awkward situation.
“If only my boo will tell me the truth then I will be able to help him.”
Yunho took a sip from his wine and began typing the report for his meeting tomorrow but his concentration was far off and he knew he won’t be able to continue at all. He tried to call Jaejoong for a few times and on the fifth ring, Jaejoong answered.
“Yun…” Jaejoong’s voice was strained obviously from crying.
“Jae did you just cried?” Yunho asked although he already knew that Jaejoong will just lie.
“No… It was because of work Yun.”
“Boo.” The name slipped from Yunho’s mouth. Despite not having to face each other, the two knew what each other reactions would be.
“I-I’m sorry Jae… good night. I’ll see you tomorrow.” Yunho was about to hang up but was stopped with those magic words.
“I love you Yun…” then the line went dead.
Jaejoong’s heart was racing too much when he heard Yunho calling him that same pet name while Yunho’s heart was threatening to jump out of his chest when Jaejoong told him I love you Yun. Yunho was definitely happy but he has to clear things with Jaejoong tomorrow. He would not assume things, not yet and he would still be careful in touching his boo.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next day went well for Jaejoong. He was undeniably happy because of last night but was quite nervous when Yunho called him just this morning before he drove to work. Yunho wanted to talk to him alone so he called Changmin to fetch his son at school. The invitation sounded a date but Jaejoong refused to think that it was like that. Although Yunho and he were kissing, their relationship was still not established. They were still ex-lovers and friends.
Once in a while, Jaejoong will check the clock hang on the wall. Yunho will fetch him at 5:00 pm and it was 10 to 5 already. He kept on fidgeting while he organized the paper works he just finished. In no time, the secretary announced Yunho’s arrival.
When Jaejoong opened the door to his office, he was surprised with a large bouquet of flower blocking his view. It was roses… a bunch of roses and it was being carried by his Yunho.
“Delivery for Mr. Kim Jaejoong.” Yunho said loudly that made the employees who were inside the room giggled.
Jaejoong’s mouth formed an ‘o’ as he helped Yunho with the roses. They lowered it and put it over the table in his office.
“Hey you’re so cute like that and it makes me want to kiss you.” Yunho teasingly whispered.
“Yah!” Jaejoong pouted while covering his face with his hands.
“So Mr. Kim Jaejoong, are you ready for our dinner date?” The older man playfully asked, his was smile so genuine as if nothing had happened.
“Oh… it’s really date?” Jaejoong asked excitedly.
With one eyebrow raised, Yunho stared at Jaejoong intensely.
“Yah don’t do that Yun. I’m just asking.” Since Yunho could not help it anymore, he kissed those pout away making Jaejoong blush once again and his promise of being careful with Jaejoong was broken.
“Boo… I mean Jae come on let’s leave, eh?”
The two were already out the door when Jaejoong quickly dashed back inside to get the flowers from where they left it. Yunho chuckled seeing how excited his Jaejoong was but he knew… deep inside the younger man was nervous. Yunho knew Jaejoong too well and Jaejoong has no idea how Yunho can read him like an open book.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yunho brought Jaejoong to one of the finest restaurant in Seoul despite Jaejoong’s protests about just going to a simpler place. In the end, Yunho won the argument thus they were now sitting in one of the VIP section of the place for Jaejoong’s comfort.
They ordered food and waited in silence. Jaejoong saw how unease Yunho was that moment so he chose to broke the awkward atmosphere and talked to Yunho.
“Yun I’m sorry about yesterday… I didn’t mean to do that…” Jaejoong said as his eyes avoid looking at Yunho
“Actually Jae, the only thing I remember about yesterday was when you say you love me before hanging up.” The older man said straight-forwardly making the other blush furiously while covering his face with his hands.
“Boo…” Yunho called as he stood up and sat beside Jaejoong.
“Hey stop doing that…” Yunho tried to pry off the hands but Jaejoong wouldn’t budge.
“If you won’t let me see your face this instant, I will kiss you.” Yunho threatened making the younger man follow him but Yunho still stole a kiss from Jaejoong who pouted in return only to receive another peck from Yunho.
“Yun…” Jaejoong whined while he playfully hit Yunho on his arm.
“What?” the man asked innocently.
Yunho was about to kiss Jaejoong again but the waiter interrupted them and placed their food on the table. Yunho moved to his original place only to stare at Jaejoong while the man was eating.
“Stop it Yun. You better eat now before the food become cold.”
Once they were done eating, Jaejoong felt the atmosphere becoming serious. He tried to calm his self by breathing in and out but he was still nervous. He will always be nervous when it comes to a serious Yunho.
Yunho brought Jaejoong to the park where they first met. Yunho never once talk while on the way making Jaejoong’s heart beat like crazy.
“Yun do you still remember this place?” Jaejoong asked as he broke the silence.
“Of course Jae. This is where an angel fell down on me.” Yunho replied while staring at the place where he caught Jaejoong after falling.
~~~~~~FLASHBACK~~~~~
Jaejoong was busy sketching random things when he noticed how the children in the park crowded a certain place. He grew curious so he walked towards them and tapped one of the kids gently on the shoulder.
“Little boy what’s wrong?” He asked softly.
“Hyung… our ball got caught on the branches…” the boy sounded so sad and it broke Jaejoong’s heart so he volunteered to get the ball. The children all jumped in glee and stepped back to give Jaejoong a space.
“Oppa, be careful.” One of the kids said.
Jaejoong was known for being clumsy but the man was not aware of that. He climbed carefully and has the ball already in reach. He held unto one of the branches to provide balance as he tip-toed his feet to give him added height. Jaejoong successfully reached the ball and throw it to the kids making sure that he won’t hit anyone of them.
The children were still watching him and winced as he slipped a little. Luckily, Jaejoong managed to hold something for stability. He sighed in relief but once he opened his eyes, Jaejoong got the biggest scare of his life that made his hand lose its grip on the branches. He heard the children screamed in horror when he was falling. For him, his movement was so slow. He even managed to think of how much would it hurt him once he reached the cement floor but the pain did not occur at all. Jaejoong has his eyes still close but he can hear the children cheered for a reason he did not know.
“Hey are you alright?” He heard a man speak.
Slowly, Jaejoong opened his eye. He was still a little scared despite being saved.
“Kids he’s fine now. You can play again.” Yunho told the children who left them hesitantly one by one.
“Are you hurt anywhere?” Yunho asked once again.
“N-no. You can put me down. I’m okay.” Jaejoong replied after being stunned from the man’s handsomeness. He knew he has been staring so much but he can’t help it. The man was simply stunning. He was the prince he has been waiting.
“I’ve been watching you. You are doing fine until the end. What scared you?” Yunho did not receive any response from the smaller man.
“Ah. I’m Yunho. Jung Yunho. Now that I’m not a stranger anymore, can you answer my question?” He asked playfully earning a smile from the angel he just met.
“I’m Kim Jaejoong. I’m sorry about that.” Yunho has his hand still on Jaejoong’s waist but no one noticed it yet.
“There’s a really big spider when I opened my eyes and I’m totally scared of those scary creatures. I thought it is going to bite me. It’s really big Yunho. If it was you, you will be scared also.” But Yunho was not listening at all. The taller man was simply drowning into Jaejoong’s doe-eyes. Even after Jaejoong explained his side, Yunho did not talk. He only stared at the beautiful man until they got disturbed.
“Jaejoong!” They heard a group yell.
“What are you doing to him?” The new comer pushed off Yunho, thinking that he was trying to hurt Jaejoong.
“Oh. I’m sorry Yunho.”
“You know him Jae?” Jiwoon eyed the man as he wait for Jaejoong’s answer.
“Yes hyung. He actually helped me.” Hearing the word help, Jiwoon sighed in relief. Jaejoong has been getting help once in a while because of his clumsiness.
“I’m Jiwoon and they are Minho, Gyuri and Hara.” He introduced and pointed out the others.
“I’m Jung Yunho.” They shook hands and once again turn their attention back to Jaejoong who stared at them nervously.
“So what happened this time?” Hara asked with one eyebrow raised.
“I fell from the tree and~~” Jaejoong began but was stopped when both Gyuri and Hara suddenly hugged him.
“Are you alright? Are you hurt? We’ll bring you to the hospital.”
“I’m okay noona. Yunho caught me before I even hurt myself.”
“Guessing from the way you speak, it only means that these things are not new to you.” Yunho stated.
“Well, Jaejoong is so clumsy that his day won’t be complete if he isn’t hurt. May it be little or as dangerous like this.” Gyuri said.
“Well, I guess you got yourself another friend and savior Jaejae.” Jaejoong smiled at the thought of having Yunho as his new friend.
~~~~~~END OF FLASHBACK~~~~~
“Yun what are you thinking off?” Jaejoong asked when the man stopped talking.
“I just remember the day I first met you. It’s really funny how you became friends with Jiwoon, Gyuri, Hara and Minho. I remember that you stopped talking to me for awhile when I laughed at you. You’re really clumsy boo.”
“Yah! It’s not my fault that those things happened to me.”
“At least you earn good friends Jae…”
“I know Yun and they are still my friends until now.”
“That’s good to here. I really want to meet them again. It’s been a long time.”
“Well, the four are already married Yun. I’m the only one left…” Jaejoong said absentmindedly.
Yunho stared at Jaejoong for a long time as the silence engulfed them. He sighed really hard out of nervousness. He palmed Jaejoong’s face with his hands and lean closer to the smaller man before placing a quick kiss on Jaejoong’s lips. After that, Yunho pulled away from Jaejoong and stared intensely at him.
“Then let’s get married.”
Chapter 9
Ninth Page
“Then let’s get married.” Yunho said in a tone where you can recognize sincerity, love and finality. His bold statement got Jaejoong stunned the moment it left his lips.
If Yunho asked him five years ago before that thing happen then he would have said yes but things had changed and he could not agreed so easily without Yunho knowing the whole truth.
Yunho waited for Jaejoong to response but it seemed that the smaller man was tongue tied. He felt sad but he knew that he can never force Jaejoong into this so he decided to just change the statement as long as he can claim Jaejoong as his.
“Be mine again Jaejoong. As long as you are mine then it felt like that we are already married.” Yunho breathed hard with a sign of nervousness.
This time Jaejoong responded. Though it was weak, for Yunho it was already enough.
“Just grab this chance and be happy. If Yunho really loves you then he will accept everything just like what I did.” Jaejoong remembered what Changmin told him. He knew himself that he could no longer afford to lose this man once again.
“I’ll be yours again Yun. I’m always yours.” Jaejoong whispered as he was engulfed within the arms of the only person who managed to make his heart beat as if it wanted to move out of his chest.
“I love you Jae.” Yunho said as he twirled Jaejoong and left quick kisses on the smaller man’s face.
“I love you too Yun and I miss you so much.” That moment, Jaejoong cried out his heart to Yunho. Saying that he was happy wasn’t enough to express how much he felt to be with Yunho once again. Even yunho cried as he soothed Jaejoong with his hand.
Yunho drove off from the park towards his house without letting go of Jaejoong’s hand. They never once broke the silence in the car; instead, they talk through body language. Yunho never stopped placing a kiss onto Jaejoong’s hand and if he has a chance, he pecks the smaller man’s cheeks.
Once they arrived, the two seemed to forget everything and for them nothing else matters, only them, only Kim Jaejoong and Jung Yunho.
Yunho began kissing Jaejoong when they were already in the safety of Yunho’s home. One of his hands was on the back of Jaejoong’s neck and the other was securely circled on the waist to pull the man closer than Jae already was. When they were out of breath, Yunho kisses his way towards the smaller man’s neck, earning a lovely moan from those pouty lips.
The two were so into it until Jaejoong pushed Yunho away when he felt the taller man’s hand inside his shirt.
“No! Stop it!”
To say that Yunho was hurt was right but it hurt him more when he saw Jaejoong’s frightened face after yelling at him.
Jaejoong was crying non-stop as he covered his face with his hands. Yunho chose not to touch him; instead he waited for Jaejoong’s cries to subside even a little.
When Jaejoong stopped shaking, Yunho carefully touch Jaejoong on the shoulder and when there was no response, he brought Jaejoong in the comfort of his arms.
“I’m so sorry Yun. I’m sorry. I’m sorry.” Jaejoong repeatedly muttered. He won’t stop even after Yunho told him that it’s okay.
“You don’t understand Yun. It will never be okay.” Jaejoong once again pulled away from Yunho and stared at the taller man with those hurt and scared eyes. That instant, Yunho was given an idea as to what happened to the innocent lover he once had.
“Jaejoong tell me what’s wrong. Tell me everything. I demand to know the truth.” Yunho eyed Jaejoong’s every movement, when he noticed that Jaejoong would not dare tell him anything, he got pissed a little.
“Damn it Jaejoong! How will I be able to help you if you’re running away from me like this?!”
“You won’t understand Yun. You won’t. You won’t!” Jaejoong tried to escape but Yunho’s hand was firmly on his wrist which he tried to struggle to get free, only to cause him pain.
Yunho breathed hard as he calmed down himself. Talking to Jaejoong and scaring him was not his intention but if they were to start anew then he has the right to know every truth and lies from Jaejoong.
“You’ve been raped, am I right?” Yunho asked the only question he has been meaning to ask ever since the incident where Jaejoong pushed him.
Despite knowing the answer, Yunho still asked. It was confirmed when Jaejoong stopped struggling within his hold. Yunho knew Jaejoong was ashamed but he should not so he gently cupped Jaejoong’s face and lift it up so their eyes met.
“Don’t avoid me Boo. Haven’t I told you enough how much I love you?” Yunho’s smile caught Jaejoong’s attention.
“You pabo. I love you so much and I will fucking kill that man who brought you pain all these years.” Yunho spoke.
Without letting Jaejoong respond, he began attacking Jaejoong’s lips hungrily and even forced his way towards his lover’s body.
“Stop Yun! Stop please…” Jaejoong begged but Yunho did not comply. Instead, he ripped Jaejoong’s shirt when the man tried to pry his hands off.
“All you have to remember is me Jae. Only me. It should only be Jung Yunho on your mind right now. Forget about that fucking incident and think of me.” Yunho suddenly lifted Jaejoong off the ground, brought him forcefully to his bedroom and throw the man not so gently on the bed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Rated~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yunho was lying on top of Jaejoong who was still struggling to get out of his hold. He felt his strength weakening as he watched Jaejoong cry out of fright brought by him and brought by the rape incident five years ago. He avoided looking at the smaller man’s face as he towered over Jaejoong. He has to do this for Jaejoong. He has to do this in order to help the said man.
“Yun. Yun.” Jaejoong mumbled as he pushed Yunho’s face away from him but the taller man was still stronger. His weak protests weren’t a match at all.
Yunho began licking Jaejoong’s unresponsive neck, inhaling the scent of that sweet vanilla that he truly missed, biting and sucking the skin to leave some marks as an act of claiming the already tainted angel.
Painful moans erupted from the smaller man but Yunho would not be bothered by any interruptions but once Jaejoong stopped struggling, Yunho also halted his movements and have his breathing synchronized with the way Jaejoong heaved.
“Oh God I’m so sorry Joongie…” Yunho lifted Jaejoong’s head from the bed and brought it closer to him. The look on the man’s face was enough for him to stop whatever he intended to do.
“I’m sorry Yun. I’m sorry. If I’m not weak then that wouldn’t even happen… Please… please don’t leave me Yun. I love you so much and it hurts how I no longer deserve to be happy with you.” Jaejoong tightened his hold onto Yunho, afraid that the man will leave him that instant.
“I will never ever leave you. How long am I going to prove that I love you, huh Kim Jaejoong?” Yunho faced Jaejoong and smiled upon seeing those big doe eyes.
“Stop crying now baby… I’ll let you rest.” Yunho wasn’t able to leave because Jaejoong has gripped firmly onto the man’s dress shirt.
Yunho’s breathing hitched as he anticipated for whatever Jaejoong was going to say. Once he heard it, he smiled because now he knew that their relationship will be even better.
“Make love to me Yun and make me forget about him.”
Yunho began his action by kissing Jaejoong on the lips so passionately. Their tongue’s battled in dominance but Yunho will always win. Jaejoong released a moan when Yunho began teasing his nipples. Yunho’s tongue darted on it, playing with the buds and biting on it while his hand was pinching the other.
“Yunnie…”
Yunho and Jaejoong were undressed in no time. Yunho once again lowered his body unto Jaejoong but this time he decided to tease his Jaejoong’s erection. Jaejoong muffled his moan when Yunho had his manhood on the mouth and Yunho began bobbing his head in a fast movement.
“Ahh…” Jaejoong moaned when he felt his release nearing.
“Not yet baby.” Yunho said with a smirk while Jaejoong pouted.
This time, Yunho brought his tongue to his lover’s entrance. Jaejoong squirmed and he felt so hot when Yunho prepared him for a much bigger intrusion later. Yunho put lubrication on both his manhood and Jaejoong’s entrance. It was just right because it’s been five years ever since they made love.
“It will hurt Joongie but I’ll be gentle as I can.” Yunho whispered.
Yunho slowly pushed his length inside. He knew it was hurting the man so he stopped but Jaejoong would not let him.
“Ahh… no Yun… do it… please make love to me.”
Once his whole shaft was inside, Yunho took his time admiring Jaejoong’s flushed face. Those rosy cheeks were making him even hotter as well as those plump lips that were already swollen from his ravishing.
Yunho began with slow movement for Jaejoong to adjust. He listens to the whimpers of the man beneath him. When Yunho felt that Jaejoong had finally coped up, he gradually increased his speed making Jaejoong moan in return. How Yunho thrust was in rhythm with the way Jaejoong moan in pleasure.
Jaejoong could not deny that it hurts because he has not done it for a very long time but for Yunho, he will bear every pain just to make his lover happy. His life will be filled with Yunho, Moonbin and their soon to be family… if God will bless them.
“Ahh… n-not so fast Yun.” Jaejoong held unto Yunho’s shoulder when his sweet spot was hit over again. Yunho had raised Jaejoong’s leg and put it over his shoulder to gain more access and thrust more into the whimpering man.
A few more thrust and Jaejoong came, marking his stomach as well as Yunho’s. Seconds later, Yunho released his cum inside Jaejoong. The hot sensation made Jaejoong shiver as the liquid slowly slid out of his hole.
“Yunnnn…” Yunho placed a kiss unto the smaller man’s lips as he lied down beside him and enveloped Jaejoong into his arms.
“I love you Jae. Don’t you ever forget about it and don’t you dare doubt my love for you.” Yunho whispered and kissed Jaejoong’s cheek as well as his forehead.
“I love you too Yunnie more than you ever know.” Jaejoong raised his head and had it over the taller man’s chest to listen to the man’s heart beat.
“Let’s sleep boo… we still have a lot to talk tomorrow.” Yunho eyed the clock while reaching for the blanket and covered them both.
“Good night Yunnie. I love you.”
“Good night, my love. I love you more.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jaejoong was awakened due to the ringing of his phone. He groaned as he searched for it. Jaejoong tried to stand but wasn’t able to because Yunho’s arm was secured on his waist. Jaejoong lifted Yunho’s arm and woke the man in the process.
“What’s wrong?” Yunho mumbled as he nuzzled his nose unto Jaejoong’s neck.
“My phone Yun. I think it’s important.” Jaejoong told him. He reached it for Jaejoong since it was closer to him.
“Good morning Min.” Jaejoong greeted as soon as he answered the phone. Yunho’s eyebrow raised in question but he did not utter a single word.
From the other line, Jaejoong could hear his son crying.
“Min, what happened to Bin?” He asked in worry. Yunho leaned closer his ear to listen to whatever they were talking.
“Where are you? Do know how worried I was when you did not bother to call. I lied to Moonbin because I thought you’ll be home last night.” Changmin was mad. It was obvious and Jaejoong felt really guilty.
“I-I’m sorry Min it won’t happen again.”
“You know that Moonbin cannot sleep without you anymore. You spoiled him into it. We can’t hush him. Bummie tried but it’s not working. You better go home now or I’ll bring Moonbin to the Kim’s.” Changmin threatened. He was totally pissed because of Jaejoong’s irresponsibility.
“I will go back Min. Give me 30 minutes. I’m really sorry Min. Please don’t… don’t get mad at me anymore, okay? I love you Min and tell Bin that umma’s sorry. I love him.” Jaejoong felt how Yunho’s arm tightened its hold.
“Bin baby. Do you want to talk to your umma? He’s really worried that you won’t stop crying. I told you he’s fine.” The phone was instantly snatched away by Moonbin.
“Umma! Umma!” Moonbin sniffed as he tried to stop crying.
“Baby, Umma’s sorry. I’ll be home now. I’m sorry I did not call you. Umma feels really guilty. Please forgive me.”
“I thought something bad happened to umma and I’m scared that you will leave me. Binnie will stop crying now. Binnie loves umma so much.” Moonbin sniffed and stifled his sobs.
“I’ll make it up to you baby. Give me 30 minutes and I’ll stay with you until you get tired of umma.”
“Binnie will never ever get tired of my beautiful umma. Binnie will see you later umma. I love you.”
“I love you too baby. I’m sorry.”
Changmin shared a conversation with Jaejoong for a few more time before he hang up. Jaejoong breathed a sigh and let Yunho engulfed him in a hug. He felt his lover caressing his hair as the man placed kisses on his shoulders.
“I’ll drive you home Jae. It’s my fault in the first place…” Yunho said while lifting Jaejoong’s chin up so that they were facing each other.
“Thank you Yun.”
“Sshhh… I’ll talk to Moonbin for you. Okay? Come on, let’s take a bath.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“So you’re telling me that you and Yunho are getting married?” Changmin eyed Jaejoong up and down with his arms crossed and his foot tapping the floor impatiently.
“Well… I-I’m not really sure. W-we haven’t talk about the full details Min… and I don’t actually answer directly when he asked me to.” Jaejoong responded nervously. He was watching Yunho play with his son. His little boy got too excited once he saw his Yun ahjussi that he clung unto the man and won’t let Yunho go.
“Don’t get me wrong Jae. I’m happy for you, I really am but you have to be sure because I don’t want you to get hurt again.” Changmin reached his hand towards Jaejoong where the latter took a hold of it and placed it on the cheek. The gesture wasn’t any near to intimacy and Kibum don’t mind it at all.
“Are you okay with them?” Yunho asked as he turned his head away from the scene to avoid getting jealous.
“Yes. They are really great friends so I don’t mind at all and Mr. Jung, you don’t have to get jealous of Changmin. They are only best friends.” Kibum whispered at Yunho.
“I know but I can’t help it. I already lost Jaejoong once and I don’t want to lose him again.”
“Jaejoong hyung loves you so much.”
Yunho smiled when Kibum left Moonbin and him alone. He saw Jaejoong walked towards them. The smaller man sat beside him and he noticed that Jaejoong flinched once he was seated. His lover was obviously in pain but in order not to arouse suspicion, Jaejoong has to hide it. His lover has to avoid limping his way away from Changmin’s comfort.
“Does it still hurt?” Yunho asked after he leaned closer to the man.
“Not that much. I already called my office that I won’t be around today so I’ll be with my baby the whole day.” Jaejoong was blushing mad as he answered Yunho's question.
“I would love to stay with you two but I cannot skip work.” Yunho paused as he thought of an idea.
“Oh, do you want to visit my working place?” Yunho asked with those hopeful eyes and Jaejoong couldn’t say no.
“I’ll ask Min first, Yun. He’s still upset at me.”
“Hmmm Bin, do you want to visit ahjussi’s workplace?” Yunho asked the child he grew fond off.
“YEAH! Binnie wants to see all those toys ahjussi told me.” Moonbin yelled excitedly. Just thinking of those toys made him forget about the incident just that morning and Changmin was more than glad to let Jaejoong bring Moonbin so the mother and son could make up.
“Yay! I love you Uncle Minnie. Don’t be upset anymore, okay? Umma loves Binnie and Umma loves you too.” Moonbin said cutely.
“I know that little hero. Pack your things and be a good boy, okay?” The child nodded and kissed Changmin’s cheek before running upstairs which gave Moonbin a lot of scolding from Jaejoong, Changmin, Kibum and Yunho once he came back.
“Sorry…” Moonbin scratched his head and gave each adult a hug.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They were greeted by a lot of hotel employees the moment they arrived at the hotel where Yunho’s office was situated. Yunho chose the place to avoid hassle and since it was the closest at the main Jung Group of Companies’ building. Yuna’s husband was also working for the Jung’s but Yuna did not want a wealthy yet disastrous living so they decided to stay in a low profile unlike Yunho who agreed to every terms of their father.
“Umma…” Moonbin tugged on Jaejoong’s shirt when they stopped in front of the elevator. Jaejoong took a look at his son and saw that the kid was getting uncomfortable due to the stares they were receiving.
“Let umma carry you.” Jaejoong lifted Moonbin off the ground while Yunho reached for Moonbin’s bag and carried it instead.
“Thank you.” Jaejoong told Yunho.
“Good morning Mr. Jung.” The middle-aged secretary greeted.
“Senior Jung is waiting for you inside.” The woman opened the door to Yunho’s office.
“Appa. What brought you here so early in the morning?” Yunho asked as he put the bag on the couch. Jaejoong also stepped inside. He was nervous yet happy to see Yunho’s father again.
“Jaejoong.” The old Jung called. His arms were outstretched, waiting for Jaejoong to give him a hug like always.
Jaejoong stood for a moment before a smile was shown on his face. He walked towards the old Jung and gave the man a hug with Moonbin still in his arms.
“Is this your son?” Jaejoong nodded. Yunho’s father ruffled Moonbin’s hair and received a muffled chuckle from the child. Old Jung smiled and took the boy in his arm.
“Hello to you little boy. What’s your name?”
“I’m Moonbin, sir but you can call me Binnie.” Moonbin said as a blush crept from his face. Despite being energetic and lovable, Moonbin was still known for being a shy boy when meeting new people.
“You’re the famous Moonbin, I see. I’ve heard a lot about you from Yunho.” Old Jung lowered Moonbin off the ground and ushered him towards the place where Yunho’s toy collections were.
“Well, let the child stay there.” Yunho’s father said.
The three adults talked but Old Jung never brought the issue about Moonbin’s father. He was warned by Yunho though he already knew what happened. Old Jung still can’t believe that Yunho was not Moonbin’s father. The child was clearly a carbon copy of his son when Yunho was still young. Old Jung left already an hour ago but the smile from the couple’s face was still there. Yunho’s father gave them his blessing and even told them that he’ll handle every expense for their wedding.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Will you marry me Jae?” Yunho suddenly asked. His arms were circled upon his lover’s small waist as he breathed the scent of vanilla from Jaejoong’s neck.
Jaejoong couldn’t turn to face Yunho but he knew how the man looked at that moment. Jaejoong smiled and held Yunho’s hand with his.
“Yes Yun.” He sighed heavily. Yunho removed his arms and turned Jaejoong so that they were facing each other.
“I know it’s not romantic and it’s really sudden but I really want you to know that no matter what, you are still the person I want to spend my life with. I can’t imagine my life without you Jae. I’ll always stay in love with you.” With Yunho’s hands cupping Jaejoong’s, he raised those delicate hands and placed a kiss on each of it.
“I don’t need anything Yun. Only you and Moonbin. I’m really blessed to have you because you accepted me as I am despite how I was dirtied five years ago and you never said anything that’ll hurt me. When I lied and left you, it was me that you still love. Even if I no longer deserve you, you still make me feel that I’m the only one for you.” Jaejoong leaned closer to Yunho and brought his head over Yunho’s chest.
“I love you Jae.”
“I love you too Yun.”
The two leaned closer to each other but before they was able to share a kiss, Moonbin came running to them and even get in between the two.
“What’s wrong Bin?” Jaejoong asked as he kneeled in front of his son.
“Can umma play with Binnie?” the child asked using those puppy eyes.
“Of course… let’s not bother Yun ahjussi, alright? Come on.” Jaejoong held his son’s hand with his and let Moonbin pull him towards the room.
When the duo was gone, Yunho sat on his chair. He thought of Jaejoong and Moonbin. His thoughts were interrupted by his secretary who has what looks like an invitation card on her hand. It was an invitation for the upcoming party of the Jung Group of Companies. It will be held next month and he knew who to bring there as his date.
“Jae…” He walked inside the room and saw the two playing with one of his train collection. The site was cute and he thought of not disturbing them but Yunho was too excited and just interrupted the two.
“What is it Yun?” Jaejoong stood from the ground and straighten his shirt.
“Here.” Yunho handed him the invitation and waited for Jaejoong to finish reading the card.
“I would like you and Bin to come please Jae. I will formally introduce you there, only if you want me to.”
“Well… hmm…” Yunho saw how nervous Jaejoong has been so he tried his best to talk to the man.
“Just attend Jae as my date… and Bin too. There would be other kids there.”
Jaejoong did not want to disappoint Yunho so he agreed and was instantly brought to another hug. Yunho had twirled Jaejoong and Moonbin clapped while watching them.
Yunho was happy and Jaejoong too but no one was expecting what the event will cause them. May Yunho be strong enough and stay beside Jaejoong. May the past give them strength not doubt because Jaejoong will need a lot of assurance once his nightmare meets him again.
Chapter 10
Tenth Page
Yunho was waiting patiently for Jaejoong to arrive. He had invited his lover for the Jung’s annual celebration just a month ago and they never did talk about it anymore despite seeing each other every day. He did not remind Jaejoong about it but he was sure that the smaller man remembers the invitation.
Although Jaejoong was clearly not into attending this kind of event, Yunho was still happy because Jaejoong agreed. He knew the reason why Jaejoong felt uncomfortable so he will make sure not to leave Jaejoong unattended.
The event hall has one place for children to play and the other side was for the business men and women of the industry to mingle and socialize. It was almost time to start the party. The guests were already crowding the place.
Yunho was having a short conversation from time to time to some people but if you knew him to well, you will be able to notice that he was so distracted that night. Why? Because the two persons he considered the most special to him were still nowhere to be found.
‘I wonder if he will really go.’ He thought. He kept stealing glances from his watch and impatiently taps his foot on the tiled floor.
He almost got to the point of getting upset until finally, he was able to see Jaejoong and Moonbin stepped inside the hall, hand in hand. Jaejoong was wearing a nice elegant suit while Moonbin was wearing the latest and most expensive collection from Hero’s, Jaejoong’s clothing line for children. Of course, as they walked inside, almost the entire attention of the crowd was on them not only because they were new faces but also because of how gorgeous they look and how their tandem shined.
“Mr. Jung you’re guests are here…” his right hand whispered making him smile from ear to ear.
Once Jaejoong and Moonbin were near enough, the young boy ran towards Yunho with arms open wide as if asking for a nice catch and a tight hug.
“Yun ahjussi…” Moonbin squealed in delight.
Yunho then carried the child in his arms and twirled the little boy around.
“How’s my little cute boy?” asked Yunho making Moonbin pout.
“Binnie’s handsome not cute ahjussi.” the child defended with his arms crossed and his head swayed away from Yunho. Yunho was trying to peak but the child was moving his head away from Yunho's teasing eyes.
“Bin, say hello to your Uncle Yun… nicely.” Jaejoong scolded in a whisper.
“Hello Yun ahjussi. Binnie did not miss you.” Moonbin then stuck his tongue out and wriggle his way out of the man’s arms.
“But ahjussi missed you.” Yunho said as he leveled his eyes with the child thus having him almost sit on the floor. Yunho then put his hand on the child’s waist and playfully tickled him.
“Stop it ahjussi… alright alright Binnie missed you so much.” The kid giggled and kissed Yunho’s cheek before running off to the play area that was set up for them.
“Sorry about that Yunho.” Jaejoong apologized but only received a smile from the other man.
“It’s alright Jae. Come on, Binnie will be safe there. Let me introduce you to some people.”
As Yunho led the way towards some businessmen, he noticed something different from the younger man beside him. Yunho can feel how Jaejoong was getting stiff and nervous when people asked for a handshake or talk to him the least.
Yunho made sure that Jaejoong won’t be more than a feet away from him.
“Jae, are you okay?” whispered Yunho while still maintaining the smile on his face.
“Ye-yeah…” Jaejoong mumbled but the man was obviously far from being fine. He noticed how Jae flinched whenever he was being touched. He saw how those smile still managed to fool people showing he was okay when he wasn’t.
‘I’ll definitely kill that bastard.’ Yunho thought as he kept Jaejoong even closer by his side.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was in the middle of the party when Jaejoong excused himself to check on his son. The little boy was playing with a young boy around his age. When Moonbin saw him, the kid excused himself to be with his mother but then Yunho came telling him that there was another person he wanted him to meet.
Jaejoong was still facing Moonbin at that time so he did not have any idea who the person was but Yunho seemed eager so he let his child go back to his playmate and have Yunho attended.
“Jae, this is Mr. Francez. He’s a close friend of the Jung. He’s handling one of our hotels in Europe.” informed Yunho.
“Good Evening Mr. Francez. I’m Kim Jaejoong.” Jaejoong greeted.
“I heard that you play the piano well. I came with a friend here that is a famous pianist.” Hearing the word piano, Jaejoong once more became nervous and add to that the sweat that was slowly forming on his forehead.
“Ah… yes but I stopped way back.” He answered almost incoherently.
“Well that’s a waste. Wait, I’ll call my friend.” Once the man spotted his friend, he called for him and has him face to face with Jaejoong.
Jaejoong stole a glance at his son and failed to see who was the friend the man was talking about.
It was a definite shocked for him when he finally saw who it was.
“Mr. Jung, Mr. Kim. This is Carl Laurent.”
“Jaejoong… my beautiful pianist” the new comer called. There was this smirk on his face that did not left unnoticed by Yunho.
“What?” Yunho grumbled while taking note of Jaejoong's widened eyes.
“How are you Jaejoong?” Laurent asked.
“No…” Jaejoong backed away slowly. His eyes can only see the man who ruined his life. It was as if Yunho had left him all alone for the man to ravish him once again.
Yunho was calling for his name but Jaejoong was not minding him. It was as if he has gone deaf. The look of horror on Jaejoong made Yunho alarmed having him to call Jaejoong in a louder voice that got the attention of some people including Changmin and Moonbin.
“Jae.” called Yunho.
“What’s wrong?”
But Jaejoong stepped a foot away once again. Soon, his eyes were shedding tears of evident fright. The event five years ago slowly played in his mind like a movie being shown on a big screen.
There was the big room with no people, the piano, the beautiful melody and the man who became the monster of every dream he had starting from that horrendous day.
~~~~~~~~~~
“Ah Jae, my dear. Mr. Laurent wanted you to play the piano for him later but I won’t be there since I have to meet Mr. Martinez. There’s something he would like to discuss. Will you be alright by yourself? Don’t worry, Mr. Laurent speaks English and I know you do too.”
“Oh. Okay Mrs. Han. I will do my best then.”
~~~~~~~~~~
“Sir, please. I want to go back to the hotel.” He said only to get a hush from the other man.
“Sshh… my lovely pianist. We should have fun tonight for the success of your performance, right?” The man then pulled Jaejoong closer to him.
“Please… please don’t do this.” He begged but the older man did not seem to hear him.
“Your lover wouldn’t like you anymore after this. You whore!”
~~~~~~~~~~
A loud crash from the broken wine glasses woke Jaejoong from his stupor. His tears were uncontrolled. He covered his face with his hands.
"NO!"
Jaejoong screamed and ran as fast as he can to get away from the suffocating nightmare that once again taunting him. Nobody managed to stop Moonbin from following Jaejoong. He kept on calling his mother but the man was not stopping. Changmin followed soon after.
Yunho trailed next but not before asking the guards not to let Laurent leave the place without his permission.
Jaejoong rushed down the stairs and out on the city street. A car honked to warn him but he did not even mind it.
Moonbin who was really worried stalked Jaejoong even on the streets but a car that came from the corner did not see the child running.
BEEP.
BEEP.
The driver managed to honk and swerve his car a little to the side but did not cope with the sudden tilt causing the side of his car to hit Moonbin and throw the child off the ground.
Jaejoong was safely on the sideline. He turned his body abruptly when he heard a crash behind him. To his horror, it was Moonbin who was lying on the ground.
“MOONBIN!”
Soon not only Jaejoong was beside the child but also Yunho and Changmin.
“We can’t touch him Jae. Let’s wait for the ambulance.” Changmin took hold of Jaejoong to stop the man from touching the unconscious child.
An ambulance came and after a moment or so, they were finally at the hospital.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jaejoong was fidgeting his fingers as he paced on the pathway back and forth. No one can calm him down. Yunho can’t come nor touch Jaejoong. Changmin did not want to be near the said man. As much as Laurent wanted to touch even a small part of the man, he knew he can’t or else he’ll die that very moment.
Jaejoong can feel himself getting dizzy but he fought for consciousness. He can’t relax when the man who gave him all those nightmares was just near him and Moonbin, his baby was 50:50. He only stopped when a doctor came out from the closed door.
“How is he?” Jaejoong rushed to where the doctor was.
“The child is losing so much blood and we need a donor.”
“I’ll donate Doctor. I’m his mother.” The doctor seemed to be confused but he remembered that Dr. Kim has one case of male pregnancy.
“The child’s blood type is B Mrs. Kim.” The doctor informed him.
“I’m type O.” Jaejoong mumbled. He looked almost immediately when Yunho talked.
“I’m type B.”
But his heart almost stopped when Laurent said the same thing.
“I’m also type B.”
Jaejoong’s world crumbled from what Laurent said. He looked at the man with his eyes widened and his form shaking.
“I’m the child’s father.” Laurent added much to Jaejoong’s fright. He felt Yunho’s hand pulling him away from the man.
“You’re not Moonbin’s father.” Changmin gritted his teeth. Kibum tried his best to keep Changmin calm but his boyfriend was outraged with the man’s guts.
“I am Moonbin’s father.” He said with a smirk.
“You can ask Jaejoong if you want to. He’s been great. He even begged.”
“Damn you bastard!” Yunho launched but was stopped.
“That’s not true. That’s not true! Stop… pls. Stop this!” That moment, Jaejoong felt that his surrounding was moving and it made him dizzy to the point that he almost fell if not for Yunho’s stable support.
“Jaejoong are you alright?” Yunho asked in worry.
The doctor cleared his throat.
“I’ll have you two tested. Please follow the nurse.” The doctor interrupted.
When both Yunho and Laurent were gone, Jaejoong immediately fell out of consciousness making Changmin and Kibum panicked more.
“I’ll call for another nurse. He must have been fatigued.” Junsu, Jaejoong’s Ob-gyne saw Jaejoong and he helped the couple assist in moving the man. He asked Changmin if it was okay to have Jaejoong checked thoroughly and the tall man agreed.
Despite being a doctor, Junsu believed on his guts so no matter what, he has to at least have his first and only male patient for a few tests.
Changmin left Jaejoong with Kibum to check for Moonbin. Jaejoong’s parents were already waiting anxiously for the next appearance of the doctor.
“Where’s Jaejoong?” Mr. Kim asked when they arrived and no one was around.
“Jaejoong fainted, Uncle. He was brought to one of the hospitals room. I left him with Kibum.”
“Is he alright?” This time, Mrs. Kim asked as he stood straight and let her husband held her.
“Doctor Kim asked if he can do some test to Jaejoong. I agreed Auntie since he is Jaejoong’s OB.”
“Tell me what room and I’ll check on him. Hon, stay here with Changmin and wait for the doctor’s news, okay?” Mrs. Kim left the two and searched for Doctor Kim’s office.
When the door was opened, Mrs. Kim found her son already awake and tears were running from his pale son's eyes. Her worries doubled as she ran beside the man. Kibum was trying to sooth Jaejoong by drawing circles on the latter’s back. Even Junsu was trying to calm Jaejoong.
“What’s wrong?” She asked no one in particular.
“I-I’m pregnant umma… I’m pregnant.” Jaejoong cried even more when his umma enveloped him in a hug.
“Son, don’t stress yourself. It is bad for the baby, okay?” She wiped her son’s tears and kissed the man’s forehead.
“I don’t know what will become of me. Yunho’s upset and I don’t think that the news about my pregnancy will do any good.” He told his mom insecurely. Jaejoong was avoiding eye contact as he felt his confidence slowly leaving him.
"Don't say that Jae." Kibum spoke but Jaejoong only shook his head..
“How long is he, doctor?” Mrs. Kim asked.
“Four weeks madam and I advise that Jaejoong watch out for anything that’ll stress him. I prescribed vitamins for him already and a few things to be reminded off. I hope you’ll take care of him.”
“We will Doctor Kim.”
“and Jaejoong, don’t worry about Moonbin too much. Your son is a strong child. Remember that you have another life inside your womb. You don’t want to get them hurt, right?”
“I-I will try Junsu. Thank you… I will go back and check for my baby.”
“Okay. Remember to calm down Jaejoong.”
Yunho, Laurent and a few body guards were already waiting when Jaejoong, Kibum and Mrs. Kim came back. Jaejoong’s mother has her arms on her son to keep Jaejoong away from the man who brought her son tears and pain from the past five years.
She was glaring hard at Laurent who seemed not to be affected at all despite being in between the Kim’s body guards.
Yunho was not moving from his spot and it saddened Jaejoong that maybe Yunho was disgusted at him. Mrs. Kim made an eye contact with Yunho as if telling him that it was now okay for him to touch and held her son. Yunho got the message and was now moving towards Jaejoong.
Jaejoong almost cried when he felt Yunho’s warmth engulfing him. He was debating with himself whether or not he would tell Yunho about his pregnancy. In the end, he decided to inform Yunho about it when Moonbin’s already safe.
Another hour has passed. The light from the room was now off and the doctor came out with great news. Moonbin was now stable and away from danger. Jaejoong broke down and Laurent attempted to touch him but was blocked by the guards and the Kim couple as well as Changmin and Kibum. It was only Yunho who was able to hold the angel safe within his hold.
“Boo… let’s wait for Bin in his room, okay? You go with Changmin and Kibum. I’ll have to talk with Uncle.” Jaejoong was not letting go. He was scared that Yunho will left him permanently so it took the taller man a lot of time in assuring Jaejoong that he’ll be back with the smaller man’s parents.
“Promise?” Jaejoong whispered. Yunho nodded and peck Jaejoong’s lips much to Laurent’s annoyance.
“Let’s not talk here.” Mr. Kim spoke and all of them followed the old man to a vacant room he asked from one of the nurses.
Once they were settled, Mrs. Kim almost hit Laurent but was prevented by her husband.
“I will make sure that you’ll rot in jail this time! We did not file any charges before because Jaejoong was still under your spiteful nightmare. Do you know how much misfortune you brought to my son?”
“Don’t get me wrong madam. I really do like your son. Besides I’m only older by ten years.” He said without even bothering to stop and look at the person he was talking to.
In a blink of an eye, Laurent was on the floor, clutching his jaw that must have been broken due to Yunho’s strong punch. This time, Mrs. Kim was holding Yunho to stop the man from giving another blow.
“Stop this. I already ordered them to have a DNA test. In five days the result will be out and if ever Laurent is Moonbin’s father, we cannot do anything but let Jaejoong decide.”
There was a smirk forming on Laurent’s mouth but soon stopped because of the old Kim’s next words.
“But if not, I will make sure that you’ll be in jail for hurting my only son. Jaejoong’s afraid of the scandals but forgive me God. I will use every means to have you in prison forever.”
“You cannot put me in jail old man. You don’t know me.” Laurent said proudly.
“Well, you don’t know us.” Yunho answered for Jaejoong’s father.
“Yunho please stay with our son, okay? Don’t let him do stupid things.” Mrs. Kim reached her hand and touched Yunho’s cheeks.
“I will auntie. I will never leave him.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jaejoong came rushing and brought Yunho in a tight hug when the man came back with his parents. Laurent was under the custody of the police and away from the press.
Jaejoong was crying because he thought that Yunho won’t be back at all. It took them an hour to finish whatever it was they were talking about and it took Yunho a lot of time before Jaejoong's cries subside.
“I’m sorry boo. I’ll file a leave at work and stay here with you. I heard that Bin will be taken here in about ten minutes so let’s prepare, okay?” Jaejoong only nodded but was not letting go of Yunho.
“This room is big and there’s another connected room so we can stay there while Jaejoong attends to Moonbin. We cannot crowd the place although this is huge since Moonbin might get worse of we do.” Mrs. Kim said. The others agreed with the arrangement.
Doctor Junsu also came with Doctor Yoochun. They stayed for a while and left after they had checked on both Moonbin and Jaejoong. Junsu gave Jaejoong a bottle of pills. Yunho saw it and it got him curious so he asked the man.
“Are you sick boo?” Yunho asked Jaejoong as Jae let him sit beside the bed.
“No Yun. It’s just vitamins. Junsu is quite worried about my health.”
“But Doctor Kim is an OB-gyne, isn’t he? Is there anything you wanted to tell me?” He asked with an eyebrow raised.
“I-I… well, Yun… let’s not talk about this yet, okay?” Jaejoong mumbled but he knew that Yunho wouldn’t give into his pleas.
“Let’s talk Jae. There’s something wrong that I should know.”
“Please Yun not now.” Jaejoong begged.
“Jae we have to talk.” Yunho said sternly.
“Please!” Jaejoong raised his voice. “Please not now.”
Jaejoong eyes widened then he covered his mouth in shock. He reached unto Yunho and let his head rest on his lover’s chest.
“I’m sorry.” Jaejoong muttered.
Yunho did not utter any word. He only drew circles on the man’s back and let the man sit. He knew it was his fault. He should not have forced the man but he was too stubborn. Jae needed him to understand and that was what he has to do. He should wait when Jaejoong’s ready. He should wait until Moonbin has wakened up.
"It's alright Jae. I know you're tired... Take a rest too, okay?"
After Jaejoong fell asleep, he too decided to close his eyes and let the sleepiness took him off to the dreamland.
Chapter 11
Eleventh Page
Moonbin woke up two days after the surgery. He was scared at first because the room was so bright that it strained his poor eyes. He began crying in relief when he felt his mother’s hand holding tightly unto his small ones . His soft cries awakened Jaejoong who immediately sat up straight from the chair and calmed him down. Yunho came at the right time and helped Jaejoong in hushing Moonbin. Eventually, the doctor appeared and checked for Moonbin’s health.
“Are you in pain Bin?” Yunho asked then placed a peck on the child’s forehead.
“No Yun ahjussi but this part is itchy.” He pointed the stitches on his head and attempted to touch it but was prevented by Jaejoong.
“No baby. You can’t touch it, okay?” Jaejoong said. Moonbin pouted and his face scrunched up. Jaejoong noticed how uncomfortable his son was so he blew air to the part that his son pointed a few seconds ago.
“Better?” Yunho asked while he was watching Jaejoong.
“Neh Yun ahjussi. Thank you umma.” The child said with a pout still on his lips which made the two adults smile.
“Tell me where its itchy baby so I can help you relieved it, okay?”
“Neh umma.” Moonbin wanted to sit so Yunho raised the bed slowly, afraid that the child would cry in pain if the inclined bed was too high.
It was good news that Moonbin did not suffer major injuries from the accident, only a few cuts and a dislocated elbow joint. Moonbin’s arm was placed in a cast to immobilize and so that the child won’t move the part too much. Jaejoong, although he was trying to avoid, couldn’t stop thinking of the worst scenario that might happen to his poor baby. Even Yunho, who was getting nervous as the day past was totally relieved that his son was getting better.
‘My son…’ Yunho thought happily. If only God will only hear his prayers. He wanted to be Moonbin’s father. He can feel it whenever he was holding the child or even when he was only near Moonbin.
“Don’t move too much baby… if you need anything just tell it to umma.”
“Umma. I want popo.” Moonbin puckered his lips and wait for his umma’s kiss.
“Then I’ll give you many popos.” The kid giggled but restrained himself from moving. His limbs still hurts but not that much.
“When you’re already well, I’ll bring you wherever you want to go. We’ll go to the amusement park and we’ll go camping.” Brushing aside Moonbin’s bangs, Jaejoong pecked his son’s forehead. His baby has been through a lot due to his negligence and Jaejoong has been reflecting for everything.
Jaejoong played with his son’s hair as he watched Moonbin stared at the cast on his left arm. The child was poking the hard material and was getting irritated of not being able to move it.
“I’m sorry baby.” Jaejoong lowered his head and began crying. He stopped playing with his son's hair and only took interest at the hospital floor.
Moonbin stopped from poking his cast and turned his full attention to his mother.
“It’s my entire fault. I’m sorry Bin. Umma won’t be stupid anymore. Will you forgive your umma?” He glanced at his Yun ahjussi and saw that the taller man was looking at his mother worriedly. He knew that his Yun ahjussi loves his umma and he was happy that his umma loves his Yun ahjussi too. Whenever they go to places, Binnie will sometimes caught his umma and ahjussi hugging each other or at times his Yun ahjussi will kiss his umma on his cheek.
“Don’t cry umma. Binnie loves you so much. It’s not umma’s fault."
When Jaejoong did not show any kind of response. Moonbin decided to use his last choice and that was to question Jaejoong's love for him.
"Do you really love Binnie, umma?” Jaejoong looked up and fixed his eyes with his son’s.
“I love my baby so much. “ Jaejoong replied almost immediately. His eyes were widened at the thought that his son might not believing that he truly loves him.
Moonbin smiled at his mother and let the man kissed him on his cheeks. “If umma loves Binnie then umma should stop crying because Binnie feels sad seeing umma cry.”
Moonbin frowned when his umma’s cry did not seem to subside, instead it worsen.
“Jae you don’t want Bin to be sad, right?” Yunho asked. Jaejoong nodded and wiped the tears that were still falling from his already puffed eyes.
Finally, Jaejoong stopped crying and a beautiful smile crept up on his umma’s face.
“There umma is more beautiful when he’s not crying, right ahjussi?”
“Of course…” Yunho mumbled as he secretly reached for Jaejoong’s hand that was hidden by the bed.
Yunho felt Jaejoong tightened its hold. With his thumb, he caressed the cold hand and made it warm after a few moments. Moonbin fell asleep after an hour and Jaejoong took this time to freshen himself up. Yunho did the same and they ate while waiting for Jaejoong’s parents to arrive.
The old couple was relieved after hearing about their grandson’s condition. Mrs. Kim also excused Jaejoong and brought him to Doctor Junsu because he was feeling a little off that afternoon. They were only able to breathe normally when Junsu told them that Jaejoong’s fine and there was nothing to worry about.
“I hope that my baby will grow healthy just like my energetic Binnie.” Jaejoong murmured as they walk towards Moonbin’s room.
Jaejoong was drawing circles on his tummy while his mother led the way with her arms draped safely around him. He wasn’t paying attention at all to his surrounding and it made his mother really worried.
“Son. I know you’re amazed but could you stop doing that? What if you trip and fall?”
“I’m sorry umma…” Jaejoong pouted but unconsciously ended up doing the same thing. Mrs. Kim just let Jaejoong continue what he was doing because the gesture seemed to help his son relax. She only hoped that her prayers would be answer and that her son would finally be able to smile after all that he has been through.
~~~~~~~~~~~
“This is not true. This is no true! Appa, please tell me this is fake. Please appa… Laurent is not Moonbin’s father. HE IS NOT MY SON’S FATHER!” Jaejoong yelled as he broke down in tears. Yunho was standing on the far corner of the room, just watching Jaejoong kneeled on front of his father. He promised to be always by the man’s side but the news had hurt him so much. It hurts more compared to how Jaejoong left him five years ago.
“Yunho please help Jaejoong.” Mrs. Kim asked as he pulled Yunho but the taller man wouldn’t budge.
“I-I’m sorry auntie but… but I can’t. I…” Yunho struggled with his words. Soon, he left without sparing Jaejoong even a glance.
Yunho felt bad but his mind was in a total mess. He was so disoriented that he forgot everything about Jaejoong.
Jaejoong could only look at him sadly as he clutched the result of the DNA test in his hands. He was still crying while he let everything sink into him.
Laurent was Moonbin’s father and Yunho had left him. His lover just broke his promise and will never come back again. His second baby will grow up without a father just like Moonbin. He felt his heart broke into millions of pieces and this time, he felt like giving up.
“Why? Why appa?” Jaejoong let himself be engulfed within his father’s securing arms. Changmin was still there but his best friend cannot be with him forever. If only Changmin can stay and take care of him then maybe he will feel a lot better.
“I’m sorry son… I’m sorry.” His father murmured.
Jaejoong felt pain on his lower abdomen and the shocked almost blew him apart when he saw blood pooling on the place he was standing. His body trembled as he clutched unto his stomach in an act of saving his poor unborn child.
“Jae.”
“Jae.”
“Jae.”
“YUNHO!” Jaejoong’s voice startled everyone in the room especially Yunho who was waking him up from an obvious nightmare.
“Yun… Yun…” Jaejoong began sobbing while he gripped Yunho’s shirt really tight. Yunho, on the other hand was trying to calm the man. Mrs. Kim handed him a glass of water and Yunho brought the glass on Jaejoong’s mouth but he refuses to drink.
“Please boo drink this.” Yunho told him softly.
Jaejoong checked if it was still his Yunho, when he was sure enough, he let the man help him drink the water. He saw Changmin looking at him worriedly as well as his father.
Jaejoong looked beside him and saw his son still sleeping. He was feeling dizzy and nauseous that moment but he disregarded everything even the sudden pain on his stomach.
‘It was just a dream… a really bad dream.’ He thought.
“Oh my God Jae… you’re bleeding!” Mrs. Kim rushed beside his son while Kibum called for a nurse and for Doctor Kim.
Jaejoong let his hand wander to his behind and surely, when he checked his hand there was blood on it.
“Umma… umma…” Jaejoong cried in panicked. He looked terribly at Yunho and let himself be carried.
“What’s happening?” Yunho asked as he lifted Jaejoong in his arms and brought the shocked man outside where they met the nurse who led them to the emergency room.
“Yun… Yun…” Jaejoong clutched unto Yunho’s shirt, afraid to let the man go.
Doctor Junsu was already inside preparing whatever medical tools it was, Yunho did not care. His mind was focused to Jaejoong who was sobbing within his hold.
“Put him here and please just wait outside.” Doctor Junsu closed the curtains and checked on Jaejoong.
Outside, Mrs. Kim was fidgeting on her seat as she waited for Junsu to finish his observation. It was good that Yunho wasn’t asking anything but she knew that soon, the man will question them. It was in no time that Mr. Kim also arrived. The result of the DNA was already out but Mr. Kim chose not to disturbed Yunho and his wife.
“What happened honey?” Mr. Kim asked his wife gently. Seeing that scared look on his wife's face made him scared too.
“Jae… he bled… the baby. Oh God what will we do?” Mrs. Kim let herself be comforted by his husband’s arms.
“What baby auntie? Please… please answer me.” Yunho fell upon his knees as he waited for Jaejoong’s mother to speak.
“Jaejoong’s four weeks pregnant Yunho. He did not want to tell you yet because he’s scared. As a man, it was hard for him to conceive. It is always risky for him that was what Junsu warned us. We told Jae to stop worrying… maybe it’s because of whatever he dreamt a while ago. My poor son...”
“Baby…?” Yunho muttered over and over again.
The light was switched off and Junsu emerged from the room. He sighed deeply and stared at his friend’s family. It was good that they had brought Jaejoong immediately or else the two will be in great danger.
“Both Jaejoong and the baby are alright Mrs. Kim. For now, let him rest. Can I know what happened?”
“Jaejoong woke up from a nightmare.” Yunho said.
“Maybe it’s really bad… he was crying when he woke up. Are you sure they’re fine now?” Mrs. Kim asked.
“I see… well Yes Mrs. Kim. He’s sleeping. I’ll have him wheeled to his son’s room. You should just wait for him there.”
“Thank you… thank you.”
“I prescribed a few medicines for him. Please avoid stressing him. Don’t ask him too much and about the DNA test Mr. Kim. If the result isn’t gonna be good for Jaejoong then please wait until he gives birth. Everything that’ll cause him pain will definitely endanger them both.”
“We understand Doctor Kim and thank you. Thank you for always taking care of our son and please do say our thanks to Doctor Park. The two of you have been a great help even before.”
"It's our job Sir but as a friend of Jaejoong and your family, I can say that we are the ones that should be thankful." Junsu smiled at the old couple and gave them the papers about Jaejoong.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yunho stayed beside Jaejoong all the time. He drew circles over Jaejoong’s tummy and talked to their baby as if the baby could hear him. He cried for a moment but stopped when he felt how Jaejoong stirred. Yunho put a pillow behind the smaller man and pecked those lips he missed so much. He also kissed the man's stomach and petted it a few more times.
Yunho felt the stress creeping into his system but he hasn’t said a word at all. Jaejoong was four weeks pregnant according to his mother and Yunho was upset that his lover hid the good news to him. Sometimes he can no longer understood Jaejoong’s decision. What if it was too late and their baby died? How will he be able to forgive himself? But Jaejoong has his reason and that was what stopping Yunho from showing how disappointed he was.
“Yunho dear, you should take a rest.” Mrs. Kim said, concernedly.
“I’m alright auntie… I’m okay.” Yunho stubbornly answered.
“No. Another person getting sick will no longer be acceptable. At least have an hour of sleep before we go to the conference room for the test.” Mrs. Kim whispered the last word just to be cautious. She knew his son was sleeping but being careful was much better than Jaejoong accidentally hearing things.
“Can I sleep beside Jae, auntie?” He asked, hopeful. Jaejoong’s mother shook her head but nonetheless, still agreed. She smiled when Yunho grinned as he climbed and rest beside his wife. The bed was big enough to fit them both and for Yunho not to sandwiched Jaejoong. He securely put his arms over the man and felt Jaejoong held unto his hands. The smaller man was still sleeping and he had done it out of reflex.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Two hours later, Mrs. Kim woke Yunho because Mr. Kim was eager to know the result of the DNA testing. There were lawyers present and police officers inside the conference room of the hospital. Everyone was to sign a paper that says ‘If ever the information leaked, the person responsible will be put in jail for five years without bail.’
When everyone was done, they took their sit and Mr. Kim began opening the brown envelope.
Yunho was undeniably nervous while Laurent was relaxed. There was that annoying smirk on his face that made Yunho pissed but it was not of his concern anymore. He’ll make sure that Carl Laurent will rot in hell, away from Jaejoong and away from his babies.
“Good afternoon everyone. I’m Cho Kyuhyun. Without further ado, I would like everyone to know that base on the results, Mr. Carl Laurent…” without letting the doctor finished, Laurent stood proudly and smirked annoyingly at Yunho who was devastated hearing half of whatever the doctor was saying.
“Please let me finish…” everyone sat but Laurent was being a pest. He stayed standing and eyed Yunho as if he already won the case.
“There’s no need doctor. I’m the child’s father and we don't have to hear the rest.”
“As I said, please let me finish."
The doctor waited for Laurent to sit but the man was oblivious to it so he just continue.
"Mr. Carl Laurent does not match the child named Kim Moonbin at all. The result shows that Mr. Jung Yunho is 97. 86% matched with the said child’s DNA. This concludes that Mr. Jung Yunho is the father of the child and not Mr. Carl Laurent.”
After hearing the news, Yunho was enveloped in the arms of the crying Mrs. Kim while Mr. Kim was thanking the doctors. Yunho was stunned and he did not know what to do. He stared at the doctors who were smiling at him in return. Even the lawyers as well as the police officers were congratulating him.
“No! I am that kid’s father! How dare you manipulate the results?!” Laurent shouted while pointing his accusing finger towards Yunho.
“My son has a name. He is Moonbin. He is not just a kid. He is my son. He is a Jung.” Yunho spat angrily. His arm was shaking with his hand closed tightly. He calmed himself for Jaejoong but he got too tired controlling his temper.
Laurent tried to escape but was thrown off guard. Outside were a few more officers. Laurent slumped to the chair he was sitting awhile ago. He received a punch from Yunho that broke his nose and left him bleeding.
“That’s for Jaejoong and for all of your victims. You’ll rot in hell and I’ll make sure you’ll pay. With multiple cases of rape and child abuse, say goodbye to the fame you once have. You’ll be in jail for the rest of your life.” Yunho smirked and let his lawyer handle the man because he has no more business with Laurent. All he cared for now were Jaejoong and his children.
“My family…” Yunho whispered then made his way towards the exclusive room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When Yunho opened the door, he found Jaejoong and Moonbin eating small chunks of apple courtesy of Kibum. He did not notice that he was crying until Jaejoong asked him why.
“Yunnie, what’s wrong?” Jaejoong tried to lift himself off the bed but Yunho beat him into it. The man prevented him from moving by a tight yet gentle hug as Yunho shed tears of relief.
“Can I hug Moonbin, Jae?” He asked almost in a whisper.
“Of course Yunnie…” Jaejoong confusedly replied.
Yunho removed his arms from Jaejoong and turned his attention to his son.
Jaejoong watched as Yunho carefully put his arms around Moonbin as if the child would break any minute now if he hugged too tight.
‘My son.’ The thought conquered his mind. He smiled at Moonbin and the child smiled back at him.
“Son…” Yunho choked on his tears as he carefully held unto Moonbin. Jaejoong was confused yet he was crying. Moonbin was puzzled but he let himself be engulfed with the warmth that Yunho was emitting. Moonbin felt at ease whenever Yunho will take him within those long and strong arms.
“Appa? What’s going on?” Jaejoong asked once his father arrived with his mother and Doctor Junsu as well.
“Try to calm down Jaejoong and don’t get too emotional.” Junsu warned as he stand beside Jaejoong and checked for man’s blood pressure. Ever since, Junsu was hands on with the man’s health that even a simple matter like getting Jaejoong's blood pressure or injecting medicines into his system, it was him who will always attend.
“Is it alright to tell him?” Mr. Kim asked. The old man was unsure because of Jaejoong’s delicate pregnancy.
“Only if Jaejoong promise not to get so emotional.” Junsu smiled at his friend.
“I-I promise…” Jaejoong replied while watching Yunho caress his son’s hair.
“Jae, to wrap it all, Yunho is Moonbin’s father. The DNA test has proven it. From now on, you are to forget everything about the past, okay? Just be happy with your family… with Yunho, Moonbin and the baby in your womb.” His father sat on the chair in between the two beds. The old man sighed in relief because now, his son will be happy without the notions of the past. He knew that Yunho will take care of him and will never make him sad.
“Is this really true?” Jaejoong asked no one in particular as he fought with the tears that were threatening to fall from his eyes. He felt the same warmth when Yunho sat beside him and pulled him closer.
“Yes boo… I am definitely Moonbin’s father.” Yunho smiled. He kissed the top of Jaejoong’s head.
“Appa?” Moonbin called shyly. A blush crept on the child’s face as he kept fidgeting on his place.
“Yes my baby?” Yunho has a proud smile on his face. He was so happy. Definitely happy that finally their family was finally complete but still… Jaejoong should be a Jung and Moonbin too. They would have to talk about it when everyone was already out of the hospital.
“Appa.” The child also smiled as he turned to look at his mother. His lips quivered and in no time, Moonbin was also crying. Jaejoong tried but failed in preventing himself for tearing. The room was filled with cries, even Doctor Junsu was crying when Changmin entered the room he asked what’s wrong but no one answered him until Kibum told him the news.
Everyone laughed when Changmin also cried and let himself be comforted by Kibum’s arms.
“Uncle Minnie… now I have an Umma and an Appa. No one will dare to bully me or else they will be crushed by Yun appa.” Moonbin giggled at the thought while Jaejoong scolded him for it.
“Pft. Don’t mind your umma. Of course, I will crush everyone who dared to bully my son and Jae umma and of course your baby brother. We’ll hang them upside down, okay?”
“Yunnie… don’t teach our baby bad things…” Jaejoong whined.
“I’m teaching him how to defend himself not to bully others Jae.” Yunho defended.
“No. Yunnie you’re teaching Bin bad things.” Jaejoong pouted. Yunho sighed in defeat as he, too pouted.
But Moonbin was not listening to them at all. He has a confused face when he asked Yunho about his baby brother.
“Yes baby. Your umma is pregnant.”
“But where is baby brother?” He asked again with his head tilted to the side. The cast on his arm was long forgotten when he squealed happily and almost jump out of joy.
“Careful baby.” Jaejoong said.
“Baby brother is still here Bin.” Yunho touched Jaejoong’s stomach to show Moonbin where the baby was.
“But that’s too small. What if my brother couldn’t breathe?” Moonbin pouted.
“Don’t worry Bin. Umma’s tummy will grow bigger to fit your brother.” Yunho smiled.
“But Yunnie… we aren’t sure if the baby is a boy…” Jaejoong pouted too because he wanted to have a daughter so that he will see how Binnie will protect her when they were already grown up.
“Then we’ll make a sister for Binnie.” Jaejoong blushed at the thought and Yunho got scolded by Junsu for raising Jaejoong’s blood pressure. The old couple could only laugh at the cute family and Changmin hugged his best friend only to get a jealous stare from Yunho.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After Yunho put Moonbin to sleep, he climbed off to bed and lied down beside Jaejoong. The beauty was still awake and Junsu strictly told him not to let Jaejoong sleep late.
“Thank you Yunnie…” Jaejoong carefully shifted his weight and turned so he would be facing Yunho.
“Hmmm… there’s nothing to thank about baby.” Yunho said. He brushed to the side the hair that was covering Jaejoong’s face then kissed the smaller man’s forehead.
“There are many things that I should be thankful off because of you Yun… and I’m really sorry for hiding my pregnancy… again.” Yunho pulled Jaejoong close to him and ran his hand on the man’s back for comfort.
“You’re scared… that I could understand but please Jae… never hide anything from me from now on. I don’t want you to get hurt anymore. I love you so much baby and it hurts me seeing you lonely.”
“I promise Yun… I will tell you everything… I love you.”
“I love you too Jae.”
Mrs. Kim gently closed the door of the connected room. She was going to check if Jaejoong and Moonbin were asleep but she saw that Yunho and her son were talking so she just watched them from awhile and did not dare disturb them anymore. She smiled seeing the two happy and contented.
“How are they?” Mr. Kim asked.
“Happy.” was her simple reply.
“Good then. Let’s sleep?” Mrs. Kim nodded and climbed off the bed and let her husband kissed her before they gone off to sleep.
Outside, Yunho leaned closer towards Jaejoong and pecked those plump lips a few times before passionately kissing Jaejoong who responded after a few moment of getting stunned. The kiss grew into them that Jaejoong has to push Yunho so that he could catch his breath and take a rest.
Jaejoong could not be any happier. With Yunho and Moonbin plus the new addition to their family, he could not wish for anything more. A better future for them was all he could think off.
"I love you Yunho..." Jaejoong muttered for the last time before he finally dozed off to sleep.
Chapter 12
EPILOGUE
“Please do tell me Minnie that I’ve got my figure back.” Jaejoong pouted as he stared at himself from the mirror. He was checking every angle for how many times? Changmin had already lost count.
“Geez Jae. You’ve been asking me that for a while now and my answer will never change and yes. It’s as if you’ve never gave birth.” Changmin rolled his eyes at his best friend while helping the man wear off his shoes.
“It’s been only five months Min and I don’t think I’m still—”
“You’re sexy, okay?” Changmin shut him up.
“I don’t think I am.” Jaejoong pouted more. His eyes were almost teary. Luckily, Mrs. Kim came to the rescue and helped Changmin in assuring Jaejoong.
“For Pete’s sake Jae, you’re gorgeous and Yunho will never care if you’re sexy or not.”
“Minnie!” Kibum lightly hit Changmin to warn the man.
“Sorry…”
It might take them an hour if not for Moonbin. The child also came right after his grandmother. He sang Jaejoong a song to calm his mother down. The sweats forming on the beauty was making Changmin crazy.
Jaejoong has never been so insecure like this. If only Yunho waited for another month or so then Jaejoong would not be paranoid but who can blame the young tycoon? He has been Jaejoong-deprived for almost six years and the man was really eager to have Jaejoong and Moonbin’s surname change into Jung.
“Smile Jae. In 10 minutes you will be walking towards the altar with a proud man waiting for you. I guess I should also leave now. I’m the best man by the way so if you’ll excuse me my dear Jaejoong. Bummie will take care of you.” With a final hug, Changmin left Jaejoong with Kibum and Mrs. Kim.
“Umma… umma…” Jaejoong whined at his mother.
“Baby you are beautiful and Yunho is so proud of you. You don’t have to worry. Yunho will not go anywhere.” Mrs. Kim petted his son’s hair.
“I know umma… it’s just that the thought of finally settling down makes me so excited that I could not sleep and I’m scared that the excitement will bother Yunho. I blabber nonstop whenever I am thrilled.”
“Jae, baby. Yunho has been your boyfriend for how many years? You’re each others’ first and last love. Stop being so insecure baby. Yunho has proven you enough already. He loves you, Moonbin and Youngwoong so much.” Mrs. Kim felt how Jaejoong smiled and she too genuinely smiled while she ushered Moonbin to come closer to them so that she could hug them both.
The wedding organizer came and asked for Jaejoong. He stood abruptly and almost trip without any reason making his son chuckled which the child muffled but soon laughter erupted inside the room. Jaejoong walked nervously towards the carpeted floor and breathed deeply to ease the butterflies that were fluttering in his stomach wildly.
As the song played, the crowd slowly faded away from Jaejoong’s sight. The smaller man can only see Yunho from the other end. He momentarily stopped but the movement was unnoticed by the guests because he was in between his mother and his father.
“Take care of him Yunho…” Mr. Kim said almost in a whisper. His wife was crying silently beside him as Yunho asked for their blessings once again.
Jaejoong hooked his hand on Yunho’s arm while Yunho held it using his free hand. The priest began the celebration and soon they were exchanging their bows and I do's.
“I do…” Jaejoong choked on his tears. He was enveloped within Yunho’s arms as the man said proudly his I do.
They’ve exchange stolen glances and Yunho kisses Jaejoong’s hand a few times.
Soon, they gave each other the ring as a sign of their love. Finally, the priest told Yunho to kiss the bride.
“I love you Jung Jaejoong. I love you so much and I’m really happy that finally we are one happy family in the eye of the society.”
“I love you too Yunnie… thank you… thank you for everything.”
A long passionate kiss was shared to the guests who wooed in response and it boomed a loud round of applause. Yunho pecked those lips a few more times before he let the blushing Jaejoong face the audience. The smaller man smiled shyly at Changmin who was covering Moonbin’s eyes while the child tried really hard to pry the hands off.
Yunho leaned and whispered something on his wife's ear.
"Boo you're really sexy. Can't wait to have our honeymoon."
Jaejoong covered his blushing face with his hands and heard the crowd cheer for them once more. He playfully hit Yunho on his arm while he brought their youngest baby within his hold as Yunho petted Moonbin's hair happily.
The guests applauded and shared the sweetest and the most wonderful moment of the new married couple’s life. Finally, after so many years, Yunho's long wait had come to an end. Jaejoong was truly his and nothing or no one can take the beautiful man away from him.
“Hey baby, what are you thinking off?” Yunho wrapped his arms around Jaejoong from behind as he put his chin over Jaejoong’s shoulder.
“Hmm our wedding two years ago…” Jaejoong smiled as he turned around and faced his husband. Yunho then cupped the smaller man’s face and pulled the man into a heated kiss.
“You were so gorgeous back then that I tried to control my temper and not get jealous from the stares you were receiving, the guts of those people. I should have never invited them.”
“But those girls were eyeing you too Yunnie. I wanted to pull their hair off that time but I know that you have chosen me over them so I’m happy and I hope I will make you even happier with the news I’m about to tell you.” Jaejoong nervously checked for Yunho’s mood as well as their children sleeping on their bed.
“So what is it baby?” Yunho asked as he leaned to kiss Jaejoong once more.
“Yunnie-ah… I’m—” but Jaejoong cannot finish what he was going to say because Yunho kept on kissing him.
“Yunnie…” Jaejoong whined while gently pushing Yunho.
“Yunnie listen.” Jaejoong pouted so Yunho stopped and focused his attention on the smaller man’s eye, avoiding those tempting lips because he knew he won’t be able to stop.
“Okay baby… what is it?”
“I-I’m pregnant Yunnie…” Jaejoong mumbled shyly.
Youngwoong cried loudly while Moonbin hushed his brother. The two were awakened due to Yunho’s sudden loud cheering. He began jumping up and down on the bed and Moonbin latter joined him when he too, heard the news.
“Really appa? I’m gonna have a sister?Yay!! I love you umma.” Moonbin showered his mother with kisses.
The whole mansion was soon filled with laughter when Yunho ran outside the room and began yelling on top of his voice waking up everyone who was already asleep at that time. The maids, the butlers or precisely the whole place shook as everyone cheered for Jaejoong and Yunho. They received congratulations and only stopped when Jaejoong tugged on Yunho’s sleeve and reprimanded the man for waking everyone up.
Yunho closed the door of their bedroom and faced his wife who was smiling at him sweetly.
“Yunnie ah… I love you.”
Yunho stared at those doe eyes so deep. Jaejoong got shy and avoided looking at his husband.
“I love you too my Jaejoong.”
Staring at the large family portrait of his family, Yunho smiled more in happiness as he let Jaejoong snuggled closer to his warmth. He checked if his babies were already asleep before gently pecking their foreheads so they would not wake up.
"A happy family..." Yunho whispered before he let the sleepiness take him in and soon he was dreaming of his wife and his future soccer team.
