Chapter 03
Chapter 03
"Come on Tae, come on!" Taehyung struggled, as he held his breath, trying to lift the weights over his head. Taehyung did it, and let it fall to the floor as he finally breathed. "Do the plank come on, no break yet." Taehyung looked like he was dying as he quickly got on the floor and did the plank.
"Legs straight." Taehyung straightened his legs. He was already growing tired of the older. Jungkook was almost ignoring him, not ever looking at him as he talked to him. The training was much harder too and Jungkook didn't talk as softly as he usually did.
He would normally say motivating stuff like 'You can do this' or 'Fighting!' but he was being harsh today. Taehyung had no idea why.
"Jungkook, hasn't it been two minutes?" Taehyung asked as his legs began shaking. "Your training routine gets harder the more you work out Tae, other wise you won't get anything out of it." Obviously. "Hyung I ca-" "Come on!" "And keep your legs straight!"
Taehyung did his best to ignore the pain, and held it for three minutes more, five in total. "Okay, you can stop now," Jungkook mumbled. Taehyung groaned as he got up. "Why are you being so hard on me all of a sudden?" Taehyung whined as he gulped down the water in his bottle.
"I'm not," Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows. Taehyung frowned as well. "Is this about yesterday?" "Yesterday? Nothing happened yesterday," Jungkook spoke before handing him a towel for Taehyung to wipe his sweat with. Taehyung took it and dabbed it on his forehead and the nape of his neck.
"You know what I'm talking about," Taehyung sighed. He had been up for the most part of the night just thinking about it. "No I don't." "The moment we had before Jimin and Yoongi interrupted us." Jungkook shook his head.
"I don't know what you're talking about. Now, upstairs." Jungkook pointed to the stairs. "Time for running." "Urrrggghh," Taehyung groaned. "Good job today Taehyung." "Wow, you're actually complimented me." Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows at the sassy boy in front of him. "I always do." "Yeah, expect today where you used me to take out your anger." Jungkook huffed.
"Excuse me?" "I haven't gotten much sleep because of the moment we had in your car, and what was it for? For you to deny everything and make me work out to the point where I feel like throwing up?" Jungkook shrugged.
"I'm sorry..." Taehyung shook his head. Jungkook looked around awkwardly. "Why is it so hard for you to admit? Are you still in the closet? Because you're twenty three, so it's about da-" "No, I'm not in the closet Tae...it's not that." Lucikly for Jungkook, he had a very accepting family and friends as well. Taehyung couldn't say the same though.
"Then what is it? Is it my age? Because you're not that much olde-" "No, Taehyung we just met okay?! And I'm known for taking things too quickly in my relationships all the time and it never works out." Taehyung pouted before stomping his foot. "Then take it slow." Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows.
"That- what?" Taehyung huffed before turning around to leave. But of course, Jungkook grabbed his arm. "I'm sorry. We'll take things slow. Friends, hm?" Taehyung's face softened. "Just don't completely reject me like that again...I didn't not get my beauty sleep for nothing." Jungkook chuckled.
"Why were you up thinking about it?" Taehyung shrugged. "You to-told me I had nice thighs..." Jungkook chuckled. "Well you do, baby." Taehyung looked up. Jungkook cleared his throat. "There we have Jungkook's normal fuckboy nature. He we see him in his natural habitat, as he cannot help but flirt-" "Shut up."
"Do you still feel like throwing up?" Taehyung shrugged. "It's better," he mumbled as he looked to his feet. "Wanna come home with me? I'll cook something for you." "Um...let's go to my place," Taehyung smiled before walking to the direction of his apartment.
"Is it too soon to go to my place?" Jungkook asked. "I just don't wanna be alone with you." Jungkook chuckled at his amount of bluntness. "Why? Am I intimidating?" Jungkook joked. "Yeah, kinda actually." Jungkook chuckled.
He put an arm around Taehyung's waist and brought him closer to his side, unconsciously. It was like the word 'space' got deleted from his dictionary when he was with Taehyung. Which was weird, since the two hadn't known each other for very long. Taehyung got out his keys and unlocked the front door.
As he went further into the apartment he rolled his eyes at the couple kissing and mumbling to each other on the couch before kicking off his shoes. "Don't you have work Yoongi?" he spoke as he went into the kitchen with Jungkook. "Yoongi hyung you mean?" "Right," Taehyung rolled his eyes again.
"I was actually just on my way out, but then little Jiminie here threw a tantrum," Yoongi pinched the raven haired boy's cheek. Jimin giggled before kissing Yoongi again. "Ignore them," Jungkook whispered in the younger's ear. Taehyung nodded and turned to the fridge. "So what do you wanna make?" Jungkook skimmed through his food before deciding.
"I'll make...spicy fried rice with vegetables, rice noodles, and...salmon fried in soy sauce." "Yum!" Taehyung exclaimed. He heard the door close and looked to the living room. Yoongi had left. "Uhh, can you make some for me too?" Jimin asked, skipping to the kitchen.
"Of course Jimbles." "Need help?" Jungkook shook his head. "Why don't you watch the TV or something? I'll make the food." "Okay, Kookie." "Kookie?" Jungkook and Jimin questioned. "What?" the younger looked innocently at the two. Jungkook chuckled a bit before nodding. "Nothing, I like it."
Taehyung smiled before grabbing Jimin's hand and ran to the couch.
Jungkook looked at him and smiled before beginning to make the food with a small blush on his cheeks. He would occasionally look to his side where he could see the two young boys cuddling. It was cute. Especially when Taehyung would snuggle his face even deeper inside the crook of the other boy's neck.
And when Jimin tightened his grip on Taehyung. And when they tangled their legs together and bit each other's cheeks. He couldn't help but wanting to be Jimin at that time. He wasn't jealous, he was envious. He wanted to become close enough to Taehyung for him to able to do just that. But it would take time, and he sighed at that.
Jungkook wasn't a very patient male. He usually got scolded by his mother for that. His parents were aware of Jungkook's constant change of boyfriends. It wasn't much of a problem now, but it was always a mystery to see who went out the door the next morning when Jungkook was younger and they lived together.
"So how do you like Jungkook?" Jimin whispered in Taehyung's ear. "He's alright," the younger mumbled on his neck. "Alright hm? You brought him to our apartment. Plus you were totally about to kiss yesterday." Taehyung whined making Jimin giggle. "You knew, yet you interrupted us anyways."
"Yeah because y'all just met. And I know that if you kiss him now, you'll regret it." "Why? He's hot." Jimin nodded against the side of Taehyung's cheek. "Exactly, and he kinda knows that. He's kind of a player you know..." Taehyung chuckled. "Of course he is, since he was a jock back in high school. Captain of the lacrosse team," Taehyung huffed.
"It'll stick with him forever."
"Yeah, so be careful. I don't want you hurt." Taehyung was silent for a few seconds. "I don't want you hurt either..." he whispered. "Why would I be hurt? You may not believe it, but Yoongi loves me. And I love him. Don't worry," Jimin mumbled as he began playing with Taehyung's hair. "He's a busy man...but he uses almost all of his free time on me."
"Yeah because if he doesn't, you'll cry." Jimin giggled. "And then he buys you cake and a new pair of gucci earrings, and then you fuc-" "Okay I get it." Taehyung laughed at Jimin. "But he's incredibly sweet." "He is?" Taehyung looked up at him just slightly. "Mhm. Just look past his piercings, tattoos and his cold attitude," Jimin giggled.
"He caresses my cheek and runs his fingers through my hair to make me fall asleep better. And if I get hurt, he drops everything in his arms to be there for me. And he protects me so well," Jimin smiled. Taehyung nodded.
"Yeah I guess," Taehyung mumbled. He didn't want to admit that Jimin was probably speaking the truth. "Does he even have time to protect you? I mean he literally growls at anyone who looks at you, but like...when something big happens you know?" Jimin laughed at Taehyung's attempt to find something bad about the older.
Jimin shrugged. "He makes time. Remember that idiot that's in my class who kept sexually harassing me?" Taehyung nodded. "Yeah, there's a reason why he doesn't even dare to look at me anymore," Jimin giggled. "Well he's a freshman like us! What do you expect when some twenty six year old male with piercings and tattoos, comes driving in an expensive ass car and threatens him?"
"Exactly," Jimin giggled. "Poor guy."
"Boys!" "Hm?" "Food's ready."
