POV K

As me and Cinder clash blow for blow, the Mech I'm controlling with my semblance is making quick work of the Grimm surrounding us.

K: "you're going to need new henchmen, bitch!" *Hits her sword away with Sorairo Days' sheath, destroying it due to it being glass*

Cinder: *starts to get severely angry* "If it's still about 'Her' then why betray us!? She would have come back!"

K: " she wouldn't be the same! She'd just be another Grimm minion for Salem!" *Breaks another glass blade that Cinder makes*

Cinder: *creates another* "BETTER THEN HER DYING AND NEVER COMING BACK!"

K: *breaks her blade again* "I'D RATHER HER STAY DEAD THEN TO HAVE HER COME BACK AND BE A MINDLESS MONSTER!"

POV third (with the main group)

You and Adam clashed again, pushing you both away from each other again.

(Y/n): "HEY, BULL-BITCH! YOU FORGOT TO FINISH YOUR FIRST JOB!"

Adam: "I see you were able to escape... Next time I'll kill you!"

(Y/n): "let's see you try it!"

Then you both try to attack each other again, knocking you both back away from each other, with you landing near the others.

Fredrick and Elizabeth: "(Y/n)!" *Runs up to you along with Yang and Blake*

Yang: "You ok, (Y/n)?"

(Y/n): *starts to pant a bit* "Y-yeah, just tired..."

Blake: *worried* "I-im sorry, (Y/n). This wouldn't have happened if I wasn't so obsessed with stopping the White Fang!"

(Y/n): "stop right there, Blake" *holds you hand up* "I'm the one that decided to go, plus no one could have prepared for what happened next"

Then all of a sudden, a mech breaks into the building, with someone jumping out.

Viral: *bows to Adam* "Commander Taurus, sir! Leave these humans to me, you have more important business to take care of!"

Adam: *smirks while putting sword away* "very well, Viral. I'll leave them to you." *Walks away*

Yang tries to charge at him, only for Viral to get in the way and kicking her back.

Viral: "sorry, Bimbo, Blondes aren't allowed!" *Charges at her again, only for you to jump in the way, blocking the hit, and pushing him off away*

(Y/n): "Back off, shit bag!"

Viral just smirks, then jumps in his mech, about to slam one of it's katanas down at you all.

(Y/n): "SHIT! He's got a mech!?"

Yang: "(Y/N)!"

You turn around, seeing Yang toss you something

(Y/n): *looks at it* "what's this?"

Yang: "according to Fredrick, you can summon a Mech with that."

(Y/n): "let's try it out, then." *Presses button, summoning Gurren*

Fredrick does the same, summoning Lagann as well, with both him and Elizabeth entering it.

(Y/n): "uhh... Did I forget to mention that I'm bad with mechs?..."

Fredrick (on radio): "don't worry, I designed it so you could pilot it easily, even with one arm."

(Y/n): "oh, ok... Alright, Fredrick, Elizabeth, you two ready?" *Jumps into Gurren*

Fredrick and Elizabeth: "YEAH!"

You all enter the mechs, you in Gurren and Fredrick and Elizabeth in Lagann. Meanwhile, Yang and Blake head for where (Y/n) came from to find out where K went. When they find him, he's still clashing blow for blow against Cinder, only his mech is finished defeating the Grimm in the area.

K: *notices them* "might wanna be careful, Cinder. After all, it's three on one now. And they have actual weapons."

Cinder: "Ggggrrrr!" *Throws something on the floor, causing a smoke screen to appear, preventing them from finding her*

Yang: *coughs* "WHERE'D SHE GO!?"

Blake: "forget her! We gotta head back!"

POV Leon

Just as we get back to the building, we gotta get out of the way since Lagann was just launched to where we were just at

Natalie: "Fredrick! Elizabeth! You two ok?!"

Elizabeth: "Yup... Just barely..."

Fredrick: "oh... My head..."

Then we look at where they flew from to see Gurren getting beaten down easily

(Y/n): "SHIT!!!" *flies past us just as Yang, Blake, and K return*

K: *saw them get beaten down* "damn, what'd I miss?"

(Y/n): "nothing. Let's go, you two!" *Charges at Viral*

Fredrick and Elizabeth: "Right!" *Jumps up and runs at him as well*

Gurren tries to punch him, only for Viral to trip it causing you to fall forward towards him, where he moves out of the way and kicks you away.

(Y/n): "DAMMIT! WHAT!?"

After that, Lagann jumps to slam down in 'Drill mode', but he dodges it as well before grabbing them and throwing them at you.

Elizabeth: "AHHHH!"

Fredrick: "SHIT!!!"

They land in front of you as you start to get up

(Y/n): "oh Oum, that hurts... You two ok?"

Fredrick and Elizabeth: "yeah..."

(Y/n): "hey, Fred, did you add the 'You-know-what'?"

Fredrick: "yeah, why?... Wait, YOU WANNA DO 'THAT' NOW?!"

Elizabeth: "what?..."

(Y/n): "of course... WE'RE GOING TO COMBINE!!!"

Elizabeth: "Wait, WHAT?!"

Lagann enters drill mode and then I slam it on top of Gurren, causing it to start glowing in energy

(Y/n): "It's time..."

Team DAI: "TO END THIS!"

(A/n): just a heads up, next chapter is the finale of Volume one of this story. Afterwards, I'm taking a break and might work on my other stories or work on ideas for this one.
