(A/n) just a heads up, idk 100% what Adam's Semblance is, so I'm just going with what I saw in Black trailer and the finale of Volume 3, which seems to be a counter attack type of semblance. If it's not, please let me know what it is and I might re-write this chapter.

A few hours ago:

POV (Y/n):

I start looking around for the warehouse that the paper Blake gave me is leading me to.

(Y/n): "I hope this is the place... Otherwise I've been on a long wild goose chase..."

As I got closer to the building, I see someone on the floor... Wait... IS THAT-

(Y/n): *runs up to her* "NEO!?"

As I hold her, she starts to wake up. When she see me she begins to tear up, and reaches for my scroll. When I give it to her, she shows me a message...

Neo (scroll): "Please... Leave... You'll die here..."

(Y/n): "I'm not leaving you here!" *Helps her up* "Come on, let's g-"

All of a sudden, Neo pushes me out of the way before a slash was able to connect with me, then she starts falling to the ground with tears falling from her face and a gash on her back from the attacker...

(Y/n): *trembling while going to her body* "N... N-neo?..." *Shakes her alittle* "N... Neo, th-this isn't f-f-funny... T-this isn't the time to sleep, Neo..."

I then hold her in my hands, tears running down my face.

(Y/n): *sobbing* "Get up, Neo... PLEASE!"

Then I hear clapping, coming from where the bullet came from, making me freeze in my place.

????: *Clapping* "Bravo, (Y/n)! Though, I never thought I'd see you again, let alone finding out you were the one that turned Neo against us."

I look up, only to see a face I haven't seen in years. Not since "That day".

(Y/n): "..." *Picks up Neo's body, and takes it to the door, then lays it down* "... Did you kill her, Adam?..."

He smirks

Adam: "Glad to see you st-"

(Y/n): "ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION!!"

Adam: *smirks* "A traitor dies the same way as they live, THAT'S how this world works."

Tears start falling again, now knowing he's the one that killed her...

(Y/n): *faces Adam* "... I'll kill you..."

Adam: "you can try!" *Takes a battle stance*

As I take a battle stance, I noticed I'm starting to glow green, a different color then what my aura is, but I don't care. All I care about is KILLING ADAM!

(Y/n): "NOT EVEN SALEM HERSELF CAN SAVE YOU AFTER I'M DONE WITH YOU!"

I start charging at him, only for us to clash blow after blow with our swords. Every hit sending shockwaves out away from us, one of them being powerful enough to break the windows. Then Adam jumps away from the clash, only for an army of White Fang members to charge at me with swords and guns.

(Y/n): "YOU THINK THEY'LL SAVE YOU!? ENHANCE (speed)"

Using my increased speed, I move faster then they can see, even Adam has a hard time. Within a few seconds, I cut the army down to ribbons. Then Adam yells out-

Adam: "OPEN FIRE!"

Multiple White Fang members shooting towards me, I use my (still active) enhancement on my speed to get out of the way before they noticed. As they are distracted shooting at where I was, I jumped up towards them from behind and started killing every member I run into, taking out almost all of them.

All that's left are me, Adam, and a female chameleon Faunus.

POV third person

Adam: "Go on ahead, this one's mine!" *starts charging at you while you do the same*

The two warriors clash once more, this time sending each other straight through the pillars of the warehouse, cause it to start to collapse around them, though both fighters don't care, they continue to attack one another, parrying or dodging every attack the other throws. Then both of them jump back.

Adam: "HAAAAHAHAHAH! I didn't think a HUMAN could last this long!"

(Y/n): *hair covering eyes* "I may he human, but..." *Looks at him*

(Y/n): "IM ALSO YOUR EXECUTIONER!!! ENHANCE!(strength)" *starts charging at him*

You both clash again, only this time Adam gets blown back by the power boost you got, though for some reason, he's smiling.

(Y/n): "Keep smiling Adam. I'LL ENJOY WIPING THAT SMILE OFF YOUR FACE!" *Starts charging at him again*

(A/n): if the music is still playing, then stop it to play this one.

POV (y/n):

I go charging at him, sword on my left hand, I jumped towards him about to slash down. Only this time I saw something red shine through his mask.

Adam: "This is your end, (Y/N) (L/N)!!!"

All of a sudden, my vision goes red and black, and I can't feel my left arm at all, then I see my severed hand flying forward towards the ground. As I'm still processing what happened, I feel a sharp pain go through my stomach. I look down, only to see Adam's sword go through me. Then he pulls the sword out, causing me to collapse on the floor.

Adam (muffled): "It's over now... You two, take him away, now! We might have some use for him... If he survives." *then he smirks as he walks away*

(Y/n) (in pain): "s... Shit... Go... Gotta... Tell... Ot-thers..." *Types on scroll, only being able to type "I'm sorry, bro" before passing out, dropping scroll*

Time skip to after the White Fang left

POV ????:

????: "SHIT! I'm too late... If I tell his friends, they might be able to send help... I hope an image of his arm helps" *takes the picture of (Y/n)'s severed arm, then sends it to Fredrick*

???? (Thinking): "ok, time to track you down... Don't worry, (Y/n), your master coming to help..."

Screen pulls away to show a hooded figure before he disappears to look for you.

(A/n): that's the end of this chapter. I'm not used to writing stuff like this, so sorry if it's a cringe to read. Also, surprisingly this is close to the end of Volume one of this story. Just a heads up, the story will follow the path from the RWBY show, but it will have some differences so it's not like the show, hence why there's an ambush instead of what actually happens in the show.
