Author's Notes:
Hello everyone and welcome back to "Pokémon: Alpha and Omega". Now there is a specific reason why this chapter is being posted today, and it's not because I'm ready to start this book back up with regular updates. Do you give up? ITS AMOURSHIPPING DAY! That's right, today October 17, 2018, is Amourshipping day, so Happy Amourshipping day my friends and enjoy this chapter, because it is loaded full of Amourshipping.

Now I know there are probably a few of you who are disappointed that I said this isn't the beginning of regular updates to this story. Don't worry, regular updates are coming soon, just be patient. Also, I ask you all to reread the previous two chapters. Reason being, I am still taking input on things started in my introductory chapter, and I added a little fluff to Chapter 1.

Now that that is out of the way, if you like my work please vote, leave me some comments, and please do share this story with your friends. I now present to you chapter 2. Enjoy.

It was morning in Pallet Town, and a certain raven haired trainer was waking up. Slowly he opened his eyes and pushed himself up to a seated position. He rubbed his eyes and looked at his alarm clock, which he forgot to set. The clock read seven A.M., which was earlier than he would have set his alarm, but was a good time if he was traveling through a region.

'Not bad. I guess I'm so excited to travel again my internal clock is already set,' Ash thought to himself.

Ash looked down his bed to see Pikachu wasn't there. Then he remembered how he saw Pikachu sleeping on the chair with Sylveon last night. A smile then formed on his face as he also remembered what happened with Serena last night, as she became his girlfriend. Ash then threw off the covers and went to the bathroom to wash up.

Upon washing up and changing his clothes, Ash walked down stairs. As he walked the smell of breakfast cooking made it so he could have found his way blindfolded, however the thought of seeing Serena this morning was what motivated him to move.

As he entered the living room he saw his Pokémon were already eating, and Pikachu with a small cup of ketchup. Once he arrived at the kitchen he stood in the entrance with tunnel vision. All he saw was Serena standing in front of the stove making breakfast. Ash walked in as if he was in a trance, even his Pokémon took notice of this as they watched him, concerned for his well being. As he arrived behind Serena he wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her cheek.

"Good morning beautiful," Ash said sweetly.

He looked at Serena and saw her face was as red as a tomato, and her eyes were wide.

"Serena are you ok? Did I misinterpret last night? We are boyfriend and girlfriend aren't we?" Ash asked concerned.

"You didn't misinterpret anything, is just, well..." Serena was saying as she gestured behind them.

Ash turned his head to see his mother sitting at the kitchen table sipping a cup of coffee. As the cup left her lips a sly smile could be seen.

"Please don't stop on my account. This is better than any romance movie I've seen in years," Delia stated in an almost teasing manner.

"Umm, Good morning Mom," Ash said slightly nervous.

"I didn't tell your mom we were a couple yet. I was going to wait for you and ask how you wanted to tell her," Serena explained.

"Honestly as far as I'm concerned this was better than any way either of you would have come up with," Delia commented, then took another sip of her coffee.

Ash then saw the Pokémon looking into the kitchen out of the corner of his eye. He focused on them and saw a mixture of shocked and excited faces. Serena's were more of a combination of the two. Ash's were mostly shocked, as this was way out of character for him. Pikachu and Greninja were of course happy, as their love interests were Serena's Pokémon.

Decidueye would have preferred Mallow so he could be closer to her Tsareena, while Incineroar would have preferred Lillie because of Snowy. Lycanroc and Kommo-o couldn't care less who Ash was with, as long as he was happy they were happy for him, and despite their preferences, the others were happy for him too.

"Ash why don't you take a seat, breakfast is almost ready," said Serena.

"Ok," Ash replied.

He then gave Serena a quick peck on the lips, which this time left her smiling brightly, then walked to the table. As he walked to the table Delia kept her eyes on him with a small smile on her face, as she saw the blush on his cheeks and big smile on his face.

"What?" Ash asked as he noticed his mother's expression.

"Oh nothing, I'm just realizing how much you've grown up this past year," Delia replied.

"Breakfast is served," said Serena as she placed a plate stacked high with pancakes on the table.

"Those look and smell delicious, thank you for making them," said Ash, who then leaned in and gave Serena another kiss on the cheek.

Serena blushed madly from this. She was just loving all the affection Ash was giving, and knew it would calm down eventually, but was going to enjoy every second of it while it lasted.

"Agreed Serena, thank you. You really didn't have to do this," Delia added.

"I'm happy to do it, besides you've been letting me stay here even though you barely know me. I feel like it's the least I can do," Serena replied.

"So now that we are all seated and you two have no good excuses to run off right now, how about you two tell me how you became a couple last night," Delia said with a smirk.

Ash and Serena blushed slightly from being caught off guard like that. They then took turns explaining everything, from the kiss in Kalos, to Ash's conversation with Brock and Misty, all the way to the goodnight kiss as they separated last night to go to bed.

"Well I must admit, that was some story. I don't know if it's because Ash is my son, but I feel like that was better than any romance movie I've ever seen. I'm so happy for you two," Delia said with a big smile.

Ash and Serena smiled back as they held each others hand on top of the table, thankful that they had Delia's blessings.

"So what do you two have planned for today?" Delia asked.

"Well I need to bring my Pokémon to Professor Oak's lab. So I guess we'll spend a little time there. Serena if you'd like I can introduce you to the rest of my Pokémon," said Ash.

"That sounds great, but first I need to call Palermo to tell her we need two plane tickets and find out when our flight leaves," Serena replied.

"Actually we should probably go to Viridian City to get some supplies also. I know most of my camping gear is either worn out or too small for me now, and I probably need to get some new clothes for our travels," Ash added.

"And I don't know what you have for cooking supplies, but I don't think mine will be big enough for the two of us," Serena added.

"In that case we need new cooking supplies, since I don't have any. I've never had to deal with that before since I always traveled with someone else who had that stuff," Ash replied.

"Well it seems that you two have a busy day planned. Serena I'll take care of the dishes, so you two can get moving. Also don't forget to call your mother to fill her in on how things are going," said Delia.

Delia and Mimey then started to clean up from breakfast, as Ash and Serena split up to get ready. Ash ran upstairs to pull out his camping gear to evaluate what he needed, while Serena walked over to the video phone to call Palermo.

Serena arrived at the video phone and began dialing the number for Palermo. The phone rang a few times before a young woman, a few years older the Serena picked up.

"Palermo's office, this is Jessica speaking how may I help you?" Said the woman who identified herself as Jessica.

"Hello Jessica it's Serena. Is Palermo in?" Serena replied.

"Yes she is," Jessica said as she appeared to be looking around on the screen.

"What are you doing?" Serena asked.

"Well, rumor has it that you are in Kanto after a guy. I'm just trying to spot him to see if he's cute," Jessica replied.

"Jessica please just transfer me to Palermo," Serena said with a blush and slightly flustered.

"Ok, just a minute," Jessica replied in a disappointed tone.

The call went silent as Serena was put on hold. Serena took a deep breath to regain her composure. Soon Palermo's face appeared on the screen.

"Hello Serena, how is Pallet Town?" Palermo asked.

"How did you know I was in Pallet Town? I only told you I was going to Kanto," Serena questioned.

"Serena dear, I remember when you first got my attention. You were traveling with two boys close to your age and a little girl. After you declined my first offer to train you, I decided to look into these two boy, thinking a love interest might have been why you declined. After the Lumiose Crisis I saw you with the young man who usually had the Pikachu on his shoulder. Your interactions around him made it clear to me your interest in him. Then you tell me your going to Kanto with the hopes of taking someone as a traveling companion, it was clear to me where you were going," Palermo explained.

"Am I really that easy to read?" Serena asked as she dropped her head.

"Only to someone who's lived as long as I have. Which I must say, you have a good choice in men, he has quite a resume here, a much better choice than the gym leader. Which begs the question, is he coming, and in what capacity?" Palermo asked.

"Yes, my boyfriend is coming," Serena replied as she smiled with a slight blush.

Palermo smiled, "very good, congratulations Serena. Now don't let him distract you from your responsibilities ."

"Thank you, and I won't," Serena replied.

"Good. Now there has been a slight change in plans. As I'm sure you remember for your participation with this, you will be given three special Princes Keys to get you into the next Master Class. For logistics, and so I could get this past the rest of the showcase board this is where things change," Palermo started.

"What kind of changes," Serena asked curiously.

"Well for starters, because of an extra person traveling with you, the expense budget we originally were going to give won't be enough. So it's been increased to five thousand pokedollars a month. Also, to help get this past the board we are going to be launching a massive social media campaign. We want the two of you to do more than the scheduled showcase performances. Experience the culture, take part in festivals, and traditions. From what I've seen of Ash he tends to participate in the Pokémon Leagues, document that as well. The other performers will be doing this as well, so if you happen to run into each other, perhaps you can make posts together. Our hopes are by the time your done, not only will it increase the popularity of Pokémon performing in Kalos and Torant, but also get the other regions to beg us to start showcases there as well," Palermo explained excitedly.

"Well that sounds like a lot of fun," Serena commented.

"That's what were going for, we want to make the traveling to showcase look like so much fun more trainers will be wanting to participate. Now as for the social media aspect, Jessica and I have been searching for Ash Ketchum on pokevision and pokebook, but we can't find him anywhere. I'm hoping you can get us is information so we can put a link on the showcase pokebook page," said Palermo.

"I don't think he has an account for either of those," said Serena.

"You must be kidding me. I thought everyone your age had one. Why doesn't he?" Palermo commented.

"Because I've never had a reason to have one," Ash commented as he walked down the stairs.

"Oh hello Mr. Ketchum, I'm Palermo," Palermo said introducing herself.

"Your the woman who's been training Serena, nice to meet you," Ash replied.

Palermo then looked as if she was studying Ash.

"Yes, this will work quite nicely," said Palermo.

"Quite nicely for what?" Asked Ash.

He looked to Serena, who looked to be as confused as he was.

"Nothing you need to worry about now. Serena dear, please explain the plan to him. I will also be emailing a new schedule for your performances. I decided to rework it to line up with cities that have Pokémon League gyms in  them or near by, to make things a little easier for you and Ash there," Palermo said.

"Thank you very much," Ash and Serena said at the same time, causing them both to giggle a little.

Palermo smiles at the sight of young love.

"Also, your flight will be in two days. I'll email you the itinerary. Now good luck you two, I'll be following your progress. Goodbye," Palermo concludes.

"Bye," Ash and Serena both said, then the screen went blank.

"So Serena, what plan was she talking about? Ash asked.

Serena then explained everything to him.

"Ok, so I need a pokebook page. How do I get one of those?" Ash asked.

"Well we can make you one on a smartphone, that way you can do updates while we travel," Serena replied.

"Ok, but I don't have a smartphone," said Ash.

"Why am I not surprised," Serena said with a smirk, then pulled him down and gave him a kiss on the lips.

"Aww, you two are just so cute together," Delia gushed, causing Ash and Serena to break the kiss and blush.

"Thanks mom. So it looks like I need a smartphone now. Can we get one at the mall?" Ash asked.

"Ash when was the last time you went to a mall," Serena asked in a surprised tone.

"Alola, but I only visited the food court. And the only store I ever go to at the Viridian City mall is Outdoor World for my camping gear," Ash replied.

"I see, well yes we can get a phone at the mall. Maybe they'll have a deal for two phones, mine is a bit old, and the screen cracked in Hoenn," said Serena.

"Just to make things easier you two should just get your phones on the same plan," Delia suggested.

"Great idea Mom. I just went through my cold weather gear, I need a new coat and boots too. Nothing seems to fit anymore. I'm going to throw my shoes on and grab my Pokémon, then I'll be ready to head out," Ash said.

He then gave Serena a quick peck on the lips and ran off. Since he was wearing shorts and a tee shirt, it was clear to Serena why his stuff was too small for him. He was not the same boy she knew in Kalos, she didn't even think she could call him a boy anymore. Ash used to be about an inch shorter than her, and looked like he was developing muscle but was still pretty skinny. Now he was several inches taller than her, and had developed some clearly bigger muscles. No Ash was not a boy anymore, he was clearly a man. A man that she couldn't wait to travel with again, hopefully share a tent with, and have those muscular arm wrap around her and hold her all night long.

"Hello, earth to Serena," said Ash as he waved his hand in front of her face.

"I'm sorry, did you say something," Serena said as she snapped out of her day dream.

"Are you ok?" Ash asked.

"I'm fine, I was just thinking about something," Serena replied.

"Thinking about what?" Ash asked.

"Um, our sleeping arrangements," Serena replied nervously.

"Great, I was thinking about the same thing," said Ash.

"You were?" Serena asked surprised.

"Yup. I actually wanted to ask you a question about that. Since I'm already going to have to buy a new tent, do you just want to get a tent big enough for us to share?" Ash asked.

'Did Ash start reading minds? I was just thinking about that. What are the odds that he just happened to have the same thought as me? Regardless, thank you for this Acreus,' Serena thought to herself.

"That sounds like a great idea," Serena replied.

"Great, well let's get going!" Ash said excitedly.

Ash then took Serena by the hand, and lead her to the door where they put their shoes on, grabbed their pokeballs, and headed out the door.

As they walked towards Professor Oak's lab Delia stood at the window watching them with a nervous expression.

"It was only a coincidence Delia. There's no way this is just happening now, if it was going to happen it would have happened before now," Delia said to herself, her voice shaking.

"Mime mime?" Mimey asked in a concerned tone as he saw Delia's expression.

Delia snaps back to normal upon hearing Mimey's concern.

"I'm fine Mimey, nothing to worry about. Now let's finish up here and head to the store, there's something I need to get for Ash and Serena before they go," Delia replied, then walked off.

Mimey just watched her as she left, knowing there was more going on than she was willing to share.

Ash and Serena walked down the path to Professor Oak's lab, hand in hand, with Pikachu riding on Ash's shoulder. Instead of going up to the lab, they decided to climb over the low fence instead. Ash went over first, then Serena. As Serena was climbing over, Ash put his hands on Serena's waist to help her down as she pushed off while facing one another. By the time Serena's feet were on the ground, they were face to face, only inches apart. Serena then decided to be a little playful, she leaned in and gave him a quick peck on the lips then took off running.

"Come and catch me Ashy," Serena teased.

Ash smiled and took off after her, with Pikachu right beside him. As Ash was closing in, they both noticed several large shadows on the ground coming from above. They stopped running and looked up to see several flying types circling above them. Serena felt nervous and got close behind Ash.

"Do you think they are friendly?" Serena asked as she strained to see them.

Ash tried to see them as well, but neither could due to the sun blinding them.

"I've don't know exactly who they are, but I've got a good feeling that they are mine," Ash replied.

"How can you be sure?" Serena asked, holding on to Ash even tighter.

"I don't know, it's just my gut instincts," Ash replied.

Moments later, three Pokémon landed, a shiny Noctowl, a Glicor, and a Noivern.

"I knew they were my Pokémon," Ash said as he walked to them.

Serena, now felling better knowing they weren't dangerous, walked over to join Ash. Ash was petting the Pokémon, who were very happy to see him. As soon as Noivern saw Serena he happily walked over to her and gave her a hug.

"I'm happy to see you too Noivern," Serena said as she returned the hug.

"Serena, I'd like you to meet two of my other Pokémon, Noctowl, who I caught in the Johto region, and Glicor, who I caught in the Sinnoh region," Ash said as Serena walked over.

"Guys, this is Serena, she's my girlfriend,"Ash introduced.

The Pokémon then looked at Ash confused.

"Ash what's wrong?" Serena asked when she saw their expression.

"I don't," Ash started then face palmed as he realized the problem, "they don't understand the concept of a girlfriend."

"Well how do we explain it to them?" Serena asked.

"I'm not sure," Ash said as he thought. "I know. Pikachu, you understand the concept of Serena being my girlfriend right?"

Pikachu nodded.

"Great, do you think you can explain?" Asked Ash.

Pikachu gave a thumbs up, then walked to the flying Pokémon.

"Hi guys," Pikachu said as he walked up.

"Hi Pikachu. So what's a girlfriend," asked Glicor.

"It's a title male humans give to female humans, when the male and female see each other as more than friends, but not quite mates yet," Pikachu explained.

"Why do humans have to have such complicated relationships?" Asked Noctowl.

"It's not that complicated," said Pikachu.

"So when will Serena lay an egg so they can be mates?" Asked Noivern.

The other Pokémon sweatdropped as they looked at Noivern.

"Noivern, humans don't lay eggs," said Pikachu with a deadpanned expression.

"But Hawlucha told me that's where babies come from, eggs," Noivern replied back.

"That's Pokémon, not humans. The conception part is the same, but the birth isn't. Human babies are just born, they don't hatch," explained Noctowl.

"Ok, I get it now. But how are babies conceived?" Noivern asked.

The Pokémon sweatdropped again.

"Why don't you ask Hawlucha, I'm sure he would love to explain it to you," Glicor replied, slightly sarcastically.

As the Pokémon are talking, Ash and Serena are standing there waiting, and seeing the expressions on their faces as they talk to Noivern.

"Do you think they understand?" Asked Serena.

Ash didn't respond. Serena looked at Ash to see a slight blush on his face.

"Ash are you alright?" Serena asked as she gave Ash a little shake.

"Sorry I'm fine. I just....I think I'm understanding their conversation," Ash said shocked.

"Are you sure? What are they saying?" Serena asked.

"I'm not positive, but something similar has happened before, so I think so. And I don't understand how it got to this point, but I think they are now explaining where babies come from to Noivern," Ash replied.

Serena blushed intensely as she knew this somehow involved her and Ash considering how the conversation was supposed to start.

They stood there for a few more seconds before they heard a low rumble in the distance, then the ground started to shake.

"Ash what's going on? An earthquake?" Serena asked a little scared as she had never experienced an earthquake before.

Ash held Serena as he tried to brace them both from the shaking. He tried to think of the possible causes, when it all of a sudden dawned on him and his eyes shot wide.

"Oh no," Ash said.

He quickly looked at the flying types, only one was big enough to carry a person. Ash quickly grabbed Serena's hand and pulled her to Noivern.

"Ash what's going on?" Serena asked in a scared tone.

But Ash didn't answer.

"Serena climb onto Noivern's back now and hold on tight. Noivern take Serena up into the air until it's safe. Pikachu get onto Glicor. Glicor, Noctowl, you guys go up too," Ash instructed.

"Ash what about you? What's happening?" Serena asked concerned.

"You'll see soon, but don't worry about me I can handle it. Now go," Ash responded, the urgency clear in his voice.

Noivern and the others took to the air. Serena looked down at Ash and saw him looking in another direction. She followed his eyes to see a dust cloud, she squinted and could tell the dust cloud was closing in. Then she saw it, a whole herd of Tauros stampeding towards Ash.

"Ash run," Serena screamed.

Serena now understood what was happening, and why he sent her up while he stayed. Only Noivern was big enough to carry a human, and only one. Ash put her up there to protect her.

Ash heard Serena's scream, but didn't respond he knew what was about to happen.

'I know they just like to trample me to show their affection towards me, but why can't they just do it in a less painful way,' Ash thought to himself as he saw the stampede closing in.

Then Ash had an idea. He took off in a dead sprint towards the stampede. Unbeknownst to Ash as he ran his eyes started to glow blue, and he started to run even faster.

Serena watched from above in horror as she saw her boyfriend charging at the Tauros. Tears started to form in her eyes as she thought she was about to witness his death.

Ash was charging towards his Tauros, and just as they were about to trample him, he jumped up as he grabbed the horn of the lead Tauros, and spun around landing on his back.

"I can't believe that worked," Ash said to himself in shock.

"Mooo,"all the Tauros said in unison, happy to see their trainer again.

"Happy to see you guys too," Ash said as he patted the lead Tauros on the head.

The Tauros then started to slow down. Once they stopped Ash climbed off and the Tauros begin to nuzzle and lick Ash.

"Hahaha, happy to see you all again too," Ash said happily as he started patting all the other Tauros.

Upon seeing it was safe, the flying types landed. Serena jumped off of Noivern and ran through the Tauros to Ash.

"Ash!" Serena cried as she pushed her way through the Tauros.

They moved out of her way as she tried to get through them. They didn't know who she was, but they knew she was trying to get to their trainer, and was clearly worried about him.

Upon making it to Ash Serena threw herself at him, wrapping her arms around him and burying her face in his chest as she cried.

"I was so worried I was going to lose you," Serena sobbed.

Ash wrapped him arms around Serena and held her in a comforting hug, then kissed her head.

"Don't worry Serena I'm ok, and I'm going to make sure I stay that way," Ash said in soothing tone.

Serena looked up at Ash and saw a comforting smile, and then smiled herself as she started to calm down. Ash then leaned down and kissed her lips, which Serena returned.

The Tauros and flying Pokémon looked on curiously. The Tauros didn't know who Serena was, but they understood kissing was a way of showing affection, so they just decided to consider Serena as Ash's mate and leave it at that.

They broke the kiss and noticed all of the Tauros looking at them while smiling.

"So um Ash, are one of these Tauros yours?" Serena asked.

"Actually all thirty of them are mine. Trampling me is just how they show their affection to me. I don't know how, but thankfully they never manage to hurt me too bad. But I didn't want to take that chance with you, that's why I sent you up with Noivern," Ash replies.

"How and why did you capture thirty Tauros?" Serena asked.

Ash chuckled. "Come on, I'll explain as we walk up to the lab."

Then with his hand around Serena's waist, Ash lead her as they continued their walk to the lab, followed by Ash's herd of Tauros.
