Groggily, Serena woke up as her eyes opened slowly. She was on her side. She tried to roll onto her back but couldn't as something was pressed up against her. She then felt something pressing up against her skin holding her from under the covers. She lifted the covers and stared for a few seconds at the arm going across her chest and hand cupping her right breast. Her eyes widened and her face became bright red as she fully awakened upon seeing the sight. She then relaxed a little bit as the memories from last night flooded her head. Serena then smiled as last night she lost her virginity to her once crush, now boyfriend, always love of her life. She then became curious as she felt something hard between her thighs. Serena reached down and grabbed it, resulting in a moan from Ash. In this moment Serena fully understood the phrase "morning wood." Serena then felt light kisses being planted on her neck.
"Good morning," Serena giggled from the kisses.
"Good morning my love," Ash whispered in her ear.
Serena smiled and tried to push herself closer to Ash as his arm pulled her in even more. They stay like this for a few minutes with Ash's hand roaming over Serena's naked body as he continued to plant kisses on Serena's neck, and even nibbled a little on her ear lobe. Serena giggled and gave soft moans from the attention she was receiving. But Serena didn't let it last, as she removed Ash's hand and rolled over, then forced Ash onto his back as she now gave him the same attention. Ash had to admit he liked this new side of Serena, and she showed they both had the same idea as he felt her hand grab him.
————————————————————————
It was about an hour later now. Serena was in the bathroom brushing her hair after taking a shower, which felt better than usual, no doubt due to the events from last night and this morning. As she looked in the mirror she giggled a little as she saw the hickeys on her neck, a fun reminder of last night. She then pulled out some makeup to cover them up, as she knew she would get some looks from people that she didn't want. She was putting her hairbrush and makeup back in her bag when she saw something in her bag that slapped her off of cloud nine and back to reality.
————————————————————————
Ash was in the Pokémon Center cafeteria with the Pokémon. After their morning activities in the bed, Serena realized the time, and that they had to pick their Pokémon up from the daycare very soon. This resulted in Ash getting ready in record setting time, and leaving to pick up both of their Pokémon. It was agreed that Ash and their Pokémon were going to eat breakfast while Serena got ready, so they could save time since they had to go to the arena for the tournament.
Ash was already done eating while the Pokémon were almost done when Serena walked in. Ash decided to help by getting Serena some breakfast already, which consisted of fresh fruit and toast as it usually was when they were at a Pokémon Center. He then smiled as Serena walked in with a serious look on her face.
"Serena, is everything ok?" Ash asked.
"Yes and no. It's about last night, and this morning," Serena replied.
"If it's about those marks on your neck, I'm sorry, and I'll try not to let that happen again," Ash apologized.
"Actually no, but thank you. Just be a little easier next time, hopefully that will help. What I'm referring to is, we didn't use condoms last night or this morning," Serena replied.
"Oh, right. I forgot about those," Ash replied.
"It's ok. There isn't any point stressing about it now, but we need to use them in the future, neither of us are ready to be parents just yet," Serena replied.
"No problem, I'll be sure to remember next time," Ash replied.
Serena then began eating as Ash got up and ran down to their room for his required outfit. As he ran there and back, the thought of having kids with Serena ran through his head.
After returning to Serena, they both returned their Pokémon and ran to the arena, as they were running late. Ash and Serena quickly split up, but not before Serena's passionate good luck kiss. Serena then went inside with William and Isla, while Ash went into the trainer's waiting room. Upon entering the room he quickly ran into a changing room and threw on his outfit quickly. Ash was very happy that he only loosened his tie as he was tightening it as he walked out of the room with official for his first match.
———————————————————————-
That day's matches went by fairly easily for Ash, battling twice and winning with a little less difficulty than his first match. Amber won her matches as well, making her a fan favorite as the first girl to make it that far. The next day Ash and Amber won their first matches, leaving their next opponents to be each other.
Ash and Amber were inside their tunnels, the winner would next battle the champion. Ash had been using a different Tauros for every match, while Amber was sending hers to the Pokémon center after every match to be healed. She had been lucky, as many of the competitors were being more violent than usual to try and leave her Tauros unable to compete in another match, even if she did win. Thankfully for her though they all failed and her Tauros would only be left with bruises and be tired.
They both were staring down one another, but not in an intimidating manner. In these past few days, these two trainers had become friends and had a good deal of respect for one another. Ash didn't plan on using his aura to communicate with his Pokémon in the first place. He only did it because he wanted to mess with the head of his first opponent because he was a jerk. After that match he went back to making vocal commands, however it was short lived. Amber wanted Ash to battle her like he did his first opponent without making verbal commands. Amber didn't want to ever be looked on as weak, and definitely didn't want another trainer to be easy on her, especially if it's a friend.
"This will be a one on one battle between Ash Ketchum and Amber Amaya Fia with no time limit. The match will be decided when either side's Tauros is unable to battle. Both trainers send out your Tauros," announced the referee.
Ash and Amber both released their Tauros, who both stomped the ground as they gave a battle moo.
"Battle Begin!"
"Tauros, tackle!"
"Use take down."
Both Pokémon started charging at one another. Ash could read Amber's aura, and could tell she was up to something. Like several of the trainers, Amber had taught her Pokémon some interesting moves, like fire blast, and several rock type moves. Despite seeing these moves, Ash remained prepared just in case there were some other moves.
"Now ice beam!" Amber yelled.
Amber's Tauros opened his mouth as a light blue ball formed in front of it, then fired several light blue beams that resembled lightning.
"Double team."
Suddenly the battlefield held dozens of copies of Ash's Tauros, all still charging at Amber's. The ice beam passed through a copy and froze a small part of the battlefield. Ash's Tauros then slammed into Amber's Tauros, causing it to tumble on the ground. Her Tauros finally came to a stop and got back up to its feet.
"Double edge."
Ash's Tauros glowed with a golden aura as it started charging at Amber's, leaving gold streaks behind it. Amber saw Ash's Tauros coming in fast, and knew she needed a counter. She then noticed the frozen chunk of the battlefield, and had an idea.
"Ice beam on the battlefield by his hooves," Amber called out
Her Tauros fires another ice beam, this time on the battlefield in front of Ash's Tauros. The ice formed fast and Ash's slipped and fell on it, still moving forward from its momentum.
"Make an ice trail to the wall," Said Amber.
Her Tauros did as she said and continued the ice beam, creating a frozen path for Ash's Tauros to continue sliding until it hit the wall.
"Now fire blast!" Amber yelled, trying to keep up the pressure.
Amber's Tauros stopped the ice beam and took a deep breath, then blew out a fireball that formed into the Kanji symbol.
"Quick get up!" Ash yelled with his aura.
But it was too late and Ash's Tauros was hit by the powerful fire attack. Tauros flew a few feet from the explosion, his body smoking for the flames, but still he stood back up, ready to continue.
"Alright Tauros, were not done yet. Thunder followed by horn attack and finish with stone edge!" Said Ash.
Tauros' horns sparked with yellow electricity, then fired a power electric blast at Amber's Tauros. He cried out in pain from the powerful attack. Then as he was recovering he saw Ash's charging right for him.
"Tauros dodge then horn attack!" Amber yelled.
Her Tauros tried to move but stopped as his body sparked with electricity, showing he was paralyzed. Ash's Tauros slammed into Amber's and threw him up into the air. Then as he was on his way down, Ash's Tauros got up on his hind legs and then slammed his front ones down. A stone pillar glowing blue shot out of the ground and hit Amber's Tauros, sending him back up into the air. Amber's Tauros crashes back into the ground just a few feet in front of her with swirly eyes.
"Amber's Tauros is unable to battle, making Ash Ketchum the winner!" Announced the referee. "And this means Ash Ketchum will be facing the Tauros Battle Champion in one hour."
Ash returned his Tauros and thanked it, then walked over to Amber who was doing the same.
"That was a good match, that ice beam on the ground was a really good idea," Ash said as he extended his hand to her.
"Thanks. That Tauros of yours is really powerful, I didn't expect so many moves so fast," Amber replied as she shook his hand.
————————————————————————
Ash was waiting inside the competitor waiting area inside the arena. Upon winning his match against Amber his Tauros was sent to the Pokémon Center via transfer machine, to get it healed quickly. Ultimately he didn't have to send his Tauros to Nurse Joy to be healed right away since he had another one to battle with, but he also didn't want to keep Tauros from getting healed longer than needed. And it wasn't like it was holding him up, as the battlefield was undergoing some quick repairs before his final match.
Ash was bored as he waited by the transfer machine. He had to stay there and wait for Nurse Joy to call back so she could return his Tauros. He wished Serena could at least come and visit, but he learned on the first day that it was against the rules. Ash chuckled a little as he remembered asking the Tournament Champion Victor, if Serena was allowed to come down. Shortly after telling them that she couldn't, he asked Ash how many Tauros he had. Everyone's expression was priceless when he told him he had thirty. Though everyone had a good laugh after he told them all the story of how he ended up with so many.
Ash had used five Tauros so far, and this next one was the strongest, the herd leader. It was a position well deserved, as he was the clear strongest, and worked the hardest out of the others to learn as many moves as he could. Which also left him with the biggest variety of moves.
Ring Ring Ring, came from the video phone.
"Hello Nurse Joy," Ash greeted as he answered.
"Hello Ash, your Tauros is all healed up and ready to go," Nurse Joy stated.
They then began the transfer process, and in a few seconds the transfer was complete.
"Transfer complete, thank you very much," Ash said as he showed the pokeball.
"Your welcome and good luck," Nurse Joy replied, then ended the call.
A few minutes later an official arrived to escort him to the battlefield.
————————————————————————
Ash and Victor were standing on the battlefield, both of their Tauros out of their Pokeballs. Victor was wearing a black and silver matador outfit with a sword attached to his hip that matched his black and grey Tauros.
"Both Trainers ready?" Asked the referee.
Ash and Victor both nodded.
"Battle Begin!"
"Tauros, horn attack!"
"Horn attack!"
Both Tauros charged each other, then slammed their heads together as they locked their horns. Both trainers knew the real purpose of this attack was gauge the strength of the other Tauros, and that not much damage was going to be dealt. The two powerful Tauros pushed at each other with full force, neither one willing to give their opponent an inch. Ash's Tauros had its hooves dug into the ground to try and get more leverage to hold its position. Ash was very happy William trained with him by battling with his Tauros, because it gave him the right perspective for this match.
"Tauros drop your hind legs to make him lose his balance, then push up and throw him into the air," Ash said with his aura.
Ash's Tauros bent his knees while still keeping his footing. Victor's Tauros moved forward, then Ash's pushed up with his hind legs, hitting Vicotr's Tauros from below and threw him up into the air.
"Use surf!" Victor yelled.
Victor's Tauros made a loud cry and a large wave of water formed, catching him as he fell. He then rode the wave towards Ash's Tauros.
"Use stone edge underneath you, quick!"
Ash's Tauros got up on his hind legs then slammed his front legs down quick. A stone pillar glowing blue formed under Tauros, sending him up into the air. The water broke on the pillar, making it look as if Ash's Tauros was safe. But then Victor's Tauros came up on the wave. He jumped out of the wave and hit Ash's Tauros, knocking him off of the pillar and into the water. Luckily for Ash and his Tarous the wave didn't last but a few more seconds before it ended, and very little damage was taken. Victor's Tauros emerged from the wave back on his feet, while Ash's was was laying in the mud. Ash's got up quickly, but Ash was worrying about their current situation, as he didn't know what moves Victor's Tauros knew, so measures needed to be taken.
"Tauros, sunny day."
Ash's Tauros mooed loudly and sun shined brighter.
"Tauros, thunderbolt!" Victor yelled.
With the ground being wet this move was guaranteed to hit. The horns on Victor's Tauros sparked with yellow electricity and fired a bolt that hit Ash's, making him cry out in pain. When the attack finished, Ash's Tauros was still standing while breathing heavily, as steam came from his body from the water that was evaporating from the water due to the electricity heating it.
"Tauros, flamethrower and earthquake," Ash called out with his aura, determined to start doing some damage.
Ash's Tauros raised his front legs then slammed them down causing the ground to shake violently. As the ground shook and Victor's Tauros took damage as he tried to keep his footing, Ash's opened his mouth and blew out a red orange stream of fire, which was even stronger due to sunny day still in effect.
Victor's Tauros cried out in pain from the two powerful attacks. But Ash wasn't done yet.
"Now Solarbeam to end this," Ash told Tauros calmly.
Due to sunny day still in effect the Solarbeam charged quickly, and the white beam fired at Victor's Tauros.
"Nice try, stone edge!" Victor yelled.
Victor's Tauros stomped his front legs onto the ground, and light blue glowing pillars shot up in front of him. The Solarbeam hit the pillars and destroyed them, but did no damage to Victor's Tauros. Then Ash saw more pillars going up around the two Pokémon, with only the gap that he created, right where only Victor could see inside.
"A little hard to give any commands if you can't see what's going on!" Victor yelled at Ash.
Ash looked up at the one of the two large screens that was showing the battle. He saw the two Tauros standing there, ready to continue. Ash was thankful for those screens right now, as he could still battle this way. Ash then noticed Victor doing something, it looked like he was messing with his watch. This didn't make sense to Ash, so he used his aura to see through Tauros's eyes for a better look. Ash became shocked as he saw Victor was putting a Z crystal into a Z ring.
"TAUROS BLOOM DOOM!" Ash yelled out to Tauros so he knew what Z move to use.
Both Ash and Victor performed the synchronized moves for their Z moves with their Tauros. Ash's outfit didn't have pockets, so he pre-chose a Z crystal to keep in his Z power ring before every match, based on the strongest move his Tauros knew.
"BLOOM DOOM!" "TECTONIC RAGE!" Ash and Victor yelled as they completed the moves.
Ash's Tauros became surrounded with a green aura, as the battlefield became covered in flowers. Meanwhile Victor's quickly dug underground and charged at Ash's. The energy around Ash's Tauros expanded as Victor's emerged from the ground.
There was then a large explosion, destroying the stone pillars. Anyone who was standing that wasn't prepared was knocked back off their feet, and everyone shielded their eyes from the debris that was sent up from the explosion created by the two Z moves. Dust filled the arena, and took several minutes to settle enough so the spectators could see. Another minute later Ash and Victor could both be seen, both with a nervous expression on their faces. Ash could feel his Tauros's aura and could tell he was still conscious, but very weak and badly hurt to the point he could collapse at any second. Soon both Tauros could be seen standing, much to everyone's amazement. Without being given a command, both Tauros took a step forward to continue the battle. They were both extremely wobbly, showing this battle was going to be over any second now. Ash's Tauros took another step, then started to collapse but caught himself and remained standing. Then Victor's started to take a step, but didn't finish and fell down onto his side.
"The Tournament Champion Victor's Tauros is unable to battle. Making Ash Ketchum this year's tournament winner!" Announced the referee.
Upon hearing this Ash's Tauros decided he had nothing left to prove, and lowered himself to the ground and laid there as he rested. Ash walked up to his Tauros and knelt down beside him.
"You did amazing Tauros, thank you," Ash said graciously as he put his hand on his head.
As this happened Victor returned his Tauros and thanked it, then walked over to Ash.
"Ash," Victor said getting his attention.
Ash realized Victor was standing by him and stood up to face him.
"That was one hell of a battle, and I'm happy you had Z crystals. I've been wanting to use mine in an official battle for over a year now, but didn't feel I could since no one else had them. So thank you," Said Victor as he extended his had.
Ash smiled. "Your welcome, that was a great battle," Ash said as he shook Victor's hand.
Victor then removed the sword from his hip still in its scabbard, and held it out to Ash.
"Ash, this sword is the trophy for winning the tournament. It is a recreation of the sword carried by the prince that started the Tauros Tournament," Victor explained.
Ash took the sword, the handle was plated in gold with the picture of a Tauros carved into it. He pulled out the blade to see a gold design of Tauros that went almost halfway up the blade. Ash put the sword back into the scabbard, which was more plain, but still had gold on both ends.
"Thank you very much," Ash said.
————————————————————————
It was the evening now. Ash, Serena, William, Isla, and Amber celebrated Ash's victory at the Fiesta, where they received many invitations to people's casetas as a congratulations. Winning the tournament was a very big deal to the people of Seville, so even those who didn't give him an invitation did give him their congratulations. In just a day he became a small celebrity, posing with people for pictures and signing autographs. This did also come with several young women making advancements toward him, giving him kisses, their phone numbers, and even a few hotel room keys. Ash tried to tell these girls he already had a girlfriend, but some moved too fast for Ash to tell them, and some that didn't deter all of them. With even one of the girls who gave him a hotel room key saying Serena was welcome to come as well, that left both Ash and Serena a little uncomfortable. Regardless of other people's behaviors, Ash and Serena had a very good time.
Ash and Serena were now in their room at the Pokémon Center and Ash was sitting on the bed looking at his phone. He wanted to call home to tell his mom about his victory, but he also didn't want an awkward conversation, as he hadn't spoken to her since he arrived in Torrent. Serena got behind him and wrapped her arms around him as she rested her head on his shoulder.
"It's ok Ash, it's your mom. It can't be that bad," said Serena.
"Normally no, but after all these secrets have gotten out, I just don't know how to talk to her," Ash replied.
"I can't pretend to understand why your mom kept all of that from you, but from the little time that I've known her, I have to imagine she had a reason," said Serena.
"But what? What kind of reason could she have to keep almost her whole past a secret from me? And my what about my aura? Why wouldn't she have just told me about it?" Ash asked.
Serena sighed. "I don't know, but you do know who does have the answers. All you have to do is start asking. She never lied about any of this, she just never told you. Now that you know this much, maybe it will be easier and she'll open up," Serena replied.
Ash sighed.
"I know. Might as well get this over with," Ash stated.
Serena then kissed Ash's cheek.
"I'll give you a little bit of privacy," Serena said.
"You don't have to. You can stay out here, I don't mind," Ash replied.
"Thank you, but this seems like more of a family conversation, I don't want to get in the way. Besides, I wanted to clean myself up before I come to bed," Serena explained.
Ash accepted Serena's decision and gave her a kiss on the lips before she walked into the bathroom and closed the door.
Ash looked back at his phone and looked for his home phone number. He wished Pikachu was here at least, as he was family as far as anyone was concerned. But unfortunately for him, Pikachu had been staying extra close to Sylveon lately, so they were in the daycare watching over their eggs. Ash couldn't blame him though, he was going to be a father, and Ash knew if he was in that situation he probably wouldn't be much different. Ash pressed the video call button and waited as the phone rang. Very soon Delia appeared on the screen.
"Hello Ash, it's so good to hear from you," Delia greeted.
"Hi mom. Good to see you too," Ash replied, anticipating things to get awkward.
"So how's Torrent? Are you and Serena doing well?" Delia asked.
"Torrent's good, earned two gym badges so far, going for my third tomorrow morning. I've also caught a Riolu and a Growlithe. As for Serena and I, we're umm, doing good," Ash replied, sounding a bit awkward as the last thing he wanted right now, was for his mom to know he and Serena have had sex.
"Ash?" Delia asked, noticing the awkward tone.
"Oh and I just won a Tauros exclusive tournament," Ash said excitedly to distract his mom.
"Really! That's wonderful," Delia replied.
Ash then held up the trophy/sword to show her.
"Wait, the trophy is a sword?" Delia asked.
"Yeah, I was a little surprised by that too," Ash replied, sounding more casual.
"I was planning on shipping it back home. I feel like it would be kind of awkward walking around with a sword sticking out of my bag," Ash added.
Delia chuckled a little by the comment.
"You're probably right. Oh did you have to wear one of those outfits they Tauros battlers are supposed to wear?" Delia asked.
"Yes," Ash groaned, still hating that he had to wear it.
"Please tell me you or Serena took some pictures, I'd love to see that," Delia commented.
"Serena did. It's on her phone, but I think she posted it on either mine or her pokébook page. Actually she's been posting a lot of pictures from our journey on there," Ash replied.
"Well I'll create my own so I can see them all," Delia said.
Ash took a deep breath. He didn't want to take the conversation where it was about to go, but he needed to.
"So mom, I met an old friend of yours while I was here, William," Ash started.
Deli sighed.
"I know. He called me a day or two after you arrived to tell me he met you," Delia explained.
"Why didn't you ever tell me anything? Your past, my aura, dad?" Ash asked.
"Ash, losing your father nearly destroyed me. I started to go down a path, that I'm ashamed of, that's still very hard to think about," Deli replied.
"What saved you?" Ash asked.
"You," Delia replied.
"Me?" Ash asked confused.
"Shortly after my life started to spiral, I learned I was pregnant with you. Instantly I felt more than the pain of losing your father. I knew I needed to be better for you, you were going to need a mother, not what I was becoming. You stopped me before it was too late, before there was no turning back," Delia explained as tears started to escape her eyes.
Ash didn't know exactly what his mother meant, but he didn't feel he needed to push there anymore for now.
"What about my aura powers, William said you knew about them. And why not ever tell me anything about your past? I was told you used to be a really strong trainer," Ash asked.
"I've had time to think about your powers and reevaluate my decision regarding it. William filling me in on it made me think about that all over again. The truth is I was selfish. Aura Guardians have a tendency to look for trouble and deal with it. Think adrenaline junkies but more dangerous. I didn't want to risk losing you like that. Your father died because of those powers, as well as your great grandfather. You were all I had, and I didn't want to risk losing you too," Deli replied, tears were streaming down here cheeks.
Ash was fighting back tears too. He expected to be angry at her, but he wasn't, he felt sad for her.
"As for my past, I'm pretty sure you are more specifically referring to me being a trainer am I right?" Delia asked as she whipped tears from her eyes.
Ash nodded.
"I met your father early on in my time as a trainer. So a lot of my experience is linked to him. By the time I felt like I could handle it all, I then felt ashamed of myself for sending my Pokémon away like I did. You loved Pokémon so much, I was afraid that you would hate me if you knew," Delia explained.
"Back then when the world seem so simple I probably wouldn't have understood, but you're my mother, I could never hate you," Ash said as tears started to stream down his face.
"I'm so happy to hear that," Delia said as she also cried happy tears.
"But mom, to make up for all these things you've hidden from me, there is something I'd like you to do for me when I get back," Ash stated as he wiped the tears from his eyes.
"Anything you want, just name it," Delia replied as she also wiped tears from her eyes. Happy that Ash isn't mad at her.
"I want a Pokémon battle. Between you and me," Ash stated with a determined gaze.
"But Ash, Mimey doesn't battle," Delia replied.
"I know at least your Lucario would be happy to battle for you again," Ash replied.
"That's probably true, our bond was a lot like yours and Pikachu's. But that wouldn't be a very fair battle," Delia replied.
"Mom, I saw your Lucario. He's still strong and looks like he can put up a great fight. But if you're worried about you..." Ash stated before Delia interrupted.
"Oh I'm not worried about Lucario or myself, we'll be fine. I'm worried about being fair to you," Delia explained.
"Me? Why wouldn't it be fair to me?" Ash asked.
"Ash, your father was the Indigo League Champion. Considered the strongest trainer in the world, just like how Cynthia is now. But I could still beat him. And let's not mention all the legendary Pokémon Lucario and I went up against and won. And all this was about nineteen to twenty years ago, and Lucario has still been training. Ash, I think we'll be too much for you," Delia explained with a smirk.
Ash chuckled.
"Wait a second. Is my mother trash talking to me?" Ash said in an amused/shocked tone.
"I'm just saying it as it is Ash. Lucario could probably handle half a team of yours," Delia said with the same smirk confidently.
"Oh it's on now. My Pokémon and I are going to beat you guys now, and I'm only going to need one Pokémon to do it," Ash shot back as he laughed at his mother's behavior.
"Fine then, but don't say I didn't warn you," Delia replied.
Suddenly there was a beeping going off on Delia's side of the phone.
"Ooo, my muffins are done," Delia said in response to the noise.
"Ok, I'll just let you go then. It's getting pretty late over here, but I'll call you back again soon," Ash replied.
"Ok then Ash, I love you. I'll talk to you soon. Oh and good luck with your gym badge and say hi to Serena for me," Delia said.
"Thanks, and I will. Love you too, bye," Ash said.
The called ended and they both were much happier because of it.
————————————————————————
Back with Delia, as she was removing her muffins from the tin, one thought ran through her head.
"I hope he's just as understanding if all my other secrets get out."
