AUTHOR'S NOTES:
Hello readers, and welcome to the beginning of regular updates for Alpha and Omega. The plan for my updates is for new chapters to be released on Tuesdays and Fridays. I know what your saying, "YES TWICE A WEEK UPDATES! THANK ARCEUS!" I'm right I know. Anyway, this is due to things currently happening in my life that allow me more time to write. This isn't a permanent change, and will be ending spring next year. However, if I can't maintain this schedule for any reason, I will let you know. But I should be able to maintain once a week, so you should still get an update.

Your also saying "if updates are going to be on Tuesdays and Fridays, why are you posting today?" The answer to that is simple, today is October 27, 2018, the two year anniversary of the first airing of the XYZ episode where Serena kissed Ash on the escalator, this chapter is just part of how I decided to Celebrate the greatest moment in Amourshipping. You can thank gogolsarkar for filling me in on this, and after your done reading my work, why don't you head over to his his page and read his story "Tryst with Destiny."

Now for some information for you. If you recall, the Torrent region is a new region created by me. And just like with the show, every region is based off of an actual country. With that being said, the Torrent region will be based off of the country of...............................................

My hopes are that I can capture the country of Spain enough for it to really feel like the country. This will be an interesting endeavor for me as I have never visited this country. Now I have some ideas for some Spain themed chapters, but if you have some ideas, please share them with me.

Ash and Serena arrived at the top of the hill Professor Oaks lab sat on. As they walked Ash told Serena the story of how he ended up with thirty Tauros, which she found very funny.

"Wow, this place hasn't changed much," Serena commented as she saw the lab.

"I know what you mean, sometimes I feel like this place is frozen in time. Nothing here every seems to change. Except Professor Oak, he's seems to be the only thing that ages around here," Ash responded, causing Serena to giggle.

"Speaking of Professor Oak, where is he? I wonder if he even remembers me?" Serena asked.

"That is a very good question. But I think I have an idea for how to find him," Ash replied.

"How?" Asked Serena.

Ash smiled and looked at Pikachu, "Alright Pikachu, you know what to do."

Pikachu nodded an unleashed a powerful thunderbolt into the air.

"Now we wait," Ash said as he took a seat under a nearby tree.

Serena joined him, sitting very close right beside Ash. Ash extended his right arm and wrapped it around Serena and pulled her in even closer. Serena then laid her head on Ash's shoulder.

"So that thunderbolt was supposed to catch Professor Oak's attention to let him know your here?" Serena guessed.

"Nope. That's to let my Pokémon know I'm here. They will make so much of a ruckus that Professor Oak or Tracy will decide to investigate. Tracy by the way is a friend of mine who traveled with me through the Orange Islands. Then when we came back to Pallet he became Professor Oak's assistant," Ash explained.

The Tauros decided to lay down and wait by Ash and Serena, as the flyers decided to wait up in the tree. Pikachu decided to lay on Serena's lap, and she began to pet him. They didn't have to wait long as they heard several cry's and a roar only after a minute or two.

"Well here they come," Ash said.

He and Serena stood up and saw Bayleaf running right for him. Bayleef then tackled Ash to the ground and began to nuzzle him affectionately.

"Hahaha, Nice to see you too Bayleef. How about you let me get up," Ash chuckled.

As Ash got up he heard a load thud and the ground shook a bit. Ash looked up to see none other then Charizard. Then the ground really started shaking. Ash and Serena looked out to the tree line to see dozens of Pokémon running towards them, with a very a happy looking Snorlax taking up the rear.

"I see what you meant when you said they would cause a ruckus," Serena sweatdropped.

As the Pokémon all arrived Ash greeted them all. Serena watched with a smile as she saw how much they all missed and loved Ash.

"It's great to see you all again. Now before I introduce you all to the new Pokémon that will be joining you from Alola, I want to introduce you all to someone who is very special to me," Ash said, then reached over, took Serena's hand, and pulled her close to him.

"Everyone this is my girlfriend Serena. We traveled together through Kalos and she is very special to me," Ash yelled so they all could hear him.

The Pokémon cheered and then began to greet Serena with hugs and licks. Most didn't understand the concept of girlfriend, but either took is as a best friend that was a girl, or as Ash's mate, but were happy regardless. There weren't many that did understand, but seeing how happy Ash was to introduce her as his girlfriend, made them happy, and told them it was only a matter of time till she was his mate.

However one Pokémon wasn't happy, Bayleef. She was devistated, despite the whole Pokémon human issue, she held hope to one day be Ash's mate. Many saw this hurt look from Bayleef and wanted to stay away, as they feared they would get hurt if they tried to console her. Two Pokémon who were not scared, were Bulbasaur and Pikachu.

"Hey Bayleef, I know this hurts," said Bulbasaur in a sympathetic tone.

"Shut up," Bayleef spat.

"Hey, we tried to warn you to prevent this from happening to you. We told you, Ash might see us as family, but he will never cross the line and mate with a Pokémon," Pikachu said aggressively.

Bayleef didn't like Pikachu's words and fired a vine whip at him. Bulbasaur responded with his own vine whip to protect Pikachu. Bulbasaur swatted away Bayleef's vines and then held them with his own. Bayleef tried to pull away, but Bulbasaur held her tight.

"Let go," Bayleef grunted.

"No. I won't let you do something you'll regret later," Bulbasaur grunted back.

Bayleef fired two more vines at Bulbasaur and began to whip his head with them, but he endured and wouldn't release her. By this point they had drawn attention to themselves, and were seen by Ash.

"What's going on you two, cut it out," Ash yelled at them.

But Bayleef wouldn't stop, she continued to beat on Bulbasaur in blind anger. As Ash tried to get to them to break it up, Bulbasaur had enough.

'I can't keep taking these hits forever. I need to restrain her, and to do that I need more vines. I've been able to manage this long, but maybe now it's time to finally do it. Also, maybe Bayleef will finally notice me now,' Bulbasaur thought to himself.

In that moment Bulbasaur began glowing white as he grew larger. The leaves on his bulb opened and laid on his back to reveal a pink flower. When the light dissipated it was clear the Bulbasaur had evolved into Ivysaur.

Bayleef pulled her second set of vines back to whip Ivysaur again, as Ivysaur prepared to launch his second set. Right as Bayleef's vines started to come down, Ivysaur was about to launch his to block, but stopped as Ash jumped in between them.

Ash jumped between the two grass types with his arms up to block Bayleef's vines. The vines came down hard onto Ash's forearms. As they hit Ash Bayleef returned to her senses, her eyes wide in horror as she saw that she just hit Ash. She retracted all of her vines as tears welled up in her eyes from hurting Ash. Two bruise marks were seen on his forearms.

"Ash are you ok," Serena cried as she ran to him.

Bayleef just watched as she saw Serena examining his injuries, that she caused. Bayleef them quickly turned around and began running as she cried.

"Bayleef" Ash yelled.

He was about to run after her, but was stopped by Ivysaur putting a vine in front of Ash.

"Ivysaur?" Ash asked as he looked at him.

Ivysaur just shook his head and used the vine to point to himself, signaling that he would take care of it. He then ran off after Bayleef. As he ran after Bayleef, he passed by none other than Professor Oak and Tracy, who looked back at Ivysaur with slightly confused looks. They then looked back and saw Ash with the rest of his Pokémon.

"Hello Ash, I figured you were back. Nobody else has so many Pokémon that will get that excited," Professor Oak yelled back as he waved.

Professor Oak and Tracy then walked over and shook Ash's hand.

"Good to see you again Ash my boy," Professor Oak said as he shook Ash's hand.

"Welcome back Ash," said Tracy as he also shook Ash's hand.

"Thank you, it's good to be back," Ash replied.

"And who might you be my dear," Professor Oak said as he noticed Serena.

"My name is Serena, I'm Ash's girlfriend. It's nice so see you again Professor," Serena replied.

Professor Oak and Tracy had shocked looks on there faces as they heard Ash had a girlfriend.

"Well isn't that quite a development. Congratulations you two," Oak replied happily as he shook Serena's hand also.

"Thank you," both Ash and Serena replied.

"Now What is this you said, see me again? Have we met before?" Professor Oak asked as he looked at Serena.

"Yes, about ten years ago at your summer camp. I was one of the campers and got lost, but Ash found me in the woods with a scraped knee," Serena explained.

Professor Oak then put his hand on his chin as he entered a deep state of thought as he tried to remember Serena. Then his eyes got wide as he smiled and snapped his fingers.

"Yes I remember you now. Your mother was a visiting Ryhorn racer from another region," said Professor Oak.

"Yes that's right," Serena replied.

"Yes I remember it clearly now. You two were inseparable after that, I actually reworked the groups so you could stick together since you both would leave your groups to play together. I remember Ash was quite distraught for days after you had to leave. Nice to see you finally accomplished part of your goal Ash," said Professor Oak.

"What goal?" Serena asked.

Serena looked to both Ash and Professor Oak for an answer. Ash was waving his hands for Professor Oak to stop talking, but the Professor either didn't notice or care as he explained.

Flashback
Three days after Serena left

A much younger Professor Oak was walking through the forest looking for Ash. About thirty minutes ago Professor Oak got a call from Delia telling him that Ash was missing again. He then stopped his work and left the lab to get Ash. It wasn't much of a search since he knew exactly where Ash was. Since the summer camp ended and Serena left, Ash had been running off quite often, to the same spot, the spot where the two met. He walked through a bush, and there he saw Ash, sitting under a tree holding his legs as he sobbed.

Professor Oak walked over to Ash and sat down beside him. Professor Oak wasn't mad for having to stop his research to find Ash for the fourth time this week, that was for Delia to be mad. Professor Oak understood Ash didn't need to be scolded or disciplined, he needed help to move passed the pain, that's just what he was going to do.

The Oak's and Ketchum's had always been close, Professor Oak even saw Ash's father Red as a second child. So naturally when it was learned that Delia was pregnant with Red's child after his death, Professor Oak and Blue took it upon themselves to do the best they could to be father figures for Ash.

"It's ok Ash. I understand the pain of losing someone you care about," Professor Oak said.

"We barely got to spend any time together, but something felt special about her. I just felt happy being with her. I don't even know what region she's in," Ash sobbed.

"I know Ash. To find someone that makes you feel that way so young is rare," Professor Oak said, resulting in Ash balling his eyes out again.

"But of course maybe you'll find that feeling again. After all your dream is to become a Pokémon master, and to do that you'll have to travel the world. And of course you'll meet all sorts of people," said Professor Oak, trying to make Ash feel better.

Ash then stopped crying and his head shot up.

"Your right Professor. I will travel the world, and meet so many people," Ash said in realization.

"That's the spirt Ash," Professor Oak said, feeling happy that he helped.

"It doesn't matter if I know what region she's from or will be in, I'm going to travel to all the regions. So then one day I'll find her again!" Ash stated excitedly.

"Umm, yes, of course Ash, one day," Professor Oak hesitantly, but still happy that Ash as sounding better.

"And then after I find her, one day I'll marry her!" Ash said with enthusiasm.

Professor Oak finished the story of eight year old Ash, leaving Tracy trying desperately not to bust out laughing, while Ash was covering his now tomato red face with his hands due to the embarrassment. Serena saw Ash's condition and removed his hand from his face.

"Well I found it cute," Serena said.

She then leaned in an gave Ash a kiss on the lips. Professor Oak raises an eyebrow, while Tracy felt jealous, as he had been hitting on Misty and her sisters, and got nowhere.

"Well I'm going to go give Gary a hand feeding the rest of the Pokémon," Tracy said then walked off.

"So Ash, what Pokémon did you capture in Alola?" Asked Professor Oak.

"Ok then, everyone, let's meet the new additions," Ash said as he threw the pokeballs up into the air.

"Very nice. They look very strong and healthy. Now I remember your Lycanroc, nice to see your Rowlet and Litten evolved. Oh, this one is new. This is a Kommo-o, a pseudo legendary dragon and fighting type correct," Professor Oak verified as he examined the Pokémon.

"That's right Professor," Ash confirmed.

"So many Pokémon out there, it's getting hard for me to remember them all. Also since you are the first trainer I've had to bring back Alola native Pokémon, I'm a bit unfamiliar," explained Professor Oak.

Professor Oak then came to Greninja.

"A Greninja? Is this the same one you told me about from the Kalos region?" Asked Professor Oak.

"The one and only," Ash replied.

"Excellent, I'm looking forward to having to opportunity to study this, Bond Phenomenon I've heard about. There is next to no data on it so just about everything I learn will be new to the researching community," says Professor Oak.

Oak then looks over to Serena.

"So Serena, what Pokémon do you have?" Asked Professor Oak.

Serena then grabbed her pokeballs and released her Pokémon.

"A Sylveon. That is the rarest eeveelution known to exist. My dear Serena, would you please give me the opportunity to study it?" Professor Oak asked.

"I guess it's ok, as long as Sylveon is ok with it," Serena stated.

Sylveon looked nervous, but after Pikachu walked over and said he would stay with her the entire time, she nodded in agreement.

"Very good, thank you," said Professor Oak. "Now Ash, could you please give me a hand to set up really quick? I want to get started right away since I doubt you two won't be staying for very long," Professor Oak Asked.

"Sure no problem," Ash said,

Ash then gave Serena a quick kiss, and followed Professor Oak into his lab.

Ash's Alola Pokémon and some of the older Pokémon began to mingle. Serena's Pokémon joined in as they felt that they were probably going to be seeing a lot more of Ash's older Pokémon in the near future, and that they were probably going to be all living together eventually.

Sylveon was a little nervous around all the new Pokémon, but got through it with the help of Pikachu who helped by introducing her to some on the nicer Pokémon, like Totodile and Corphish. Technically they were all nice, but some were less intimidating than others.

Braixen stayed close to Greninja, especially after Infernape started hitting on her. This resulted in him giving Greninja a death glare, Greninja noticed this but remained cool about it. Greninja didn't want to start any trouble, but wasn't afraid to deal with it if it came. Braixen understood that Infernape was one one of Ash's strongest, but so was Greninja, and he had a type advantage, so she felt Greninja could handle him if he got out of hand.

As Serena was near the lab petting Quilava, Gary and Tracy were returning from feeding several of the Pokémon, while having a conversation about an upcoming task they knew Professor Oak was going to ask one of them to do.

"It's just a cake job. Hand deliver some research to another Professor in a new region. Then I get to test out some cool new Pokédex through the region for a year, and gramps is picking up the bill. This will be awesome," says Gary.

"Can't argue with that, but what makes you think your going? Your grandfather knows your just going to hit on girls half the time. Why would he bother sending you, when I will actually be searching for Pokémon," Tracy argued.

"Well he's sent me on plenty of other research projects, so why not this one. Besides he knows that the other half of my time will be spent working," Gary responds.

Just as Gary finishes his sentence he stops in his tracks upon laying eyes on Serena.

"Woah, total babe twelve o'clock," Gary says as he looks at Serena.

Then an idea pops into his head.

"Hey Tracy I've got an idea to decide who goes on the assignment," Gary starts.

"What kind of idea?" Tracy inquires.

"You see that babe up there petting those Pokémon? First one to get her number goes on the assignment, and the loser has to encourage the idea to my gramps," Gary suggests.

Tracy smirks, not because he thinks he can win, but because he can't wait to see Gary fall on his face when he learns who Serena is.

"Deal, I'll even let you go first," said Tracy.

"Why thank you," Gary replied.

He then patted the dust off his clothes, fixed his hair, popped some mints in his mouth, then started walking towards Serena.

"I'd be careful petting random Pokémon like that. You never know if they might snap at you," Gary said as he walked up to Serena.

Serena looked down at Torkoal, who had his head on Serena's lap as she scratched the back of his neck. He looked extremely happy, not even close to dangerous.

"Thanks for the tip, but I don't think any of these Pokémon are dangerous," Serena replied.

"Maybe so, but a lot of the Pokémon here belong to other trainers, and they might not like random strangers messing with there Pokémon," Gary said back.

"Thanks I'll keep that in mind," Serena replied, then went back to petting Torkoal.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to come off as rude. My names Gary, Gary Oak," Gary said as he held out his hand to Serena.

"I know who you are Gary," Serena replied as she shook his hand.

"Really. Have we met before?" Gary asked nervously.

"Yes, many years ago," Serena replied.

Gary sighed in relief, as being many years ago meant she wasn't an ex her forgot about, or could have gotten pregnant.

"Well in that case how about I take you out to dinner so we can get reacquainted," Gary flirted.

Serena sweatdropped.

"Um sorry, but I don't think my boyfriend would approve. Unless you wanted to have invite him too," Serena replied.

Gary looked around and didn't see anyone.

"So where is this boyfriend of yours, because I don't see anyone," Gary said, thinking Serena was just playing hard to get.

"He's inside with your grandfather helping him with something," Serena replied.

"Really," Gary said skeptically.

"Really," Serena said sternly.

"You know what, I don't think about you have a boyfriend. I think your just playing hard to get to make me work for your time," Gary replied confidently.

Serena sweatdropped from Gary's arrogance. Luckily for her, she saw Ash walking up, meaning this was going to end soon.

"Hey Garybear, what's up?" Ash said as he came up from behind Gary.

Gary spun around as he heard the familiar voice.

"Hey there Ashy-boy," Gary replied as he walked over and they gave each other a bro hug.

"Hey I'm kind of busy right now hitting on this babe. Tell me, you came from inside right? Was there anyone else in there with you and my gramps?" Asked Gary.

"No," Ash said with a deadpanned expression.

Gary smirked, "got her, she's claiming she's got a boyfriend inside with gramps. But now I know, she's just playing hard to get."

Ash sighed and shook his head.

"What?" Gary questioned as he saw Ash's expression.

"And people say I'm dense," Ash said

He then walked passed Gary and to Serena where he gave her a kiss on the lips. He then turned around to face Gary with his arm around Serena. Gary's jaw dropped to the floor.

"NO! NO! NO!" Gary cried out as he realized Ash was the boyfriend.

"Yes, yes, yes," Ash and Serena said alternating, causing them to laugh a little, then kiss again.

"This isn't fair! Ash always travels the regions with different hot chicks, but is completely oblivious to it. Then I find a babe hotter than all of them, and then I come to find you finally decided to notice chicks and started dating her!" Gary cried in defeat.

Tracy then walked up laughing hysterically.

"Nice work Gary. You hit on Ash's girlfriend. I guess Ash beat you again," Tracy laughed.

"You knew didn't you?" Gary asked Tracy.

"Yup. I just could resist seeing your reaction when you found out," Tracy said as he got his laugher under control.

"I hate you so much right now Tracy," Gary responded in a depressed tone.
