Author's Notes:
Come one and all to read my latest creation, but first, a few words from your author.

First, as I was looking through my photos on my phone, I found a picture of Lucario that I didn't put into the chapter where he evolved. With that said, I included that picture in this chapter. A special thanks to lucariomaster17 for sending me that picture.

Second, since adding Meloetta to Serena's team I've felt that Ash's Pokémon line up from this region is looking a little light. Maybe it's just me, I don't know. I already plan on giving both Ash and Serena three more Pokémon by the end of Ash's next gym battle. So please tell me what you all think.

After Serena transferred Meloetta to Adam, he gave her the pokeball back, and warned her to not talk about this to anyone, as they were both technically breaking the rules and could get in trouble. But he told her that if Meloetta agreed to be in one of her performances that he would transfer her back to ensure the arrangement wasn't noticed by anyone.

At the concert, Ash and Serena got to meet the whole band and take some pictures, as well as get all of their autographs. In the pit during the concert, Ash realized he had heard some of the songs before and enjoyed them, he had just not known who the artist was. Ash and Serena enjoyed the concert together, feeling that even some of the songs were being sung to them. As for Meloetta, she enjoyed the concert mid air about the crowd, and danced with the music.

After the concert, Meloetta joined the rest of the Pokémon in the daycare for the night, as she still wasn't ready to sleep in her pokeball yet. As for Ash and Serena, they took showers, and Serena came back to bed wearing the sexy lingerie she purchased in Viridian city. It actually stayed on longer than Serena expected before Ash completely removed it from her, with it lasting to their second time of the night.

The following morning was the first full day of their vacation, and their plan was to enjoy the beach. Adam has recommended a beach to them that wasn't very busy called Flecha del Rompido, so they decided to go there. Serena took the bathroom to get changed, as she wanted to surprise Ash with her bathing suit. Ash was wearing a black bathing suit with lightning bolts going down the sides.

"Serena, are you done yet?" Ash asked through the bathroom door.

"Just a second," Serena replied.

Ash was becoming a little impatient. They had all their things together except their Pokémon, which they were going to gather on their way out. The reason the beach they were going to wasn't busy was because there wasn't much around it such as restaurants. So Ash and Serena purchased a cooler and filled it with some food and drinks for both them and the Pokémon. They had also purchased two beach umbrellas and some large blankets for them and their Pokémon to sit on. All of this was sitting by the door as Serena was getting ready. Just then the bathroom door began to open.

"Finally, ready to...." Ash started before he stopped upon seeing Serena.

Serena was wearing a pink bikini top that really complemented her breasts, and had a bow between her breasts, and the bottom had frills around the top and a bow near the back. Ash was in a daze upon seeing Serena right now, as many thoughts ran through his head, which resulted in his nose starting to bleed.

Serena blushed as a small sweet smile formed on her face from Ash's reaction. Serena reached back into the bathroom and grabbed a tissue, then walked over to Ash and held it out to him.

"Hurry up and clean up that blood coming from your nose. We have got to get going," Serena teased.

Ash took the tissue and proceeded to clean up his nose bleed. Serena walked over to their things and bent over to pick up some of their things, pointing her butt right at Ash. Ash then went back into the bathroom to get more tissues, as his nose started to bleed again.

Upon Ash cleaning up his nose bleed, they both grabbed their things and picked up their Pokémon from the nursery. Much to both Ash and Serena's delight, Meloetta became a welcome addition to the group, especially to the Eevees and Swablu, who had fun playing with her.

Upon gathering the Pokémon Ash released Fearow, and they rode on him to the beach. Normally Ash wouldn't trust Fearow to carry him on his back, but he had noticed that Fearow had taken a liking to Serena. He felt it probably had something to do with her Pokepuffs, so as long Serena was with him he figured it was probably safe.

After about thirty minutes of flying they arrived at the beach.

Fearow lowered himself so Serena could climb off, then raised himself back up as Ash was halfway off. This resulted in Ash's leg getting caught on Fearow's neck and him falling over.

"Ash, are you ok? What happened?" Serena asked worriedly.

"I'm fine. I just caught my foot on Fearow and lost my balance," Ash replied as he stood back up.

As Ash was dusting the sand off of himself, his eyes shot over to Fearow who was looking very proud of himself. Ash just ignored it, knowing he would eventually win him over completely.

The beach was quite empty like Adam said, with the nearest people were about a hundred feet away. Ash and Serena worked together and set out the two large beach blankets and pitched the umbrellas. They then released their Pokémon from their balls.

"Ok everyone, today is just to relax and have some fun. We have plenty of snacks and drinks, so if you can't get it yourself, let us know and we'll help," Serena stated.

Braixen laid down on one of the blankets in the sun, as she liked the heat, but didn't want any sand in her fur. Greninja sat down beside her under the umbrella, deciding to swim a little later. Totodile immediately ran into the water and began swimming. As for the Eevees, their eyes were wide as they looked at the new area they were going to be able to play in, and took off running.

"Don't get too close to the water. You're not water types so you don't know how to swim yet," Sylveon yelled out.

The little Eevees ran to the water's edge and felt the water as it came up to their paws before it retreated back. They started running after the water, then running away as the water rushed back.

The other Pokémon proceeded to spread out and enjoy their time as they saw fit. As for Meloetta, she proceeded to fly off further away from the shore before diving into the ocean. She didn't care much for Serena, and only agreed to this arrangement because Adam suggested it, and because she liked the idea of seeing some live performances. If she were to be accidentally captured, she would have felt better about Ash catching her, as his Pokémon had already beaten her, proving he was a strong trainer.

As all of this was happening, a rather large Charizard was flying overhead, circling down for a landing. Lucario was off to the side meditating, as he worked to get used to using aura in his newly evolved form. Lucario sensed their auras, as Greninja felt their presence with his battle instincts as they made their approach.

"Ash." "Master." Greninja and Lucario Both said, getting Ash's attention.

Ash looked towards them both to see them pointing up at the Charizard. Greninja remained alert, while Ash and Lucario were more relaxed, as they felt the auras above them and knew they weren't any kind of threat. Ash continued to set out their things as the Charizard landed just a few feet away.

Once on the ground, two people climbed off its back. The first was a woman with long red hair wearing a black and purple bikini, and the other was a man with black hair wearing a dark blue bathing suit and a black tank top.

The red haired woman had noticed Ash and Serena as they came in, and turned around to wave, then realizing who they were.

"Serena?" The red head said surprised.

Serena turned to face the woman, to recognize her almost immediately.

"Aria!" Serena replied.

The two girls walked towards one another and gave each other a hug. Ash had turned around as well, and took notice of the man with Aria.

"Hey Alain," Ash called out as he walked over.

"Hello Ash," Alain replied.

The two met and shook hands. Then Alain shook Serena's hand as Aria gave Ash a hug as well.

"So what are you two doing here?" Serena asked.

"Well I decided I wanted a break from the performances and this was the closest city with a beach," Aria replied.

"Same with us. It had just worked out because Ash just had a gym battle in the city yesterday," Serena stated.

"Since we're all here at the same time anyway, do you mind if we join you?" Aria asked.

"I don't mind. Ash?" Serena replied.

"Fine with me," said Ash.

They then proceeded to help Alain and Aria set up their blankets and umbrellas beside them.

"Hey Ash, I think I'm going to stay out of the water and tan a little bit. Do you mind putting some sun screen on my back?" Serena asked.

"No problem," Ash replied.

"Alain, I'm going to stay here with Serena, could you rub some sun screen on my back too?" Aria asked.

"Sure," Alain replied.

The two girls laid down on their stomachs, and undid the backs of their bikinis, as they didn't want tan lines. Alain's nose began to bleed from Aria doing this. He then saw a pack of tissues land by him. He looked up and saw Ash already had a tissue at his nose. They both applied sunscreen to the girls and then walked to the water.

"Congratulations on getting your boyfriend," Aria commented once Ash was far enough away not to hear.

"How did you know?" Serena asked.

"First, Palermo told me. Second, you are listed as in a relationship with Ash Ketchum on your pokebook page," Aria replied.

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that. What about you? Are you and Alain dating? I didn't see you were in a relationship on your page," Serena asked.

"We are. One year next week," Aria replied happily. "We just don't advertise it so we can be left alone in public when we're alone. We usually go out wearing a disguise, like how you and I first met."

"Good idea," Serena commented.

"So Serena, did you use that gift I left you in Madrid?" Aria asked.

Serena's face went bright red.

"That was you? I thought Palermo got that?" Serena asked, sounding a little embarrassed.

"Well, it's kind of from both of us. She asked me to pick something out that would inspire romance between you two. She suggested chocolate covered strawberries, fine chocolate, wine. Her ideas were too boring for me, I figured those would be better. So, did you use them?" Aria replied, then asked again.

"Not yet, We're still using that box I brought," Serena replied shyly, not wanting to say the box was from Ash's mom.

"Still? You guys don't do it much do you?" Aria commented.

"We do it plenty. We just started only a few weeks ago," Serena replied defensively. "What about you and Alain? And why does Palermo care about my love life anyway?"

"We've had many Nurse Joys knock on our door and ask us to keep it down, if that answers your question. As for Palermo, she's all business and she's always thinking a few moves ahead. She's just planning ahead with the next Kalos Queen," Aria replied.

"Well I'm going to have to beat you first," Serena commented.

"Well the others girls don't stand a chance against you. I've seen your performances. You're on par with me now. So if you don't beat me at the next Master Class, you'll have the title the following one," Said Aria.

"What do you mean by that?" Serena asked.

"This will be my last year defending the title," Aria replied.

"What?!" Serena replied in shock as she leaned up and looked over at Aria.

"I'd lay back down if I were you. Your top is coming off," Aria teased.

Serena quickly laid back down.

"Why is this the last time?" Serena asked.

"Serena, I'm twenty-three years old and I've held this title for five years now. It's time for someone else to take the crown," Aria replied.

"Wow. Is there a time limit to having the title?" Serena asked.

"No, I'm just ready for another role in life. I want my own family now. I want to get married and have kids," Aria replied.

"Well, can't you have all of that and the title?" Serena asked.

"Technically I can, but the life of Kalos Queen is very busy. I mean traveling through Torrent with Alain has given us more quality time in a day than I used to get in a week back home. I have to thank you for the idea you gave Palermo about us traveling with other people. It's been great. It reminds me of back when I used to travel around Kalos earning princess keys," Aria stated.

"Well you're welcome I guess. I don't feel like I did much," Serena replied.

"Well I don't know about the others, but it means so much to me. It's helped me confirm that Alain is the one," Aria said happily.

"I'm happy to hear that. You do look really happy. Even happier than the last time I saw you," replied Serena.

"Same with you. It seems that you've become so much happier since you started dating Ash," Aria commented.

Serena sighed happily, as she looked out into the water to see what looked like Ash and Alain racing.

"I am. Being with Ash has been a dream come true," Serena replied.

"And that's what Palermo wants for you," Aria commented.

"Wait, what does my happiness have to do about Palermo? You said she's all business," Serena asked.

"Ok, but don't repeat this, or at least don't tell anyone you heard this from me. Yes, Palermo wants the Kalos Queen happy, because a happy queen puts on a better performance. But she specifically wants you happy for other reasons," Aria started to explain.

"What other reasons?" Asked Serena.

"She's wants you and Ash together so she can use you both," said Aria.

"Use us? How?" Asked Serena in a concerned tone.

"Has Ash told you about any other situations he's been in similar to the Lumiose Crisis?" Aria asked.

"Yes. He's told me of some, but not all. He's just been going through telling me about his journeys, and these just come up as he talks," Serena replied.

"Well, Palermo had Ash investigated, and she's seen how many times he's saved the world, as well as how he's brought down all these criminal organizations. It might be a secret to the world for now, but she's not going to let it stay that way. By the time you become Kalos Queen, she's going to leak that information to the whole world," Aria explained.

"What?! Ash doesn't want that! Why would she do something like that?" Serena asked angrily.

"Because you two are the ticket to making the showcases as big as the Pokémon League," Aria replied.

"What do you mean?" Serena asked.

"Think about it! Kalos Queen dating or even married to the man who saved the world over a dozen times. One time is a big deal, but this much is huge. This will draw so much attention to you and the showcases, the other regions will be begging Palermo to start showcases up there as well," Aria explained.

"So Palermo is encouraging my relationship with Ash just so she can use us?!" Serena asked in an angry tone.

"Think about it this way. This information was bound to get out eventually. I mean, as often as Ash has saved the world already, it's amazing that this hasn't already gotten out. At least this way you can be ready and won't get blindsided by it. And besides, it's not like Palermo set you two up. You started dating him all on your own," stated Aria.

"I guess you're right. Palermo didn't set any of this up. She's just taking advantage of the situation," Serena sighed.

"Exactly, just be happy it's not how it used to be," Aria replied.

"How did it used to be?" Serena asked.

"Well, one of the showcase executives told me about the old days, before even Palermo became Kalos Queen. Apparently back then there was this guy that held Palermo's position now. He was horrible, he would use the Kalos Queens to close business deals that were supposed to benefit the showcases, but it was pretty much to line his own pockets," Aria said.

"Use the Kalos Queens? He didn't...." Serena started before Aria finished.

"Yup, he used to make the Kalos Queens have sex with these business men. But things changed quickly when Palermo became queen, that guy didn't know who he was up against. He tried to tell Palermo how things "worked", but she refused to cooperate. He apparently gave her twenty-four hours to comply with him, instead Palermo went to her father. He was this big powerful lawyer, the kind rich guilty people would hire to get them out of trouble. When the twenty-four hours were up, Palermo returned with her father, and a stack of statements from prior Kalos Queens. He handed them to the board, and told them that the former queens were coming forward and he was representing them. They tried to make some kind of deal, but he told them that that telling them like he did was only a curtesy. I'm told the showcases took a serious hit after that, but the board managed to keep it going. Apparently it took them years to rebuild their image, and Palermo played such a big part that they offered her a job when her reign as queen was over," Aria explained.

"Wow. I'm so happy things are better. But I'm still not thrilled at what Palermo is doing with Ash and I," Serena stated.

"My point I'm trying to get at is, she's not going to do anything that could hurt you or Ash. At the end of the day, she had both of your best interests at heart," Aria said.

A bit further out, Ash and Alain are racing through the water to Metagross, who was acting as the finish line, while using psychic to levitate above the water. Ash and Alain were neck in neck, Ash pulling ahead just a little. They both then reached out and touched one of Metagross's legs.

"Who won?" Ash asked as he looked up to Metagross.

Metagross used both of his front legs and pointed to them both, showing it was a tie.

"Good race," said Alain.

"Thanks, you too," Ash replied. "How about after we catch our breath, we go another round for a tie breaker?"

"Sure! Sounds good," Alain replied as they both treaded water.

"So what have you been up to since the Kalos League?" Ash asked.

"Well, I helped Professor Sycamore with his mega evolution research for a while. The league actually asked me to challenge Diantha for the title, but I turned them down. A champion needs to be someone the people can look up to. With my history with Team Flare, that rules me out," Alain replied in a depressed tone.

"Come on, stop being so hard on yourself. They tricked you so they could use you. In the end, you turned on them and helped save Kalos. That's what matters. People would understand," Ash replied.

"I don't know. I've been searching for a new key stone for over a year, without luck. I've found another Charizardite X and a Metagrossite, but without a key stone they're useless. I feel that Arceus doesn't forgive me and doesn't want me to possess mega evolution," Alain replied sadly.

"Screw what he thinks. Arceus is spiteful and holds grudges. He doesn't know how to forgive. What matters is that the people who care about you forgive you, and you forgive yourself. And the fact that Aria is dating you obviously means she doesn't care about that part of your past," Ash replied.

"I know she doesn't care. She's been talking marriage and starting a family. I would love to have all that with her. But I don't think I deserve that kind of happiness. I don't forgive myself for what I've done," Alain replied.

"You need to stop beating yourself up so bad for that. The people forgive you, everyone forgives you. I bet Arceus isn't doing anything against you or even holds a grudge against you. Mega evolution is hard to come by. I've even been looking and can't seem to find any stones, and I doubt Arceus is holding a grudge against me. So don't use that as a test of your redemption or if you deserving to be happy. Aria clearly loves you, so you should just let life unfold how it unfolds. Don't over-analyze everything. You've earned redemption already by doing the right thing back then, and trying to atone for your wrongs," Ash stated.

"Thanks, but I still feel I need to do more to feel that I've earned my redemption," Alain replied.

Ash sighed.

"Fine, but don't let it keep you from being happy," Ash replied.

Meanwhile, away from the shore, Totodile and Greninja were being good uncles to the Eevees and were swimming through the water with them surfing on their heads. The Eevees were having a blast on their first visit to the beach.

Before they went out into the water, they had fun in the sand. Fearow had made the mistake of falling asleep, so with a little encouragement from Pikachu, who didn't like how he was treating Ash, they buried him in the sand. Only Fearow's head was exposed to show where he was, and so he could breath. Sylveon didn't approve of this, as she felt this was only going to start trouble. But Pikachu didn't really care, as long as the trouble was directed towards him, and not his children.

Sylveon and Pikachu were relaxing on the beach as they watched their Eevees play with their uncles. Pikachu didn't care much for the ocean, or swimming in general. So he was happy there were some water types that would take them out. Sylveon knew how to swim, but knew she wasn't a very strong swimmer. So she was happy just laying under an umbrella and watching.

"They really are having fun out there," Pikachu commented as he watched the Eevees riding a wave on the water types.

"Yes they are," Sylveon replied. "You know, if they really like it they might become water types one day."

"Maybe, but we should really discuss with them their evolution options. I overheard our son talking about growing up into a Pikachu one day," Pikachu commented.

This caused Sylveon to giggle.

"Well he might not be able to evolve into a Pikachu, but he could evolve into a Jolteon if he wanted," Sylveon replied.

"I think all we should do is tell them about the different options for them. I think I've learned how Ash's phone works. I might be able to find some videos of all the Eeveelutions," said Pikachu.

"That sounds good. I bet Ash and Serena would buy evolution stones if we asked them to," Sylveon replied.

Pikachu groaned.

"What?" Asked Sylveon.

"I hate evolution stones," Pikachu replied.

"Does it have something to do with you not wanting to evolve?" Sylveon deduced.

"Yeah, I just hate the idea of forced evolution, when there are other options. If a Pokémon can't evolve without one, then that's one thing, but Eevees have at least three options that don't require stones. And if a Pokémon needs a stone to evolve, then I guess it's ok as long as it's the Pokémon's choice," said Pikachu.

"That's true, and there might be even more," Sylveon replies.

"What do you mean?" Asked Pikachu.

"Well it wasn't always known an Eevee could evolve into a Sylveon," Sylveon said, then looked up into the sky as a Salamence flew above them. "Who knows what other Eeveelutions could exists out there."
