"WHAT IN MEW'S SAKE IS GOING ON?! WHY IS THERE AURA GUARDIAN SCUM HERE?!" The old man yelled.

"Grandfather, what are you doing here? You're supposed to be heading back to the Florid Region," Eligor asked in shock.

"I was, but then I realized I forgot my book and reading glasses in my old office. As soon as I teleported in, I could sense this bastard here, so I decided to investigate. When I realized it was a gym battle, I decided to just watch and see how it played out. I am so disappointed that you lost to this brat," The old man explained angrily as he walked towards them.

"It was a fair battle. He didn't use his aura, so I didn't use my psychic powers," Eligor stated in a defensive tone.

"Who gives a damn about fair?! He's an Aura Guardian. Even if he chose not to use it doesn't mean you can't. You should have crushed him. Now I have to do something," The old man said angrily.

He then looked to Eli as his eyes glowed red.

"You're a kind child. You have no place being involved in this. Go to sleep," The old man said.

Eli immediately fell asleep, and had a red outline and floated to the far corner of the room.

"Grandfather what do you..." Eligor started to say angrily, before his grandfather used his psychic powers to throw him through a window and out of the gym.

"As for you, you'll wish you lost that gym battle after I'm through with you," The old man said to Ash with a dark expression.

Ash's eyes glowed blue as he formed an aura sphere in each hand, as Pikachu stood beside him with his cheeks sparking.

"A shame your Pokémon will have to suffer because of his trainer, but I won't do it. Pokémon should battle Pokémon," The old man said, as six Pokéballs came out from his cloak and released the Pokémon inside. An Alakazam, a Bronzong, a Sigilyph, a Jynx, a Malamar, and a Medicham with a mega stone bracelet, stood ready to battle behind him.

"Ash!" Serena cried as she started to run to him.

"Young lady, I suggest you stay back if you know what's good for you. This doesn't involve you," The old man said calmly.

"Ash is my boyfriend, and I stand by him. This is already an unfair fight with all your Pokémon. I might not be able to fight you, but I can help with them," Serena replied in a determined tone.

The old man sighed, then he and his Pokémon's eyes glowed red. "Foolish girl."

"Greninja, Ignychus, I choose you!" Ash said releasing his Pokémon to help battle. "Greninja, LETZ GO!"

"Braixen, Meloetta, Sylveon, Amaura, Oricorio," Serena called out as she threw four Pokéballs into the air. Sylveon was already out of her Pokéball and was up in the seats. After telling her children to stay safe and out of the fight, she ran down to join the others in front of Serena.

"So, the famed Greninja from Kalos, and a Meloetta. You truly are an interesting bunch, however that won't be enough to stop me from completing the work started by my ancestors! Medicham, mega evolve!" The old man said as he revealed and touched his key stone bracelet, causing it to mega evolve.

"Medicham, attack Meloetta. The rest of you attack as you see fit," The old man said as his eyes glowed red.

Medicham moves to attack Meloetta, however he was stopped as Greninja attacked with night slash.

"Typical. He acts like an Aura Guardian, always wanting to be the strongest and prove their strength," the old man said with disgust.

He then thrust his right hand forward, sending Ash flying back.

"Ash!" Serena screamed in fear.

"Stay back, focus on the Pokémon battle. I don't want you getting hurt," Ash yelled back as he prepared to fight the old man.

Serena nodded and refocused on the Pokémon.

"Braixen, use flamethrower on Jynx. Amaura, Oricorio, attack Sigilyph together. Meloetta you...." Serena started before Meloetta interrupted.

"Focus on your other Pokémon. Don't forget I battled for several powerful trainers for generations, I have the experience and strength here to handle multiple opponents myself," Meloetta explained with telepathy. She then charged in and attacked Alakazam with acrobatics.

Pikachu charged in to attack Malamar, while Ignychus went after Bronzong. Seeing as Pikachu was still worn down from his previous battle, Sylveon jumped in to help him. Serena has to admit, she was impressed as she saw her Pokémon were battling well without her commands. She stayed with them nonetheless incase they needed her, and because the battle between Ash and Eligor's grandfather was out of her league, for now.

Eligor's Grandfather was quickly forced to stop trying to throw Ash around with psychic blasts, as he was moving too quick and was taking the offensive. Ash's fists and legs were covered in aura as he tried to land a hit with either a fist or foot, or and aura sphere, but the old man was levitating, making it easy for him to dodge. The old man did however use his powers to rip several seats from the stands and occasionally attack Ash with them.

Back with the Pokémon, Braixen was busy trying to hold back an ice beam from Jynx with flamethrower. Braixen knew she had the type advantage, but this was proving to be much more difficult than she expected, showing how well Jynx was trained.

"Face it! You don't stand a chance against me. I've been doing this since before your egg was even laid," Jynx said to Braixen, her voice full of confidence.

"Shut up you old hag! I'm going to beat you so bad you want to go back into retirement," Braixen shot back.

This comment angered Jynx, causing her to put even more power into her ice beam. Braixen could feel the additional power and tried to do the same, but didn't have enough strength to give. Slowly, the ice beam started to push back the flamethrower, until it was completely overpowered. The flame was extinguished as both Braixen's stick and paws were encased in ice.

"Like I said, you don't stand a chance against me. Now be a good child and go put yourself into time out. I've got bigger fish to fry, or should I say frogs to freeze," Jynx said as she turned away and started to head to Greninja.

Upon hearing that her mate was in danger, Braixen exploded with rage. It started with a flame exploding at the tip of her stick, freeing her from the ice. Jynx turned back in time to see a fully enraged Braixen, right before she started to glow white. Braixen first started to grow taller and more of her fur turned red. When the glow dissipated, it was revealed she was no longer an enraged Braixen, but was instead an enraged Delphox. Delphox then pointed her stick at Jynx and sent a massive flamethrower right for her. Jynx tried to counter with a powerful ice beam again, but it was quickly overpowered, and she was engulfed in flames. When the flames dissipated, Jynx looked up to see Delphox towering over her with her stick pointed at her face, with a flame already ignited on the tip.

"Now what was it you said? Something about freezing a frog?" Delphox asked angrily.

It didn't take reading minds to tell that Delphox was made furious by the comment. Jynx didn't respond as she looked up and realized she seriously screwed up.

"Never threaten my mate," Delphox said coldly, then fired another flamethrower, this time at point blank range right into Jynx's face.

Over with Ignychus, he had his claws full with Bronzong. He did have a typing advantage in attacks due to his fire typing, but his additional rock typing removed his defensive advantage to steel type moves. He had participated in several battles with other Pokémon, and had done rather well. But this Pokémon was in a league of his own. The two Eevee were still in the stands, and saw Ignychus struggling.

"Come on sis. We need to help him," the male Eevee urged.

"But mom said to stay here out of the fight," the female Eevee replied nervously.

"Yeah, but remember what Ash and dad would say. We're all family, and family looks out for one another. Right now our brother needs help, and no one else can do it," the male Eevee states.

"But I've been training to be a performer. I don't know how to battle," the female Eevee replied, fear evident in her voice.

"Then just distract our opponent while Ignychus and I attack. Just throw a couple of swift attacks every once in a while to keep him from ignoring you," the male Eevee replied confidently.

"Ok, lets go," said the female Eevee, still sounding scared.

"Great, follow my lead," the male Eevee replied.

The two Eevee ran to the far end of the stands, then started running back. Once they were as close as they were going to get, they jumped towards Bronzong. While still mid air, they both swished their tails sending over a dozen gold stars at Bronzong.

Meanwhile, Bronzong was charging at Ignychus to use iron head, but was suddenly forced to abort the attack as it was hit by multiple golden stars. When it looked back up at Ignychus, it saw two Eevee land right beside him.

Sylveon and Pikachu were doing a number on Malamar, however he was still enduring. Sylveon just landed after attacking with fairy wind mid air, when she saw both of her children battling beside Ignychus.

"No!" Sylveon cried fearfully.

Sylveon tried to run to her children, but was stopped by a psybeam from Malamar hitting her side.

"Sylveon, pay attention," Pikachu called out as he hit Malamar with a thunder shock.

"But our children are battling!" Sylveon replied in a panic.

"Yes, and they seem to be doing fine as a team with Ignychus," Pikachu replied after glancing over, then returning to the battle.

"But I told them to stay out. They could get hurt," Sylveon replied as she was forced to focus back on Malamar as he launched another attack towards her.

"That's the nature of a battle," Pikachu replied before taking a night slash. "But our son has been training, and our daughter seems to be sticking to her strengths and doing fine." Pikachu then charged and hit Malamar with a quick attack. "But if you want to help them, we need to beat this Malamar first," Pikachu stated as he dodged another attack.

Sylveon looked back at her children to see Pikachu was right, and that for now they were holding their own. She then refocused on her battle, as she knew she and Pikachu would have to beat Malamar before they could take their children out of the battle.

Back with Ash, the battle wasn't fairing too well. He had gotten a few good hits in against the old man, however he was realizing that Eligor might have been right, as he could feel his strength was quickly leaving him. As a result of this, Ash was taking many injuries. Aside from a few bruises, he had a gash on his forehead above his right eyes, a bloody nose, and several cracked or broken ribs.

The biggest issue Ash was having to deal with was that the old man kept using his powers to rip out seats and throw them at him. Ash might not have known much about fighting, but he knew plenty about Pokémon battles. By this point, Ash could tell that the old man could have been a lot tougher, but wasn't. Just like how a strong opponent in a Pokémon battle might take their time just to show their Pokémon's strength, the old man is just toying with him to show he was stronger.

However just like with any game that lasts too long, eventually the old man became bored. Ash tried to charge in to attack, but stopped as he felt a tight hold on his throat preventing him from breathing.

"Unfortunately for you, I've grown tired of our battle. Sadly I'm not as young as I used to be. In my youth I could have been entertained battling an Aura Guardian for quite some time. Although maybe it's your lack of skill, either way it's time to end this," The old man said as he held his hand out as if he was holding Ash by the throat.

He then raised his arm up, moving Ash with it, leaving his legs flailing underneath him. Ash couldn't breath or speak. He grabbed at his throat as if trying to remove what was holding him, but to no avail. The old man had a bored look on his face as Ash's vision became blurry. Suddenly, he felt the hold on his neck released as he dropped to the ground, allowing him to finally gasp for air. He looked towards his attempted killer to see a pained looked on his face as he grabbed the back of his head, and behind him was Serena holding her metal water bottle. Ash tried to yell at her to run, but the words couldn't come out. He then saw Serena drop the bottle as her arms were out stretched and she began to lift off the ground.

"I guess I deserved that for being careless," the old man said as he moved the hand from the back of his head to see a little blood in it. "I completely forgot about you young lady. Know this, I hold no animosity or anger towards you for this. You are young and in love. I cannot fault you for this, but you fell in love with a monster. His kind is the bane of humanity, and will one day cause our destruction if allowed to live."

Serena then spit in his face.

"The only monster I see is you. Only a monster would kill someone just because they are different," Serena spat with venom in her words.

"Maybe I am a monster, but I am a necessary one," The old man replied with pride.

He then thrust his arm forward, sending Serena flying back and tumbling as she hit the ground. Upon seeing this, Ash got his second wind. He lunged at the old man and punched him in the face, sending him stumbling back. Ash then formed an aura sphere and threw it. The old man dodged, but as it started to pass Ash's eyes glowed as he closed his fist, and the sphere exploded, knocking the old man off his feet. Ash charged at the old man with another aura sphere ready, but once again he was forced to stop as he felt a hold on his throat again as he was raised off his feet.

"Nice to see you still have some fight left in you. Makes me feel better about killing you," The old man said as he stood up.

Ash tried to throw the aura sphere, but the old man saw it. With a snap of his fingers, Ash's forearm bent backwards as his arm broke. Ash tried to cry out in pain, but it was no use. Ash's eyes started to roll into the back of his head as he lost consciousness. The last thing he noticed was something rising up into the air behind his killer, something powerful.

The old man felt this power and turned around to see Serena levitating a foot off the ground, her eyes were bright red, with her hair looking like it was floating.

"GET AWAY FROM ASH!" Serena screamed as her arms thrust forward.

As she did this, the old man dropped Ash as he tried to defend himself from the psychic blast that came a second later. The blast was so powerful the windows imploded, sending shards of glass towards him. The Pokémon that were still conscious ducked to avoid the glass, while the old man tried to hold his ground. He soon learned Serena's power was too great, as he was thrown back against the back wall. He looked and saw the glass coming at him, and used his powers to rip one of the doors off the hinges and move it in front of him to act as a shield. Soon the attack stopped and he moved the door to see Serena charging at him through the air. However this quickly stopped as she also lost consciousness and crashed into the ground by Ash.

The old man limped towards Serena and looked down at her with a surprised expression, then smirked. "I never would have expected to see you again after all these years. You are definitely the daughter of Jonathan Yvonne. A shame that I need to make you cry," The old man then looked at Ash. "But the abomination you two could create can't be allowed to exist."

He raised his hand and pointed it towards Ash as his eyes glowed red. But before he could do anything, a powerful psychic force sent him flying away. When he looked back he saw Eligor levitating in through a window, his eyes also glowing red.

"You've crossed a line Grandfather, and there's no turning back now," Eligor shouted as he thrust both of his arms forward.

The blast of psychic power sent his grandfather flying into a wall and held him there. Eligor then used his psychic power to grab his remaining three Pokéball from his belt and open them. A Slowking, male Meowstic, and Delphox emerged awaiting instructions.

"I want you three to work together and take my grandfather to my office. I want his powers restrained for the time being," Eligor instructed.

The three Pokémon nodded and went to his grandfather, then took over holding him and carried him away with psychic. Eligor looked to the Pokémon to see all of his grandfather's Pokémon unconscious or barely standing. What really surprised him was seeing his grandfather's Medicham lying on the ground knocked out. He wasn't sure which one of Ash and Serena's Pokémon did it, but he was happy he didn't have to face it. Just then doors on the opposite end burst open, and many of his students rushed in.

"Attention right here," Eligor yelled getting everyone's attention. "I need some of you to take these Pokémon to the campus Pokémon Center to be healed immediately. I also need several more to take Eli and these two to the campus infirmary for immediate medical care."

Quickly a student used their psychic powers to levitate Eli up and took him out of the room. Several more escorted those Pokémon that could walk, and used their powers to pick up those that couldn't. Another two came and levitated Ash and Serena and carried them off. Several members of the staff walked up to Eligor with questioning looks on their faces.

"What in the distortion world happened here?" One of them asked.

"My grandfather and his Tauros shit again. This time he bit off more than he could chew," Eligor replied.

"So what do we do? He's too strong for us to strip him of his powers," another asked.

"I need time to think. For now, I want a staff member guarding each of the trainers. I don't trust the bad elements still in this school to leave them alone. Choose people you trust to follow my instructions without question. The gym is also now closed until it's fixed," Eligor instructed.

The staff nodded and left to execute Eligor's instructions. Eligor put his hand on his temple and sighed.

"That girl is way too powerful to let her leave as she is, but I know she will never choose to stay. What in the fuck am I supposed to do with her?"
