"GIOVANNI!" Delia screamed at the top of her lungs. Despite not being able to see her, Giovanni could hear her scream loud and clear as it sent chills down his spine. A member of Giovanni's security was frantically pressing the button for the elevator as the other three took position to open fire as soon as they saw Delia or William.

Screams could be heard from the grunts as Delia and William fought through them. Giovanni and his security had no indication as to how the battle was going, but they didn't have any high hopes for the grunts or their Pokemon. As they nervously waited for the elevator, occasionally a Pokémon would be seen flying across the hall, or a grunt's head would be seen rolling on the floor.

The screams stopped just as the elevator doors opened. The guards pushed Giovanni in as one pressed the close door button and the one for the main floor, then joined the others as he radioed in that Giovanni was in the elevator. Delia, William, and their Pokémon came into view, the image of Delia was at that moment burned into Giovanni's memories, as she was covered in blood, and he knew none of it was hers. The guards opened fire just as the doors closed. Giovanni could still hear the gunfire as the elevator continued, until it finally stopped, telling him that his men were already dead. As the elevator doors opened, Giovanni exited to see dozens of armed grunts along the walls, with makeshift barriers set up for cover.

"Giovanni sir, this way," an officer said as he ran up to him. "I'll escort you to your office. From there you can access the gym and escape. Your helicopter has already been called in with an eta of ten minutes, and will meet you on the roof."

"Now the only question is can you and your men last long enough," Giovanni replied as he walked.

"Ha, the helicopter is only to follow procedures. The intruders won't even get halfway through my men," the officer replied as they arrived at Giovanni's office.

Giovanni opened the door and stopped. "The intruders are two Aura Guardians, and one of them is my sister Delia. I'll be lucky if you last five minutes against her." Giovanni then walked into his office and closed the door, leaving the officer shaking and with a look of fear plastered on his face, just as the gunfire started again.

————————————————————————

As the elevator stopped, the grunts opened fire before the doors could even open. The gunfire stopped as the guns ran out of ammunition and needed to be reloaded, but they weren't worried as there was no way anyone could have lived through that. The elevator doors opened to show it was empty, except for one decapitated grunt. The Team Rocket members were scared now, and frantically tried to reload their weapons. Just then the elevator exploded in a blast of turquoise dragon energy. A second later, Dragonite flew out of the opening carrying Delia, William, and Lucario, who all jumped down and rushed the Team Rocket members. Lucario resorted to Metal Claw to rip then to pieces, while Delia was forced to abandon using her aura whips due to the narrowness of the hallway, and instead turned her hands into blades of aura to cut them up. Both were becoming soaked in the blood of their kills. On the other hand William and Dragonite barely had any blood on them. William was using his aura scythe, which he made the blade hot enough to cauterize the cuts enough to prevent the blood from spraying, while Dragonite just relied on simple blunt force from her tail and fists.

Delia had just finished off another two grunts when she saw a large fist complete with spiked brass knuckles coming right for her. She jumped back at the last second to dodge, and saw the fist belonged to a large man, about two feet taller than her, only wearing a pair of black pants and boots with no shirt, and looked like a bodybuilder.

"You're attempt to kill the boss stops here," he said with a deep voice. Delia maintained an emotionless expression, and charged at him. The man threw another punch, Delia moved slightly to the side at the last second and grabbed his arm. She then adjusted her footing and she turned around as her whole body glowed blue. Then with a mighty aura infused throw he was lifted off the ground, went over Delia's shoulder, and slammed into the ground. Delia jumped up and landed on his chest, and with a cold emotionless expression Delia thrust both of her aura covered hands into his neck, severing his carotid artery. Blood sprayed onto Delia but she did not even react. She just climbed off of him as he died, and moved to the next grunt getting in her way.

It didn't take Delia long to get to Giovanni's office, leaving a heavy body count, while leaving William and the Pokémon to clean up the remaining as she pushed the doors open to go get her revenge. The office was well lit and the doors closed behind Delia, but she didn't care. Giovanni was standing right there in front of her. His suit jacket and tie were removed and neatly draped on a chair, while his hands were behind his back, with his sleeves rolled up.

"Hello Delia. I see you didn't waste any time getting to me. I hope some of them are still alive. Recruiting is a bit down right now," Giovanni said calmly.

Delia didn't respond, her face immediately changed to rage as she created an aura whip in her right hand and swung it at the man she once was proud to call her brother. Giovanni smirked as he pulled out an electric baton from behind his back. The whip hit the baton, but much to Delia's surprise it didn't cut through it. Instead it sparked as the whip wrapped around it like a normal whip would.

"Surprised?" Giovanni commented as he saw her face. "I had preached to mother and father for years that we needed a way for normal humans to counter aura guardians, but they didn't listen until last year when one wiped out my whole team except for Ariana and myself. After that mother worked with our engineers to develop this. And in just a few years everyone in the field will be carrying them. So now you can't rely on your powers anymore."

Delia then created a second whip and swung it at Giovanni, who just pulled out another baton to block it. "Seriously dear sister? Just stop this nonsense now and talk to me. I know we can work all this out in a civilized manner," Giovanni said to her.

Delia then jerked both whips back, causing Giovanni to be thrown off balance as she charged towards him. The aura whips dissipated as Delia jumped into the air and kicked Giovanni in the chest with both feet. Delia and Giovanni both hit the ground, but Delia was up first, and ran to Giovanni, jumping onto his chest as she used her feet to keep his arms down while both of her hands held aura blades to his throat.

"After everything, it comes down to this. All because you couldn't accept that Mother and Father chose Red over you to run Team Rocket," Delia said as she prepared to end him.

"Please. They were never going to pass leadership down to me. They wanted you in charge. You were always their perfect child. It didn't matter how much better I did than you. I could never out shine you with your aura. The only reason they offered the position to Red was to ensure you stayed involved," Giovanni spat.

"Well, the jokes on you. Red was going to decline. He wanted to focus on being the Indigo League Champion, a husband, and one day a father. You were going to get Team Rocket anyways, but instead you killed everyone I love. You took my future from me, so now I'm taking yours," Delia said as tears streamed down her face.

She was about to go for the kill and end Giovanni once and for all, but then her eyes widened and she jumped off of Giovanni as he created an aura barrier and whip. "Who's there, show yourself!" Delia demanded as her eyes scanned the room. She couldn't explain it, but she sensed a presence in the room with her and Giovanni. The part she couldn't explain was that she couldn't pinpoint its position. Delia was becoming worried and swung her whip, slashing a bookshelf in half. "Where are they Giovanni? I know there's someone here, even if you don't tell me where they'd come from!" Delia demanded from him as she was starting to look and sound paranoid.

Giovanni had no idea what was going on, but he knew how to spot an opportunity when he saw one. "And why should I tell you? There are several secret passages in and out of here, and clearly they are here to rescue me."

Delia grabbed Giovanni by his shirt and pulled him to his feet. "Tell me!" She yelled in his face. Giovanni just looked to a corner of the room. Delia saw this and began attacking everything in that direction, filing cabinets, book shelves, a suit of armor, even the walls and floor. Giovanni then took this opportunity to make his escape through a secret passage on the opposite side of the room.

A few seconds later William burst into the office to see Delia repeatedly slashing her whips at a wall. "Delia? Where is Giovanni?" William asked.

Delia stopped and looked around, "NOOOOO!" She screamed as she realized he escaped. "He was just here, but then I felt another presence in the room. I-I-I had to find and kill it before it got me before I could kill Giovanni."

"And did you find it?" William asked as he looked concerned for Delia's mental health.

"No, and it's still here, I just can't find it," she replied looking insane.

William's eyes then glowed blue as he looked for the unknown life, and his eyes widened as he found it. "Does it feel like it's right on top of you?" William asked as he started to walk closer to Delia.

"Yes, but that doesn't make any sense!" She replied frantically.

"Actually it does if you stop and think for a bit," William replied as his eyes glowed blue while he put his hand on Delia's stomach, and linked her aura to his so she could sense it clearly.

"I'm pregnant," Delia replied in shock.

"Looks like a piece of Red survived in you," William commented with a smile.

"I'm pregnant," Delia said again as a smile formed on her face, the first smile she's had since Red's death. Tears of joy started to stream from her face, and she used her hands to wipe them from her face. As she did that she saw the blood on her for the first time. "What?!" Quickly she looked around and found a mirror, and saw the blood all over herself. "Oh Arceus no!" She panicked as she began searching frantically to find something to wash the blood off.

"Delia relax, it's not your blood," William said to try and calm her.

"I know that!" She snapped back. "This blood belongs to everyone I've killed today. What kind of monster walks around covered in blood? How can I bring this baby into this world and be his mother if I'm like this!?"

"Delia you're not a monster, and you'll be a great mother. Now washing that off can wait, Team Rocket reinforcements are already arriving. Lucario and Dragonite can only hold them back for so long, so we need to get out of here now," William urged.

However Delia didn't reply as she frantically tried to find water, while having a small mental breakdown. William could tell there was no way he could talk any sense into her, so he put both hands on either side of her head and used his aura to overload her sense, causing her to pass out. He caught her as she fell, then used his aura to ensure the baby was still ok, then carried her out of the office, so they could all escape.

Seven months later

A very pregnant Delia had her eyes closed and was being guided down the hall of her new home by a man with mostly gray hair and a pair of Z shaped marks under his eyes. They turned a corner to walk into the nursery for her baby.

"Ok Delia, open your eyes," the man instructed with a hint of pride.

Delia opened her eyes and gasped as she took in the view. The walls of the room were painted almost like a map of Kanto, showing a stampede of Tauros in the Safari Zone, a Lapras around the Seafoam Islands as well as a Gyarados, Clefairy and Clefable around Mt Moon, the three legendary birds of Kanto in the locations they were said to be found, and to top it off, Mew flying on the ceiling.

"Arthur, this is beautiful!" Delia exclaimed happily.

"Thank you, I had a lot of fun painting it. Now this way my grandson can start planning his first Pokémon journey right away," the man identified as Arthur replied.

Delia sighed, "That sounds like something Red would have said." Tears started to well up in Delia's eyes.

Arthur put a hand on her shoulder as he gave a sympathetic look. "I know it hurts, but you're not alone. My wife and I will be here for you. So if you need anything, we'll make it happen."

"Thank you, but I couldn't. You've already done so much for me already," Delia replied as she wiped the tears from her eyes.

"All we did so far was what Red would have wanted. All his money and the Ketchum name would have been yours anyways, all he needed was time and I know he would have proposed to you," Arthur replied.

"Thank you. We really appreciate everything," Delia replied as she touched her pregnant stomach.

"And speaking of we, have you come up with a name yet?" Arthur asked with a hopeing expression.

"Ash."

————————————————————————
Present day

Delia was in the kitchen of her home pouring a glass of wine while Mimey was making a bowl of popcorn. Since the house work was done, it was now time for them to sit back and relax as they watched a reality TV show. Mimey sat down with the popcorn and a glass of water, since Pokemon shouldn't drink alcohol, and picked up the TV remote and put on the singing show, Kantonian Idol. Delia was about to sit down to join him when there was a knock on the door.

"Who in the world could that be at this hour?" Delia wondered out loud. She then placed her wine glass down on the coffee table and went to the door. Delia gasped as she opened it to see who was on the other side. "Giovanni."

"Hello Delia, may I come in?" Giovanni asked calmly with a smirk on his face.

Delia quickly recovered from the shock of seeing her brother at the door and tried to slam it in his face. However, he quickly stopped it with his foot.

"Come now dear sister, I just want to talk," Giovanni said in a tone that was calm, while at the same time sounding sinister.

"Remove your foot Giovanni before I remove it from you," Delia threatened with venom in her words.

"Is that kind of talk really necessary? What would mother say if she heard you talking to me like that?" Giovanni replied with a smirk.

"Go for the head," Delia replied quickly as her eyes glowed blue.

"Hahaha," Giovanni chuckled. "Yes you are probably right. But if you do that, what do you think will happen to Ash?"

Delia's eyes widened as they returned to normal. "You wouldn't dare," Delia said with fear in her voice.

"All I want is to talk. I'm sure you already know I came alone, not even a Pokémon with me. So why don't we sit down and have a civilized discussion?" Giovanni said, knowing Delia was going to comply.

Delia opened the door and glared at Giovanni as he walked in and to the living room. "My you have such a nice little house. You've become quite the home maker," Giovanni commented as he sat down on the couch. "Although if you had sided with me, you would have raised Ash in a mansion full of servants."

Giovanni then reached for Delia's glass of wine on the coffee table, but Delia snatched it away quickly. "If you want something to drink, you can have water," Delia said after she took the glass.

"No thank you. You would probably get the water from the toilet," Giovanni replied.

"Just get to the point, why are you here now after all these years?" Delia demanded.

"Very well. I need you to bring your son in before he gets hurt. I have an operation getting ready to move into its final stages, and with Ash's knack for being a hero I have no doubt he'll try and stop me," Giovanni explained.

"Well, sounds like he's taken on the family business of taking down threats like you. I'd wish you luck, but that would be going against my son, so I'll be sure to be watching the news for when you're arrested," Delia replied with a smirk.

"Not this time Delia. I'm much more prepared for him than any of those other groups were. If he goes up against me, he will die," Giovanni explained.

Delia then broke the wine glass in her hand as she balled her fists and her whole body glowed blue. "Don't you dare. If you hurt my son, I'll rip you apart limb by limb." Delia threatened.

"It's not wise to threaten me. Besides, it's not like I want to hurt him. You and Ash are family, that's why I haven't come after you throughout all these years. However, just like with Mother and Father I will not let anyone stand in my way," Giovanni said as he looked at her with his eyes without moving his head.

Delia quickly charged up a baseball sized aura sphere, her heart full of rage from Giovanni's past acts and for threatening the safety of her son, and threw it at him as hard as she could. Giovanni didn't flinch as a figure teleported between him and the aura sphere at the last second, taking the hit. Delia realized what had just happened, and quickly took a fighting stance as she prepared to face who ever came to Giovanni's aid.

As the smoke cleared a black bipedal Pokémon was seen standing in front of Giovanni. "Say hello to Team Rocket's greatest creation, Shadow. I warn you! Your son barely survived his last encounter with Shadow, and he had a legendary come and rescue him. So I would be very..." Giovanni started, before Shadow lunged forward to attack Delia.

Delia quickly coated her fists and feet in aura and through a punch at Shadow. Shadow caught her fist at her wrist and held it, Delia then through her other fist with the same result. Delia smirked and jumped up and began to repeatedly kick Shadow in the face while using his hold on her wrists to keep herself up. Shadow attempted to release Delia so he could back away, but Delia wasn't done and grabbed its hands and continued her kicks. Angrily Shadow swung itself and slammed Delia into her TV that was mounted on her wall, causing Delia to release as she fell to the ground. Shadow charged up a shadow ball to strike Delia, but she quickly shot up and met the shadow ball with an aura sphere. The two attacks collided before leaving their hands and a large explosion resulted, blowing out the windows in the living room, and even Giovanni was sent flying over the couch he was sitting in. Smoke filled the first floor of the house, and Shadow returned to Giovanni's side to protect him as it couldn't find Delia.

"Tell me Delia, do you even have a plan? Because you seem to be just making it up as you go," Giovanni taunted. "I mean you've just been focusing on Shadow, but you've left me alone completely. Don't you want me dead?"

"Oh I do have a plan. It may have changed through the years, but I always had a plan for this day," Delia replied as she showed herself. "MIMEY NOW!" Delia yelled.

"Mr Mime!" Mimey said announcing his presence. Suddenly five near transparent squares appeared around Giovanni and Shadow, then moved in and sealed them in as they formed into a box.

Giovanni tapped the barrier with his knuckles, then with the toe of his shoe. "Impressive. That's some Mr. Mime you have there. To create these barriers away from us and then move them in together to form a trap, you even managed to get one underneath us," Giovanni commented with an impressed tone.

"I wouldn't talk if I were you, that box is air tight. Soon you'll pass out from oxygen deprivation, then die," Delia replied proudly. Shadow then started to disappear, then reappeared still in the box. "That won't work either. Mimey trained hard to create those barriers so that you can't even teleport out."

"Very impressive, you really did think this through," Giovanni replied.

"What did I tell you? Save your oxygen, your never getting out of there," Delia reminded him.

"Maybe, but never is a very long time. Shadow," Giovanni replied as he got closer to shadow.

Shadow then created a white force field around them, and expanded it. The field hit the sides of the box they were enclosed in, causing the sides to begin to crack.

Realizing the barrier wasn't going to hold much longer, Mimey teleported in front of Delia and used Barrier to try and protect her from the blast. Shadow destroyed the barrier containing them, and charged at Mimey and Delia, effortlessly braking through the barrier and grabbed Mimey by the throat.

"Mimey!" Delia cried out as she lunged forward to attack Shadow. Her fists were glowing blue as she swung a punch at Shadow. Shadow however swung Mimey's body and used it to knock Delia's fist to the side. By levitating, Shadow quickly moved behind Delia, grabbed the back of her head, and slammed her face first into the floor. Delia created an aura blade and swung it behind her head to force Shadow to release her, to which it did, allowing her to get back up on her feet and continue attacking. She charged in with her blade to attack again, but Shadow held Mimey out in front to act as a shield, causing Delia to call off her attack. Delia tried to attack again and again, but with the same result. Eventually however, Mimey was able to seize an opportunity and hit Shadow in the chest with a shadow ball at point blank range. Delia was able to capitalize on this by jumping up and giving Shadow an aura infused kick to the head, causing it to release Mimey.

"Are you ok Mimey?" Delia asked in concern.
"Mr Mime," Mimey stained with a thumbs up, showing he was ok, but was clearly hurt.

Shadow then appeared behind Delia and hit her into Mimey with its tail, sending them both flying through a window in the kitchen. "Ugh," Delia groaned as she laid in the grass, hurting from flying through a window and the crash onto the ground. She turned her head and saw Mimey laying there on the ground unconscious. She attempted to crawl over to him, but was kicked in the ribs by Shadow and rolled onto her back. She tried to get up but was forced back down hard by Shadow stepping on her chest.

"You are his mother, the one who caused me to fail my master for the first time ever," Shadow said darkly. "I may not be able to harm him, but you will bare the pain he is owed." Then with just the movement of one of his toes he pushed down on her ribs.

'Snap'

"Ahhhh!" Delia screamed as he broke two of her ribs. She quickly formed an aura blade to sever Shadows leg. She tried to swing the blade, but Shadow's tail wrapped around her arm stopping it.

'Snap'

"Ahhhhh!" Delia screamed again as both bones in her forearm were broken.

"That's enough Shadow, you've had your fun. Don't forget she is still my sister," Giovanni said as he walked up as he pulled out an auto injector.

"She is not loyal and is a threat. She should be eliminated now," Shadow replied as Giovanni slammed the injector into Delia's neck.

"You were created in a lab, so I do not expect you to understand the bonds of family," Giovanni stated as Delia fell unconscious from the injection. "Bring her back to base and deliver her to the doctors for treatment."
Shadow nodded and teleported away.

Giovanni then walked over to Mimey and looked down upon him. "You were rather impressive, if Delia doesn't survive this I believe I will take you as one of my Pokémon," Giovanni said as he pulled out Mimey's Pokéball he took from the house, and returned him. He then climbed into his car and drove off as the sounds of sirens for the Pallet Town police and fire department were heard, rushing to a empty house and more questions then answers.
