AUTHOR'S NOTES:
Hello everyone and welcome to Chapter eight of Alpha and Omega. I'm still hoping one of you artist will contact me about the drawings I'm going to need. Nobody contacted me yet.

And I've got nothing left to say now, so.... If you like my work please vote, feel free to comment, and please share this story with your friends. I now present to you chapter 8. Enjoy.

"Attention ladies and gentlemen this is your captain speaking, we will be making our descent soon into Madrid City airport. Please fasten your seatbelts and place your tray tables in the upright and locked position, thank you," said the aircraft's captain.

One of the flight attendants began to walk down the aisle to make sure all the tray tables were up. As she walked she stopped in the first class section as she saw a young couple sleeping. The young woman was leaning against the young man, as his head was resting on hers and his right arm was wrapped around her, and they held each others left hands, with a Pikachu curled up sleeping in the young woman's lap. The flight attendant thought they looked so cute and didn't want to wake them, but one of their trays was down and had some items on it, so she couldn't do it for them.

"Excuse me sir. Sir I need you to wake up," the fight attendant said as she poked the man's head.

The young man stirred, and looked up at the flight attendant groggily as he was waking up.

"Sir were going to be landing soon, I need you to put your tray table up," the flight attendant said.

Ash nodded, and the flight attendant walked away. Ash tried to move, but soon realized he couldn't as Serena was holding one hand and leaning against his side, effectively pinning the other. He looked at Serena and smiled as he saw how peaceful she looked. He didn't want to wake her, but he had to.

Ash kissed Serena's head. "It's time to wake up beautiful, we're going to be landing soon," Ash said.

"No, five more minutes," Serena mumbled half asleep.

Serena then snuggled more into Ash and tried to pull his hand closer. Ash chuckled at her response. A few seconds later Serena released Ash and allowed him to comply with the crews request, and a few minutes later the plane landed. Once off the plane Ash took Serena by the hand and they quickly made their way out of the airport. Once outside Ash took a deep breath and just looked around the immediate area.

"This is it buddy, a new journey," Ash said excitedly to Pikachu, who was perched on his shoulder.

"Pika," Pikachu replies enthusiastically.

"You really are excited aren't you?" Serena asked as she was reminded of his enthusiasm and energy during their time in Kalos.

"Of course! Pikachu and I spent over a year in Alola without traveling like this. The closest thing to traveling we did was camping over the weekend with the friends I made, and field trips. Other than that I always was going back to Professor Kukui's house at the end of the day," Ash explained. He then looked up at the sky and felt a breeze. "I don't regret my time there, it was definitely beneficial for me, beyond getting Z crystals. But all that time, I still wanted to move. Despite all that I learned I didn't really feel like I was moving forward on achieving my dream of becoming a Pokémon Master. But now, I feel like I'm back on track, and I have you to thank for it," Ash said as he took Serena's hand and kissed it at the end, causing Serena to blush.

"Now let's go, my first gym badge awaits !" Ash announced as he tried to pull Serena along.

"Hold on Ash," Serena said as she pulled Ash back.

Ash stumbled backwards from her pull.

"What?" Ash questioned.

"Aren't you forgetting something that we should probably do first?" Serena asked, trying to make him think.

"Umm, I don't think so," Ash is replied.

"How about delivering Professor Oak's research to Professor Pine. He's expecting us remember," Serena said with a deadpanned expression.

"Oh yeah, I forgot," Ash replied as he scratched the back of his head.

Serena shook her head and laughed a little at Ash's behavior.

"I swear, what you do with out me," Serena said as she pulled out her tablet and pulled up a map to the Professor's lab.

"I don't know, but let's not find out," Ash said then gave Serena a peck on the cheek.

"Agreed, let's not. According to the map it looks like Professor Pine's lab isn't too far. We should just walk and take in the sights," Serena suggested.

"Alright then, lead the way," Ash replied enthusiastically.

Serena then pointed in a direction, as Ash took her free hand in his and the two started walking to the lab.

Little did Ash and Serena know, three others heard their conversation too.

"Did you hear that?" Asked the woman with red hair.

"Yes I did, it appears the twerp and twerpet are dating," the man with blue hair replied.

"Not that James, pay attention," the woman scolded.

"They said they were taking Professor Oak's research to some other Professor. Who knows what secrets it could have," said a short man.

"Exactly Meowth. If we were to steal that research then Team Rocket would have it, and could be able to use it to capture all sorts of rare and powerful Pokémon on our path to world domination," said the red-haired woman.

"Then we should just grab it now and get Pikachu while we're at it," Meowth added.

"I don't think so," said James.

"And why not?" Asked The woman angrily.

"Jessie think about it. Professor Oak is having the twerp hand deliver the research, why not email it. More is going on than we know. We should follow them to the lab and see what's going on first. This might lead us to something even bigger," James explained.

"Fine, I guess that makes sense," Jessie admitted reluctantly.

"Well let's hurry up and follow them before they get away," said Meowth.

"Right!" Jessie and James said in unison.

"Wobbuffet!"

Ash and Serena made their way through Madrid city, seeing the sights and taking several pictures. At one point they overheard cheers coming from a stadium, Ash knew there was a Pokémon battle going on inside and wanted to go watch. Serena was forced to say no and remind him of their responsibility to go to Professor Pine's lab. She then saw a bakery and was able to use that as a distraction and get Ash to focus on that instead. They went inside and purchased themselves some fresh churros, getting one for Pikachu as well. All the while they failed to notice Jessie, James, and Meowth following them. After a little while of walking they arrived at the large tan building that was Professor Pines lab. Ash knocked, but there was no answer, the door was unlocked so they opened it and walked in. The inside was massive, along the walls old paintings of various Pokémon everywhere, the floor was in colorful tiles that looked like Arceus and Giratina in a battle in front of a sunset.

"Hello, Professor Pine are you in here," Ash yelled.

They waited a moment, but there was no answer. Ash was about to yell again but heard the sound of rapidly approaching footsteps on the tile floor. The foot steps got closer and closer, until finally a woman emerged from the hall way. She looked like she was in her mid-twenties and about Serena's hight, with free-flowing purple hair that reached just a little past her shoulders, and was wearing a lab coat.

"Hola, how may I help you?" The woman asked.

"Neither of us is Hola, I'm Ash and this is Serena. We're here to deliver Professor Oak's research for the new Pokédex to you and be two of the testers," Ash explained.

The woman giggled. "Hola isn't a name. It means hello in the native language of the Torrent region, Torish. And your not giving the research to me, my name is Annabel.  I'm Professor Pines sister and research assistant," Annabel explained.

"Oh, sorry," Ash replied sheepishly as he scratched the back of his head.

"It's no problem, it happens all the time with trainers from the other regions. Please follow me, I'll show you to the lab," Annabel explained.

She led them down several halls, which were also decorated with paintings of Pokémon. Soon they entered a large room loaded with computers and test equipment. In front of one of the computers was a man in his early thirties with messy dark purple hair, a messy purple beard that looked like he hadn't shaved in a week, two piercings in his left ear, and he was snoring loudly.

"How embarrassing," Annabel groaned.

"Let me guess, that's Professor Pine?" Asked Serena.

Annabel sighed. "Yes that's him. In his defense he usually works at night and sleeps during the day. But lately he's barely even slept any, since he's been working hard to make sure the new Pokédex works without any issues."

She then walked to a coffee maker and started making a pot of fresh coffee. She then walked over to the sleeping Professor and rolled his chair away from the desk, then looked to Ash and Serena.

"Would you two please face the other direction. This isn't going to be pretty and I don't want witnesses," Annabel requested.

Nervously Ash and Serena turned around, even Pikachu didn't watch. Once they were no longer looking, Annabel grabbed her brothers chair at bottom and put one hand on the back of the seat. Then in one swift movement she pushed and pulled at the chair resulting in her brother falling out of the seat and crashing to the ground.

"OW! WHAT THE HELL! Shit, that hurt. Annabel what's the big idea," Professor Pine yelled as he laid on the floor and rubbed his head, which hit the floor hard.

"You were asleep again, and you have visitors," Annabel snapped as she pointed to Ash and Serena.

Professor Pine pulled himself to his feet and looked at Ash and Serena.

"Who are you?" Asked the Professor in a grumpy tone.

"Hi, I'm Ash," "and I'm Serena."

"We were sent by Professor Oak with his research," Ash finished.

"Oh yes that's right, a pleasure to meet you both," Professor Pine said, in a much happier tone.

The Professor rushes over to them and shook both of their hands, and then laid his eyes on Pikachu.

"My what an adorable looking Pikachu, may I?" Professor Pine asked as he looked to Ash.

"Um sure," Ash responded.

Professor Pine picked Pikachu off of Ash's shoulder and carried him to a table in the middle of the room. He then put on some glasses and began to examine Pikachu.

"Yes yes, very healthy. And look at these electricity sacks, he must be quite strong, something you don't see much of with Pikachus'. Most trainer just evolve them either as soon as they capture them, or after the Pikachu learned all the moves he can't learn as a Raichu. But this Pikachu is exceptionally powerful, why I could imagine he could out shock the average Raichu," Stated Professor Pine.

"Pikachu was my first Pokémon, and I won't make him evolve unless he wants to," said Ash.

"Quite commendable, I can see why Professor Oak has so much faith in you. Now about that research," said Professor Pine.

"Oh yeah," Serena said as she dug through her back pack, pulled out an external hard drive, and held it out to Professor Pine. "Here it is."

Professor Pine took the hard drive, and beamed with excitement as he stared at it.

"You know, those things tend to work best when you plug it in," Annabel teased.

Professor Pine didn't respond to her. He merely recomposed himself, pluged it into the computer, and began the download.

"There, download started. It'll take a few minutes to download to the computer, then a few more to add it to the Pokédexs," Professor Pine then yawned. "Plenty of time for a power nap."

Ash and Serena sweatdropped at his statement. The Professor tried to walk over to a chair to sleep in, but was stopped by Annabel grabbing him by the collar of his lab coat.

"You've slept enough for now. I made coffee, so drink," said Annabel.

Professor Pine smelled the air.

"I'm only drinking the coffee because it smells good, not because you told me to," Professor Pine responded, then walked to the coffee maker.

Ash and Serena then decided to look around as they waited. There were several Pokémon paintings on the walls so they began to look at them. Soon however Ash noticed a wall with several that looks different than the others. These were of legendary Pokémon in battle, and they were all looking rather familiar. One particular one caught Ash's eye as it depicted the three legendary birds of Kanto, with Lugia flying overhead, with what appeared to be a person riding on its back.

"Professor, these pictures look different than the rest. These look like they are of actual battles," said Ash.

Professor Pine walked up as he was taking a sip of coffee.

"That's because they are. These paintings are recreations of the originals that are in museums around the world. These are of actual prophecies from around the world. This one in particular actually happened a couple of years ago in the Orange Islands. It depicts the three legendary birds of Kanto bringing forth the destruction of the world, and Lugia who comes to protect a single man who was to restore the balance and save the world," Professor Pine smiled as he looked at the painting. "I'm a sucker for a good hero story. I would just love to meet that trainer, but the authorities buried the identity of who the trainer was. I guess he didn't want the whole world to know he was a hero."

"Who knows, maybe one day you'll meet him and won't even know it," Ash stated.

Pine chuckled. "Maybe. I just wonder if it's all the same trainer."

"What do you mean?" Asked Serena.

"Like I said all of these paintings are of prophecies. And in each one the prophecies speaks of a man who saves the day. Scholars refer to him as Arceus's Chosen One. A lot of these prophecies have already happened within the last ten years, so it's likely to assume that one man is the hero in all of them, Arceus sending his chosen one where he is needed. The most recent one happened in the Alola region not too long ago. But yet again the authorities buried the names of those involved, even Professor Kukui is being tight lipped about it," Professor Pine explained.

Ash nervously walked away and began to look at the other paintings. Serena noticed this and gave Ash a suspicious look, as there was another painting with two fifty percent Zygrade and a Pokémon that greatly resembled Ash-Greninja.

All of a sudden there was a ding coming from the computer as the research was successfully downloaded to the computer. Professor Pine then began the download to three Pokédex.

"There, just a few more minutes and we'll be ready. The collective research of every professor around the world will soon be contained in every Pokédex," Professor Pine thought out loud.

The Professor then noticed the time on the computer.

"Annabel, did we reschedule the time Isla was supposed to arrive?" The Professor asked.

Annabel sighed. "No. She's running late, again."

"Who's Isla?" Asked Serena.

"The other tester that was supposed to come in for a new Pokédex today. She is always late. She was lucky her parents gave her her first Pokémon. When she came to me I actually ran out of Pokémon because she was late. She was going to have to wait another week before we had another. Then she decided to tell me her parents gave her a Ralts already, so frustrating," complained Professor Pine.

Meanwhile just outside the lab, Team Rocket has broken in and heard all about the Pokédex.

"Did you hear that? The research from all the professors," said Jessie.

"With all that the possibilities for Team Rocket are endless," added Meowth.

"Then we need to move fast, that download won't take too much longer," James added.

The trio then slipped away quietly to put their plan into action.

A few minutes later the computer beeped indicating the download was done.

"Excellent, now to teach you how to use the new Pokédex," stated Professor Pine.

"How are these different from the past Pokédex? Isn't it just point it at a Pokémon and that's it?" Asked Ash.

"Well the Pokémon identification function yes, but this is so much more than a traditional Pokédex. It includes a GPS tracker that can send your location to the nearest emergency services if you activate the emergency signal. Also a map where you can set specific locations and it will guide you right to the location, as well as several other features I will explain to you as I go over its operations," explained Professor Pine.

All of a sudden there was an explosion and part of the roof collapsed. Then a mechanical arm shot through the dust and grabbed all the Pokédex as well at the table they were sitting on.

"What's going on," coughed Annabel.

"We're what's going on," said a female voice from within the dust cloud, as a Meowth shaped balloon, lowered into view.

"Prepare for trouble."

"And make it double."

"To protect the world from devastation."

"To unite all peoples within our nation"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love."

"To extend our reach to the stars above."

"Jessie."

"James."

"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light."

"Surrender now or prepare to fight."

"Meowth that's right."

"Wobbufett."

"Team Rocket!" Ash spat as he stepped forward and Pikachu jumped off his shoulder, sparking his cheeks.

"The one and only," said Meowth proudly.

"Aww that felt nice. Much better than that introduction we were doing in Alola," Jessie commented.

"Agreed, can't beat a classic," James added.

"You know these people?" Asked Professor Pine.

"They're a bunch of crooks that steal people's Pokémon," Serena replied.

"And today we are stealing these Pokédex. The collective research of all the worlds top Professors, all the Pokémon of the world will be easy picking for Team Rocket," said James.

"But since you're here, we might as well take a shot at Pikachu too," Jessie said.

Instantly another mechanical arm shot out forward towards Pikachu.

"Pikachu look out!" Ash yelled.

Pikachu dodged just a little and the arm missed by a great amount, flew by Ash, and grabbed Serena.

"Serena!" Ash yelled as the arm raised Serena up into the air and closer to Team Rocket.

"Ash!" Serena screamed.

Ash reached for Greninja's pokeball, as Pikachu's electric attacks could hurt Serena also.

"Don't you dare release another Pokémon. You wouldn't want something bad to happen to your girlfriend now would you," said Jessie as the hand squeezed Serena a little tighter.

Serena didn't scream in pain, but Ash could see on her face that it was hurting her. Seeing this Ash froze and shifted his eyes to Team Rocket. The trio shuttered as Ash's eyes landed on them, they showed a level of hate they never saw before, and never thought possible from him. The kind of look a made them question if Ash would actually kill them if given a chance.

"Let Serena go!" Ash yelled.

"Maybe, maybe not," taunted Meowth.

"Here's the deal, you surrender all your Pokémon to us, and we let your little girlfriend go. Defy us and we take her back to our boss. Considering all the trouble you've caused us over the years, I'm sure he would love to vent some frustrations out on her," Jessie replied.

Despite not letting it show, Jessie actually regretted saying those words. She didn't like Ash or any of his companions, but she didn't wish any kind of serious physical harm to any of them. And she knew that Serena would most definitely be tortured by Giovanni, if she was lucky. And being a woman herself, was disgusted by the thoughts of what else could happen to Serena.

Ash's eyes were wide, he didn't know what to do. He had to protect Serena, but at the same time he couldn't just give all his Pokémon to them. This was a lose-lose situation, and he didn't have any guarantee they would give Serena back if he did cooperate. He needed a third option, or a way to free Serena.

"GALLADE PSYCHO CUT!" A voice yelled.

Suddenly from behind several light blue crescent-shaped blades flew over Ash's head towards the Team Rocket balloon. The blades cut into the mechanical arms, resulting in Serena and the Pokédexs falling. Ash sprints to Serena and catches her before she hits the ground. Ash holds Serena tight and close in his arms relieved she is safe.

"Hey pal, have your moment with your girlfriend later. Let's deal with these crooks now," said a voice, the same that gave the order to Gallade.

Ash and Serena got to their feet and ran back towards where they were as they both grabbed pokeballs from their belts and released the Pokémon.

"Greninja I choose you!"

"Braixen come on out!"

Ash and Serena stopped a safe distance away from Team Rocket, as Greninja, Braixen, and Pikachu stood between them. Then the Gallade ran up and took a position beside them, as a teenager, about fourteen years old, with turquoise eyes and extremely short brown hair, wearing a pair of tan shorts and a black tee shirt with a Keldo on it stepped in line with Ash and Serena.

"I'm Isla by the way, sorry I'm late," she said calmly.

"Thanks for joining us, how about giving us a hand and stopping them," Ash replied.

"Sounds like fun," Isla replied with a smile.

Team Rocket looks on in horror as they see themselves lose control of the situation.

"Damn, another twerp. James get us out of here," said Jessie urgently.

"Right!" Replied James.

The Meowth shaped balloon started to raise up.

"I don't think so. Greninja, pop that balloon with water shuriken!" Ash yelled.

Despite Serena now being safe Ash's anger wasn't gone. Team Rocket finally did something they had never done before, make Ash truly mad. Because of this, he wasn't letting them get away this time.

Greninja slapped the Xs on the sides of his legs and formed two shurikens, slapped them together and threw them as one at the balloon, slicing a hole through it just below the eyes. The balloon then came crashing down, with the basket tipping over and pouring Team Rocket out.

"Ow," James groaned. "Jessie, I think we went too far this time."

"What do you mean," Jessie groaned as she was trying to get up.

"Look at the twerp," said Meowth in a scared tone.

Jessie looked and immediately became scared herself. The hate coming from the look on Ash's face was indescribable. It filled Team Rocket with a fear they had never felt before, greater even than the fear of failing Giovanni. However knowing that they were most certainly going to jail it they were caught, they shook off the fear and grabbed their pokeballs.

"Mimikyu go."

"Mareanie your up."

"Wobbufett, Meowth you too," said Jessie.

Mimikyu emerged from his pokeball with an evil glint in his eye, while Mareanie latched onto Jame's head.

"I'll take the Mareanie," said Isla.

"I've got Mimikyu," added Serena.

"Wobbufett and Meowth, no problem. Pikachu, let Greninja handle this," said Ash.

Pikachu sighed sadly, then ran back to Ash.

Mareanie released James and jumped into the air to use spike cannon. It raised her tentacles over her head and began firing white spikes while she spun.

Gallade dodged with teleport, causing the spikes to hit the ground where he once stood. He the reappeared right in front of Mareanie and proceeded to rapidly punch and kick Mareanie as he used close combat.

Mareanie hit the ground in front of Jessie and James.

As Gallade and Mareanie were battling, Mimikyu was charging right for Pikachu. He was so focused on Pikachu that he didn't see Braixen firing her flamethrower, knocking him away easily.

Mimikyu recovered and countered with shadow ball, forming a black and purple ball of energy and firing it at Braixen. Braixen fired hidden power, forming a light blue energy ball in her hands then fired it. The hidden power missed the shadow ball and hit Mimikyu, knocking him to the ground by Mareanie, while Braixen gracefully dodged the shadow ball.

Seeing his mate battling an opponent who didn't seem to be paying her any attention put Greninja at ease knowing Braixen would be fine. He focused on his targets, Meowth and Wobbuffet. Meowth started off charging at Greninja with fury swipes, his claws extended and glowing white, with Wobbuffet right behind him.

It was clear what their plan was, Greninja throws a water shurikin at Meowth, who would then dodge allowing it to hit Wobbuffet, who would send the attack back with mirror coat.

Greninja slapped the Xs on his legs creating two water shurikens, but instead of throwing them, he charged at Meowth. Greninja closed the distance between the two so fast Meowth didn't have a choice but to attack. Meowth pulled both arms back to strike in an X pattern. However, Greninja threw both of his hands up, still holding the shurikens. The shurikens deflected the claws as they we coming down, knocking them back up and causing Meowth to stumble back. Meowth's body was left wide open by this, and Greninja threw the water shurikens at Meowth at point blank range. Meowth flew back hitting Wobbuffet, then before either could fall to the ground, Greninja launched his tongue at them. The duo was wrapped up together, Greninja used his long tongue as a rope and began spinning them into the air. Then Greninja jumped up, swinging them up above him, then swinging them down as he released them. Wobbuffet And Meowth slammed into the ground on top of Mimikyu and Mareanie.

Team Rocket's Pokémon were in a pile in front of them, but not knocked out. They were getting back to their feet when they heard something they wished they hadn't.

"PIKACHU THUNDERBOLT!" Ash yelled.

Pikachu's whole body sparked yellow with electricity, as a bolt of electricity fired from his body and hit Team Rocket's Pokémon, knocking them out, and back into Jessie and James.

"Get off me," Jessie groaned as she and James were pinned under the pile of Pokémon.

As they were trying to get back to their feet, another pair came to a stop right in front of them. They looked up to see those feet belonged to none other than Ash, who was glaring down at them.

"Oh just do it. Just have Pikachu hit us with some electric attack and send us blasting off already," Jessie said angrily.

"No," Ash replied coldly.

"What!?" Jessie and James reply in shock.

"You heard me. That's too easy for you. No, you are staying right here to be arrested," said Ash.

Police sirens could be heard in the distance, causing Jessie and James to struggle even more. With a great show of strength, Jessie managed to lift them all up and off of her. But before she or James could do anything, she was captured by a set of vines. They looked back to see the vines came from a Venusaur, that was released by Isla.

Officer Jenny arrived and took Jessie and James into custody. The Pokémon were returned to their pokeballs, except for Meowth, as he didn't have one. The police then put handcuffs on him as well and sent him with Jessie and James.

Team Rocket was gone and officer Jenny had just finished taking Serena's statement as she walked back into the lab. Professor Pine was examining the Pokédex to ensure they weren't damaged, Isla was talking with Annabel, and Ash was sitting on a piece a debris looking at the down Team Rocket Balloon.

"Are you ok?" Serena asked Ash as she approached him.

Ash looked over at Serena and smiled. He then stood up and rushed her, picking her up at her waist and spinning her.

"I'm better than ok, I'm great. You are safe and Team Rocket is gone, after eight long years, Team Rocket is finally gone. Finally a journey through a region where I don't have to keep worrying that they are going to try and steal my Pokémon," Ash said excitedly.

Serena smiled as she looked down upon him with loving eyes. Upon seeing those eyes Ash lowered Serena down and quickly took her into a passionate loving kiss.

"Get a room you two," Isla teased.

Ash and Serena broke the kiss upon being startled by Isla's comment.

"By the way, I haven't had a chance to say this yet, but thank you for your help. If it wasn't for you I don't know what would have happened," Ash said as he extended his hand.

"Don't mention it, I'm happy I could help," Isla replied as she shook his hand. Isla then looked back to Annabel and Professor Pine. "looks like it was a good thing I was late this time," Isla said with a smirk.

The Professor and Annabel just rolled their eyes as they finished examining the Pokédexs.

"Ok, everything looks fine with these. Time to test them out. Everyone grab one and strap it to your wrist. Pikachu please get on the table, we'll have them scan you to make sure it works," said Professor Pine.

"Pika," Pikachu replied.

He then jumped off of Ash's shoulder and climbed onto the table, as Annabel gave each of them Pokédex and they strapped them on.

"Ok now, just press the black button there to open the screen cover and activate it into scan mode and point at a Pokémon. It will go back into sleep mode after you close the cover back or don't scan anything else after a minute," Professor Pine explained as he used another Pokédex to show where to push.

The three trainers pointed their Pokédex at Pikachu and pressed the button. In less than a second Pikachu was scanned and a hologram of a yellow Pikachu appeared as it gave Pikachu's description.

"Oh wow, that's so amazing," Serena said as she saw the Pikachu hologram as it spun giving a three-sixty view.

"Thank you. The latest in hologram technology was used to archive this," Professor Pine said proudly.

"Excuse me, but what does this mean?" Ash asked as he pointed to a Pokeball symbol over his Pikachu hologram's head.

"That indicates that you already have one registered as one of your Pokémon. I have linked each of your Pokédex specifically to your trainer accounts. If you press the Pokeball button on your Pokédex you can cycle through all the Pokémon you have to choose from between what you have with you and at your Professor's lab by using the arrows on either side on the Pokeball. Then press the Pokeball again and you can select that Pokémon and see all their stats and moves they know," Professor Pine explained.

The Professor took the next fifteen minutes explaining all the functions and how to use them. Finally, he was done, and it was time to go.

"So where are you two heading," Isla asked Ash and Serena after they walked out of the lab.

"We're going to head to the Madrid City gym so I can win my first Torrent League gym badge," Ash said excitedly.

"Well, you better hurry then. The gym closes in twenty minutes and won't reopen for a week," Isla explained.

"Oh no. Serena quick pull up the map," Ash said urgently.

"Don't worry about that I'll show you the way. My father is the gym leader and I was heading there anyway," said Isla.

"Thank you we'd appreciate the that," said Ash.

The three then took off running to Ash's first gym battle in the Torrent region.
