Quick Bio

You are (Y/n), a 15 year old girl who was abandoned by her mother when she was only 13. With only 200 Pokédollars left on her, she bought her first pokeball and caught a Pikachu that was just recently abandoned by his trainer for being "too weak".

Two years later...

POV third

You and Pikachu have been hiding for a whole now, cause for some reason a random kid seems to think that you shouldn't have Pikachu and wants you to give him it. What's worse is that the kid actually went to have his mother make you give him Pikachu as well.

As the two of you are hiding, you hear a nearby bush begin to move, scaring you and making Pikachu get defensive.

Pikachu: "Pii..." *Static starts to build up*

???: "Ah! WAIT WAIT WAIT!"

Just then, a beautiful girl pops her head out of the bushes, making Pikachu stop his attack.

???: "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you and your..." *Gasps* "OHMYGODISTHATAPIKACHU!?"

When she saw Pikachu, she almost jumped out of the bushes completely, eyes sparkling. However, just as quickly as she switched to have sparkling eyes, she stops, noticing how you looked extremely skinny with messy, long hair, with your bangs covering your eyes.

???: "Oh my God... Are you o-"

As she reaches her hand out to you, you start to fear the worse and start to back away from her.

(Y/n): *teary eyed* "Please, don't take my friend away!" *Holds Pikachu tight*

???: "Huh? What do you mean? I wouldn't-"

Young voice: "Mommy! I found her!"

The two of you turned towards the voice, with you being horrified that it belonged to the boy from earlier. What's more, his mother appears, looking like she's furious as she almost runs towards you.

Lady: "About bloody time you show yourself! Now, GIVE MY BOY THAT PIKACHU!" *Reaches her hands out to grab him*

(Y/n): "NO, PLEASE!" *Holds Pikachu close* "HE'S ALL I HAVE!"

???: "HEY!" *Grabs lady's arm before it could reach you* *turns to the lady* "WHAT do you think you're doing!?"

Lady: "I'm trying to get my son his Pokemon! What do you think YOU are doing! Unhand me!" *Yanks her arm away*

???: "Well, apparently I'm keeping a Pokemon kidnapping from happening!"

Lady: "'Kidnapping'!? I'll have you know my son saw that Pikachu first! Now move!" *Pushes ??? away and tries to get Pikachu again*

Before the lady could grab him, you quickly take out Pikachu's pokeball and return it, only making the lady even more furious.

Lady: "What do you think you are doing?! Give my son his PIKACHU!"

She then grabs at you, trying to take your pokeball away, with you turning away, holding on for dear life. However, just as she grabs your hand, you feel her let go just as quickly, along with hearing the lady grunt in pain and the boy begining to cry. You turn towards the lady, only to see the girl, who was helping you before, standing between you and the two.

???: "Sorry, but I'm not about to stand by and let you steal someone's Pokemon! If you won't back down then-" *takes out pokeball*

???: "-I'll make you back down, with a Pokemon battle!"

Lady: *clicks her tongue* "... Let's go, David."

She gets up, grabs her son's hand and, while he's crying about not getting "his" Pikachu, drags him away, lowering the tension in the area. After the mother and son leave, ??? puts away her pokeball and turns towards you, with the same chipper personality you saw from her earlier.

???: "Thank goodness she turned around, my Tepig was already exhausted, haha... Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce myself!" *Reaches her hand out to you* "um, well... My name is-"

Just then, Pikachu breaks free from it's pokeball, and starts to stretch.

Pikachu: *sounding annoyed* "Pi" *stretches similar to how a cat stretches*

???: "Huh?! It broke free from it's pokeball?!"

(Y/n): *starts to pet it* "Sorry, Pikachu, I had to think fast, I hope you aren't mad..."

Pikachu: *happily* "Pika Pi!" *Starts to nuzzle on your neck* "cha~"

???: "Whoa, I've never seen a Pokemon break free from it's pokeball before..."

(Y/n): *you realize the girl is still there* "Ah! I'm sorry!" *You jump up, with both you and Pikachu bowing to her* "T-Thank you so much for your help earlier. M-My name is (Y/n)."

???: Oh, uh, nice to meet you, (Y/n). My name is Hilda. I just started my Pokemon journey today." *Scratches the back of her head* "hey, uh, do you want to join me in the next town to eat?..."

When Hilda said that, both your's and Pikachu's eyes sparkled as you both stared at her, mouth watering

Hilda: "I'll... Take that as a yes." *Laughs alittle* "Come on." *Reaches her hand out to you*

Hesitating for a moment, you reach out, taking her hand as she leads you to the next town, past Route 1...

Friendships, Bonds, and even dreams. These and many other things await our two hero's as they begin their journey together, from Unova to Galar. Will the two be able to overcome the hardships they'll face? Will (Y/n) be able to overcome her past? And most importantly, what will happen when Hilda discovers (Y/n)'s past? That's the end of this prologue, I hope you enjoyed reading it. Truthfully, Hilda has (for some reason) been my favorite female trainer in the series, and I've noticed that alot of stories has her either with Hilbert or with N, so... I figured I'd try to make a Hilda X Female Reader story (reason why it's female reader is cause not alot of stories are "female trainer x female reader" stories, and I kinda like those stories, so I wanted to try to make one)
