"Well see I thought that movie would suck but you surprised me" Illusion said, throwing an arm around Ada's shoulders.

Ada rolled her eyes. He'd been flirting with her all night and she was almost getting sick of it. Almost.

"Whatever" Ada mumbled, sinking into the couch she and her friend were sitting on.

One of the other leads had thrown an after party for the cast of the movie after the premiere. Most of the cast had shown up, and even some of the crew members were invited.

Illusion raised an eyebrow and smirked, "What's the matter Ada?" He wondered, taking her hand, "Trouble in paradise?" He asked, kissing her hand.

Ada blushed madly and Butterfree swarmed in her stomach. She wanted to spray the Butterfree in the face with a repel.

"Why are you doing this?" Ada asked, her blush still prominent.

"You told me I couldn't flirt with 'anyone else'" Illusion explained, leaning in and hovering his lips over Ada's neck, "So I'm not" he whispered.

Ada shuddered. She hated that she shuddered. She knew that's what Illusion wanted. She was just someone he could flirt with. She didn't want to give him the satisfaction, but it was so hard.

"Stupid Illusion with your stupid loopholes..." Ada muttered.

Illusion beamed and his eyes sparkled. His smile returned the Butterfree in her stomach and made them flutter again.

Stop it, she thought, scolding herself, Raven likes him. Girl code- you cannot go after him.

Well why not? She doesn't have to find out...

"I wanna go home" Ada murmured.

"Really? Shame. I was kind of hoping I'd get to bug you more. Oh well" Illusion said, slight disappointment in his voice.

The pair got up from the couch and Ada said goodbye to her cast mates and excused herself.

"Thank Arceus I can take this off" Illusion sighed as they walked outside, tugging at the collar of his tux.

"What?" Ada squeaked.

"What? It's uncomfortable"

"Oh"

"So what hotel were you staying at?" Illusion asked.

"Oh I actually was hoping I could stay at your place tonight?" Ada asked, leaving room for interpretation.

Illusion didn't seem to pick up on it, "Sure! You can crash on my couch"

"Gee thanks" Ada grumbled.

For someone who sleeps around, he doesn't seem to notice when someone wants to sleep with him, Ada thought gravely.

The pair made it to Illusion's apartment fairly quickly since he lived in the city already and was fairly close to Pokestar.

Illusion threw his keys in the table and attempted to untie the tie around his neck.

"Who designed these torture devices?" Illusion groaned.

Ada rolled her eyes and helped Illusion untie his tie.

"I didn't know you could clean up so well" Ada said, slowly detangling the tie around her friends neck.

"Eh it's my dad's tux" Illusion explained as Ada pulled the now loose tie over his head.

"Yeah uh huh, whatever" Ada mumbled, pulling Illusion into a kiss.

After a few seconds, the boy grabbed her shoulders and pushed her away, "W-What are you doing?" He asked, clearly stunned.

"Nothing now" she mumbled.

Illusion laughed with no humor, "Ada seriously" he pressed.

"I kissed you, you pushed me away, and now we're talking which is a huge step down"

"Do you even know what you're doing?"

"I'm hitting on you?" Ada guessed.

"Ada you're not funny!" Illusion exclaimed, his voice going a few octaves higher than normal.

"I'm not joking"

Illusion took a few steps backwards and laughed nervously, "Ada you and I can't-"

"-Why not? C'mon...I'm all yours" Ada promised.

Illusion looked like he was about to scream, "Don't ever say that again. This is...no"

"What's the matter? Am I not pretty enough for you?" Ada asked, crossing her arms and taking a step towards Illusion.

Illusion's pupils dilated, "T-That's not it! I just..."

"Just what?"

"I don't want to make things" Illusion began, waving his hands around trying to conjure up words, "Complicated" he finished.

"It won't" Ada promised, wrapping her arms around Illusion's neck. She ran her fingers through his long green hair as he spoke.

"Yeah right" he said in disbelief.

"Just one night..." She whispered, "Don't tell me you're scared..." Ada teased.

Illusion raised an eyebrow, "Scared?" He asked.

"Yeah. Scared...Afriad...Torchic" Ada listed.

"Oh I'm not Torchic" Illusion confirmed.

"Prove it"

Ada woke up the next morning alone in Illusion's bed. She groaned as light leaked through the window, getting into her eyes.

Ada looked around the room to see her clothes scattered about. She got up, groaning and put most of her clothes back on. Instead of putting her dress back on, she stole one of Illusion's shirts.

She walked out of the bedroom and into the kitchen where Illusion seemed to be making breakfast.

"Mornin'" He chimed as Ada sat down at the kitchen counter.

"Uh...morning?" Ada replied, tapping her fingers on the counter.

Illusion turned around to face her, a spatula in his hand, and frowned, "That's my shirt"

"I know"

"Alright" Illusion said, turning back to the stove.

"What are you making?" Ada asked, stretching to try and get a better view.

"Pancakes"

"You can make pancakes?"

"Of course"

"So you're not completely incompetent then?" Ada teased, earning a frown from her friend.

The frown quickly faded and was replaced by a smirk, "'Incompetent'? That's a big word Ada"

"Whatever"

Illusion smiled and turned the stove off. He brought two plates of pancakes over to the counter and set one down in front of Ada. Illusion stood across from where Ada was sitting, shoving pancakes in his mouth.

"So attractive" Ada muttered sarcastically, eating a fork full of pancakes.

"I do try" Illusion replied, his mouth still full.

"Ya know I really don't see what all the fuss is about...you're not that good" Ada joked.

"It's the pancakes," Illusion explained, expanding on the joke, "If you promise women pancakes the next morning, they just can't say no"

Ada chuckled, "Ah"

Illusion nodded with a smile. Illusion caught Ada's gaze and held it for awhile before leaning in and kissing her.

When the pair pulled away, Ada asked, "Why'd you do that?"

Before Illusion could form the right words, there was a knock on the door.

"Illusion?" A muffled voice called, "Are you up?"

"Yeah I'm up. One sec" Illusion answered, walking over the the door.

"Raven!" Ada whispered, "Don't tell her I'm here"

"What? Why?" Illusion asked, going to open the door.

"Just don't" Ada hissed, running into Illusion's room to hide.

"Okaaaaaay" Illusion mouthed, opening up the door to be greeted by a familiar set of green eyes.

"Hey Rae"

"Hey" Raven said, pushing past Illusion and walking into the apartment.

Raven sniffed the air, "Pancakes?"

"Yeah" Illusion confirmed.

"Sleep with some girl?"

"Yeah"

"Figures...So anyway I really need to talk to you"

"Alright. Shoot"

"I...For a long time I...Are those chocolate chip pancakes?" Raven asked, pointing to one of the plates on the counter.

Chocolate chip pancakes were Ada's breakfast of choice, and Raven narrowed her eyes.

"Oh you didn't..." She whispered.

Before Illusion could make up an excuse, Raven walked straight to his room and opened the door. Ada practically fell out of the room, like she had her ear against the door.

"I can't believe this!" Raven exclaimed, horrified.

"Raven please, I can explain" Ada pleaded.

"No! I can't believe you would do this to me!"

"Raven-"

"-Don't talk to me!" Raven cried, scurrying out of the apartment and slamming the door behind her.

"Woah" Illusion said, "What was that about"

"I just broke girl code" Ada explained.
