Chapter 3: Gathering the Gang

Princess May and Misty left the store and walked to look for a place where they could rest and eat. Neither of the girls have had breakfast.

Along the way, May explained the situation to Misty. She had told her about how she didn't want to get married to the prince and that's why she ran away. May couldn't lie to Misty. She was a bit terrified of the warrior and her mallet. Also, Misty is very smart unlike some other warrior who just left her hanging in the cold.

The two managed to find a decent place where they can rest. Misty brought out a picnic mat so that they can sit down. May noticed that the warrior was deep in thought.

"Is there anything bothering you, Misty?" May asked as she sat down.

"It's just...I feel bad for you." Misty replied as she took her seat. "I mean...if I were in your position, I would have done the same thing, to be honest. I don't want to be married to some guy I didn't trust. I don't want you to do the same thing either."

May was shocked with what the warrior had said. She couldn't believe that she understood her.

"Thanks, Misty. But I guess you'll have to bring me home still, right?" May said.

"Yeah...but only when you want to." Misty said as May smiled.

"Wow. You mean it, Misty?"

"Yup...so...when did you run away?"

"About an hour after Ash left. Actually, I managed to run into him. We battled, but I lost. That means he won't let me travel with him, and I have to go back home. I didn't tell him that I ran away. I told him that dad appointed me to look out for him."

Misty's eyes were wide open upon the mention of the raven-haired boy. She couldn't believe he'd just let the princess be out on the cold all by herself.

"So...did Ash leave you there in the store?" Misty asked. She was already slightly angry about what Ash did, but she wanted to make sure.

"No. He left me in the cold." May answered.

"WHAT?! Ugh...Ash is such an idiot! When I see him, I'll make sure my mallet gives him a whacking of a lifetime." Misty said angrily as brought out her mallet and whacked the snowy ground.

"Misty, it's fine." May said in a soft tone and she calmed down the furious warrior. Misty returned her mallet and exhaled heavily.

"So...you managed to find your way to that store by yourself?" Misty, now calm, asked.

"Nah. I was already lying on a snow bed when some guy helped me out and brought me to the store. He also lent me his jacket, and apparently he also gave me this. I never got the chance to know who he was, though." May replied as she brought out the rose.

"Oooh! Too bad. He's even a really sweet guy. If only Ash-..." Misty stopped before she could blurt out something she didn't want to say. Was she gonna say that she wished Ash was like that to her?

"What about Ash?" May asked as she raised an eyebrow.

Misty blushed and shook off the embarrassment. "I was gonna say if only Ash had done that to you instead of leaving you in the cold."

"I guess you're right. But...what's done is done. Let's just eat!"

Misty brought out two sandwiches as they ate their breakfast.

--

May and Misty were now walking again as they had finished their food.

"So, Princess May, where are we going now?" Misty asked. She decided to follow where the princess wants to go until she comes to her senses and decides to go back home.

"We're going to Arendelle. We'll help them with their situation." May answered confidently. Misty smiled at the determination the princess was showing. She didn't know she had it in her.

While walking, they saw a Pikachu. The Pokémon looked at their girls and ran to them.

"Pikachu-pi!" The Pikachu said as he jumped onto Misty's arms.

"Pikachu! Hey, there!" Misty said happily. Her face immediately turned angry as she realized who the Pikachu belongs to. "Where is he?"

"Mist! Princess May!" The familiar boy said as he caught up with the girls. Misty placed Pikachu on the ground and walked towards the boy.

"Ash Ketchum, you have a lot of explaining to do!" Misty yelled. "Why on earth did you leave Princess May out on the cold? You're such an IDIOT!"

"Hey! It wasn't my fault she decided to tag along. Why are you here anyway?" Ash retorted.

"I was sent by King Norman to bring the princess home safely. You could have done that yourself, but you decided to just leave her."

"Oh come on, Misty! I have to get to Arendelle as fast as I could!"

"How come you're not there yet, then?"

"It's none of your business!"

"You're lost aren't you?"

"So?! What's it to you if I am lost?"

"That means you're such a big idiot!"

The two continued bickering at each other. May and Pikachu have had enough. They exchanged glances and May nodded.

"PIKAAA.....CHUUUU!" Pikachu jumped and hit the bickering two with a Thunderbolt attack. The two then fell to the ground. May then approached the two and helped both of them stand up.

"Okay. You two better stop fighting." May scolded the two.

"But May, Ash just left you in the cold. Aren't you gonna do something about it?" Misty questioned.

"I know, Misty. But I also wronged Ash. I shouldn't have lied." May answered. Ash looked at her confused.

"Lie about what?" Ash asked.

"You see, Ash, my father did not appoint me to look out for you. I ran away to escape from my wedding." May replied.

"I know you don't get it, Ash, but I know even you would want to get married with someone you really could love no matter how much you fight or argue." Misty answered calmly. She then blushed as she stepped away from Ash, realizing what she had said. May chuckled.

"Ok...but if we're not going to bring the princess home, won't it mean going against the king?" Ash asked.

"It's not, Ash." Misty answered. "The king told me to bring the princess home safely. He didn't set me any time limit. Plus, it would be nice to let the princess have an adventure of her own, right?"

"I guess you're right." Ash said. "I supposed I'll let Princess May come with me. You too, Mist! We'll have so much fun!"

"Glad you see it my way, Ash." May said. Misty just smiled. To be honest, she missed Ash while he was out by himself. She wouldn't admit this anyone, though.

"Well...let's head to Arendelle!" Misty said ecstatically. She and Ash then started to walk. Pikachu hopped onto Ash's shoulder.

"But first..." May said as pulled the two back. "Some rules. First, you two should minimize the arguing. And second, when we're around other people, don't refer to me as Princess May. Just call me May. I don't want them knowing who I really am."

Ash and Misty exchanged looks, faced May and nodded.

"Ok, May, we'll abide to your rules." Ash said.

"Yeah. Ash should just make sure he'll be less of an idiot then." Misty said.

"HEY!" Ash retorted.

May and Pikachu facepalmed as the two started bickering again.

'So much for minimizing the arguing.' May thought.

--

The three continued walking until they have reached a beautiful snowy town.

"Is this the place?" Ash asked.

A man then approached the three to welcome them. "Visitors! Welcome to the beautiful land of Arendelle!"

"Yup...we're here alright." Misty said.

The three smiled at the man and made their way to the castle.

They arrived in front of the castle and saw that it was completely frozen. A man with an overweight Sawsbuck then approached them.

"As you can see..." The man said while gesturing to the castle. "This is Arendelle's frozen wonderland." He dropped his hand as he sighed.

"I bet my Charizard can help out thaw the ice!" Ash said cheerfully.

"We've tried using fire, but nothing." The man said as he fed his Sawsbuck with a carrot. Ash's excitement dropped. The man looked at them again. "What brings you guys here anyway?"

"I was ordered by King Norman to save the land of Arendelle!" Ash said while raising his fist.

"Uh...so you're here to help us out? How did you even know about this?" The man asked.

"You see, we come from the Porin kingdom. Queen Elsa called us to help out." May answered.

"Oh ok then. It's the queen's orders after all. I assume you're all warriors?"

"Actually-" Ash said but he was cut off.

"Yup! We are!" Misty said.

"Okay...so...um...?" May trailed off as she didn't know how to refer to the man.

"Oh. It's Kristoff. I'm Arendelle's Ice Master and Deliverer." The man- Kristoff- introduced himself. "And this is my best friend, Sven." Sven neighed at the mention of his name.

"Nice to meet you, Kristoff and Sven!" Ash said. "My name is Ash Ketchum and this is my buddy, Pikachu! The crazy orange-haired girl is Misty."

"HEY! Who are you calling crazy?!?!" Misty yelled. The rest sweatdropped.

"Forgive those two, Kristoff. Anyway, my name is May." May said. "So...may I ask where Queen Elsa might be?"

"She's stuck there with her warriors and guards." Kristoff said sadly. Sven nudged him a little. "And also Princess Anna."

"That's terrible." Misty said.

"So...what are we gonna do now?" May asked.

"Well. Sven and I are off to Resin Town to get some tools that might be able penetrate the ice. You guys could do whatever you want to do here." Kristoff answered.

"Can't we come with you?" May asked. "After all, you said fire moves won't work. Plus, I think we need more information about Kyurem. Maybe we'll pass by some people who might know something about it."

"Whoa. Whoa. I don't want to put you guys in too much trouble. We can handle this." Kristoff said as he climbed up his sled.

"Wow...this guy is just as stubborn as Ash." Misty whispered to May.

"HEY! I heard that!" Ash retorted. The two girls sighed.

As Kristoff readied himself, something white approached them.

"Hey Kristoff! Sven! Wait for me! Let's go bring back summer again!" The white thing shouted.

"Oh no." Kristoff muttered.

The white thing stopped as he reached the gang. May, Misty and Ash were shocked with what they saw. It was a freaking snowman.

"Come on! This can't wait any longer!" The snowman said excitedly as hopped unto Kristoff's sled. He then turned to face the three.

"Y-you're..." The three stuttered as they looked at him.

"Oh, company!" The snowman cheered. "Hi, my name is Olaf, and I like warm hugs!"

The three dropped their jaws as Olaf continued talking.

"So...are they coming with us too? The more the merrier is what I say!" Olaf cheered.

"Yeah yeah. They're coming too." Kristoff said, slightly annoyed. The three looked at each other and then at Kristoff. He was telling them to hop on. Sven started to pull them, although it was difficult, but he could manage.

"To Raisin Town!" Olaf cheered.

"It's called Resin Town, Olaf." Kristoff said.

--

Yay! Olaf!!! I don't know if I could make Olaf as funny as he was in the movie, but I'll do my best. Next chapter, Resin Town!
