After a long day at work, Hilda was excited to get home and go to bed. She was forced to keep the bakery open longer than she wanted to, since a client had a problem with the product. The client was upset because the "Happy birthday" was written out in 'light red' icing instead of pink. Hilda had to explain that light red and pink were basically the same color, and somehow it had taken an hour for the client to get it through their skull.

As Hilda opened the door to the house her and her fiancé shared, she found pillows, blankets, and couch cushions forming a type of fort in her living room. She saw her fiancé crawl out from the fort with a huge smile on his face.

"Hilda!" He chirped, "Come here! I made a fort!" He exclaimed, crawling back into the fort.

Hilda rolled her eyes and set her things down by the door. As she approached the fort, she took her shoes off. Hilda crawled inside the fort to see her fiancé sitting upright, a goofy smile on his face.

"Hello, honey! You told me you had a stressful day so I made this fort for you!" He said, gesturing to the pillows and blankets that made up the structure.

"N...You did this for me?" Hilda asked, placing a hand on her heart, touched that he had thought of her.

N nodded, grinning, "Of course! But uh...please don't be mad at me" he said, his smile getting smaller.

Hilda raised an eyebrow, "Why would I get mad at you?" She asked suspiciously.

N laughed nervously, "Well uh see this?" He asked, pointing to the cushiony wall behind him.

"Yeah?"

"It's our mattress"

Hilda sighed and laughed, "N you're so adorable"

N cocked his head, "Why?"

"You did all this for me, just because I said I wasn't having a good day?"

N nodded, "Yes?"

Hilda giggled, "You're so cute"

N blushed and laid down on his side, facing Hilda, "Sorry that we'll probably have to sleep on the floor down here tonight"

Hilda giggled and laid down with N, snuggling into his chest, "No it's okay. Thank you"

"For what?" He asked.

"Just for being you"

(A/N. Well I have a headcanon that Hilda works at/owns a bakery once she's an adult. I think it's first time I've really mentioned it so now you all know.
