"Are you sure you're not feeling well, Kate?" Rhythmi asked her friend.

The other girls in the dorm tried to get Kate to get out of bed. After all, all she had was a headache! Just take some medicine!

Kate smiled weakly, "Just go! Have fun with the boys."

As the girls put on their jackets, they all exchanged glances.

"Go make out with Keith, Rhyth." Kate chuckled.

Rhythmi turned a deep red as the other girls in the room giggled, "I-I will not!"

One of the girls put her hands on Rhythmi's shoulders, "Well feel better Kate!"

The girls all shuffled out of the room, turning the light off for Kate as they exited.

"Alright I think they're gone..." Kate whispered, getting out of bed. She threw off her pajamas and put on her regular school uniform. She fixed her hair, brushed her teeth, and put on maybe a little too much perfume. She grabbed her math textbook and slowly opened the dorm room door. She peeked into the dorm hall and found it empty. Well, nearly empty.

A boy with blond hair was sitting at the boys table, scribbling away in a notebook. Kate took a deep breath and walked over to him.

"H-Hey!" Kate stuttered. She mentally groaned.

The blond looked up from his work and frowned, "Hey Kate...you didn't go out with the others?"

Kate took a seat across from him, "Nah...convinced them I had a migraine!"

"So...you don't?"

"No I uh...I was having trouble with the math homework for tomorrow. I know you're like, way ahead, but I was wondering if you'd help me? You're the smartest person in school!"

The blond blushed and looked away. He tried to speak, but just sputtered a bunch of incoherent words.

Kate blushed. Damn! Isaac was adorable!

"Soooo?" Kate sang.

Issac cleared his throat, "Um...sure. What do you need help with?"

Kate stood up and slid in next to Isaac, "Thank you! I owe ya one!"

Isaac turned a deep red as his and Kate's shoulders touched. Arceus, she was so pretty! And she smelled so good! And she was pretty! Arceus help!

"You okay?" Kate asked.

Isaac nodded, "S-So uh...show me what you're working on."

Isaac spent the next two hours with Kate. They finished Kate's homework in about a half hour, so they spent the rest of the hour and a half talking and flirting. Well, Kate was flirting. A lot. When she did, Isaac would blush and get flustered, which only made Kate want to flirt with him more.

They were interrupted when the rest of their class came up the stairs.

"Kate?" Rhymthi asked, "I thought you had a headache?"

Kate smiled and grabbed her things, "I felt better!"

Rhythmi crossed her arms and Keith snickered. Kate's brother Kellyn sighed. Isaac's friend Ponte shuffled over and sat on the other side of Isaac. He looked down at Issac's unfinished work. The only reason Ponte knew it was unfinished was because Kate was there.

Isaac generally dropped everything when Kate needed help.

Kate stood up and put a hand on Isaac's shoulder, "Thanks Isaac." She hummed.

"Yeah...Well...Um...Okay..." Isaac sputtered, getting redder and redder.

Ponte slapped Isaac on the back.

Isaac jumped, "Y-You're welcome!"

Kate flashed Isaac a smile and strolled over to the group of girls filing their way back into their dorm room. Rhythmi followed at Kate's side, pestering her for not coming out with them.

As the other boys went into their dorms, Keith and Kellyn took seats across from Isaac.

"Smooth." Keith said, smirking.

Isaac hit his forehead on the table. He groaned as Ponte patted his shoulder.

Kellyn leaned forward on his arms, "She con you into helping her with her homework again?"

"Yeah..." Isaac groaned.

Keith chuckled, "You're not even together and you're whipped!"

Isaac sighed and picked his head up, "She's just...very convincing."

"I'll bet she is..." Keith hummed.

Kellyn elbowed Keith in the side.

"Ow!"
