LyraxSilver
(A/N. So uh...this shit sinful. I need holy water after it. It's not like...actual smut, but the implied stuff is really...I cannot believe I wrote this. DON'T LOOK AT ME. Part two of the Silver and Lyra thing btw)
Team Rocket had been hitting the Kanto and Johto regions hard over the next few weeks. They've burned down buildings, destroyed forests, and terrorized the people of Kanto and Johto. All of which, for seemingly nothing other than pleasure. The citizens of both regions are terrified, and continuously looking to their champion for guidance. Unfortunately for them, their champion is just as lost.
Lyra's been so desperate. She and her friends have hardly been able to keep up with Team Rocket's vast numbers. The champions of Hoenn and Alola have offered their assistance, and have been putting grunts and admins out of commission for days. Lyra was grateful for their help, but they could only keep going like this for so long.
Lyra caught wind of grunts destroying the large fans in her hometown. She rushed down there, and sent out her Pokémon.
"Enough is enough," Lyra growled, "Find whoever is responsible and being them to me!"
Her Pokémon exchanged nervous looks.
"Now!" Lyra barked.
Togekiss and Dragonite took off, and Rhydon and Typhlosion ran off. Bellossom looked up at her trainer with Baby Doll Eyes.
"You can stay, short stuff..." Lyra mumbled, scooping up her tiny Pokémon in her arms.
She and Bellossom went around town checking on her mom, neighbors, and friends. The local Pokémon were scared to death, as were the people, but they seemed more inconvenienced than anything. The destroyed fans meant no electricity for the town.
"Hey! Let go of me you overgrown Rattata!"
Lyra turned to see her Typhlosion dragging a Team Rocket admin by their collar. Typholsion threw the man at Lyra's feet. The man's entire collar was burnt off, and his teal hair was singed.
"Proton..." Lyra grumbled, "What are you doing here?"
Proton smirked up at Lyra, "Ah...Champion Lyra! Lovely to see you again!"
Lyra rolled her eyes and kneeled down to get in Proton's face, "You tell your boss that I wanna see him. Enough is enough."
Proton grinned, "I would love to."
"Get out." Lyra growled.
Proton stood up and rushed off. As Lyra and her Pokémon began to clean up the remnants of Team Rocket's attack, a large Pidgeot approached the brunette. It offered the champion a piece of paper and took off once she accepted it.
The paper read:
Ruins of Alph. 11 pm. Come alone. And I mean, ALONE.
Lyra took a deep breath. She had an idea. A dangerous idea, but an idea nonetheless. She knew what Silver wanted. Lyra knew what she wanted. Maybe she could get through to him? Maybe she could figure out what his real plan was. It couldn't just be to get her attention, could it?
~~~
Lyra hugged her shoulders as she searched the ruins for Silver. The night air was chilly, and the ruins weren't even very comforting during the day. She was only now considering the danger she was walking into. She didn't think Silver would hurt her, but she didn't know him anymore.
The last time she saw him was on Victory Road. He confronted her about his father, mother, and the rest of Team Rocket. He was so angry that day. He was always generally angry with Lyra growing up, but he was livid that time. She hadn't seen him since. Well...until this all came about, that is.
Lyra stepped into one of the decaying buildings. She ran her fingers along some of the old inscriptions. They were too faded to read, but it could probably be figured out by someone who cared enough.
"So...why did you insist on seeing me?"
Lyra shuddered and turned to see Silver leaning in the doorway. He was alone as far as she could tell, but she saw that he had his Pokéballs on his belt. She was more alone than he was.
Lyra took a breath and smiled away her nerves, "Can't I just want to see an old friend?"
Silver raised an eyebrow, "I'm not sure that we even were friends."
Lyra frowned, "I thought we were...I wanted to be."
"What do you want?" Silver asked bluntly.
Lyra bit her lip and stepped towards Silver. Silver kept a watchful eye on the girl, watching as she tugged on his black jacket.
Silver gave a low chuckle and leaned his face close to Lyra's, "Don't pretend it's me you want..." he said softly.
Lyra resisted the urge to kiss him. Arceus, she wanted to kiss him. She could feel his breath on her lips.
Silver seemed to sense Lyra's inner turmoil and smirked, "Do you wanna kiss me, Pigtails?" He chuckled, "Even after what I did?"
Lyra shivered. Of course she was angry with Silver- He was hurting people and Pokémon all over Kanto and Johto. He came down twice as hard after their chat in Ilex Forest. She didn't understand why she still had feelings for him. She didn't know why she kept having thoughts about him. He was absolutely disgusting, but somehow she liked it. She'd been pushing down these feelings for weeks. It was time she put them to good use.
Lyra nodded, not being able to speak through the trance Silver was putting her under.
Silver smirked, "Is that so?" He asked, grabbing the sides of Lyra's face, "I thought you wanted the 'sweet' Silver back...How do I know you're not still looking for him?"
Lyra pulled herself out of her haze, "I-I..."
Silver leaned into Lyra's ear, "What could you possibly do to prove yourself?" He whispered.
Lyra thought for a minute. Upon reaching a conclusion, she blushed profusely. She refused to make eye contact as she slowly dropped to her knees.
Silver grinned devilishly, "Oh...You look good from down there."
Lyra fiddled with Silver's belt, "You don't look too bad, yourself..." she whispered.
Silver grabbed Lyra's chin and forced her head up, "Don't talk." He commanded.
Lyra bit her lip and nodded.
"Good girl."
~~~
Silver zipped up his pants and slouched down next to Lyra, "Fuck..." he mumbled, breathing heavily.
Silver looked over and noticed the odd face Lyra was making. He smirked and cupped Lyra's chin, "C'mon Pigtails...don't you want your kiss?"
Lyra swallowed and began breathing heavily.
"Good girl..." Silver cooed.
Lyra didn't say anything, which prompted Silver to speak again, "You can talk now."
"Yes, please kiss me..." She begged, scooting closer to him and pulling on his jacket.
Silver chuckled quietly and cupped Lyra's cheek with his hand. He leaned in and softly pressed his lips against hers. Dozens of Butterfree swarmed in Lyra's stomach. She'd been waiting for this kiss for years.
Silver bit Lyra's bottom lip as he pulled away. He had a hazy expression on his face for a few seconds, but he shook it off, cleared his throat, and looked away.
Lyra took his hand, "You okay?"
"Yeah," Silver said. He put his teasing smirk back on, "Are you okay? Am I everything you imagined?"
Lyra blushed, "And more..." she whispered.
Silver pressed his forehead against Lyra's, "Oh yeah?" He chuckled.
"Yeah." Lyra giggled, rubbing her and Silver's noses together affectionately.
Silver blushed and turned away again, "Are you...Do you...Need a place to go?"
Lyra smiled, "I'm staying in Violet City."
Silver nodded, "Oh."
Lyra ran her fingers through Silver's blood red hair, "I had a nice time...I really missed you..."
Silver blinked in surprise, "You did?" He asked, turning to face her.
Lyra tilted her head to the side, "Of course I did! I told you- I thought we were friends. I honestly thought I'd never see you again."
"Oh..."
Lyra nudged herself underneath Silver's arm and snuggled into his chest, "Yeah..." she mumbled, "We should do this again sometime! Maybe not somewhere this...dirty, though." She said, scrunching up her nose.
"Really?" Silver asked.
"You said you wanted me to be yours," Lyra said, "Here I am."
Silver smiled and kissed Lyra's forehead. He began to stand up and helped Lyra up as well.
"So um...bye." Silver coughed.
Lyra smiled and kissed Silver's cheek, "Goodnight, Silvey."
Silver blushed and brought his hand up to his cheek. He watched Lyra leave the ruins.
"Crap..." he grumbled.
Lyra walked back to Violet City, trying to remember which hotel she was staying at. She felt a presence behind her, and quickly looked over her shoulder. There was a large Feraligatr following her. Lyra rolled her eyes and stopped walking. She invited Feraligatr to walk with her, and she stroked the Pokémon's snout.
Feraligatr accompanied Lyra the rest of the way, and Lyra gave the Pokémon a goodbye belly rub before parting ways. Lyra went into the hotel and found her way to her suite.
She entered the suite and yawned, immediately being bombarded with questions:
"How'd it go?" Gold asked.
"What happened?" Blue questioned.
Lyra pressed her forehead against her Typhlosion's. The warmth of her Pokémon comforted her, "It went fine."
"Did he suspect you?" Gold asked.
"No."
"What happened?" Blue repeated.
Lyra cleared her throat.
"Ew." Gold said.
Lyra flopped down on her bed, "I liked it."
Blue rolled his eyes, "You're not doing this for fun."
Lyra sighed, "I know."
Red sat on the edge of Lyra's bed, "Did he tell you anything?"
Lyra groaned, "He's not gonna tell me Team Rocket's secrets on the first date!"
"How do you know he trusts you?"
"I think he's always trusted me," Lyra whispered, "I've always trusted him."
The boys made noises of distaste. Lyra say up and groaned. Typhlosion put his head in his trainer's lap. Lyra smiled and stroked her Pokémon's warm fur.
"I know he said that he's gone, but I think my sweet Silvey is still in there. I think he's still scared and lost..."
"You're delusional," Gold scoffed, "Now go brush your teeth you sinner.
