Gladion regretted everything. Moon had convinced him to come iceskating with her (apparently Hau was "busy" which he seemed to be a lot lately...) and he was regretting it. Hard.

"C'mon Gladion! Keep up!" Moon giggled skating in a circle around him.

Gladion's legs wobbled as he tried to keep his balance, "C'mon Gladion keep up" he mocked.

Moon tsked, "Oh Gladion...such weak insults"

"Oh Gladion...such weak insults"

Moon stopped circling Gladion and stopped in front of him, "Are you sure you're 16 and not 5?" She asked, rolling her eyes.

"Are you sure you're not my mom?" Gladion retaliated.

"Quite" Moon stated, skating away from her friend a bit and doing a twirl on the ice.

Gladion's feet slowly moved in opposite directions, forcing his legs to spread apart. In an attempt to right himself, he fell face first into the ice. A few people snickered.

He heard Moon skate up to him, laughing, "Are you okay, Edgelord?" She laughed.

Gladion brought his head up and glared at her, "Don't call me that" he said, attempting to get up. When he tried to balance himself on his feet, he fell again. Luckily, Moon caught him.

"How are you so good at this?" Gladion mumbled.

Moon shrugged, "Before I moved here, my dad and I used to ice skate all the time" she explained.

"Your dad?"

"Yeah...what did you expect that one day I just showed up?" Moon asked him teasingly, laughing.

"No...I just...what happened?"

"Divorce"

"Oh"

"Nah it's cool" Moon said, "My parents just fell out of love, is all"

Gladion mouthed an "Oh"

"Anyways," Moon said, changing the subject, "I guess I'm just good at it because I'm so awesome!"

Gladion rolled his eyes, "Sure"

Moon smirked at him and raised an eyebrow, "I guess you don't need my help then" she said smugly, skating away from Gladion.

"H-Hey! Wait! Don't leave me!" Gladion called after her.

Moon stopped abruptly and looked at Gladion over her shoulder.

Gladion blushed, looked down at the ice, and outstretched his arm to her, "Hold my hand?" He muttered.

Moon smirked, "What was that?"

Gladion made a growling noise in the back of his throat, "Hold my hand please..." he said slightly louder and clearer.

"Pardon?"

"For the love of Arceus Moon, please hold my hand!" Gladion yelled. He blushed a deep red as everyone on the ice looked at him.

Moon's ace displayed a slight pink color and she laughed and skated over to Gladion. She took his hand, "You're so edgy" she teased.

Gladion tried his best to hide his face, "Whatever...shut up..."

Moon kissed Gladion's cheek, "Come on Gladion...lets skate" she said gently.

Gladion grew an even deeper shade of red and nodded.

For the rest of the time, Gladion no longer fell on the ice, but it definitely didn't stop him from falling.
