MoonxGladion

"Hey Moon, could you do me a favor?" Gladion asked, looking down at Moon, who was feeding the foundation's Corsola.

"I'm kind of in the middle of the last favor you asked me to do, Gladion" Moon said, patting one of the Corsola on the head.

Gladion rolled his eyes and looked down at his clipboard, "Would you go into my room and grab Silvally's Pokéball for me?"

"You don't have it on you?"

Gladion shook his head and kneeled down next to Moon, examining the broken horn of one of the Corsola, "No. It makes the Corsola nervous"

"That's weird"

"Do you have your Silvally with you?"

"Well...no...I see your point" Moon sighed, standing up, "I'll run out there and get it"

"Thanks" Gladion mumbled, writing something down.

Moon rolled her eyes and ran over to the elevator. The elevator lowered down to the main floor of the Aether Foundation and Moon ran outside to the mansion where Gladion and his family resided.

Moon ran up the left staircase to Gladion's room. The room was a mess as usual; clothes and papers scattered about, bed unmade, and various cans of lemonade and soda adorned his nightstand. Moon searched the room for Silvally's Pokéball, finding it on Gladion's desk, next to the picture of him and her Moon had given Gladion in his birthday a few years back.

"There you are" Moon said to the Pokéball, picking it up and releasing the Pokémon inside.

Silvally blinked in surprise at the person who was not it's trainer. Moon pat the Pokémon's muzzle and looked back to the desk, which had papers scattered all over it.

"What are these?" Moon asked aloud, picking up a few of the papers, which were lined.

"They're not forms or anything...they look like letters?"

Silvally arched its neck over Moon's shoulder to get a look at the papers.

"Well...kind of. They look unfinished, right?" Moon said, turning to Gladion's Pokémon for confirmation. The Pokémon nodded.

"This one looks like a letter to Lillie" Moon observed, skimming the letter which said the usual, "Miss you" "Love you" type of thing. Moon found it odd that he kept these, since Lillie came back from Kanto about a year ago.

Moon flipped trough various drafts of letters to Lillie before finding one addressed to her.

"This is weird..." Moon mumbled, attempting to read the words on the paper.

'Dear Moon,' were the only legible words on the paper. Any other words were crossed out or erased. Moon eventually gave up on attempting to read the letter and flipped to another paper. This one read, 'Why can't I tell her how I feel?" in capital letters.

Silvally realized what was on the paper and ripped it from Moon's hands. It held the stack of letter drafts in its mouth, holding it high out of Moon's reach.

Moon narrowed her eyes at the Pokémon, "Who's he talking about?" She asked.

Silvally blinked in surprise.

"Who is she?" Moon asked, reaching for the papers.

Silvally sighed in annoyance and made its way to the door. Moon chased after it, "Hey wait!"

Silvally patiently waited by the doors of the mansion, waiting to be let out.

"Who was he talking about? Who is she?" Moon asked over and over, her tone getting getting angrier and angrier every time she asked it.

Silvally rolled its eyes as it and Moon walked back to the Conservation area where Gladion waiting. As the elevator rose, Moon asked a final time, "Who is she?"

Silvally just shook its head as Gladion came into view. He was standing by the elevator, waiting for his partner and his friend.

Gladion narrowed his eyes at Silvally, "What's in your mouth?" He asked. Silvally stepped off the elevator and gave the papers to Gladion. It nodded its head in Moon's direction and walked away, leaving the two trainers alone.

Moon stepped off the elevator and towards Gladion, "Who is she?" She asked the boy, crossing her arms and narrowing her eyes.

Gladion gave the girl a confused look, "What?"

Moon gestured to the letters, "Who is she?" She hissed.

Gladion looked down at the stack of papers, the first one being the letter Moon was referencing. Gladion's face grew red.

Gladion flipped through all the papers, also seeing the draft addressed to Moon, "Y-You read these?" He asked.

Moon nodded gruffly, "Who is she?"

"Moon-"

"-Is she pretty?"

"Moon-"

"-I bet she's not even that pretty"

"Moon!" Gladion yelled.

Moon lowered her eyebrows, "What?" She snapped.

Gladion placed a hand on his hip, "Why were you going through my stuff?"

Moon hesitated, "How was your day?" She asked, attempting to change the subject.

"Moon" Gladion pressed, folding the papers and shoving them in his back pocket.

Moon threw her hands up in surrender, "Okay I was curious! You just left them lying around for anyone to read"

"They were hidden underneath letters to Lillie"

"Same difference" Moon huffed.

Gladion groaned.

"So who is she?" Moon asked again, pressing for answers, "Do you love her?"

Gladion blushed and rubbed the back of his neck, "Well..."

"You love her" Moon concluded, heart dropping.

"Are you jealous?" Gladion asked, smirking.

"No" Moon lied, "So who is she? Acerola? Mallow? Lana? Hau? It's Hau isn't it!" Moon guessed.

"Why would it be Hau?"

"What, are you too good for Hau?"

Gladion rubbed his temple, "Moon" he groaned, "You're so bothersome"

"Whatever" Moon tsked, "Have fun with Hau"

"It's not Hau!"

"Then who is it?!" Moon yelled, tears brimming her eyes, "Is she prettier than me? Smarter than me? Stronger than me?" Moon stepped towards Gladion so she was in his face, "Why do you like her and not me?"

Gladion chuckled and shook his head, "You're stupid" he said.

"That's why you don't like me, right?"

Gladion smiled and brought his hand up the Moon's cheek, "Moon," He cooed, "You can't honestly believe that there would ever be somebody other than you"

Moon blushed and blinked in surprise, "Um...I don't...know..."

Gladion wiped away a tear that had left Moon's eye, "It always has been, and always will be, you Moon. I promise"

Moon blushed furiously and Gladion chuckled at the sight, "So cute..." he whispered.

Moon blushed harder and pushed the boy away, "Shut up!"

Gladion smiled. He leaned in towards Moon to where their lips were millimeters apart. He whispered, "Go through my stuff again and I won't hesitate to punish you"

Moon felt like her face was on fire, but her body was frozen as the boy turned and walked away.

Gladion's own face was burning, and his heart was racing.

"Why did I have to say it like that?" He mumbled, mentally kicking himself, "Of all the ways I could have told her..."
