Rosa shivered as she stared out the window. The blizzard outside trapped her inside her best friend's house, which normally wouldn't have been a problem. But recently, ever since their journey, Rosa began having feelings for her friend. Their journey ended a few months ago, and the feelings hadn't gone away like Rosa had hoped.

"Rosy Posy?" Hugh sang, trying to get the girl's attention, "You look cold."

Rosa turned in her seat at Hugh's desk. She saw the boy on his bed, snuggled like a Swadloon in his large comforter. His scruffy blue hair poked out from the covers and his red eyes seemed to glow in the dark room.

Rosa shrugged and turned back to the window.

Hugh sighed, "C'mere."

"I'm fine, Hughy."

Hugh pouted. He was silent for awhile. Rosa suddenly felt the chair she was sitting in being dragged away from the desk.

"W-What are you doing?" Rosa sputtered.

"You're coming to bed," Hugh said, "You're shivering."

Rosa blushed as Hugh turned the chair so she was facing him. He offered her his hands, which she hesitantly took. Hugh pulled her into his bed and wrapped the comforter around her shoulders.

"There," Hugh said gently, "Do you feel warmer now?"

Rosa's entire face was red, "Very warm..."

Hugh smiled, "Good. Let me in."

Hugh squirmed his way into the comforter with Rosa. He pulled the cover over both their heads and turned on his Xtransceiver. The small amount of light allowed the pair to just be able to see each other. Thanks to the new light, Hugh noticed Rosa's redness.

"Are you hot?" Hugh asked, "Why are you so red Rosy Posy?"

Rosa felt like her face was somehow getting redder, "I-I..."

Hugh suddenly took Rosa's hand, "You feel cold...are you feeling okay?"

Rosa grabbed Hugh's shirt. Hugh raised his eyebrows, "What's going-"

Rosa pulled on Hugh's shirt and pressed their lips together. She resisted the urge to devour him and pushed him away. She look a few labored breaths as she looked into his eyes.

Hugh's jaw felt like it was on the floor, "U-Uh...you kissed me."

"Yeah..." Rosa confirmed.

"Did you mean to do that?"

Rosa chuckled, "Yes..."

"Why?"

"Hughy..."

Hugh looked deep into Rosa's eyes. He said nothing.

Rosa sighed and looked away, "I guess I kinda like you..."

"How long?"

Rosa gripped Hugh's hand, "Awhile..."

"How long?"

Rosa blinked away tears, "Since our journey...towards the end..."

Hugh chuckled, "I've got you beat."

Rosa looked up at her friend, "Huh?"

Hugh blushed and smirked, "I've liked you since we were kids..."

Rosa took her hands and squished Hugh's cheeks, "Really?!" She gasped.

Hugh furrowed his eyebrows together and put his hands on Rosa's wrists, "Yes...stop squishing me..."

Rosa giggled through her tears and pulled Hugh into another kiss. They both smiled into the kiss and fell back into the bed, staying warm during the blizzard.
