Rosa shut the door behind her as quietly as possible. She'd snuck out of the house about an hour ago to talk to her friend Hilda about something. Rosa listened for awhile, wondering if she'd woken up her boyfriend, Hugh.

When she heard nothing, she let out a small sigh of relief and walked up the stairs into the room her and Hugh shared. She froze in the doorway when she saw Hugh awake, with the bedside lamp on, reading a book. Once he realized Rosa was in the room, he looked up at her from his book.

"Oh. Hello Rosa. Have fun sneaking out?" He hissed.

Rosa rubbed her forehead, "Oh no...Hughy I-"

"-Where were you?"

"Hilda's"

That must not have been the answer Hugh was expecting, "Hilda's?" He asked.

Rosa nodded.

Hugh narrowed his eyes, "Why were you at Hilda's?"

Rosa's mouth felt dry and she tried to speak, but couldn't find the words.

"You're not lying, are you?" Hugh asked suspiciously.

"No Hughy! I just..." Rosa trailed off, tears brimming her eyes.

Hugh expression softened, "Rosa? What's wrong?" He asked worriedly.

"I can't tell you!" She cried, laying down on the bed.

"Why?"

"You'll leave me!" She sobbed.

"What...Why would I leave you?"

Rosa hugged her pillow to her chest as she sat up, "I don't know...because" she said, sniffling.

Hugh placed a hand on Rosa's thigh, "Rosa, I'm not going to leave you..."

"You don't know that!" The girl argued.

"I do know! C'mon Rosa, I love you" Hugh soothed, pulling his girlfriend closer to him. He placed multiple kisses on her neck.

Rosa squirmed away from Hugh, "Stop it...that's what got me into this in the first place" she whispered.

Hugh analyzed his girlfriend, "What did you..." Anger suddenly boiled inside of him, "Did you cheat?"

Rosa looked surprised, "Cheat?! Hughy, no! I would never!"

"Then what is it?" Hugh growled.

Rosa fiddled with her hair, taking it out of its usual buns. She twirled strands of her hair nervously as she spoke, "Um...you know how at dinner the other night I had water instead of a drink?"

Hugh's anger resided and replaced itself with confusion, "Yeah...that was weird...you normally love a good drink"

Rosa blushed deeply, "Well I think...I'm gonna quit drinking for awhile..."

Hugh blinked in surprise, "Really? For how long?"

"Um...nine months?" Rosa said, smiling sheepishly.

*click*

"R-Rosa...are you..."

"Pregnant? Yeah, kind of"

Hugh sat silently for what felt like hours, processing the words that just came out of Rosa's mouth.

"Are you gonna break up with me now?" Rosa asked sadly.

Hugh shook himself back to reality, "No! Of course not, Rosa!"

Rosa furrowed her eyebrows, "You're not upset?"

"Why would I be upset?"

"Because...I've ruined your life" The girl cried, shoving her face in her pillow.

"Well if anything I ruined my life..." Hugh muttered, "But my life's not ruined" he argued.

Rosa looked up at her boyfriend and sniffled, "It's not?"

"Of course not" Hugh cooed, pulling his girlfriend onto his lap so she was facing him.

Rosa played with tufts of Hugh's hair, "So...you think we can handle this?"

Hugh twirled the ends of Rosa's hair, "Definitely. I mean, who stopped Team Plasma?"

Rosa thought about it for a few seconds, "Hilda?"

Hugh rolled his eyes, "The second time" he clarified.

"Oh! Me" She said.

"And who helped?" Hugh asked smugly.

Rosa giggled and ruffled his hair, "What's your point, Hughy?"

"My point is, we've been through so much together already. I think we can do this" Hugh said with determination.

"The only issue would be if the kid turns out to be like you when we were kids" Hugh teased.

"I was not that bad!" Rosa argued.

"You put gutter water in our teachers water bottle"

"It was your idea!"

The couple laughed at the memory they shared- the memory that kept them bound.

"Rosa, you know I'm gonna be here. I won't leave you" Hugh promised.

"Promise?" Rosa asked, holding up her pinky.

Hugh laughed and sealed the pinky promise.

Anyways this may be the last Sequel chapter I do for awhile (Okay I'm lying I have one more idea but then that's it) since Grace_Everdeen is way better at writing Sequel than me go check that out
