Reaction: 5 Days of Summer? Really? Well...the Summer Camp was like for 5 days, so I guess this makes sense. I mean...the Summer Camp didn't last for only 5 seconds, right? Maybe they can have a dance group called 5 Days of Summer. Wait...Ash is a terrible dancer....

Points For: Again...they're all friends.

Points Against: Again...love triangle. Only two will prevail. And Ash is a terrible dancer.

Reaction: This makes sense. Damian abandoned Charmander. Paul abandoned Chimchar. Ash took care of both Pokémon. Amazingly enough, the two Pokémon are Ash's only fully evolved Fire type starter. Coincidence? I think not.

Points For: They're both heartless-ish, although Paul becomes a bit nicer towards the end of the DP series. Damian, however, stayed as a jerk.

Points Against: It's unclear if they'll ever meet. And even if they meet, it's not certain they'll like each other.

Reaction: Well...I guess this ship is okay-ish. This is one of the many 'Ash-is-so-brave-that's-why-I-like-him' incidences. I don't ship it, though.

Points For: They seem to get along really well. Also, Anabel does have a canonical crush on Ash. They are also both good trainers. And when they had their battle, Anabel didn't take it easy against Ash in spite of her feelings.

Points Against: At first...Ash did think Anabel was a guy because of her outside appearance. Also, Anabel has a lot of competition, especially the many girls who have liked Ash for being brave. It is also unclear if Ash would ever visit the Battle Salon again.

Points For: They both have Absol, although it is doubtful that Drew can mega evolve his Absol. There is a chance that they will meet at some Absol convention. Eh...not really, but we never know.

Points Against: It's uncertain that they will meet. Also, Astrid seems older compared to Drew, but age doesn't matter...right? Also, I doubt Astrid will decide to even watch a Pokémon Contest. But hey, I'm not her.

Reaction: Love square?! Ooh. I don't really get where the acceptance thing shows up. In an Amourshipping point of view, we can say that Clemont likes Serena, but she likes Ash, and Misty likes Ash, but Ash likes Serena. We can also say this in a Pokeshipping point of view where Serena will have to accept that Ash and Misty like each other, and Clemont will help Serena accept that.

Points For: Uh...there's a high chance of something happening here? I don't know.

Points Against: This is too messy, honestly. Also, we will never know who will end up with who unless the anime writers decide to give Ash a girlfriend. Also, we'll never know who they will choose.

Points For: Conway would be happy...kinda. If Dawn decides to be with someone else, he can have this substitute.

Points Against: In the end, a Ditto is still a Pokémon, even if it might be able to transform into a human. Also...Conway might still get lonely.

Reaction: My NOTP. Sorry to whoever ships this. However, if you do like this, I respect you for that. That's my reaction.

Updated reaction (12/14/16): I honestly don't hate this ship as much as I used to. I think it's an OK ship, but it is not my favorite May ship.

Points For: May pretty much forced Ash to bring her along in his journeys. They also have similar personalities. They both love food. The episode 'The Bicker The Better'. Ash serves as a mentor to May, and May does have a similar battle style as Ash. And...they are friends. And they have that ribbon they shared, right?

Points Against: May decides to travel to Johto to join her rivals instead of continuing to travel with Ash, although this is more of a development standpoint rather than 'I like Drew more so yeah.' After May's return during the Wallace Cup, we don't really know what happens to May while she's in Johto. And that's why we have fanfiction. And if May does like Ash, she would have a lot of competition. But hey, if she does lose that battle, she still has Drew. Right? Right?
