"WAKE UP BLACKPAW." I opened my eyes to Firestar pawing me in my side.

"Whats wrong?"

"Their's a fire in camp, get out of camp while I check and see if their is anyone else stuck." Firestar dashed out of the apprentice den and I fallowed closely behind. The camp was on fire. I didnt even have time to think before one of the tree's came trembling down. "Blackpaw." Firestar pushed me out of the way of the tree but the tree fell on top of him. "This is my last life Blackpaw. You will be leader of Thunderclan. See starclan after the clan returns home. Now go, before you die to." Firestar's eyes shined only a little and then it was gone.

"No Firestar." Another tree came trembling down. I dodged it. I had no time to try and pull him out of there. "Good bye Firestar." I raced into the forest.

Before I reached my clan at fortress, a huge down pore thundered on the ground making it hard to move. Once I reached Fortress, all the cats was huddling under the huge tree. What am I going to tell them about Firestar. Behind me I could hear faint voices. I turned around to see Shadowclan and Windclan. My friend Starpaw padded toward me.

"Blackpaw, this is bad."

"What is bad?"

"Our leaders are all dead." A Roar of thunder shook the ground. Shadowclan, Windclan raced toward the tall tree for shelter.

"We should fallow them."
"Ok." Me and Starpaw raced after them.

"Blackpaw, were is Firestar?" Graystripe padded over to me.

"Um.."

"Blackpaw, this is series, were is he?"

"Hey, does anyone know if Firestar is still alive.If hes still alive then we can still rebuild or clans without having so many new leader's." The meow came from Shadowclan.

"Blackpaw knows if Firestar is alive or died." Everyone stated to stare at me. "So Blackpaw. Is he died or alive?"

"...," I didnt know what to say. I didnt want to believe that Firestar was dead, But if I dont tell them then what will happen to me. " Firestar...," I cant tell them.

"Leave him alone. He's a new apprentice. He may be in shock from the fire. We must wait till he calms down." Lionblaze steps in front of me to block the eyes of the other clan. Once the cats stop pressuring me about Firestar, I thanked Lionblaze. Then I ran out into the rain.
