So I was going through some things and I found an old folder with out of my old writing. The first one was a poem that I wrote about a small toy. I believe that I wrote it for an middle school LA Assignment. I can't really remember. I hope that you like it.

A small thing

I used to play with

My little toy

I played every day

I dressed you up

I fixed you

I put you to bed

It was my way

My young friend

I still have

I will keep you

Forever and always

You helped me when I was down

By your smile

I will never forget

The power of you will never fade

I memories of me playing with you

I will remember

The way I put you to bed

I put you in your pj

I opened the roof to your room

Your room the way we both liked.

I put you in your bed

I made sure you were nice and cozy

I read to you and sang to you

I treated you like my own

Everything you wanted I have

My tiny friend

We chatted

We horses around

You were always there

There when I was away

Away in a depressing world

I will never forget

I will forevermore remember.

My mini friend

I will love

And have

And keep

For forever and always.
