Blue had eventually caught up to Red, Red had now calmed down although his face still felt warm.

  They arrived at the restaurant "Time to try some of this famous pinap juice" Blue said excitedly "Do you want to order anything to eat from here too?" he asked Red.

  "I'm fine for now, but you can knock yourself out" Red responded, finding them a table to sit at.

  Blue ordered their drinks and himself something small to eat, he'd been hungry since he hadn't eaten a lot all day, he sat down across from red "So, are you enjoying it here?"

  "Yeah, the islands are beautiful and there's so many Pokémon here I haven't seen before!" Red replied cheerfully.

  "That's good, I'm enjoying it here too," Blue said, unintentionally staring at Red with a soft smile until he was interrupted by a young girl and her Bounsweet,
  she placed their drinks on the table and a plate of food in front of Blue.

  "Enjoy!" she said to the two of them and went about her duties.

  "This pinap juice really is the best" Red exclaimed.

  "It sure is" Blue replied, finishing his food. Soon after he paid and the two were on their way, they had to make it back to the port to get to the ferry back to Akala Island before it got too late.

  When they finally got back to Akala Island it was around 6pm, they decided they would sit on the beach for a little while before dinner.
The air was warm but with a slight cool breeze and the beach was practically empty at this time so Red and Blue found a place to sit.

  "So..." Red started "Are you going to tell me what bothers you?" Blue thought for a moment,

  "I'll tell you if you let me see more of that notebook" he grinned.

  Red wasn't comfortable with the idea but he wanted to help his friend so was willing, he sighed "sure..."

  Blue was actually a little surprised he agreed but took a deep breath in "Okay... I lied..."

  "What?" Red was confused by his starting choice of words,

  "Well... It's kinda your fault... A little... These dreams I have... They started not too long after you left" Blue inhaled deeply and his voice got quieter "And I had so much pressure on me from people like Gramps to do something which is why I took up the job as a gym leader and at first I enjoyed it, I really did... But I felt trapped, I had nowhere else to go and... No one there... You weren't there..." Blue looked down into the sand, Red was sat speechless.

  Small drops of water hit the sand that fell from Blues face until he felt a hand on his shoulder, Red pulled him into his chest and let Blue cry.

  "I-I really do regret leaving without saying a thing... I did care for you, I... I still do, very much.." He looked up at the setting sky and held Blue a little tighter 'I really messed up huh...' He thought.

  "I really.. Missed you..." Blue spoke quietly under his sobs "... Whenever I visited your mom a part of me always wished you would be there too.."

  Red put his hand on Blues head, his fingers brushed through his hair, pulling him ever so slightly closer. He rested his chin on Blues head, holding back his own tears "I'm sorry, for everything".

  The two men stayed like this for a little while, Blue was comforted by Red's scent as he still had his face in his chest, Blue felt a small sense of happiness, he felt.. loved.

  Red's grip let go of him "C'mon, we need to grab dinner before it gets too late" he stood up and smiled at Blue, holding his hand out to help him up.
"Or, we could order room service" Red continued, he just wanted to make sure Blue was okay after the emotional evening.

  After they got back to their room the two ordered their food, Red turn on the T.V. and decided to put a documentary about the Alola region on that was being aired, he also pulled out a book he had been reading and lay back on the bed while he waited for their food.

  Blue was outside on the balcony, he decided to call his sister.
  "Hey Daisy, how are things over there?

  "Everything is fine, the more important question is how are you and Red?"

  Blue shut the balcony door so Red couldn't hear them "We're fine, things have been getting better.." he hesitated a little and went silent.

  "But?" Daisy interrupted,

  "Gah, I don't know... I think I think I might be... I think I'm in l-"

  She cut him off again "Blue" she was gentle and understanding with her brother "If you like him you should totally ask him out!" she suddenly shouted.

  "SHHHHhh Daisy please, not so loud!"

  She laughed "I'm sorry, I'm just happy for you! Now you need to be happy for yourself!"

  "I know, I just don't know what to do.."

  "Just do your best and you'll do fine"

  Just then Red opened the door startling Blue "Didn't mean to scare you, but the foods here"

  "Daisy I have to go"

  "Good luck!!" she shouted back at him.

  "Yeah yeah, see ya"

  Blue walked back inside and sighed "So what was that about?" Red asked, Blue almost instantly blushed.

  "N-nothing, just checking up on her, now let's eat"

  Red just smiled at him "Sure, let's eat".

  Red finished first so decided to shower and when he was done he put on his pajama pants and came into the room, Blue instantly became flushed, it became harder for him to contain his feelings, and seeing Red without his shirt on, he loved it.

  Blue took his shower and got into some shorts and he saw Red's shirt on the side, the same one he had worn throughout the day. He thought for a moment and ultimately decided to put it on 'Will he mind? He'll probably think it's weird' he thought but he didn't care at that point, it smelled like Red and that made him happy.

  When he came out Blue's choice of clothing surprised Red a little "Uh, a nice shirt you got there" he said to Blue

  "Oh, this?" Blue tugged on the shirt "Yeah I know" Red just laughed and Blue got onto the bed next to him.
"SO," Blue said rather loud "You need to show me what's in that notebook of yours" he grinned slyly.

  Red just signed "Fine... But you have to promise not to laugh at me, it's actually quite embarrassing for me"

  "I promise" Blue responded.

  Red pulled out the book and hesitantly turned to what was one of his favourite pages.
  He turned it so Blue could see and put his head in his hand.

  Blue was looking at a drawing of his younger self, he blushed lightly, he was flattered "When... When did you do this?"

  Red still with his head in his hand "When I was in Sinnoh... It was uh... A while ago"

  Blue put his hands over Red's and closed the book "Can you, tell me more about what you did while you were away?"

  "If, that's what you want?" Blue nodded and lay himself down.
Red lay down too, he stared at the ceiling as he began to talk oh his journey through the different regions.

  They ended up talking into the early hours of the morning so decided to call it a night.

  After 20 minutes or so, blue whispered "Red... Are you still awake?"

  "mmhmmr what is it" Red was half asleep

  "I-Ummm, C-could you put your arm... Over me again" Blues face blushed in the darkness, there was silence for a little while.
  Then Blue heard Red turning over and felt his arm wrap around him, he smiled and closed his eyes 'Tonight, I'll sleep well... Now that you're here' Blue thought and peacefully drifted off.
