The clock was nearing noon by the time Blue woke, his eyes hadn't quite opened yet but he knew that his head wasn't exactly on his pillow, it wasn't soft enough, but was warmer.

  'Wait' Blue thought, he opened his eyes properly, letting his eyes adjust to the sunshine that was creeping in. Once he could get a good look he could see that his head was on Red's bare chest, he also had his arm around his waist.

  Blue didn't move but he definitely blushed, his eyes followed the shape of Red's body, he didn't want to get up, not just yet.

  He moved his head ever so slightly and as carefully as he could so he didn't wake Red, just then Red's arm held him tighter 'Crap' Blue thought, he didn't realise his arm was under him.

  Blue just wanted to hear Red's heartbeat and a few moments later Red's body calmed again, it was obvious he was still sleeping. Blue listened, each beat was gentle and calm, Blue closed his eyes again and let out a gentle sigh of relief enjoying the moment 'I could get used to this' He thought falling back into a light sleep.

  It was over an hour later and Blue woke up again, and this time decided he had to get up, he had no idea what time it was but rubbed his eyes yawning.

  He sat up gently, trying not to disturb Red but when he did so Red's other arm came over and latched onto Blue's waist, Blue became red almost instantly, he'd never been held like this before.

  Red groaned, his voice raspy as he spoke "ghhh... What time is it?" as he held on a little tighter, this made Blue melt inside.

  Blue had to reach for his phone, Red hadn't let go "Uhh, 1:17" Blue said.

Red groaned "I suppose it's time to get up then.." he trailed off, still not moving.

  Blue laughed softly and then shook Red "C'MON! I already missed breakfast, I'm not missing lunch too!"

  "Can't I have 5 more minutes?"

  As much as Blue wanted to stay like this he was definitely hungry, his stomach growled "I'll take that as a no then... fine" and with that Red sat himself up and stretched.

  They got themselves ready for what was left of the day and headed to the restaurant.

  "You'd better hurry up and finish, I know where we're going today!" Blue exclaimed,

  Red has a mouthful of food so let out a muffled "Huh?"

  "I'm not telling but I know you'll enjoy it" This made Red suspicious, it was a little odd, but Red just shrugged and agreed to go.

  Blue had dragged red into HeaHea city, it wasn't too far from the resort,    
  Red wondered what they might do, he knew about the Mantine surfing here, but Red couldn't surf "Hmm.." Red was stumped.

  "This way!" Blue pointed to the entrance of a route.

  "Lead the way" Red responded, following behind Blue.

  They didn't have to walk too much longer it seemed, Blue stopped at a small opening Are you ready? You too Pikachu!" Red and Pikachu exchanged confused expressions and Blue called out Eevee, he gestured for them to follow him.

  They came to a small clearing, Red looked around at all the "Pikachu!" Red exclaimed.

  "That's right, this is Pikachu valley" Blue smiled, Red's face glowed, he'd never seen so many in one place before.

  He definitely wanted to draw while he was here "Hmm, Pikachu just stay there a second"

  "Pika?" Red took off his cap and placed it on Pikachu's head.

  "Perfect, it'll be easy enough to spot you now"

  "Pika!" Pikachu squealed and ran off the play with Eevee and other Pikachu.

  Red went over to a Pikachu that was alone, as he approached it seemed a little scared of him.
  He sat on the grass in front of the Pikachu putting his hand out in front of its face "Hey there, there's no reason the be scared".

  The Pikachu hesitantly sniffed Red's hand then softly placed its cheek in his hand, Red's face beamed and he pets the Pikachu.

  Blue watched from a distance and couldn't help but smile himself 'Gosh, he's way too cute' he thought, he put his head in his hands "Aughh, I'm such an idiot, why can't I ju-" Blue battle with himself but was interrupted.

  "Blue... Are you okay?" it was Red.

  "Y-yeah, just thinking out loud" he laughed nervously,

  "You know you can talk to me if something is bothering you" Red responded, sitting down beside him in the grass.

  "I know, it's nothing, don't worry yourself"

  Red just sighed "Only if you're sure"
  
  "Positive".

  Red took out his notebook, he fixed his attention on the group of Pikachu playing with his own and Eevee, they were all having so much fun, Red just had to capture it.

  Just then his book was pushed upwards in his hands when he lifted it he saw the same Pikachu from earlier, he just smiled and pet it.

  "Looks like you've made a new buddy, Pikachu's gonna be jealous" Blue laughed.

  Red just rolled his eyes then put his attention back on the Pikachu Why don't you play with the others?" He said softly but the creature was hesitant "Hmm, Pikachu!" Red called out, his own Pikachu came running over with Eevee and the rest following "This little Pikachu needs your help, it's a little shy but would love to play with you all"

  "Pika-!" Red's Pikachu said joyfully, he encouraged the Pikachu to join him with the others.

  Slowly but surely it did, and ended up enjoying itself so much, Red was happy for it.

  A few hours had passed and red had drawn the Pikachu and Eevee playing, his own Pikachu was now tired so decided that was enough for him.

  Red had to wake Blue who had fallen asleep on the grass beside him "Huh?"
  "Pikachu and Eevee are pretty tired now, do you want to head back?"

  "Sure, if you're done" Blue yawned, Red nodded.
  They said their goodbyes to all the Pikachu and Red took his cap back.

  When they arrived back at the resort they saw the man Blue helped with the Pyukumuku, he stopped them.  
  "Hello, again young man! Thank you again for your help and to say thank you I want to invite you and your friends to a party"

  "Party?" Blue questioned,

  "Yes! An event is being held on the beach this evening starting at 7pm when the sun is down so feel free to drop by, anyone is welcome!" the man exclaimed.

  "Sure thing, we'll definitely consider it, thanks!"

  The two ate and then went back to their room, they still had time to kill so Red decided that he would read some more, he was enjoying the book a lot, Pikachu lay to rest on his stomach.

  Blue sat next to him, and put the TV on 'Pokémon and you', Blue wasn't sure what this program was about but decided to watch anyway.

  "Thank you" Red spoke up,

  "Huh?" Blue wasn't sure why Red was thanking him.

  "For today, thanks for taking me to Pikachu Valley, I enjoyed it very much"
Red smiled at him, Blue getting a little flustered.

  "O-oh, it's fine, no need to thank me"
Red went back to reading his book, still smiling.
  Blue looked at the expression on his lips for a moment, he couldn't stop thinking about that morning, he snapped himself out of it and tried to pay attention to the TV.

  When the time came the two set off for the beach, they were greeted by people they hadn't even met before   
  "Gosh, everyone is so nice here!" Blue said, "Anyway, I'm going to get a drink, you want anything Red?"

  "Sure, just make it two of whatever you get" Red responded.

  While Blue left to get drinks a couple of young teens came over to Red, they recognised him, asked him a few questions, and got a picture with him.
Blue came back just as he was saying goodbye to them.

  "You even have fans way out here huh" Blue laughed handing Red his drink "I warn you, it is alcoholic but you won't taste it, it just tastes like berries!"

  Red tried it and to his surprise, it did only taste like berries.

  Some time passed, more drinks were drunk.

People talked, sang, and danced throughout the night.

  Red had spoken to a few more people who recognised him, Blue found himself dancing with a small group of people.

  When Red was finished talking to a couple he looked for Blue in the last spot he saw him, but couldn't see him anywhere. He walked around a bit calling his name and still got nothing.
Red was in a slight panic now, he looked everywhere until he came to a quiet part of the beach.
There were some large rocks so Red decided to check, just in case.

  Sure enough, he found blue, he was sat in the sand with his head on his knees, as Red approached closer he could hear what sounded like 'Crying, is he crying? Why?' Red thought to himself.
  Red went over to him and knelt in front of Blue, putting his hands on his shoulders "Blue! What's wrong... Please... You can tell me" Blue looked up at him, his eyes were red and wet, seeing this Red just pulled him into his arms and held him.
"Blue, please.."

  Red heard a small laugh and a sniffle come from Blue.

  "Y'know, it's silly.."

  "What is?"

  Blue put his arms around Red "I've been beating myself up about it... I've been so, confused..."

Red was confused himself.

  "Red... We were friends, we used to be together all the time... And then we weren't... And now? Now I don't know..." Blue began to cry harder, tears heavier, soaking red's shirt where Blues face was.
  "Since you came back, things have felt different, I've felt different... Now when I'm with you I have all kinds of new feelings I didn't know I even had and they're eating me up from the inside.." He sighed "This isn't easy for me at all... I've never really... Not like this... But listen, Red, you matter to me... A lot.."

  There was a silence, Red was still holding onto Blue and didn't want to let him go, he knew where this was going, he's felt the same about Blue for a long time "Red, I... I..."
