"I love you" Blue finally got out, he let out a sigh of relief into Red's chest, Red held onto him tighter not saying a word

  Once Blue had calmed down Red loosened his grip so he could look at him, Red ran his hand under Blue's chin and lifted his head to face him and then placed his hands on Blue's cheeks and wiped away what tears were left with his thumbs.

  He got closer to Blue's ear and softly said ".. I love you too" sending chills through Blue. Red brought his face back in front of Blue's and smiled softly at him before carefully leaning in, he pressed his lips against Blue's,    

  Blue didn't know what to think, his mind was racing but he loved it.

  Red broke away, and the two just stared at each other, both of them flustered, this might have been their first kiss but Blue was desperate for more, without saying anything he grabbed Red's shirt and pulled him back to him for more, causing himself to fall back into the sand, Red above him as their lips desperately locked again.

  The two were swept up in their passion but had to break apart for air, almost panting Red got off him and sat on the sand next to Blue.

  Blue spoke up "H-how long have you... You-known?"

  Red became embarrassed "I uhh..." Red looked down at the sand "I've liked you for a long time... A really long time, I couldn't pinpoint it..."

  Blue was actually a little surprised "Wow... Are we talking before you left... Or after?..."

  "Before..."

  "Pssh, why? I was such a jerk to you, you didn't deserve it"

  "I.. I've just always been drawn to you.." Red responded nervously,

  Blue put his hand on Red's thigh and smiled "Can't say I've liked you like this as long but these past few days have been insane for me" Blue just laughed at himself looking up at the star-strewn sky and smiled.

  Blue stood up and stretched "Are you okay Blue?"

  "Yeah, think I'm gonna take a dip in the ocean"

  this took a few seconds for Red to process "Wait, what? BLUE?!" at this point blue was halfway down the beach.

  Red practically jumped up to try and stop him but he couldn't catch up in time, Blue was now knee-deep in seawater while Red shouted at him from the shore.

  "Blue, you're going to catch a cold!"

  "I'll be fine! You should join me!"

  "I'm not coming in now, it's late and it'll be cold!"

  "Bleh" Blue responded, using his foot he kicked up a big splash of water at Red.

  "You've just made a big mistake" Red grinned, giving in.

  "Oh, crap" Blue laughed, Red came in after him kicking up water himself to get Blue back.

   Blue tried to avoid it but ended up falling backward instead "Man down, I've been defeated!"

  Red just rolled his eyes and put his hand out to Blue and pulled him up and into his embrace,
  Red held Blue for a while under the bright moonlight that rippled around them in the gentle waves.

  "You matter to me a lot too" Red spoke, as he let go of Blue, a warm smile on his face "C'mon, let's call it a night" Red carefully slipped his hand into Blue's and led him out of the water and back towards the resort.  

  Blue was too flustered to really answer but wasn't going to complain anyway, looking down at his hand in Red's made him feel all fuzzy.

  They got back to their room "You can use the shower first since you're practically drenched after falling in the water" Red laughed.

  "Psht, yeah yeah" Blue replied and rolled his eyes making his way to the bathroom.

  Red took his and Blue's shoes out to the balcony to dry in the warm air. He decided he would sit out there and wait for Blue to finish so he didn't make anything in the room wet too, he sat at a small table at the other side of the balcony, Pikachu came out after him and jumped into his lap, happy to see him since he stayed behind while Red and Blue went out.

  "Pika!" Pikachu cheerful squealed, Red smiled at him and pet him gently while waiting for Blue.

  "I'm done!" Red heard Blue shout a little while later, giving Pikachu one last pet he stood up and made his way to shower.

  Blue threw himself onto the bed 'I still can't believe it, he actually... Likes me too!' Blue's mind raced 'We even kissed' his face flushed pink at the thought "Ahhh" he rolled onto his stomach and there his face into a pillow.

  Once Red had finished up in the shower he got into bed himself, looking at his phone for the time '11:26' "It's pretty late, I'm going to sleep so I'm up at a decent time tomorrow" Red laughed a little as the thought of the earlier that morning came to him.

  "Yeah, I should too, I don't want to miss out on breakfast again" Blue laughed in response, then silence, after confessing to each other it became a little awkward, neither knew exactly what they should say to the other.

  Red had already laid down, he was faced away from Blue which disappointed him, he sighed facing the opposite way too 'Gahh, I've just made everything awkward now, what do I do now? We aren't technically together... But now I'm completely clueless...' he thought.

  After some time had passed Blue couldn't sleep, he kept turning trying to get himself more comfortable, but to no avail, and his thoughts wouldn't shut off, he kept replaying their kiss and he just couldn't calm himself down because of it.

  Just then he heard a small grumble from Red, Blue stayed as still as he could not wanting to wake him but before he knew it Red had turned over and threw his arm over Blue.
  Blue blushed a little, although he was getting used to this, it comforted him.

  Red pulled Blue closer to him then planted a kiss on his shoulder blade, Blue melted into Red's embrace and was able to comfortably fall asleep in his arms.

Just a quick note to apologise for this being quite late compared to other parts.
I really struggled to decide which direction to take this but I hope you enjoyed it regardless.

I'm going to start publishing parts every few days rather than every day to give myself some time to think about each part to reduce my risk of becoming burnt out with this story.
But this won't stop me from posting quickly now and then.
