Blue woke up particularly early the next morning so he could be awake before Red.
  He carefully slipped himself out of Red's arms and quietly got dressed, changing into what he considered one of his better shirts.

  He went to the bathroom, fixed up his hair then brushed his teeth with the tap barely turned on to keep any sound to a minimum. Then picked up the small tube of foundation and squeezed a small amount onto his index finger, gently applying it to his neck. 

  "It's not perfect, but it'll do" he gently mumbled to himself while cleaning his hands.

  When he was done he carefully walked back over to the bed, picking up his phone, wallet, and room key from the bedside table. He looked over at Red who was sprawled out with Pikachu on his stomach, Blue silently scoffed a smile and then nudged Eevee awake and put a finger to his lips "Come on, we have some things to do this morning" he whispered.

  Eevee stood up and stretched his paws out with a delicate yawn, but as he moved Red started to stir.

  Blue panicked and froze hoping that Red wouldn't wake up, waiting a few moments for Red's movements to stop.
  He let out a gentle sigh of relief then picked Eevee up off the bed, he smiled softly at Red once more then turned to leave.

  Little did he know Pikachu had woken and was curious as to what Blue was doing. While Blue quietly shut the door to their hotel room Pikachu slipped out with them unseen, curiously and quietly following the two out of the hotel.

  Blue headed towards the mart, the early sun was already warm.
  "Looks like the weather is going to be good, perfect for today's plans," Blue said with a slight grin.

  "Ee-!" Eevee cried happily in response while holding onto Blue's shoulder.

  Pikachu tilted his head, confused, and continued to quietly follow behind.

  When they made it to the mart Blue picked up a basket and Eevee jumped down from his shoulder, following Blue happily into the store.

  "Pika-" Pikachu said quietly as he tailed them inside, weaving between people and Pokemon while trying to keep a distance.
  He stopped when he saw Blue browsing some of the different food items, watching closely while hiding behind the end of the shelves.

  Blue was having a hard time deciding what to choose but ultimately settles on some small, cute looking cakes, rice balls, and other small snacks.

  "Pii-!" Pikachu suddenly felt himself being picked up.

  "Oh aren't you just the cutest little Pikachu!" a woman said softly "Is your trainer here? Are you lost?" she asked, holding Pikachu up to her face.

  "Pi-ka" Pikachu responded while squirming in her grasp, trying to get free.

  "Ee!" Eevee suddenly cried and jumped, he had spotted Pikachu.

  "Pii" Pikachu gave up trying to get free, he'd been caught.

  Blue realised and went over to the woman "Oh, this Pikachu is with me, sorry about that" he said letting out an awkward laugh.

  "It's no problem" the woman smiled, placing Pikachu back down "Have a nice day," she said and smiled before turning away to continue with her own shopping.

  "Thanks, you too" Blue responded then looked down at Pikachu who had a grumpy pout on his face.
  "Doing a little detective work are ya?" Blue laughed.

  "Pika pi" Pikachu responded, sounding a little stern.

  Blue let out a soft sigh "I'll let you in on what I'm doing, but you have to promise not to tell Red".

  Pikachu looked at Blue, he wanted to know what they were up to but decided to use the situation to his advantage.
  "Pi" Pikachu turned his head away.

  Blue rolled his eyes "Fine, I'll buy you some treats, your favourite ones"

  Pikachu raised an ear but remained stubborn.

  "I'll buy extra treats, c'mon Pikachu, you gotta work with me here," Blue said, almost desperate.

  Both Pikachu's ears perked up and he turned around "Pika!" he replied with a nod.

  Blue let out a sigh of relief "Thanks".

  Eevee rubbed himself against Blue's leg and looked up at him with puppy dog eyes.

  "I'll buy you some too" Blue laughed.

  Pikachu and Eevee helped Blue with the rest of the shopping while he told Pikachu his plans, picking up some Pecha berries, some more water, pinap juice, and of course, Pokémon treats.

  Approaching their hotel room Blue fumbled to get his key card out with his hands full of items while Pikachu and Eevee ran around him playing.
 
 "C'mon guys, you're going to make me dr-" suddenly there was a rainfall of small bangs. Blue let out a sigh while also hoping no one heard, it was still early in the morning.

  Just as he started to pick things up and place them back into the bags he hears a door open, he didn't want to look up but when he did he was in awe.

  Red was leaning out the door after hearing the small commotion and saw the three with items at their feet.

  He stepped out to help which made Blue's face instantly flush a pink shade.

  Red had nothing but a towel wrapped around him and his hair damp.

  Blue quickly packed the rest of the goods away and pushed Red back into their room and shut the door behind them.
  "What are you doing?" he asked sharply but awkwardly.

  "I heard a ruckus so I decided to check it out and saw it was you, I was only going to help you pick your things up," Red said softly.

  "I know that-I mean, you can't just go out there like that!" Blue said, his voice shaky as he looked at the body in front of him.

  "Oh, I just got out of the shower" Red responded diffidently.

  There was a small pause between them then Red offered to help Blue with his things.

  "No, it's fine I got it, besides, if you helped it would ruin the surprise," Blue said with a grin.

  "What, what surprise?" Red asked cluelessly.

  "Well if I told you then it wouldn't be a surprise would it, just get dressed" Blue laughed in response.

  Red did as he was told with no idea what Blue had planned while Blue packed everything into a sturdier backpack, handing Pikachu and Eevee their treats and packing the rest for later.

  Pikachu ran over to Red happily with his treats.

  "Oh, you bought them some treats?" Red asked as he smiled down at Pikachu.

  Blue looked up at Red then darted a look at Pikachu who shot an almost smug look back at him "Yeah, I was feeling generous today" Blue said through his teeth.

  Red just smiled and pet Pikachu then finished dressing.

  Blue finished packing and Red was now dressed.
  "Ready to go?" Blue asked as Red walked over to him.

  "Right now? It's still early" Red replied, still getting closer to Blue, forcing him to back up until he was against the door to their room and leaned into his ear "I've barely seen you this morning," Red said softly, sending a shiver through Blue.

  "Yeah, but I-I've been busy" Blue responded awkwardly.

  "But what could so important that you had to leave me to wake up alone?" Red asked gently moving closer to Blue's neck.

  Red's warm breath against his skin made Blue melt. It was as if Blue was immobilized, he couldn't say anything, he'd quickly become a flustered mess.

  Red's lips made contact with Blue's neck. Blue let out a gentle noise but placed his hands on Red's chest for a few moments before pushing him away.

  "N-not now, we need to grab breakfast and set off... I have a whole day planned for us"

  Red pulled back and was almost smiling a grin, he came to love just how quickly he could shut Blue down like that.

  "Wh-whats that look for?!" Blue asked, flustered.

  "No reason, let's go," Red now smiled his familiar gentle smile.

  The two grabbed their things and set off to eat before their day ahead, Pikachu and Eevee following behind.
