Forgot to mention in other parts, but the story will focus more on Duel Monster then on fighting Grimm.

POV third

Our story begins with a young Ruby Rose (age 7) running to her older sister's room to look at her treasured duel monster card, the Black Rose Dragon.

Ruby: *slams door open* "AKIZA! I'm here to see Black Rose!"

Akiza is 3 years older then Ruby

Akiza: *giggles* "Ruby, you always come here everyday to see the card. I'm surprised you haven't asked to marry it yet."

Ruby: "I can't cheat on Crescent Rose! Plus, isn't Black Rose yours?"

Akiza: *smiles* "You are right... Then how about I give you these?" *Hands her some cards*

Ruby: *GASP* "REALLY?!" *Hugs her* "THANK YOU, SIS! I can't wait to show Yang! Come on, Akiza!"

Akiza: "Ok, ok, just give me a minute. You can head for the living room for now."

After Ruby left the room and went to the living room, she and the rest of the family heard a crash sound along with broken a sound similar to glass breaking, coming from Akiza's room. Ruby uses her Semblance to get to the room quickly, and kicks it open... But, Akiza was gone, along with her favorite card, the Black Rose Dragon.

Time skip 8 years in Atlas

Two Duelist are battling each other while they waited for a Bullhead for Beacon Academy. One Duelist is Mr Joey Wheeler:

While the other is the rumored "King of Games" (Y/n) (L/n):

Both Duelist have 300 LP remaining, and it's Joey's turn.

Joey: "Let's end this, (N/n)! I sacrifice Alligator Sword and Baby Dragon to Summon my strongest monsta!" *Plays the card* "LET'S GO, RED EYES BLACK DRAGON!"

Joey: "ATTACK HIS FACE DOWN MONSTA! INFERNO FIRE BLAST!"

The monster Joey destroyed was (Y/n)'s Beaver Warrior, but since it's in defense mode, he didn't lose any life points, and he still has 2 monsters on the field.

Joey: "That'll end my turn. You're up, (N/n)!"

(Y/n): "Nice job, Joey, but sadly..." *Draws next card* "It's time to end this! I sacrifice my Celtic Guardian-"

(Y/n): "-AND my Kuriboh-"

(Y/n): "-To summon my DARK MAGICIAN!" *plays card*

(Y/n): "AND! I fusion summon from my hand, fusing Gaia, the fierce Knight!-"

(Y/n): "-And my Curse of Dragon-"

(Y/n): "-To create Gaia, The Dragon Champion!" *Plays second card*

Joey: "... Uh oh..."

(Y/n): "Gaia! Attack his Red Eyes!"

Once (Y/n) declares the command, Gaia goes to attack Red Eyes, destroying it and dealing 200 LP of damage, lowering Joey's LP to 100.

Joey: *grunts from getting hit*

(Y/n): "And finally, GO, DARK MAGICIAN! DARK MAGIC ATTACK!"

Joey: "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" *LP hits Zero*

Once the duel is over, (Y/n) walks over to Joey, holding his hand out to shake hands, which Joey returns with a smile.

(Y/n): "Great match, Joey. You gave me a run for my money today."

Joey: "Heh, thanks, (N/n)! Though I'm still not as skilled as you."

(Y/n): "nonsense, Joey. You're just as skilled as I am, this match pretty much proved it."

???: "Hey! (Y/n), Joey! The bullhead is here!"

The two boys turn around to see their other friend and Joey's girlfriend, Mai Valentine, waiting by the bullhead.

Mai: "Let's go, you two!"

Joey: "Heh, ok, we'll head there now!" *Turns to (Y/n)* "Let's go!" *Runs to Bullhead*

(Y/n) runs after him to the Bullhead heading for Beacon Academy in Vale. As they enter the Bullhead, both (Y/n) and Joey noticed a person entering another Bullhead further away.

(Y)J: "What the hell?"

Before they could say or do anything, the Bullhead disappears out of nowhere without a trace.

Mai: *looks towards where they were looking* "... Did I miss something?"

Joey: "... I don't know. (N/n), did you see that?"

(Y/n): "... Yeah... Which means this won't end well..."

Joey: *sighs while slouching down* "and here I thought we'd be able to enjoy our time at Beacon..."

Scene starts to fade out as the Bullhead heads towards Beacon Academy.
