"Hey guys...We're all gonna die, aren't we?" a terrified voice was heard from the stage, shaking as it spoke.

"I...I mean...I'm not the one in it, r-right?" the voice continued, shaky, "You're the sacrificial pawns! It's you! Not me!"

"You! You're all gonna die! And I'll just say, I-I-I don't care! So just, just..."

A thumping noise was heard- perhaps the figure fell down. They spoke to the confused down once more, with the same shaky tone, "Well...I suppose you could call me...your...your mastermind?"

"I'm supposed to run this game, you know." the so-called mastermind didn't seem to be struggling with their words anymore, sounding bitter and remorseful for a moment before returning to how they were before, "Well, I'm gonna die! Die! Die! So-so you better give me results!"

A panicked laugh rang out before turning into a scream, dying out eventually. The town looked around at each other, and an unusual...bloodlust surrounded the town. Without many words exchanged, the town passed the time.
