"And we've got a burning for Dawn, alright." the mastermind walked off the stage, smiling at the soon to be executed town member, "If you'd just follow me, we can head to your demise."

Taking a gulp, Dawn followed the mastermind without resistance, taking a stop at the area they directed her to.

"Yep, just in the middle of the pentagram on the dot," seeing Dawn adjust themselves nervously, the mastermind gave her a smile, "Don't worry. You'll only be in eternal pain for the rest of your death. It happens."

Before Dawn could even react, fire erupted from beneath them, covering their whole body, and the fire burned for a couple seconds before dying away, leaving nothing but ashes.

Dawn stumbled, their body covered in burns, looking around the completely white area she was in. Every few seconds, the area seemed to glow, forcing them to to close their eyes. As she opened them, she could see figures moving around, whispering to each other.

"Are they evil?"

"Yes, they are..."

Dawn wanted to protest, stumbling forward and trying to make words, though only pain flared up. Everything brightened, scorching her eyes.

It was so painful...so painful...

...And it never would stop.

Meanwhile, the mastermind casually took a look at the setting sun, and the rising...moon? Yes, it was the moon, though it was a blood moon- red.

"Looks like it's Necronomicon time!" the mastermind exclaimed, seeming genuinely excited for once, though they still were fairly mellow about it.

Taking out a book and a bottle with a bright green liquid in it, they poured the liquid onto the book, and it disappeared as it got soaked.

"There!" giving their solidifying slime a pat, the mastermind looked up from where the now dissipated book was, "Have fun, everyone! Good luck!"
