[||Yosh! Time for the final chapter! First of all,Sorry if I posted ths chapter late. I was busy with projects so I hope you understand. Second,thank you for all the readers who have read the story all the way here. I'm glad I have made this fanfic. I hope this story had made you smile until the very end. No wait... some parts aren't happy at all... so scratch that. I hope you liked the story. Oh and thanks to all the chocolates my friends and sister sent me,those were delicious XD sheeeesh... I'll stop this drama already. Let's carry on to the REAL drama here,shall we? So,for the last time... ENJOY!||]

(Kuroko's POV)

I woke up the next morning,feeling a little groggy. I went straight to the bathroom to take a bath. Today is tuesday. We have classes.

I cannot seem to get over Kagami-kun's trip back home. My thoughts about him are hunting me all night and even at the time I am taking my bath. He is leaving later,right?

I grabbed the shampoo and placed a small amount of it on my palm,then massaged it to my head.

I don't think I have said a formal goodbye to him yesterday. After all, I was crying.

'Crying?' I widen my eyes as I remembered what happened yesterday. Right... I was crying. But why did I cry? I mean,yeah,I should cry because he was a friend. And he is leaving. Of course,anyone would cry if they would see their friend leaving for a long length of time. But... What I felt was different. It was different. I cried because... I felt something different. But what was that?

I got out of the bathroom fresh and clean. I opened my closet and wore my uniform. I hurried to the kitchen and grabbed the pan on the shelf and eggs in the refrigerator. After I have finished cooking my scrambled eggs,I placed it on my sandwich and ate it. I drank the glass of water and went to get my bag. I opened my bag to check if my things are ready. That was when I saw it. I slowly moved my hand to grab it. It was a CD. A plain CD,I guess. The top part of the CD has no picture,like the title or something that would name it,making me more curious of what's inside. The only thing that was covering it was a piece of plastic.

I turned my face to see the time. It's still early. I still have 30 minutes at least to stay home. Maybe I can watch this CD for a moment. Just a little bit won't hurt. I'm just curious. But,who left this inside my bag?

I opened the DVD player and the tv and immediately played the CD.

What's inside shocked me.

"So...uhh...Kuroko..."

I-I-It's... him...

"I know you're watching this right now. Urgghh... Its not really my character to do things like this."

K-Kagami-kun...

"...Anyway,this video is a letter. From me,Kagami Taiga,to you,Kuroko Tetsuya. If you're asking when I made this,I made this the day before we went to the recording studio,which will be tomorrow. If you are already watching this video,it means that the recording day has already ended. Which only means one thing. I have already left or it's time for me to leave."

I can feel my tears building up. I can't help it anymore. He made a video for me. He was the one who placed it inside my bag.

"Okay... Time to start this..." On the video,Kagami-kun wiped his forehead and sighed. "Kuroko... Thank you. For being my shadow. You helped me and you changed me. I'm a different person now because of you. Thank you because,you showed me how to love basketball. You helped me win for the team. Every pass you make,I make sure that I always do a score. We make a great duo when it comes to basketball. You know what,I underestimated you when I first saw you. I said you were little. And remember the first time we did a 1-on-1 game in the court outside? Ohh wait... You have amnesia... So you can't remember it,right? Silly me..." He facepalmed at his words.

I can't believe it. I can't believe he made this for me.

Kagami-kun,on the video, changed the place. He is now standing in a court.

"This is where we had our first 1-on-1 game. Sadly,you lost."

Then,the place changed again. This time,it's the school. He's standing infront of the gate.

"Now this is our school. This is where we first met. We had so many great times with our senpais as we practice for every game."

A tear found it's way down to my cheek as I watched him talk in the video. The video made me happy,and at the same time,sad because this is the only thing that will make me remember him. I went closer to the screen and traced his face with my index finger. 'Kagami-kun...'

"Kuroko... I know that,someday we will see each other again. I'll do my best to come back here in Japan. But I don't know when."

I will wait for you then,Kagami-kun.

Even if it would take you a century just to get back,I will still patiently wait for you. I will do anything just to see you again.

"Now for the last part of the video." I can see him running towards the gym. Specifically, the school's gym. The sun was nearly setting. Did he really go there just to show me something considering that it is almost evening? I watched him as he opened the door and revealed... nothing? It was empty... Or so I thought it was.

He made his way to the benches and saw a dog. Wait... I know that dog... It's... It was the dog I saw when I went to the gym.

"I... I can't go near him. Sorry. Because... I know it's embarrasing but... I hate dogs. But for you to see him more clearly,I'll try my best to conquer my fear,but just for today." Kagami-kun slowly walked closer to the dog and then the dog started running towards him. "Oh wait! NIGOU! I'LL BE THE ONE WHO WILL GET CLOSER! STOP IT RIGHT THERE! NO! DON'T COME ANY CLOSER. Good boy.... N-n-now w-wait for me until I get there to your place."

Nigou? Was the dog's name Nigou? Why does...why does it sound so familiar? Was it because I knew him before? Nigou...

My mouth was still slightly opened. I don't know what to say. Then tears continued to flow out of my eyes as he pat Nigou and after a while,he placed his head near Nigou and focused the camera to them.

"So, this is Nigou. He is the team's mascot. As you can see, he has those sparkling,beautiful and perfect big blue eyes like yours." I blushed a little after analyzing what he had just said. "I still can't believe I had conquer my fear an-- Oh no! Stop! Stop barking! Wait! Stop following me! NO! You should stop!" I chuckled as he run away from Nigou,shouting. But his voice hinted a little laugh. I find it cute that he is scared of dogs. Nigou barked at him and sat on the floor,and then started rolling around. Kagami-kun focused the camera to himself, "Sorry about that... well,I told him to take care of you for me. I hope he does his duty from now on. Anyway, It's getting late. I need to stop recording it now. I'll give this to you.. But not personally. I can't do that. But before I end this... I want you to know how important you are to me. Please take care of yourself now that I'm gone. I am... I am going to miss you,Kuroko,buddy. Well then, let's see each other again someday. Good bye,Kuroko... Thank for everything..." I was crying silently the time he ended the video but I noticed something before he ended it. He muttered something under his breath but I can't understand what that was.

The video lasted for 15 minutes. After watching it, I placed the CD back in my bag. I wiped my tears as I locked the gate. I need to go to school. And I don't want my classmates to see me crying.

It was our Science subject. I kept staring out of the window, not paying attention to what our teacher were saying. My mind was full of thoughts about the video he made me. I can't stop feeling sad about it.

My gaze saw the reflection of Kagami-kun's seat from the window. It made me sigh. He is not there. Of course,because today is the day he will go back to America.

Will he be alright? I can't see him depart today. I felt so guilty after remembering that we did not formally say goodbye to each other yesterday.

*bell rings*

The bell. It's snack time already. And that means it's time for him to go.

My classmates stood and went to their friend's seat and had a chat with them while I make my way to the school's gym. I want to see the dog. I want to see Nigou.

"Arf! Arf!" Nigou continued to wag his tail back and forth the time he saw me enter the gym. I smiled at him and pat his back.

"You are a good boy,aren't you,Nigou?" I smiled as he jumped excitedly. "I see that Kagami-kun is scared of you. But why get scared? You are as cute as me. But I am not saying I am that cute. In fact,I am not saying that I am cute at all. It's just that, our eyes looks the same,don't you agree?" then he replied me a bark.

I sat on the floor as I caress his back. Then after a while, I noticed myself talking to Nigou already.

"Speaking of Kagami-kun... Today is the day he will go back to America. And I hadn't said my goodbye yet. But there is no more time. I want to see him. I want to bid him my farewell. I want to talk more to him. I want him to know how important he is for me."

Nigou excitedly jumped up and down ang wagged his tail like he has something to say to me. He started licking my hand and then he looked at me. Why?

And then he started pushing my back.

Suprised,and at the same time confused, I asked him, "Why Nigou? Is something wrong? Do you have something to say?"

He stopped pushing me and continued looking at me with sad eyes. Then he pushed me again. I stood up and he pushed my feet to towards the...gym's door? But why?

"Why are you--" I stopped when I thought I heared Nigou talk. Did he really talk? Or was that just my imagination. 'go... go... now...' I looked at him and waited for him to talk again,but his mouth wasn't moving.

"Nigou..." I whispered. He... he wants me to follow Kagami-kun. He wants me to meet him again. "Nigou,are you saying that I need to go to him now?" He barked and nodded. "But... We have school. I can't." He whimpered slightly. "But I need to... I... I have to..." he pushed me again towards the door until I have opened it. I looked at him and smiled at him. And I smiled to myself.

"Thank you, Nigou... I'll come back. I have to see him and tell him what he needs to know. Thank you."

I started smiling while running toward the school gate. Kiyoshi-senpai,along with Hyuuga-senpai and Riko-senpai,saw me running.

"Oi! Kuroko! Where are you going?" I heared Hyuuga-senpai asked me.

I raised my hand at them while I continue running, "I'm going to see Kagami-kun."

"What? We have school for Pete's sake! You can't go to him! Are you insane?! OI! KUROKO!" Hyuuga-senpai shouted at me but I saw Kiyoshi-senpai pat his shoulder,calming him down.

I just answered back. "I must go to him. I need to go to him. I need to tell him something. Oh... and another one... I don't know who Pete is for me to care about his sake. Sorry." I turned my head back on track as I passed through the gates.

"Now I know why I feel different... Now I know why his reflection cannot leave my head. Now I know why I can feel this feeling. Now I know what I feel about him... Kagami-kun..." Those thoughts entered my mind.

I saw a bicycle just on my way to the airport. If I continue running,Kagami-kun might leave already. Without stopping,I gave the owner of the bicycle some money I have for exchange of his bicycle,I promised him that I will just return it later. So I immediately rode the bicycle and started pedalling to the airport. One by one,I passed the running cars. I never felt this kind of rush before. The wind continued blowing my teal-hair. And after a while,I can already see the airport. I'm getting close.

I reached the parking lot and quickly got off the bicycle,then I entered the airport.

"I know why I am having this wierd feeling when you are not here with me. Or even when you are here beside me. It's because... It's because..."

(Kagami's POV)

Here I am,ready to go. 5 minutes left and I'm off.

My friends can't come because of school. And that counts Kuroko.

I was waiting for the plane when suddenly,I remembered Kuroko.

'Kuroko...' I hear myself mumble as I continue thinking of him. "Did he already see the CD I placed inside his bag yesterday? Did he watch it already?"

"Will he be alright without me? Of course he will. Stop worrying,Kagami!" I shook my head. "But I can't. Not just the fact that we haven't bid our formal goodbyes,I also haven't told him yet what I feel for him."

I can hear the name of the plane I am supposed to ride. So,when they already called us, I stood up and grabbed my backpack and my big bag with the wheels. I turned my head back one more time and smiled. I am going to miss all of them. I am going to miss everything about Japan. I am going to miss my basketball career here. But I swear that I will come back. Not just to see them and play basketball with them again, but to see a certain shadow I had left.

I was about to go to the plane when I heared someone called my name. I slowly turned my head to see who it was.

(NORMAL POV)

Kuroko continued searching for him inside the airport. He almost bumped into other people but then he didn't stop and continue what he was doing.

He stopped when he saw a certain tall red-haired teen stood up and was walking to the direction of where his plane is. He was 10 meters away from him.

"KAGAMI-KUN!" shouted Kuroko as he calls his friend's attention. But it wasn't enough. So he tried to call him again.

That was when he ran closer to him and shouted his name again.

Kagami slowly turned his head at the back to see who it was and alas,the one whose calling his name is already hugging him.

Kagami widen his eyes as he saw who it was. "K-K-Kuroko?..."

Kuroko tighten his hug and buried his face on Kagami's back.

"Kagami-kun..." he whispered his name.

"Kuroko... W-what are you doing here? You have school today."

"You mean, we have school today." He started looking up.

"But Kuroko... That's cutting classes, you know." He grabbed Kuroko's hand which was hugging his abdomen and turned around so he can now face the boy.

Kuroko lowered his head and stared at the floor. "Kagami-kun... I... I want to say goodbye to you personally."

"Me too."

"Kagami-kun,please take care of yourself in America. Please study hard so you may be able to go back  here in Japan. Kagami-kun... I want to see you again, so you must promise me..."

Kagami didn't even bother making Kuroko finish his sentence. He cuddled him and snuggled his face on the other boy's hair.

"I promise... I promise I will come back to see you."

Kagami gave Kuroko a quick kiss on the forehead and he started blushing like a mad man.

"Kuroko... You are very important to me. That is because you are special. You are special because,I can only feel this when I am with you. I don't really know what to call it though."

Kuroko let out a chuckle. "You are also very special to me. Very,very special indeed. But I know what to call it."

Kagami stared at the boy. "I-I think I know what to call it now."

Kuroko smiled. He cupped Kagami's face using his hands and pulled it so that their forehead could meet. Kagami was in a state of shock as he blushed crimson red. But he just let the teal-haired boy do what he wants. They stared into each other's eyes for a minute or two. Then Kuroko released him.

"The plane will leave you if you don't hurry now." stated Kuroko.

Kagami was still speechless. But then he recovered at last. "O-okay... I'm leaving,Kuroko... Goodbye then."

Kuroko smiled, "Goodbye Kagami-kun,take good care of yourself!"

"I will! You too!" He was waving goodbye to him as he walked away.

"Oh I will,Kagami-kun...Thank you!" Kuroko almost shouted so that Kagami could hear him. Kagami gave him a thumbs up and after a while he was already sitting inside the plane.

The plane's engine started. He was sitting near the window. So he looked outside.

"Kuroko..."

"Kagami-kun..."

"I love you..."

Kagami felt his eyes watering as he whispered it. Same with Kuroko.

Later on, the plane started moving and then it was ready to take off. He catch a glimpse of Kuroko in the crowd outside the airport,waving at him. He also waved as tears started flowing out from his eyes.

Kuroko held his hands close to his  chest, 'I shall wait for you then,Kagami-kun.'

"Kagami-kun..."

...

"Kagami-kun..."

...

"Kagami-kun..."

He woke up and scratched his eyes. Then he felt his eyes watering. But why? Even his cheeks were wet. He yawned one more time before the figure in front of him got clearer.

"K-Kuroko?" 

That's when he remembered everything. Now he remembered why his eyes have tears. Why his cheeks were wet.

"Kagami-kun,are you okay? You were having nightmares. Well,I am not really sure if you are having one right now though." A teal-haired boy stood infront of him,patting his friend's shoulder.

So it was a dream! All of it! So he going to America is not true,then? He cannot believe that all of that was just his dream!

"So...I-I was dreaming?! It was all a dream?"

"I think so... you were crying a while ago. And then I saw you sleeping. So I had to wake you up. By the way, coach was calling us. Come on,Kagami-kun."

He stretched a hand out to help Kagami.

Kagami still can't believe that all of the things that had happened was just his dreams. He then smiled at Kuroko and gladly accepted his hand.

"I love you..."

He remembered the last part of his dream and blushed madly.

Kuroko noticed it. "Are you okay,Kagami-kun? You are all red."

"No! I mean,I'm okay! Just tired,I guess."

"Hmm...I am still curious of what Kagami-kun's dream was about because it made him cry." Kuroko asked as he lead the way to their coach.

Kagami blushed and looked away. "You don't have to know."

They reached the gym and found all of his teammates,including their coach.

"There you are Kagami!" Riko said as she walked closer to the pair. "We are about to start practicing"

"Where did you go?" asked Hyuuga.

"We were all looking for you,you know." Koganei added.

"He was sleeping when I found him." answered Kuroko.

"SLEEPING?" all of them asked in unison.

Kagami just smiled. He is thankful that it was only a dream. He missed this friendship in the team. And he was happy that he still won't have to leave Kuroko. He looked at Kuroko's smiling face.

'Oh God thank you!' he whispered happily to himself.

"Kagami-kun!" called Kuroko. He snap out from his imagination and got back to reality. "Let's go. We will still practice."

Kagami nodded happily. He made a mental note, and that is:

'I will always treasure every moments I have with you starting from now on.'
