Yo Kai are everywhere, just like the song says. You may have heard the tale of the demon that pretended to be a Yo Kai. Well that tale isn't as true as it seems. Some parts are certainly accurate, but others are completely ridiculous. It makes sense when you think about it. The tale was told by Sir Quinten Trembly. But after a year of waiting I have finally decided to set the story straight. So here is the true story of the Rise of Will.

Nate was biking down the street towards triangle park. School was out so he couldn't be happier. Nate was supposed to meet his friends Bear and Eddie at the park.

Nate was wearing his red tee shirt along with his brown shorts and red and blue boots. He was pretty average height and thin for his age. Nate had black eyes and brown hair that was all over the place. He was also wearing his trademark Yo Kai watch on his wrist.

At his side was his Yo Kai friend and Yo Kai butler Whisper and Jibanyan. Whisper's body was in the shape of an egg with a giant grin on his face, two arms, and a Yo Kai pad for getting information on Yo Kai.

Jibanyan was a bipedal red cat with two tails that had blue wisps at the ends of them.

Nate noticed something was off about the triangular park immediately. The entire outline of the park was glowing.

Nate stopped his bike in front of the park and dismounted. The faint blue glow was definitely not his imagination, but nobody seemed to notice. Which meant one thing...

"Whisper what Yo Kai makes things glow blue?" Nate asked Whisper.

"Nate you can't keep blaming things on Yo Kai, especially things that aren't there." Whisper chided him.

"Uhh no actually it's right thyere." Jibanyan corrected. Whisper looked at the park and gasped.

"Oh my goodness! Yes I know exactly which Yo Kai this is-this one is-well it's certainly this one!" Whisper stalled, while trying to sneak looks at his Yo Kai pad.

"Dude we know you're looking it up." Nate sighed.

"I have no idea what you're talking about Nate." Whisper lied, he continued to scroll through the pad until he saw a page he deemed satisfactory. "It says right here that, and I quote, 'if you ever see a glowing triangle-run. It means Will Cipher is coming.'"

"Who's Will Cipher?" Nate demanded.

"There's no information on him!" Whisper cried, meanwhile the triangle began to glow brighter.

"I hyave a byad feeling about this." Jibanyan took out a choco bar and ate it.

"That's it! I'll call Shogunyan, he'll know!" Nate took out the legendary Yo Kai's medal and put it into the slot on his watch. "Come on out my friend, calling Shogunyan. Yo Kai medal do your thing!" The watch lit up and the infamous legendary song began to play from it.

"IMAGINARY! INCENDIARY! FLIP FLOP SLINGA BOOM SLIM SLAM LEGENDARY!"

When the music ended and the light dies down Shogunyan was standing before them. He had an identical body type to Jibanyan. The main difference was he was dressed in samurai armor and had a sword at his side

"I am honored you have called me. What it is you need from me."

"We need to know about Will Cipher, and fast!" Nate said, shielding his eyes from the now blinding blue light.

"Will Cipher? I don't recall ever hearing about that name." Shogunyan said.

"Well we have bigger problems nyow guys!" Jibanyan shouted, getting their attention. He was pointing above the glow, where it seemed a smaller triangle shaped portal had appeared.

"You've never heard of me? Well kids I'm a name you'll never forget!" A voice boomed. The wind began to pick up, pushing them away. Cracks spread through the street.

"Please nyot another sinkhole." Jibanyan murmured.

"We need more help!" Nate decided, he took out Dandoodle's medal but it slipped from his hands and smack Whisper in the face.

"Ow!" Whisper complained.

"I'll stop this wind! Super amazing wind cutting slash!" Shogunyan removed his sword from its sheath and swung it at the wind, trying to disperse it. To no avail.

Just as quickly as it had started everything stopped. The glow faded, the wind vanished, and even the cracks stopped spreading. But one very big thing had changed, floating above them was a green triangle with two black arms and legs, a black top hat, a spinning bow tie, and one eye.

"Oh. My. Whaaaaaat!" Whisper screamed.

"Hello world!" The Triangle yelled.

"I've never heard of a Yo Kai like you." Shogunyan said.

"That's because I was sealed away due to my amazing powers! But I'm finally free!" He laughed. "The name's Will Cipher"

"I've heard of Yo Kai being sealed away into capsules but never into a park." Whisper said.

"Well it wasn't the park so much as it was another world. But the seals were weakening around here so I was able to break free."

"Well I'm just glad you aren't attacking the town or something." Nate said, sounding very relieved.

"As a matter of fact if it weren't for you summoning Shogunyan I wouldn't have been able to focus on a large source of power and escape. So I'm pretty grateful. So grateful that I'm going to give you my medal." A bright light shone in front of Will and a medal with his image on it appeared, floating down into Nate's hand.

"Whoa! Thanks Will!" Nate said.

"No problem kid. Call me whenever."

"Well done Nate. We've now made a very powerful friend." Whisper congratulated.

"We? All you did was look something up on your Yo Kai pad." Nate corrected.

Whisper looked hurt. "I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about!"

"It is sad that you don't even know anything and you have to look things up. It is sadder you pretend you don't." Shogunyan decided.

"Nyice one Shogunyan!" Jibanyan and Shogunyan high-fived.  

"Well I have to get going. Things to do and stuff." Will said.

"I must return home as well." Shogunyan said, he vanished in a purple cloud.

"Just be sure to remember: EVERYTHING IS A LIE! TRUTH IS FALSE, IDEALS A BULL! EM TSURT TNOD! ADIOSSSS!" Will vanished in a flash of light.

"What was that part at the end?" Nate tilted his head.

"Perhaps it is some sort of code or secret message like 'Whisper is amazing.'" Whisper suggested.

"Nyobody would ever say that." Jibanyan sighed.

"HEY!"

"Well whatever he said doesn't matter. Besides Bear and Eddie are here. Let's go!" Nate hopped back on his bike and rode over to his friends in the park.

Will was watching Nate through a crystal ball. "Just you wait Adams. What I said certainly does matter, for now enjoy your time. This'll be the last you see of your friends. Now to pay a little visit to California." Will snapped his fingers and vanished.
