Backstory: Mirai mother, who was an actress, died when she was 5. Mirai's father then remarried a woman who didn't like Mirai. She would tell her son, who was 3 years older than her, that he shouldn't treat someone like her with respect. This resulted in Mirai getting abused by her step brother and mother. They hurt her mentally and always hid it from her father, but it didn't matter since her father always thought Mirai was trying to get attention and ruin his marriage. He believed that Mirai was annoyed that he remarried and didn't want him to be happy.

One day when Mirai was 10 she saw that there was classes for kids who wanted to be actors/actresses. Since Mirai used to watch her mother acting, she decided this was her chance to follow in her mothers footsteps and get away from her abusive family. Her stepmother was thrilled to get rid of Mirai and she was immediately sent to the classes, which had a dorm.

Mirai from the start was a prodigy actress and became famous quickly, soon starting to be shown had started to be shown in magazines and was acting with other famous actors. Mirai's stepmother, after finding out about how famous Mirai had become, wanted her back in her life. She only wanted the money that Mirai was earning but Mirai didn't want anything to do with them. By high school she had started to be called the ultimate actress.

Backstory: Megumi grew up in a pretty well off household with her big sister Chiaki. Ever since she was little, Chiaki had always been obsessed with video games so watching her play was the only real way the two could bond. Eventually, when Megumi became old enough, she began to help her sister do the voices for characters in the games. She quickly gained a knack for it and got a wide range of voices. Her parents noticed this and encouraged her to participate in young drama clubs where she befriended a little girl with pink hair (Kotoko) though she never saw her out of the club sessions too often. Her life changed soon after her sister vanished while at Hope's Peak Academy. She remembered being saved from looters by a man with blood red eyes and long black hair. After the Tragedy, she lived in peace with the 77-B class until she was taken in by the future foundation. She then began to get roles in voice acting and was soon scouted as the Ultimate Voice Actress.

Other:

• Gets bored easily after everything that has happened to her, the killing game is like her normal life, so she doesn't always react like the others. She had dealt with a lot and most things become predictable to her. Romance is one of the things that she can't predict, she doesn't understand it.

• Has a hard time fully trusting people, she can't put her full trust into anyone.

• Was taught how to protect herself from Peko, Akane and Nekomaru.

• Megumi doesn't like talking about her past, since her past was so despair inducing she's traumatised by it. She would immediately change the subject or just not answer the question. The closer she is with someone the more likely she will talk about it.

• Thanks to Izuru she is very good at analysis/reading people and can see small details that other people wouldn't be able to see. She can also see if people lie thanks to Izuru as well. Kokichi isn't happy about that at all.

• Thinks of Izuru/Hajime as like a guardian angel since he saved her and looked after her for so many years. When she saw Tsumugi dress up like him she was heartbroken and angry. What broke her was that Hajime and everyone that looked after her all those years were just characters and weren't real.

• While everyone was alive, Rantaro had noticed that Megumi knew too much. He believed that she was the mastermind and planned to kill her. Unfortunately for him she was around people most of the time so he continued his normal idea, which was the secret room, and was killed for it.

• In the last trial, the remaining students found out about Rantaro's plan to kill Megumi. Since  she indeed knew a lot about the outside world, it made sense why he thought she was the mastermind. By then Shuichi knew about Megumi's past and the knowledge she knew, he wasn't happy about what Rantaro had planned to do to Megumi, but didn't blame him.

• Tsumugi felt threatened by Megumi because of her knowledge, which made her make Rantaro try to kill her. When Rantaro gave up that idea she decided to finish off where Kaede had started and killed Rantaro. Afterwards her plan kept failing so Megumi survived to the end which didn't make Tsumugi happy.

• After Hajime and the others came out of the Neo World Program, Megumi, who was a little older, seemed to immediately notice that Hajime was Izuru. Hajime remembered her and him and the 77-B class adopted her and looked after her. One day she was taken away, by Makoto on Hajime's wishes, and was taken in by the future foundation. He wanted her to be around people her age and live a normal life.

• Was heartbroken to hear about Chiaki's death, from Hajime, but even after hearing all of the bad things that happened at Hopes peak she still wanted to go to the place Chiaki went to.

• Used to voice the characters in Chiaki's games to make it more fun as a child.

• After the Neo World Program, Megumi lived with class 77-B. After everyone heard from Hajime about Izuru's memories and his surprising attachment he felt for the younger girl, Mirai (my D2 Oc) helped everyone look after the girl. Megumi felt attached to Mirai especially since the girl liked acting like Megumi did. Megumi learnt a lot from her and everyone from class 77-B.

• Real her was close friends with pregame Kaede, they both met at school and became close friends after finding out they both loved Danganronpa.

• The pregame her had no faith in humanity and felt empty inside, she wanted to feel something so she watched Danganronpa and found the thrill of the killing game. She became a fangirl and voiced in games that people made of killing games. She saw that Danganronpa was looking for people to be apart of the killing game and immediately signed up wanting to continue to feel the thrill she felt but this time in person. Her parents would always argue and was on the verge of a divorce, so they didn't care what real Megumi did.
